Alex”s gyros are the best gyros in the town , they have variety of delicious items , Quick and friendly service . I recommend this small restaurant to my friends and family . Love it

One of the best cheesesteaks and gyros this side of east Orlando. Shop is nice, staff is friendly and prices are reasonable to the amount of food given. Absolutely delicious made fresh and under 3 mins. For 2 person order. Come give this place a shot. Right of east colonial before goldenrod. Decent parking.

Went there to try the food because I was in the neighborhood and the food is halal. Got the food but it was lack of seasoning and the meat was cook not properly. It was still cold in some part . The atmosphere seems unclean .

Lived near by for many years and never thought of stopping here. The day I decided to try it, I’ve never eaten a cheesesteak anywhere else. Staff is friendly, restaurant is always clean, and the food is AMAZING! Highly recommend

We stopped here based on the reviews and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed it so much that we are now here a 2nd time this week. Simple menu and very nice family run. My son will be a regular after we leave him here for college. Thank you!!

Wonderful halal food. The lamb is so fresh and melts in your mouth. The pita bread is so soft and tasty. The young man who took my order was really nice! I also heard that this is a great place to hang out and catch a soccer game!

I went here for the first time today. I saw cheese steak, and i haven't had a good one in many years. Every time I'm on that side of town is before its opening time, so i didn't get a chance to try it. I ordered the cheese steak combo. The people working were very nice. The cheese steak was very well done and a generous portion of food. The fries were also a good portion size. I'll be sure to come back as this was a great surprise. I rate it the best cheese steak in the area.

So first off. I just ate a cheese steak for the first time. They have a lamb option for that!! Food is made to order so order aheD if in a hurry. Family owned. Amazing!!

Had the lamb doner kebab salad. It was the lamb meat over a bed of salad plus some salad dressing and cheese. It was very good.

Alex's Cheesesteak is really, really good. It's packed with meat, the bread isn't too heavy and the cheese is gooey. The place is messy inside though.

It’s a small place, not a place for a large group, but if you want some good take out, or dinner/lunch for 2-3 it is 5*. 5/5 because of that and great price for the quality of food.

This place is a fast and fantastic authentic gyro place. The gyro salads are huge and the homemade sauce are outstanding. Wish yall were closer to where i live. We'd eat here every week. They even sell gyro meat by the pound!!!

My buddies and I had an amazing time at Alex Gyro and Philly Cheesesteaks! The gyros were flavorful, and the Philly cheesesteaks were great. The service was top-notch too. Highly recommend for a delicious meal with great service! This place has been my go to for years now for a Philly or a Gyro. You gotta stop by if you’re in Orlando.

Good sandwiches, pretty good fries, incredibly friendly staff over the years. The veggie falafl is my go to dinner after a long days work. Filling and healthy. They make a good burger and wings are awesome too, haven't found anything bad on the menu yet.

I got carried away by the comments, most of the comments are bought, the worst dinner of my life, I don't recommend it, if you don't believe me, go and eat in the dirtiest place, my horrible food needed salt and I didn't grab it because the salt shaker seemed to have been picked up from the garbage God willing I don't get sick

It's a little hole in the wall restaurant with great service. We had fish and chips as well as Philly cheese steak. The fish and chips was amazing. Did not feel oily at all. The fries seemed previously frozen but were crispy, hot and delicious. The Philly was nothing to write home about. First, they use nacho cheese and I made the mistake of asking for spicy. For spicy they just add Mexican hot sauce. It's a steak sandwich but not Philly in any shape or form. One member in our group ordered the non spicy and it was much better but still not a Philly. The kids had chicken nuggets and they loved them. Update: came here again and the staff is still great, the fish still good, the Philly steak with jalapenos and white cheese was very good but still not really a proper Philly steak sandwich. The washroom was ok but with only hot water to wash your hands. It was really tough to wash all the soap off. Prices are still very reasonable even after all the inflation after COVID.

Absolutely love this place! My husband and I make it a point to stop and grab a bite here frequently because the food is amazing and the staff is always nice and friendly. Everyone needs to get a mixed philly combo!!!! I refuse to get a philly anywhere else. Theirs is superior! Do yourself a favor and eat here!!

I’ve tried a lot of the Philly cheesesteaks in Orlando and these are by far the best. Their gyro is also amazing. It’s an open kitchen so you can see how fresh your food is. I will drive 40 minutes again for this hidden gem.

Best food in Orlando. We had Gyros and fries. Food is freshly cooked. Owner Hanif works in restaurants. His Daughter was also eating there. Restaurant is clean. Service was awesome. Food price is reasonable. We will go back again . I recommend all my friends and family.

This place has THE BEST PHILLY'S hand down!!! I bring everyone here to try it. So far nobody has disagreed with me. Food is always amazing. I've had their gyros, philly's, dinner plates and wings. They make their own fresh tzatziki sauce for the gyros too. The prices are great too for the amount of food they serve. The interior/atmosphere is humble and simple.

Good food the first time around.. But today I ordered before I went on my lunch break.. Gentlemen told it would be ready in 15min.. Waited 20min to head there.. Got there , just to wait another 10-15, before I was asked if I had shrimp with my order.. Very disappointing.. Had to leave with no food..

