Had breakfast today at the Latin Bakery and it was a nice surprise! From the Cuban food to the ethnic atmosphere, it was great. From the food to the coffee everything was outstanding...we will be back!

Stopped in yesterday with my kiddos because my husband always raves about this place (they get it at their work every week). Ordered the cafe con leche (uhhhhhhmazing) and their guava and cheese pastry. They were both absolutely amazing - the pastry had just guava (which is hard to find anywhere, usually people skimp out on it) and the pastry itself was so incredibly flaky and delicious. The cafe con leche hits on all the levels needed on an outing with two kids under 3. The ladies working the front were super helpful as well. Service was quick. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Great Cuban food pastries and hot lunch and dinner entrees. One of the few places you can go to that if they're out of empanadas will quickly make some to order. Good eating.

I went for a coffee and they didn't want to sell it to me, because I had to spend more than $5 to be able to use the debit card, so I ordered a little piece and the ham was GREEN! Unpleasant experience

If you are in the area is a most go and try kind of place the food is delicious, great service and great prices!! Is a small Cuban bakery with all the "antojitos" you can have from back home or if you just love this culture food or want to try it I recommend this place!! We had ham and cheese sandwiches and of course the Cuban sandwiches. A most try is the sweets!! Quesito, tree Leche y flan. Ideal para desayunar en family ya que tienen una Buena variedad y hasta fritura. Mi favorite el relleno de papa y established buenisimo!!

Worst cuban pastries I have ever had super dry. I spent over $60 in pastries and flan all of which were terrible. Besides the service was not very friendly or welcoming no matter how nice I tried to treat them.

I have to stop here every time I find myself on this side of town! I’ve loved everything I’ve ever eaten here! It is authentic Latin food, and their pastries are soo good! I think of it as a hidden gem, and I tell everyone that I think may not have been yet.

I liked this place. The Cuban was more authentic and superior to any other in Ocala, if not anything north of I-4. The bacon breakfast croissant was good. I did make the mistake of getting what they call hash browns. For $2.00 you get basically what you can buy at Sam's Club: a premade handheld thing like you get at McDs. It's crowded and there isn't much seating but I'll be going back.

On point Cuban Bakery and lunch spot!

We had Cuban sandwiches, tostones, and several different empanadas. Everything was amazing, freshly prepared and well seasoned. My favorite was the vzla style cheese empanada and the 4 leches cake. We will be back!

Found this gem and ordered online. I was really excited to see the stuffed potatoes. Use to get these in Ybor City and these are better. I also ordered the beef empanda and the corn cake with cheese which I had never tried before.

By far as good if not better than any Cuban food I've had all over the state of Florida and the bakery is to die for!

Always friendly, always good food. We've often enjoyed the Breakfast 1 combo (includes large portions) when shopping or after the doctors, but the Cuban sandwich and beef empanadas are great for takeaway. The fries are better than the hash browns. (Haven't tried the lunch buffet, but many folks seem to enjoy it.)

With 1 hour left until close, the place was dirty and no one In the restaurant, but all the tables were dirty. Upon walking in we received rude faces as if they would rather not have our service. And when asked politely if someone could please wipe down a table, the other server sighed and rolled her eyes. We dined-In and it seemed like they were rushing us out. They put up all the other chairs on the tables as if they were closing. I have never had such treatment or felt rushed while dining in. I will not go back. Okay food. Service was horrible and memorable and not in a good way.

Workers were not friendly, Cuban sandwiches were big but the pork in them was so tough we had to pull it out and throw it away, and the pickles were droopy and soggy. We won’t be back.

This restaurant is awesome! The food is extremely good! The meals, deserts, and cuban coffee!! Yum!! The portions are large. You are literally getting two meals in one. Superb! The staff is wonderful too! Authentic Cuban food!! What more could you ask for!!!

I found an old photo showing Wanda’s trailer back in the day. Lunch-hour, it’s busy busy busy! Plan to be early or later-it’s such a hot spot. I love the fried steak lunch plate and the steak sandwich is my favorite (add fried plantains), they go wonderfully with the shoestring potatoes that are on it! It’s a little pricey for the lunch but the quality is fresh and superb! If you gotta split it, split it. But you gotta give them a try. They also have a mini-warmer with Cuban beef, pork and even chicken lunch dishes (rice, beans, plantains, etc) dished to order done-in or take-out. I only order the Cuban when I want the last half for dinner-its that BIG of a sandwich. Don’t leave without one of their fresh deserts made in-house (flan, bread pudding, and more). I love this place!

The worst sandwich I've ever eaten, and I only ordered one that was the simplest of just ham and cheese with a bit of mayonnaise and lettuce and tomato... the person who took my order was in a bad mood, tables occupied by people who didn't were consuming, those people thought they were in a social club and not in a place to eat.

Another hidden gem. Shopping in the plaza, we noticed the bakery sign, and as we already had lunch, we ordered some pastries to go. Yumm!! Guava pastry, guava and cheese and cheese pastry was delicious. They were even still warm. We arrived around lunch time and the place was fairly busy. Employees friendly, prices very reasonable and the atmosphere upbeat. Will be back to order a Cuban sandwich. Leaving South Florida in 2014 and just now getting back to Florida, we have missed Cuban food and glad we found this great restaurant.

When I'm waiting on my mom to finish her physical therapy, I love stopping in for some wonderful food or snacks and a cortadito. Great prices, super friendly, and the food is delicious. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for Latin American food.

We ordered the Cuban sandwich good price lot of food; sandwich was not hot all the way through and breakfast plate had a cold chewy turkey bacon I think but wasn’t real bacon. Cafe con leche and buttered toasted Cuban bread was very good! Menu has variety and atmosphere was familial and nostalgic. Worth checking out!

My mom was born and raised in Puerto Rico and now living in NY but every time she comes to visit me in Florida I make sure to stop by Angela’s to pick up all the desserts she loves and grew up on when she lived on the island. All their varieties of flan, their tres leches cake, their tembleque and everything else is so delicious. Takes both of us back to our childhood memories watching my grandmother, her mother having made them from scratch. Nobody else comes close to getting it right!

If I could give this so called "Bakery" less than a star I would. I cannot answer the questions below: dine in or take out, or what I got, because because I was not even greeted when I walked in the establishment. My presence was not even acknowledged. I waited because whom I presume was the owner was chatting with what I taught was a "friend" because they were talking about personal business. Mind you this was the first time I stepped into this "bakery" I waited approximately ten minutes nd still no acknowledgment of my presence there. I began to believe I was invincible. After about those ten minutes a bag was given some carry out in a bag and was told " It's on me" still no acknowledgement. I decided to just walk out. I would never set foot in this establishment again as well as my family and friends. I was accompanied by my sister who was here in Ocala on vacation. What a disappointment. Than we question why some Latino business don't prosper. Common courtesy and respect for all customers is a must to run a business. You never know who would be the person visiting your business. Shame, Shame, Shame.

This place is a joke....bakery bakes not buy cakes from Sam's club and call it their own. Tuxedo cake ...Sam's club, chocolate cake...Sam's club.... coconut cake ...Sam's club... lemon bar cake ... Sam's club....for real...look at it ...lol

Went here for years when it was Mary’s and was always happy with food. Went yesterday and was disgusted with Cuban sandwich! How can you make a Cuban with smoky ham and two small pieces of nasty pork no pickles and about three tablespoons of Mayo!! Will never go back!! If you still go you need to split a sandwich to see what you get before you waste your money and have to go elsewhere!🤮
