Rin was our server, excellent service and great food and drinks!

Hands down my FAVORITE place to eat breakfast. Nice, clean, and comfortable atmosphere appropriate for the whole family, business, and/ or special occasion. Service and food is impecable with food options for the entire family. Special thanks to Sage, Drew, & Katie (Servers/ Bartenders) who always provide the absolute best service, and going the extra mile to make you feel like family. You will not regret your experience at the "Another Broken Egg" location on Nine Mile road. I assure you.

I enjoyed my first visit here the other day. The food was very rich and decadent with lots of delicious flavor. I'm not a big brunch lover but I can see the appeal. I ordered the bacon/queso omelet which was very fluffy and a pretty big portion also. A cool deal for first time visitors is, they bring you a plate of complimentary beignets with a very scrumptious orange and honey marmalade. Although they were over fried and hard, I'd pay big money for that orange marmalade! That stuff was fabulous! Overall this will probably be a one and done for me since the food is a bit pricier than I expected and the menu is a tad bougie but my server (Nathan, shout out!) Was a doll! Very sweet and helpful.

Service was good and little slow on busy days but not bad

Food was great. Our server, Nathan K, was excellent. He had many tables (some large) and was still able to be right on time with everything we needed. He was very nice and accommodating, and was very knowledgeable and friendly.

UPDATE After a year. The improvements are commendable. The food is well worth waiting for. The current staff is cordial, helpful, and inviting. I have come on to some favorites, Mardi gra scramble and city grits. The seasonal soft shell crab scramble has been my current binge. BE PATIENT. Enjoy the meal and you'll come back often. Being new with new staff and new surroundings it is undergoing a growing experience. There is nothing truly to complain about. The meals are "on par" with expectations. On our second visit, Tequila dealt very professionally with a couple who chose to be a trifle troubling..she adjusted. Our second visit was decidedly better than our first..the initial meal .. omelets... the eggs didn't appear to be well blended and had steam holes in them from either water or grill too hot. The second experience, the flavors and choices , are again, AS EXPECTED. Go, enjoy, and expect a casual meal. Oh, the City Grits are unique.

Three of the four of us loved our meals. The other was an issue of personal taste. Service was great.

Food is incredible, the staff is wonderful and tentative. You're going to wait a bit for your food but it's worth it. Shout out to them city grits!!!

Amazing breakfast tried the chicken with gravy and eggs all was very tasty. Wait times can be long, but you can join the waitlist before getting to restaurant.

Excellent service by Analiese! Crab cakes Benedict and softshell crab were perfect!

This is the second time we have eaten here this week. Had to give it another try after a not so good experience the first time. We had the Blackstone and smoked salmon Benedict. They were ok, but the poached eggs were way overcooked again, even after requesting they be cooked correctly this time. The bloody Mary's were one of the better ones I have had in the area. Our server was great. We might give them one more chance when it's not crazy busy from the air show.

Before today I would have given them a 5⭐️….. But on today July 7, 2024 Nope , We had a day out for breakfast here 😞 and A 💥Fly 💥 was in the grits ( The shrimp -Grits). I was disturb 😡 to see this😡😡😡 And the manager wasn’t sympathetic about it at all……😡 So look in your food before eating . I’m very disappointed because I go here every weekend 😡 But I will not go again 👎👎👎👎👎👎 Be Careful Please….Be Aware

Had brunch on Saturday Amanda was our server she was attentive came and checked on us several times food came out hot and perfect down to the fresh coffee she brewed for us

Food I ordered was just ok, it was a bit expensive for breakfast and just not as tasty as I thought it would be for my first time visiting.

Tasty gluten free options! I love that they have a gluten free menu. The goat cheese lemon blueberry pancakes are a personal fav. My husband (not gf) loves their chicken and waffles.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Traveled into town to visit family and wanted to try their shrimp and grits and their lobster omelette. It definitely did not disappoint. Food was amazing. My server Naquel was such a friendly delight. She did an amazing job. I was extremely pleased with my visit. Oh, and their Abe Bloody Mary’s are delicious as well.

