They mean it, they are better burgers. These give me life and haunt my dreams. I need one of these atleast twice a week, absolutely delicious. The staff is always so sweet. If you're thinking of trying it, pull on in or call ahead if you're in a rush.

Today was my first time trying Bev’s and I was blown away with the quality of the food and service. It is so clear to see why they have many thriving locations! I ordered a double cheeseburger and okra with a jumbo sweet tea. I’ve been wanting a burger that had an authentic homemade taste and I was not disappointed! Then to be able to have okra instead of fries really is unique and sets them apart from everyone in my eyes! The burger was phenomenal the okra was fresh and delicious the sweet tea was thirst quenching. I will absolutely visit regularly and gladly spend the $16 supporting them over tired fast food chains. I pray they continue to see success and I will be highly recommending them to any and everyone!

There are many local drive thru hamburger stands in northern Florida. All have a slight variation on the double cheeseburger ‘all the way’. Bev’s is one of the best. Located in the middle of Florida’s cave country - this is a must stop after diving.

I guess I won’t get to rate the food, the very polite service staff guy that came to the window told me they were closing soon and would not be able to take my order. I checked the time and they close at 7:30 and it was 7:20. I guess it’s my boomer expectations kicking in, I kind of expected them to take orders until they are actually closed.

Great burgers, made fresh to order (always juicy), and the fries are ALWAYS fresh & hot. My orders are always made correctly, AND the requested condiments, etc., are always in the bag. The staff are always patient and friendly.

Sarah took our order and she just made our day, she interacted with us as if we were old friends even those we had never met before. Yes the prices are high but that may not be Bev’s fault, the cost of living is going up everywhere. The wait for the food was well worth it, I got the double double with a large fry and chicken nuggets and it was all 10 out of 10! Home style cooking that does not disappoint. I would recommend this as a “must stop at” when you’re in the area, I know my wife and I certainly will be coming back here.

First time there and got corn nuggets and funnel cake fries. Both were really good, next time I'm in the area I will definitely come back.

I’ve been to Bev’s several times when we are in the area working. Hands down great burgers, great fish sandwiches, and orka. This is the first time in two years we had an issue. Ordered three fish sandwiches (one with cheese, lettuce, light tartar sauce; two fishes sandwiches with tartar sauce and orka). We head down the road to discover no tartar sauce. I called and spoke with manager who says she remembers the order and there was tartar sauce 🧐. I didn’t ask for anything and didn’t ask for a free meal. A sorry and put a $1.00 for you next time you stop would have been nice. Stuff happens. Lesson learned… ALWAYS check order before you pull away just like McDonald’s. Other than that food is amazing.

The best burgers in the state of Florida!!

I've eaten here twice and both times was poorly disappointed. Prices online are completely wrong. Photos make it look like you get way more food then you actually do. Tiny burgers, not even tasty. Would rather drive an extra twenty minutes then come back here. Got a malt that said large, would be a medium at every other place, and online the price says 3-4$. When I showed up the menu said 5.50. looks like a good spot, but I won't go back.

Burger and fries were excellent!

They have the best burgers in town but only if you like medium rare(which i love) otherwise try chompers for more thoroughly cooked burgers. Their ingredients for the burgers are generally fresh and the burgers are pretty pure no complaints..every other menu item is basic fastfood and i wouldnt recommend - frozen fries, frozen onion rings, syrup-based shakes. The food is better at this location I think than their sit-down location up the street, fresher from more traffic it seems like

Literally the best burger I’ve ever had!! So juicy and cooked to perfection, and the chicken nuggets are 100x better than McDonald’s! Make sure to tip the ladies at the window!

Great service in the order, take your money drive through part. Line moved decent till my turn. 1 hamburger all the way, that's it. Burger was cold when finally got it. Lettuce, tomato, onion n mayo only. No salt or pepper. Definitely not worth 5.81$ with tax for a small measly looking burger! Took 15 minutes to get it from order to receive! Knowing what I do now about high springs the entire staff is probably on fentanyl and meth. Sad state of affairs for such a great possibility town but that explains why it's minimum wage everywhere pretty much n always looking for new help no matter what place you go! Btw even the cops do those drugs and even protect the local drug dealers!

Great old Florida hamburger joint. Used to get burgers here as a kid growing up in High Springs.

I've driven by this place so many times over the years and have never stopped. This time, we just moved to High Springs and closed on our house and moved and were starving, so we gave it a try. The burgers are awesome and the onion rings were great too. I told the nice lady that we just moved and I didn't have any catsup yet and I love catsup and she gave me a small bag of packets. I was so happy!! We will definitely go back. Thanks for the great food and service on our first day of living in High Springs.

