Everyone is so pleasant and we love their food.

This place is great for a quick bite. We got the BBQ club sandwich. The meat was tender and the BBQ sauce was sweet and smokey. The burgers are also recommended there. Very friendly service.

Not eating Breakfast there again till they get a cook that knows how to properly cook HASHBROWNS always soggy half cooked barley browned on one side flipped for a few seconds Slapped on plate I enjoy eating there most food is good last time my Breakfast was cold........ other people ordered after me served first

Bev's is real nice. Their food is basic diner food. It's gotten a little pricey lately but so has every restaurant. You have to remind your wait staff about a few things at times.

First let me give a quick shout out to Sandy for a great experience!! We stopped in here one very hot afternoon to grab a quick bite and 🍺. I was in the area visiting family and an old friend who was in Florida. My friend wanted to sit outside since he gets loud and sometimes uses profanity. 😁 Thank goodness they have large fans to help keep the screened patio a wee bit cooler than 100 degrees. It took a minute to get waited on but we arrived during lunch which is one of their busier times. Not much in this area to eat so keep that in mind if you aren’t a local. Food and drinks came out quickly. Two of us got the bacon cheeseburger and fries and they were spot on! The menu has a lot of other options and the bbq looked delish even though I didn’t order that. Our waitress, Sandy, was great. She had the best personality and fit in well with my little crew. Everyone we encountered that worked here were very friendly and welcoming and that makes a difference to me. I will be stopping in when I am in the area so I can try the bbq next time. 😎 I definitely recommend you stop in if you’re in the area for some home cooked food and to meet great people.

I've tried for a week to call. They never answer the phone. If someone does they pickup and hang up on you without saying anything.

Friends took us here for lunch. Wish we had gotten the fish sandwich like they got as it looked amazing. Big, thick, flaky white fish on a bun that was half the size of the fish. I got a patty melt that was so greasy, the bottom piece of rye bread was soaked in fat. The onion rings were pretty good. Hubby got the bar B Q club which was just plain awful. He gave me a small piece of the bacon that was on it and I had to spit it out. There was so much garlic on it I couldn't even swallow it. He politely ate a small portion of it and brought home the rest which met the trash can upon our arrival. Both of our lunches were absolutely gross and not edible by our standards. We will decline another visit next time, or opt for the fish which did look very good. Atmosphere and clientele were what you'd typically expect considering where it's located. Prepare to be underwhelmed by the whole experience. The service, however was really pretty good!

The food was served hot and everything was amazing! I wish I were there right now! The fried gizzards are tender & delicious and not greasy at all.

Always have been a favorite place of mine. The food is very good, especially the burgers! My kids LOVE their grilled cheese! Service is always quick and staff are always nice and welcoming. Breakfast and lunch/dinner are good. Fresh and homemade food.

the lady at the register was very patient with my questions pertaining to my takeout order, i decided on two cheeseburgers w/ fries for me and my lady (which were delicious) and an order of fried livers for myself (they're even more delicious, honest)🙂

If your looking for a place to eat with the family this is the place. Food is delicious, service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. Burgers here absolutely delicious, I give this place a 5/5 rating.

Long few days at Genni springs........ the heavens appeared in the name of Bevs burger Cafe. What a treat from the camp to civilization lol. Waitress decked out in red hat clothing took care of my wife and I. What a catch phrase" why limit yourself" Country fried steak home fries and a Pancake. A fat man's dream. My wife ordered another country fried steak for the side. What a great experience on all ends of the earth.

Good BBQ. Good sides. Casual. Busy even on a Tuesday (that is a good sign). Have beer and wine if you want. Nice folks too. Outside seating if you want.

We live in Lake City, and we go to Gainesville, VA, every 2 weeks. We look forward to taking 441 back to Lake City and having lunch at Bev's! If you're in the neighborhood, stop by! We do!

