I have been there twice. Both times the food was great! I ordered the gyro with plantains.

First time in the area and first time trying pabellon. So why not in an arepa? SMACKS. Food was amazing and love the vibe in here.

AMAZING. Stupid good. I got the Mona Chicken, husband got the Pabellón. Fresh, hot, delicious. The cilantro sauce on the side was perfect for dipping or drizzling.

Very expensive will not recommend it they charge me 12.00 for 6 very small cheese sticks the size of a thumb ..14.00 for 2 juice made from can....not worth it...

Without a doubt the best arepas in Jacksonville. and trust me i have searched long and hard. They are all amazing, you can’t go wrong. A little bit pricey but when you factor in how huge one arepa is, its a legit meal itself, so well worth it. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Not to mention actually Venezuelans. Haven't tried anything besides the arepas because they are so good but I'm sure the other menu items are really good too. Highly recommend.

I love the artwork inside. The food and coffee were both delicious. They have a variety and sodas to choose from as well. There will be a new location opening near Atlantic beach. They do have a free parking lot.

What a fantastic gem in downtown Jacksonville. The Arepas were delicious, steaming hot, and so flavorful. I recommend the Pabellón and the Porko Loco!

I visited it for the first time today and I loved it. They reminded me of those delicious arepas 🫓 that I ate in La Castellana after coming down from Ávila 🫓 I recommend it

The best - las mejores Arepas!! If you are craving Venezuelan food (in my case food from my home country) then THIS is the best spot in Jacksonville. Prices are definitely a little high (not sure why?) Authentic, delicious and super clean. Highly recommend.

A very casual atmosphere, the divine cachapa, and the incredible pabellón arepa, the meat was super soft and the flavor was delicious, my son loved it

Today was my first time trying this place, been meaning to stop by because my coworkers have been going there for quite while now , but anyway I had the “Fancy Monkey Parabello” and the chicken & beef empanadas and it was chef’s kiss baby, amazing!!! 🔥🔥 I will be going back , just started looking for more healthier options and tired of the cafeteria food at my job and this is literally waking distance from my job😍😍🥰🥰👏🏾😩 perfect, will most definitely be back, for sure🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

EVERYTIME I come here I ALWAYS get amazing customer service,& FRESH food. The cashier is so friendly. He always smile and makes sure that you’ve been helped. I LOVE this place! This is one of my favorite places to go to. Please check them out!

Have not made it to the actual restaurant, but both times I’ve ordered delivery I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the food. I knew The Queen was amazing, but my less adventurous family (food wise at least) really liked the roast beef sub and the Philly! They were HUGE as well and I am super impressed. Did forget to take pics but 👏

Food is pretty good, probably great if you're more of a granola-type eater. Gluten free and celiac friendly offerings. Philly steak wrap was good and fresh.

I tried the Queen arepa and it was too much chicken salad inside a small arepa, the service was not the best, we didn't go in, we sat down and no one told us that we had to order at the front.

(POV as a Mexican) First time I go in and my sister needed all the help to choose what to get since there's no pictures in the menu and there was this nice cashier who helped her to choose, she spent like 10 min. helping her, super nice. Now, FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We are definitely going back. I honestly don't remember the names of what we got but my sister got the Queen and two empanadas, mine had a weird name but I got pictures, I am in love with this place I give a solid 10.

I’ve gone to this place 3 times so far and the customer service is always great. Food is delicious. Cute little restaurant. I can never finish all of my food. My favorite is the bowl they have but it’s only for lunch during the week. They should definitely do more bowls!! You should definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already:)

Delicious arepa! I got the Queen and my husband got the jax blonde and they were both delicious! Beautiful artwork on the wall with lighting adding to their intrigue and sooo many avocado plants growing in the window! Perfect temp inside on a hot day and individual bathrooms. Definitely hoping we can go there again on our short trip! They had mimosas on tap!

Good took 45 min to come out, cheese was not even melted, disappointed and most of all expensive. Unfortunately I would not recommend, I ordered dine in but it took so long I changed to take out.

First time visiting the arepas are huge! I got the Mona chicken and substituted the cheese for avacado. The chicken was juicy and the plantain was perfect! I got 2 arepas but one filled me up!

The best arepas ever! My brother and his fam fly in to visit us on the regular and they have a must do tradition of stopping here in the way to St Augustine. The arepas are perfect, Toasty/crunch in the outside and satisfyingly chewy on the inside. They are generous with the fillings! So good.. highly recommended!!

Oh my goodness!!!! The food is AMAZING! Even my daughter who is a picky eater loved it! Their fruit juices are incredible and their food portions are pretty hefty.

I should’ve walked out….We were ignored by the cashier and our fries were put in our salad ewww…My husband and I entered this restaurant around today, June 15th at 1:10, we approached the restaurant ordering area there was only one customer off to the side, who had been waiting for his food. We looked over the menu for a minute and then stood closer to the counter patiently waiting for the restaurant cashier, we were not greeted, and ignored then when a party came in behind us they were greeted, handed a menu and was about to be served ahead of us. The party behind us asked us if we were ready to order. The service SUCKED, and apparent Racist Sorry we disturb your peace !!!

There aren’t a whole lot of options for good food in Jacksonville, so this place is a godsend. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I wish they stayed open an hour later, though as they do close a bit early.

Fresh arepas, made hot to order (keep this in mind for timing). Got the porko loco, however, would like to try different menu items as this left me wanting more toppings. With that being said, healthy sized portion of pork that was succulent and well seasoned. Just wishing I had gotten a dish with plantains after I saw other options coming out of the kitchen. The arepas are also chewy AND crispy. This was appreciated since the meat could have made them soggy, but maintained the perfect texture that I could not get enough of. Love the retro vibe of this cafe. It's fun, up beat, and definitely will be followed up with another visit.

We absolutely love the food here. Incredible flavor on the braised beef and chicken. Arepas are authentic, handmade and delicious. Ingredients fresh. The service is excellent. Kind and thorough employees. We had a big order tonight and the owner made a point to chat and make sure everything was on point. Great compliments from every person we fed (almost 20 people). I enjoyed the atmosphere inside - the only thing I wish was different is some suggestive artwork on the walls. Playboy ads, etc… Not super obvious but also not exactly kid/family friendly for those with small children. We took our food to go so it was all fine. All in all, I highly recommend.

#1 place for Arepas. Quality food service!! I went in just about to close and they took my order no questions asked. I felt i was intruding, so I told them no worries, but insisted in me to order. They prepared it in no time. Totally worth it!

Perfect snack (or meal, depending on what you order). I love the just cheese arepa. Freshly made and the cheese is CHEESING. They're gluten free too, so that’s always a plus for me (I have celiac). Don’t forget to try the fresh juices too!! Delicious.

I lived in Jax for 6 years and this was one of my favorite places to eat. Thankfully I was in Avondale so could go often. I'm vegetarian and appreciate the vegetarian options! I always got the one with avocado, black beans, and maduros.
