A mom and pop restaurant in a small closed knit community should be able to open the door for me 2 minutes before open. I guess they dont care about taking my money. Ill go to little greek from now on.

This is where you want to go. Don't debate it, just go. The shawarma mix platter is some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had in the states! We will definitely be back for more.

This place is run on love, heart and attention to detail. 5 star experience! The food was fresh and home-made, the flavors were phenomenal and the staff were very amicable. The owner is the chef and he really cares about how his food is accepted! We had 2 platters and a gyro which could have easily fed 6 of me or 8 normal people! I would go again just for the ability to feel welcomed...and eat a fresh tzatziki covered gyro!

As we sit here, dining in this little magical place that we happen to stumble along today it has been totally delicious. The owner literally served us and has been treating us wonderfully. My husband got the Shawarma chicken. I got the Gyro chicken we tried the hummus, which is number one specialty. You just have to try it and we will definitely be back.

Affordable fresh made meals,nice cashiers

This place is really a hidden gem, we ordered Falafal, Chicken Souvlaki and Garlic Chicken. Falafal was okay, Chicken was juicy in both the wraps. I really loved Garlic Chicken with spicy sauce (do ask for spicy sauce it’s delicious), and the Tzatziki sauce in Chicken Souvlaki was creamy and delicious with right amount of texture. Loved them all. The only thing i disliked was Fries the seasoning was less and it was tasting bland, I would suggest to put some salt, pepper and season it a bit more. Overall it’s Fantastic. Will be visiting again 😁😌.

Wow! On our way to Jungle Adventures, we stopped here for some food and I could NOT have been more pleased with our selection. We each got a serving of the grape leaves, one veggie and one meat - both were excellent. We got two more servings of the veggie to go!! I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and I think it was the best I have ever had. I am full and SO satisfied with the flavor and quality of this meal. Very generous portions. Do not pass this place up if you are in the mood for Lebanese food! Didn't take more pictures because we gobbled it up so fast.

This place is a hidden gem! Today was our first time visiting, and the food and service were amazing! The portion sizes were huge, and everything was so flavorful. I had the loaded bowl with a gyro/chicken mix. The meat and sauce were delicious, and I took home over half of it because it was so large. My daughter had the chicken quesadilla, which she said was really good. The gryo sandwiches were very large and delicious. We also tried the hummus, which was so smooth and beautifully presented. The man who took our order behind the counter and brought our food out was so kind, and he checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. This was honestly some of the best food I've had since moving to Orlando a year ago. If you haven't tried it yet, go eat there right now!

How have I never been to this place?! It is so good! Got an awesome gyro packed with meat and veggies. Probably one of the best gyros I’ve had in Orlando. I’ll definitely be back.

After searching for eight years to replace our favorite Greek restaurant, my husband and I finally discovered a winner. The gyro bowl was not only delicious and unique, but the owners were sweethearts, good-natured and honorable. We're thrilled to have found our new go-to spot for gyros! Edit: oh and they make EVERYTHING fresh. The humus and Taziki is perfect! 👍 Wish I took pictures but I usually prefer to just enjoy my food. Haha

Out of the 5 or so Mediterranean places we have tried in Orlando this is easily the best. The staff is also friendly and goes out of their way to help you have a great time.

(update May 12 responding to the owner: it was May 8 around 8:40pm. The employee was about 5'11 and had dark features. There's no reason for me to lie. Unless someone is finicking with the camera settings, he definitely didn't want customers inside that day.) Fix the hours! I arrived at 8:40pm on a Wednesday. The website and the print on the door says they close at 9pm. When I arrived, the door was locked and a grumpy employee slashes the air with his hands to imply they're closed. I was pretty confused, so I motioned if I could ask question even though he seemed annoyed to open the door. He tells me they're closed because the kitchen closes at 8:45. Mind you, it's 8:40. I have never seen any business do this. He clearly wanted to get the hell out of work and unfortunately left with me an awful impression. Fix the hours listed to say you guys close at 8:40pm going forward.

Amazing place - I have never experienced so much hospitality and generosity. The food was excellent - the owner Adnan treated us like family - went above and beyond to bring Us (my sister and I ) delicious food directly to our table - can't get over how kind and hospitable they were to us. I am already planning to bring my friends to introduce them to this wonderful little gem in Avalon. Authentic Mediterranean and Lebanese delicacies . I truly felt like I was back home with my family.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. First time here went with a staple Mix wrap. WOW gyro meat was perfectly spiced and the chicken fantastic, super moist. The veggies were crispy fresh and the sauce great. Haven't had all the gyros in Orlando but this is the best so far.