Loved everything about this place!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch of burgers and sweet Arnold Palmers, while sitting in the screened porch with my husband. But the sweetest part was our excellent server Sam! She was cheerful, polite, professional, and wonderfully efficient…Thank you!!

If you're from out of town, you have to have a Bev's burger. They are awesome!!! Enjoy 🍔

Great food great service and simple

My first time going it did not disappoint me its a 10/10 for me.

My husband and I stopped in to get a quick bite and started with gizzards. Not editable, and the ones that were on the plate were what appeared to be rare. I ordered the bbq club, and it was absolutely horrible. My husband ordered a burger, and let's just say you could play hockey with the patty. Let's just say that was our last time here.

Food was simply not good. BBQ BLT was dry, served luke arm, and was extremely tough. The hamburger bun swallowed the burger. The burger had no taste or seasoning. Significantly overpriced burger when I can get a full pound down the road for $16.99. Service was just as bad as the food. Slow inattentive, and the only thing that mattered was her cell phone. Had to ask for drink refills, silverware, etc. Don't waste your time!

Chicken caesar salad tasted strongly of lard, which they must have used for cooking the chicken pieces. Glad I didn't try to eat much of the chicken as I now have indigestion. Hubby's chicken tenders also tasted of lard. At least the lettuce was fresh.

Good food and very friendly service

Bev's Burger Cafe has been my go-to place when I want a good burger but even now they've upped their game by offering a 23 Oz ribeye steak and on Fridays they offer a very delicious Bowl of clam chowder that I will go 23 miles out of my way on Friday to stop and get a bowl of that clam chowder which a lot of times they're out of in any case Miss Beverly has surrounded herself with some very good staff that are super friendly and outright customer oriented it's nice to go to a restaurant where the people know your name and remember your name they don't see you as just a number they see you as a person

Great food, don't forget to try the appetizers, broccoli cheddar bites were so good. Great food , great prices. Friendly staff.

If you’re in the mood for Burgers and good home cooked Country Food, this is your place. Fast, convenient and reasonably priced. The Gizzards, Corn Nuggets and Hush Puppies are delicious! Waitress was super nice!

Huge portions of pure deliciousness. This visit, hubby had the fried fish sandwich with fries, and I had the Super BLT with fries.

For the waitress, Carla: please don't speak ill of disabled children & adults. I could hear you. I am deeply hurt after overhearing your derogatory comments about my children who are autistic & did nothing to hurt anyone or disturb anything. I love Bev's food. I highly recommend it. But, my family didn't deserve that. I'm leaving this review because I was denied access to the manager/owner to discuss this with them.

Today my husband and I ate at Bev's Burger Cafe for the first time and were more than well pleased! My husband claimed his cheeseBurger was exceptional and so was my Onion Ring Burger with cheese and bacon! The onion rings tasted very yummy! And to top it off, the waitress: friendly, helpful and fast!!

Our waitress was superb. The food was very good, very filling, and very good sized portions. I had an omelet, perfect cooking done on it. We were a large group, at breakfast rush hour. Bev's was definitely up to the task of serving good food timely and well. Highly recommend.

First and last visit yesterday morning.

Shout out to you guys. I wanted to post this to your page, but couldn't find an option to. I've lived in newberry for 5 years now. I see we are getting a beds in town. I was in high springs yesterday and went to try you guys out. I actually came back again today. It was one of the best breakfasts I've had in years. For two days in a row, I came around 10 am. Ordered 2 egg breakfast fried hard. Home fries, white toast l, with local sausage link. A side of bacon and a side of corned beef hash. Ate 90% of it two days running. If I am in the area tomorrow I will ve stopping by again. Got a new favorite breakfast spot now. Can't wait for the newberry location to open.

Very disappointed! They just let me walk away, refused to serve me breakfast due to 10 minutes. I've been coming here for a while too. Lost my business!$

Don't order the smoked turkey. There was no smoke or flavor to it at all. I got thin sliced deli turkey, should have been thick sliced SMOKED turkey. Don't order the onion rings. The breading was raw in the middle. The corn bread was cold, I don't like cold corn bread. Won't be going back.