This is a family owned drive thru restaurant specializing in hamburgers. The hamburgers are delicious and made fresh with your choice of topings. Great fries and a lot of other delicious sides. Service is quick and friendly with very competitive prices. This place is very popular so there can be a wait to order. Its worth the wait, stay in your vehicle, and chill out to your favorite music.

I'm pretty sure my toddler, myself, and husband got really bad food poisoning after eating here last week. Burgers looked cooked at first sight, but even my "well done" burger was raw in some places. My toddler's was almost completely raw after seeing his first (and last) bite. Used to love it here, but I'm not sure what has happened.

Used to love this place until last few orders we recieved raw burgers. Even ordered well done yesterday and got 2 dark red cold patties. Not sure what's going on but we won't be back.

Everything about this little hidden diamond in the rough is AMAZING. If you've never had a Bevs burger, stop reading this, get in your car, and drive (idc how far it is for you. Trust me, it's worth it) and go get yourself a double meat/double-double and fries. It's literally the best burger anyone in the entire world has ever made. I have the honor of being a native of high springs, FL, where 1 of their 2 locations is, and I've eaten these burgers my whole life (48 years) It's had different names, but the burgers stayed the same. So freaking good! D@mmit... Now I've gone and made myself hungry, and Bevs won't be open by the time I can get there..... Do it now! 🤣

Prices are extreme for two simple meals of burgers with one side of fries and one of onion rings ($29 + $6 tip). Burgers were tasteless, onion rings were okay, but not exceptional, fries were beyond excellent, so, there's that. We were never asked what we wanted on our burgers, so thought "all the way" would suffice. It didn't. They arrived without certain condiments, but with others we didn't want, but the waitress was so unfriendly, we decided not to make anymore requests of her. There were no drink size options, just two giant drinks in styrofoam cups (1,000 years to break down in a land fill). The surly waitress was put out when, not three minutes after placing our order, I suddenly remembered I hadn't asked for my burger to be done medium rare. I flagged her down and politely made my request. She didn't even attempt to hide her irritation. She huffed, turned on her heels and marched back to the kitchen to inform the cook, and apparently, us, she was not happy. Not once did she stop at our table to ask if we needed anything, not once did she even smile. I'd say she was racist, but we're white. We were extremely nice, but that didn't work either. I understand there must have been extenuating circumstances. Possibly Bev was mean to her, she'd definitely had a huge lunch crowd, her feet probably hurt, and she may have had a row with her partner or children that morning, or some other issue, all of which are real and unpleasant, all of which I'm sorry for, but none of which are our fault. We wish now we'd gotten Quarter Pounders With Cheese.

Originally I gave this restaurant high marks for their burgers, while still amazing in taste, they have become child-size and the prices almost doubled. The rest of their food is fine as well. Still a good place to eat.

Here me out.... This was the 1st American taste experience that my Indian pallette indulged in and it will take some time to adjust to the food. The service although was pretty quick and we got our orders in a jiffy.

1 of the best damn burger I had

I used to love Bev's, but they have taken a huge plunge in service, over-all quality of their burgers and fries, and atmosphere. So much so that I no longer drive there from Gainesville (25ish minutes away). First, they started putting fries in the bottom of a bag. Who wants squished and soggy fries? Second, burgers have changed. Sometimes they're small and thick, while other times they're skinnier (and in my opinion, the better option). Doesn't sound like much of a deal until you consider the cooking variances and bun size. Consistency is important here. Third, do something about the roaches. I get it's Florida, but Jesus people. They're controllable...you just have to pay for it. No one wants roaches flying onto their table to join the meal. I don't share my food. Get some fly traps, they're effective. That's my feedback. I'm not going to stop going totally, but like I said...I'm not driving there just for "Bev's" like I used to.

The food was a throwback to another era, when burgers were done by hand, and cooked over an open flame. The fries were cooked to a golden color and served hot 🔥 Last, but in my opinion, the best part is their hand spun shakes. Malted Hot Fudge was absolute perfection. Can't wait to be in that neck of the woods again!

I have went to Bev’s in high springs two different times and something was wrong with my food the first time missing a patty second time hair in my food I ask them why they don’t wear hair nets they say cause they don’t have to but to reassure the customers u should just wear one so things like this don’t happen ppl like me travel a ways to eat from u all and u have a nasty attitude cause I need a refund and then u short change my refund at that….!!!!

Burger was good expensive though and somewhat small. But it was obviously hand made so fresh not prepattied frozen meat. All ala cart so fries and drinks add up. Paid 7 for a normal cheeseburger. Beats mcdonalds and fast food chain food

Went at 5:22pm and they were closed, unlike what the times on here say. Maybe they’re understaffed? My boyfriend and I were really excited to try this place as it was highly recommended, so we’re really bummed and hungry.