Do not get fool by the place the food is actually pretty good I had the cheesesteak combo and it was delicious a lot of flavor and big enough for the price ! I just wished the place looked better maybe some music a little bit cleaner some menus would give this place a 5 star just for the food but I believe they need a bit of music and re order a bit but I loved the food I’ll come back ❤️❤️🙏🙏

U should always support local businesses but I feel like this business does a great job with the food but the service is like any other Arab spot. The customer is always wrong and the Arab owner is always right. I’ve never ordered a gyro in my life and always get a mixed Philly. Be he heard what he heard and I had to pay for it.

I had to edit this review because it’s not accurate anymore. I knew ownership had changed shortly after I posted this review. But I just went back, and what you see here is not what you will get. It’s not bad- but it’s not what it used to be. I ordered a mixed (gyro+steak) Philly, with white cheese mf and onions- and I made the mistake of not checking the order before I left, because I ended up getting a normal cheesesteak with cheese whiz and green peppers. I feel bad because it was a literal child taking the order, but thats really annoying. If you need clarity just ask the customer! I won’t be coming back sadly, but I’ll leave the review below as a standard. ———————————————— Quite possibly the best cheesesteak in town. The pictures speak for themselves. Don’t sleep on these cheesesteaks. Try the mix Philly (gyro + beef). The gyro meat is also amazing, ask for it extra crispy with some more white sauce on the side. 🙏🏻

We ordered takeout: a cheesesteak, burger, and gyro. I would rank the items from best to worst as cheesesteak, gyro, and burger. The cheesesteak had a good amount of meat and cheese. The gyro was packed too. Overall, they are open late, provide filling portions, and have some tasty options. If you're in the area, give them a try.

Honestly some of the most disappointing food I've ever had. First, who in their right mind lets one person work alone during lunch hour, that alone baffles me. The one person who did cook my food while a kind person gave me an estimate on how long my food will take to be ready. The problem however is that he gave me an estimation 50 minutes shorter than what it took for my order to be ready. Now onto the food itself. I order 2 Philly cheesesteak orders for me and my mother. The cheesesteaks themselves were fine enough but not worth the 1 hour and 20 minute wait time. The fries were horrible, somehow they were both freezer burnt and also overcooked in the oil, and on top of that extremely bland. My mother also found a hair in her food. I had high hopes for this place based off all the 5 star reviews claiming its the best cheesesteak in the Orlando area but its clear to me that this place is well past its prime. Sadly no matter how much I wanted to like this place I don't see myself returning. 0/10

Best cheese steak I have had in a while! Delicious fries, fish was fried perfectly, and everything was fresh.

Would highly recommend this place for a couple of reasons: - Everything is Halal! - Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure we had enough sauce/utensils after we sat down - the Food is amazing. Very fresh, well seasoned and good portion sizes. - the bread for the philly steaks they use is different, much softer which I like. - service is pretty fast. Definitely coming back here

Very friendly staff, we ordered 3 meals and the food came out in less than 10 minutes, we watched them make it all fresh as it as an open kitchen. The food was delicious, we ordered a Philly cheese steak and chicken and a fish and chips. The sandwiches were loaded with meat and smothered in cheese, about as authentic as you can get being this far from Philadelphia. Perfectly seasoned and a very messy (cheesy) bite! The fish was soft and had a well seasoned and crispy crust. The price is also unbeatable, all 3 meals came out to $34. Will definitely be coming back here soon. Best of all, it’s halal! My only critique would be that the fries were not anything special. They were not bad but rather just plain. Just a bit of seasoning.

Quick and friendly service, the gyros and Philly are out of this world.

Every time I go to them they come up with a increase in price. Previously they charged additional credit card fees this time they charged extra for a combo with Gatorade. They guy started interrogating me when I told him I was your regular customer and they charged addition 5 dollars for gatorade and CC fees. I wont be giving them anymore business. We ordered three meals today and we often end up eating there but not anymore.

My family has been going here for years. They are amazing and NO other cheesesteak can top theirs.

Our family was surprised with how slow the place was for a Wednesday night. You order at the counter and the service is fast and polite! I recommend for lunch breaks, causal dining, and to gos!

Philly Cheesesteak Combo tasted pretty good. Just wasnt a fan of the nacho cheese. Bit excessive with it. Maybe someone else would like it. Just not for me. Overall for the price pretty good deal. Comes with full Philly, fries and a drink. Would I eat here again. Probably.

I did take out, and the establishment was extremely dirty. There were people doing dine in and enjoying this terrible food. I ordered a falafel sandwich, which was extremely dry and tasteless. The young lady serving was extremely nice, but it can't make up for this terrible food.

My last review of this restaurant was 3 years ago. Still my go to stop for the best steak sandwich, gyros, burger on Orlando's east side. I'm from Chicago and let me tell you the gyros seriously satisfies!

Very good! One of the best Philly Cheese Steaks you'll find in Orlando. The restaurant itself seems a little bit on the older side, like it hasn't seen a renovation since the early 2000s, but the food speaks for itself.
