Stopped in for dinner after a long day of hiking with our little pups - food was AMAZING, service was AMAZING. Probably the best patty melt I’ve ever had, and my husband had the ranch burger which was huge with fresh vegetables-just delicious. Son had chicken fingers which were huge and delicious. Just what we needed after a long and busy day.

My husband and I stopped for lunch and we were both extremely satisfied with the steak sandwich and the burger. Atmosphere was friendly and comfortable.

Great place in a great location

We were going to Sequoia National Park and because of a snowfall we couldn't continue on our way. Luckily we found this place that gave us a good lunch and space to shelter with WiFi! The food is delicious, the lounge has games and music (very typical bar in the United States).

Awesome place, myself and 9 other friends walked in, ordered, food came out instantly and tasted great, friendly employees and friendly patrons, and a billiards table is a welcome sight at any venue.

Fantastic experience! John is so welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious and a great value for the price! This is the perfect casual spot to grab a good, filling meal after the parks.

As a tourist it was really great, the food was great and then we chatted with the bartender for 30 minutes! A really great bar!

My first time here and I loved the rustic atmosphere and the funny signs on the wall. The service was excellent, they even brought a bowl of water for our dog. The burgers were loaded with good stuff, and my husband especially enjoyed the Mushroom Burger. Great place to eat and relax!

Baker Mountain House is a very fun stop in the Badger mountains. Very friendly staff. Love their steak sandwich! Full bar. Indoor & outdoor dining.

I was going to Sequoia national park. This is just in the place where you need a break and get lunch. The owner was friendly and also the services were great. We got fish and chips and chicken egg roll and both were fresh and hot. Trivia: this place will be 100yrs old in 2027

I stopped by here after a tiring weekend at King's Canyon and I am glad that I did. The owner and other guys at the bar were very welcoming and the burger+beer combo was amazing. Would highly recommend!

Went for a drive and stopped in for a bite. We ordered the house special which was steak sandwich covered in mushrooms, onions, on fresh baked ciabatta bread, served with fries. This sandwich was cooked to perfection and the fries were crisp not soggy. Loved it, it was delicious and we can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu.

We were a group of 4 with a baby, traveling from Paris to visit the sequoia national park and were looking for a restaurant for lunch. We decided to try the place out and we were pleasantly surprised to have experienced an authentic typical American dining experience. We were welcomed really well by the manager who gave us recommendations for what to order. We had starters and the rib eye steak with eggs each. The meat sourced from a local ranch was just delicious..tender and well served. Overall the experience was unique and definitely the best overall during our stay near sequoia national park.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was extraordinary. We had some great appatizers, the 3lb. Tomahawk steak, and an A&W rootbeer float for dessert. Topped it all off with a shot of Don Julio 1942. It was perfect!

REALLY enjoy the new Mountain House. John and Rebecca are lovely hosts. The steak sandwich was A.MaZ.Ing. great drive from Fresno.

Steak sandwich is the best I've ever had! Tender, juicy steak and amazing ciabatta bread! Veggies or fries are the sides!

Great spot to take a break in a day spent in the mountains and foothills. After running up through Whittaker's Forest looking over the burn damage, it was nice to have a warm welcome, a hot burger and a cold beer. The view from the deck was a perfect finish to the day. Looking forward to our next visit.

Where there aren’t any restaurants on highway 245 you will find this place a must stop to grab some food. Many motorcyclists you can see stopping by. The prices are high and thats why a 4 star. Extra price for cheese, extra price for veggie patty despite of replacing the meat with veggie patty.

Went up to Badger, Ca for a "no technology" kind of cleansing weekend. It was amazing to be 48 hours detached. Thanks to The Baker mountain house and the cody canyon raunch. My group had a remarkable time! Will be back again. The food was fantastic and the shots. Magnificent

Food was good, but not the reason. Why I left a 5 star review. My daughters and I went in this evening and the hospitality was amazing. Everybody there makes you feel like part of the family. It's a hidden gem wedged between the foothills on the 245. To our surprise there was snow all over, we took dry creek road all the way from 216 and it was such a beautiful drive. For all you motorcyclist take that drive, it is amazing. Thank you guys for the amazing experience

The food is excellent, I love the deck in back for outside dining. Great service the people that work here make sure you are happy. Also a favorite place to relax and drink a cocktail and chat with locals or meet new visitors to the area. Always a good time.

We had such a great time up at Bakers Mountain House this weekend. They have done an incredible job remodeling and the pizza was delicious!! The best part was talking with John - that boy is some kind of special!! We will be back!

Good food and great atmosphere. Motorcycle destination by far. Great ride no matter what your on or in. If you're driving up look out for motorcycles. And if you're riding look out for cows and cars.

Exactly as advertised. A mountain retreat on a private road with an amazing view of the lake. Pretty much right down the road from the entrance to a national park. Ambience made even better by decades old picture of Chinchilla breeders from the 1930's or 40's based on garb. Highly recommend for those escaping the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Great food, wonderful outdoor dining! Wait staff is very personable and cares if everything is okay. John is wonderful, he stops by our table several times to check to see if things are satisfactory. Haley is sweet and does a wonderful job waiting tables and taking care of the customers as well! People need to be patient with the wait staff and cooks. Governor Douchbag has put so many unrealistic regulations on restaurants that it makes it very difficult to run a business! There is limited seating space, so if you notice people waiting, please be courteous, eat your meal, pay your bill and leave so that those that are waiting can be seated and enjoy a wonderful meal like you just did.

Delicious burgers! My husband and I stopped here on our afternoon drive. We split the mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings. It was delicious. The beer was cold and refreshing. It is dog friendly. My doggie ozzy bear had a great time too because they made him a burger patty! They do that for all the dogs that come in and if you have children, they get a free candy bar! So cool. So laid back and relaxing. We will definitely bring our friends, family and furr babies back !

Excellent food!!! The staff are friendly and helpful. Whenever I take a drive to the mountains I love to stop here for lunch. The mushroom burger and onion rings are my favorite. The Badger Mountain House is the perfect place to stop, have lunch and enjoy the atmosphere. You won't regret it!