The gyro here is what gyros everywhere aspire to be. The lamb is so tender. The yogurt sauce is wonderfully tangy and delicious. The pita has a tiny crispiness to it that I wouldn’t have expected would be desired, yet it was subtle and takes the entire experience to the next level. I will be back again and again. I’m basically ruined for gyros anywhere else. One of those rare experiences that I would give six stars if that were possible.

Incredible little spot! I came here because I heard they had gluten free options for wraps. The man who took my order was very helpful and the food was delicious! I got the shawarma chicken combo and it was a decent sized serving. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. It is a small restaurant so seating is somewhat limited (about 8 small tables inside) but there are also a few tables outside! Staff also checked on me to make sure everything was good and to see if I needed anything else. Very friendly service!

Halaal and delicious. I like Lebanese food in general so I was delighted when my friend introduced me to this place. I finished everything in our order of lamb, chicken and beef gyro platter. The yellow rice is pure joy. The service is great and the gentlemen were very great at explaining the dishes. I like their various options of drinks. The food is made fresh. Highly recommend! Parking is usually around the back due to location, which maybe the only negative. Still, not a far walk at all.

Honestly, I don’t understand why this place has such good reviews. I wasn’t sure if what they give me was correct and the sauce looked gross! Couldn’t even finish eating the damn thing!! Horrible! Now I feel sick to my stomach and nauseous! I would give it no stars if I could.

Everything was absolutely delicious (I got the gyro and my fiancé got the shawarma, both with fries). The portions were huge and everything was super fresh and tasted amazing! I had the chicken shawarma platter and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was nicely seasoned and super tender, the rice was perfectly rich and flavorful, and the accompanying salad balanced out the dish nicely. The portion was huge! Enough for two people. I was hungry and I still had leftovers. The service was super friendly, fast, and attentive. Raja was behind the counter; he’s the best! I will definitely go back and recommend to friends and family!

This little shop blew our minds! Between 8 dinners we had the Royal Meze, Shrawma platter, souvalki platter, and a mixed kabob platter. Everything was excellent, super fresh, and the shop owners were so friendly! We got a baklava sampler to go and it was some of the very best. Some items not to be missed were the falafel, kibbeh, and baba ghanoush. The feta was fresh and so delicious. The whipped garlic was divine with the tender meats. My children ordered smoothies and it was clear they were freshly made from actual mangoes. Do not under estimate this place! The portions were huge and I cannot express how fresh everything tasted. Do not miss this gem!

My first time trying it and the falafel veggie bowl was the bomb and I even went the second time the next day to eat it for dinner and I really loved it. The quality of the food is great and the people that works there is great.

Their platters, rice, tabouleh, hummus, the amazing pita chips, the garlic sauce,.. everything is always chefs kiss! Desserts transport me to Lebanon! 10/10 Recommend. Even for hours after receiving it (including their seasoned (got nothing on mcd's) fries.) Portions are LARGE even for 2 people. Literally tastes better the second day when heated up. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing in every part of every dish! Served so clean and neatly organized the OCD in me is very very happy and my belly is VERY satisfied with this HIGH VIBE, MADE WITH LOVE IN EVERY BITE, DELICIOUS FOOD! So I wrote a post a couple weeks ago and gave it 3 ⭐, I am taking that back this was my go to place since I've left Michigan because it's like the Arabic food back home, the last time I was there a couple things went wrong and respectfully I should have just talked to the owner, tonight when I went in there he talked to me and tried to give me my money back from last time in which I would not accept, but it shows me he truly does care about his food and business and his food is truly amazing!!!!! The food was ok. It was saltier than expected. I added my own olive oil to the dish, and it tasted so much better on day two. There was a good portion of food. I expected more salad, but it was ok overall. I got the Avalon platter.

I moved here from Michigan about 6 months ago and this is the closest thing I have had from my Arabic cafes and restaurants in Dearborn, tonight however I ordered the same thing I always do a quart of chicken lemon rice soup and the chicken shawarma platter, the platter was just ok and I asked for a extra piece of bread which I did not get, there was a decent amount of chicken and rice but hardly any hummus or salad, it saddens me that I spent over 30 and it was ok

My husband and I came to this little spot last night and the food was excellent very authentic and flavorful, staff very friendly, we even got to meet the cook Danny. Definitely you will be back!

Great little place, FANTASTIC food, a huge portions. The staff was very friendly and offered great service. It's a counter service restaurant, but they also bring your meals to the table, so it feels like a table service establishment.

I love Mediterranean food and I tried almost all the restaurants in the Orlando area and all of them have excellent food but Avalon pocket has that amazing taste . The gyro oh my God. Thank you guys for the excellent food service and atmosphere.