Amanda was our server and she was very pleasant and accommodating. She was always around to get us another round of drinks or whatever. Food was delicious and hot. I had the broken chicken sandwich, my friend had classic French toast.

Placed a to go order for my daughter, husband, and I. My whole part of the order was wrong. They forgot my coffee (okay no biggie) so I call to ask to have it taken off my bill. Then I go to eat my omelette, and there’s seafood and sausage in it (it’s a Mardi Gras omelette). I ordered a Monterey Jack omelette. So I call back. The manager agrees to take this off my check. Luckily I’m not allergic to seafood, but I think for the inconvenience I should’ve been offered more than just a refund. Signed, Not a happy customer.

Delicious food and good service

Waited an hour before the waitress finally realized my table had not received our food. After seeing other tables who came in well after me get their food, I finally left. Terrible service. Ruined my mother/daughter brunch date with my littles.

Stopped in while visiting family having Brunch to celebrate our Anniversary. Our server, Jill, was Awesome! My wife said, "That's the best service we have ever had." On top of that the food was outstanding. We are only in town for a week but we will definitely be back while we are here. Great food and great service.

Only gripe was we sat at the bar and waited for near 5 minutes before I stood up and asked someone if they could grab the bartender for us please. Katie (Kate) was awesome from then on out! Super attentive and great service all around.

Went at around 11am they were extremely busy! The wait was only about 10 mins though. The food was hot and very yummy and tasted fresh. We were waiting quite awhile for the food to come after placing the order. But our waiter Sage kept us up to date and kept out coffee cups filled. I got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and grits. It tasted like they make the sausage fresh and the gravy was so so good. I also got a side of two bourbon pancakes which I nearly demolished. So it was a very pleasant experience with excellent customer service. Especially with how busy they were. But let me tell you it was worth the wait!

I ordered online at 745am. It was estimated to be ready at 808am. I arrived and went in at 805am, checked in and was told it would be about 5 mins. I checked again at 820 and was told mine was the next in queue. I got my order at 835am. Meanwhile a couple other people walked in and got their to go order almost immediately so that makes me wonder why. Either way I should not have to wait an extra 20 minutes to get an order that was supposed to be ready. If the time was expected to be longer then they should have adjusted it so that I don't feel forgotten or like someone else got my order and they had to remake it. The food was also luke warm when I checked it before I left so that was questionable as well. I had hungry ppl at home so I wasn't going to wait anymore to talk to someone or whatever. The food is good the wait was ridiculous. If I knew it would have taken that long I would have waited to leave my house.

Went here on my honey moon and after eating the food was maybe a 2/5 I asked if they had a veteran discount and was told they did if I could show ID and I showed my ID and then was told it’s only for active duty or retired military and then she handed the check I handed her with the card to my wife as if I was less. I am appalled that a place that is veteran owned allows people like this to work there, I served my country during wartime and am considered a combat vet. As well as honorably discharged from the USMC and considered retired due to my services. My wife and I will never be eating here again. I was happy to pay the bill and tip the normal 20% which we did I just can not believe that this is how you treat disabled veterans.

I was here today (my first time) with a group of ladies. The shrimp and grits were delicious, and the staff was great! I will be back!

Our waiter was the best, I wish I could remember his name. I will go back anytime as long as he is there!

All I can say is DISSAPOINTED! Half the staff working hard, the other half standing around talking. Horrible body language from management, she was visibly upset with operations and look to take it out on staff and paying customers! Waited an hour to sit and eat, COLD food!

We love another broken egg and were thrilled to find out we had one a short jog from where we live in Pace. The food was on point and our waiter, Nathan was very efficient and pleasant. The manager even brought us out a treat on the house for our anniversary which was totally unexpected. We will be back!

