Love this place! Amazing Indian food, definitely going back again.

Incredible! I got the chicken bihari and it one one of the best Indian dishes I've ever had. Willborn and our server (I'm sorry, I didn't catch her name but she was like a Disney princess) were so great and really treated my husband to the experience because it was his 40th birthday!

We dined at Aaru's for the first time tonight, and enjoyed the experience very much. The dining room is small, but we came at about 5:30 and were seated immediately. The menu is extensive! We started with samosas which were scrumptious. The pastry was light and crisp and piping hot and the seasoning was perfect. I ordered Chicken Saag. The chicken was tender and juicy and the spinach sauce was perfection! I ordered mild because I like my lips to burn a bit but I don't want to cough and it was exactly what I enjoy. The sauce had many spices and every bite revealed an added layer of complexity to the dish. I have had this dish on several occasions and I think this was my favorite. My husband had Aaru's Platter and it was flavorful and was a large portion served with 3 sauces. If you are on a low carb diet this may not be the best option for you. It was delicious but had a lot of carbs. The food was served promptly and was hot on arrival. Willborn was our waiter and he took excellent care of us. We can't wait to return and sample some of the other delights on the menu! P.S. My wife wrote this review. I'm not this wordy.

I am kicking myself for not eating here sooner. If you like spicy food, order your portions "hot" or "indian hot." Medium is pretty tame, but "hot" had great flavor with just the right amount of burn. Aaru's does an amazing job at incorporating the flavors of szechuan spices with traditional indian dishes - and it is a flavor combo right from the heavens. This place just got added to our permanent rotation. 👏🏻

Good food with helpful service from Willborn.

I was a little thrown off by the exterior of the building. It just wasn't what I was expecting. From the time we walked in, things just kept getting better. We ordered the chicken 65 and schezwan momas. Both of them were excellent with the perfect level of spice. I had the burnt garlic fried rice with chicken and shrimp for an entree and my sister had Aaru's platter. Both entrees were very good, but I liked the rice just a little more. The portions were very generous and the service was great. The experience was top notch. I'll definitely be back again.

This is absolutely a hidden gem in Tallahassee. It’s elevated Indian dining without being pretentious or overwhelming. Willborn was an exceptional and attentive host and waiter. His suggestions and explanations made for a great meal. If you’re looking for an appetizer, don’t skip the Chicken65. You won’t regret it.

Been going here for years. Calm quiet and chill atmosphere with consistently great tasting food. Sits somewhere between well-known and secret hole-in-the-wall you want to not tell friends or show off for special occasions.

Vegetable Kolhapuri had peas and green beans which detracted the overall flavor. Potatoes, beans, or other starchy veg would’ve been better. The rest of the food was fantastic and Willborne was attentive.

We loved everything we ordered. The Vegetable Manchurian was packed with flavor and our entrees were great. We ordered both Indian and Indochinese and it did not disappoint. There were great vegan options on the menu for a member of our party.

Food was perfect. Only giving 4 stars because 20 minutes after we ordered, our waiter told us that the tandoor oven broke and we could only order curry.

I visited Aaru's Indian Cuisine for the first time and had an amazing experience. I ordered the Poori Bhaji and banana fritters, and they were both fantastic. The flavors were spot on! Nehal was super friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. I also got a chance to chat with Chef Nagesh, who was really polite and friendly. He recommended I try the Goat Masala Fry next time, and I definitely will! Can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu based on the chef's recommendations.

I like sitting on the shaded patio to catch the breezes. My regular order is a dosa and a mango lassi. Tonight I chose a butter chicken dosa and was delighted by the tender white chicken chunks and delicately spiced sauce. Since 1990 when I lived in New Delhi for 10 months, I have ordered dosas in various cities I am happy to live within a mile of Aaru's where I can indulge my fondness for excellent Indian food.

This was our first time to Aaru’s. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the butter chicken, tandoori mono and garlic naan. I have been to India and this is authentic Indian cuisine. Willborne’s service was impeccable. We will be back.

Even though the food was amazing, there was only one server/phone order taker/cleaner/food delivery person. He was very busy and didn’t check on us at all. To top it off, the tandoor grill broke and we had to re-order everything, because the Sizzlers portion of the menu became unavailable. I understand that this happens, but at least could’ve offered some sort of “compensation” or an appetizer.

Nehal was our server and he was amazing! The food was even better than the service!

This is the best Indian in Tallahassee. Nehal was a great server and made my 5 year old’s day. Excellent heat level and very kid friendly.

Aaru's is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The idli and dosa served here are the most authentic I've had in the U.S. I love the Andhra Chicken Curry, too, as it has such a uniquely delicious flavor to it. Their sambhar is truly magical. Willborn was very helpful and guided all of us to pick the best items from the menu, which we appreciated so much with dietary restrictions. Everyone really enjoyed the falooda for dessert, too. Anytime we are in the area, we make sure to stop by Aaru's. We've been here several times and each time have been amazed by how good our food was. It's really rare nowadays to find an Indian restaurant that repeatedly maintains such an elevated level of quality and service. This is truly one of the best!

Absolutely delicious! Favorite butter chicken in Tallahassee. Willborn was super friendly and even lend our baby a toy to play with while we ate.

Great samosas, sauces, and fantastic variety. Had to get their Schezwan paneer (medium), and it tastes like the best sweet and sour sauce you’ve ever had. Willborn provided attentive and timely service.

Willborn’s service was great! I asked him for food and beer recommendations and he did not miss…their lamb curry and aaru’s mixed grill was absolutely delicious and washed down perfectly with a cold kingfisher!

I was visiting Tallahassee today and decided to try one of the Indian restaurants. I chose Aaru's to have lunch. I ordered mysore masala dosa and it was amazing. Wilborn was my server and he was working alone and it was a bit busy but he was still very efficient and attentive. I would definitely go back here to try some more food

The best Indian restaurant in Tallahassee in terms of food. It has both outdoor and indoor seating. The non-veg platter costs $20 while the veg costs $16. Slightly costly considering the quantity of food provided. But otherwise a must visit for people who want to taste some good Indian food within Tallahassee.

It was great first time with our 3 kids, the server Willborn explained every question we had about certain foods.

The restaurant is quaint place. The service was good. The food was delicious. My son truly enjoyed the bread, so much that he asked for seconds. We will definitely come back to eat here. Thank you Willborn for the great service.

We have been coming to Aaru’s for about a year now and it never fails to disappoint. The lunch buffet is amazing and offers a variety of different items to have your tastebuds tingling. Willborn was a great server and took very good care of us!! Be sure to come by this hidden gem in Tally!!

The atmosphere of this place was so calming and cute! We were greeted by a very sweet lady (i think the daughter of the owners) she treated us with upmost care. I got the butter chicken as well as the garlic naan which was all super good and tasteful. The butter chicken was a little sweeter than I was used to but it was still very good. Highly recommend this place!

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I ordered enough to feed my family of 7, and ate most of it by myself. It was so good, I plan to bring my wife and children from Jacksonville to try it. Willborn recommended every dish I ordered, and I couldn’t have enjoyed my meal more.