Perfect place for a family dinner without breaking the bank. They're known for their burgers, but they also have other sandwiches and of course sides such as onion rings, jalapeno poppers, and corn nuggets. The burgers are locally famous. They're not your average bland burger you get on lunch break, and you can get a full meal for around $10 - $15. They also have a drive-thru only location just down the road from this one. Highly recommend.

Nice small restaurant. Food was amazing! My husband says he is a burger connoisseur and rates Bev’s Burgers 9.5/10. They are handmade smash burgers cooked to perfection.

Most of the time, I guess they were short of help and the waitresses were in a bad mood. Not they took it out on any customers but knew they were upset. They were not to quite about it, food is always good and service is 98 % good.

Made to order deliciousness! Loved the burger. Onion rings crispy and the shakes come in a variety of sizes - a small chocolate shake was too good we needed a second one.

This place was recommended to us and we were not disappointed at all. Their burgers were super delicious and the beef was pure and clean.

Super friendly atmosphere and highly recommended by the locals. The slice pork was out of this world. We also had a mushroom burger that was incredible.

Extremely friendly staff! Food is a bit plain and basic, nothing fancy, but it's perfect for a good quick home style meal. Arrived to the table very fast and our waitress was extremely welcoming and personable.

Went tubing at Ichetucknee Springs and stopped by Bev's for some burgers and drinks. The food was simple and delicious. The covered porch was a life saver. Last but not least, wonderful service. Would recommend Bev's to anyone.

Taya, Carla and Leila are always super sweet. Kenny the cook definitely knows how to throw down in the kitchen. Always hot and super friendly experience when we go in here. Definitely suggest the all you can eat BBQ it's better then sonny's since the take over for sure.

This place is locally owned and known for a place the locals eat each day. I had breakfast and it was fantastic. Single pancake with bacon was the perfect choice. I am confident they have other great food at lunch as well.

Food was amazing, came out quick, very hot.. the onion rings wore almost as good as they are at Stafford motor speedway in Stafford Connecticut...

Bev's Burger Cafe has a decent array good without feeling overwhelmed with the options. They have BBQ, burgers, wings and much more. Food is good at a reasonable price. Service is a hit or miss mainly due to a select few servers.

I've been on a personal mission to find the best burgers in North Central Florida. I haven't been everywhere yet, of course, but I've been to quite a few places between Lake City, Gainesville, and Starke. So far, Bev's in High Springs is the best cheeseburger around. To compound the pleasure, every dish my husband and I have ever had there has been really good, and all of the staff are terrific folks.

If you like the typical greasy spoon, and I do, this place is for you. Great burgers and country cooking.

The chicken ceaser salad was a nice size and tasty...service was great! Reasonably priced...if in the area will go again!

We've been here several times and are never disappointed. They put gravy on things we've never had gravy on before, like meatloaf and liver and onions, but it's really good gravy 😋 The menu is great: lots of options, but not overwhelming. The staff are all very pleasant and friendly, without being overbearing. We go out of our way to eat here and enjoy it every time.

I usually get a carryout order at least once a week. I always love the food, typically a burger and a sweet tea for me. Everyone who works here is friendly and awesome, even when it's busy and stressful, everyone always has a smile on. Best little local place to eat.

AMAZING BACON EGG AND CHEESE BISCUIT!

Bev's is a staple you gotta hit if you're in High Springs. The service is always great, and the burgers are all American smash burgers. Can't go wrong with a double cheeseburger the way they serve em up!

10 out of 10 highly recommend!! I had the Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It was fantastic!! I could not have asked for better. Some little mom n pop places have ok food, and great service. This place has great service and great food. Full of flavor!! I will be a regular at this place for sure!