Food here is wonderful, but the fact I can only get the year round pancakes as an add on to a meal is ridiculous. I would love to try the seasonal pancakes as an add on. But I don't want a pancake meal. The servers have said this is a common request they can't ever fulfill

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast with the most delightful server, Rita. Rita was so versed on the menu, she made suggestions and described everything in detail. From the moment we walked in the door it was nothing but professional and very welcoming. We were greeted with a genuine smile by the hostess and then had the same level of professionalism by Rita. The food was delicious! Everything tasted fresh, nothing out of a can. The presentation was very nice. We ordered omelets and grits, and were very satisfied. Our drinks came in adorable mugs with the logo on the them (Rita informed us that we could purchase them in many different colors and 2 different sizes). This being our first visit we were informed about the punch card. A punch for each dining experience (one per visit), collect 10 and a free meal is yours. Excellent service, excellent food and an excellent choice to go to again and again. If you go, ask for Rita, I am sure all the servers are equally great, but I know for sure that Rita is.

Skipped over on the waiting list while standing at the host kiosk after waiting 25 minutes.. When confronted was sat and ignored for 10 minutes. 2nd opportunity. Lost our business for good this time.

The service was great. The food was okay but not great. Apricots pancakes tasted like plain pancakes. I got the Hashbrown Egg Benedict. The eggs were delicious but the hasbrowns under them were over cooked and hard. I moved the eggs and put them on the fried potatoes and it was much better. The prices seem a bit high.

Nice place to eat, was a little let down that it wasn't consistent with the other location in south Pensacola. For a place who prides themselves on Benedicts, the poached eggs were overcooked. The flavors were very good though!

EGGcellent food, I love Broken Egg, I like to try something different every time I go to one. The flavors are amazing and the presentation is beautiful. Makes for a perfect place to have brunch. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Bourbon Street Pancakes were delicious! Fresh fruit actually tasted FRESH unlike some other local breakfast spots. Plenty of parking for the restaurant. The place was packed when my group arrived, BUT there were plenty of servers to cover the demand. It didn't take long to get a table and have our food brought out. Service was very friendly across the restaurant and the vibe of the place was warm and relaxed.

Warm friendly staff, Rita is the BEST! BLT&A and Club sandwiches were great! This experience will be on our thoughts again.

4-20-2024: Not the average breakfast but my Saturday morning extra special treat for myself… best Shrimp & Grits (city style) added a poached egg (probably the best poached egg I’ve ever had (weird to say that was noticeable but it was). Expertly prepared! Also added a side of bacon. Oh and check out the porch… it that time of years when it’s just right to sit outside in the mornings. 5-28-2023: first time to visit this new location. I’ve always been a fan of ABE and their Shrimp & Grits can’t be beat. Today I was in the mood for Eggs Benedict. I ordered the Crab Benedict with side of bacon. Excellent and nice to see the flavors and great dining has not changed from both Pensacola locations. Service is tops as usual 👍

I can’t say enough good things about this place. First we were greeted and welcomed unbelievably, everyone made a special point to say hello because it was our first time. The service was excellent the food was absolutely amazing, prices were great.I was completely blown away our sever Michelle receives two thumbs up! A lot of businesses could learn a thing or two this is how it should be!

This was our first time going! We cane about an hour away! It was pretty good and affordable for what we got! Very fulfilling! May return in the future if we are given the opportunity!

Everything was divine. The smores cold brew was adorable and perfect. The apple fritter French toast was to die for. Not to sweet, definitely did not need to add anything. It was the star of the show.

Rita is fabulous. We called ahead for a table of 9 and we only waited about 15 min. Rita was our server and took care of us! She was friendly, attentive, and made a special dish happen for on of the members of our party. This is our 3rd time dining at the 9 mile location and we have always had a pleasant experience. I absolutely recommend trying if you haven't. They always have a set menu but some offerings change throughout the year!
