I'd give this place a rating of a 3P - Piss Poor Pizza. Crust was dried out, sauce was sparce and had a weird spoiled taste and just a smattering of cheese. The guys were nice but we won't be back.

Coming from NY, I found it difficult to find true, authentic NY style pizza. That is until I found Big Apple in Jensen Beach! Amazing flavor, and wonderful customer service. I’ve tried the rest, and Big Apple is truly the best!

Heard there were different owners again. Tried their pizza it was terrible. Will not go back. Miss the old big apple pizza it was much better.

Well all I can say is yesterday Saturday April 29th we went and ordered a Large pizza with 2 toppings. We usually get really good pizza with toppings we can see. But the one we got was so skimpy on toppings it tasted like dough and sauce. I kept asking my husband if his had meat and cheese. We didn't say anything but it was pretty expensive for what we got. Don't know if we will go back. It use to be out go to pizza spot. Sad

Not sure what was more amazing, the owners’ hospitality or the incredibly perfect Brooklyn pizza. Been coming here for years but the new owners have taken this place to a whole other level. Food is excellent across the board and specials are priced great! Not many family owned AND operated businesses left sadly, so it’s extra special when you find such a gem.

Great service and AMAZING pizza!!

New owners are just the nicest bunch of people! By far the best antipasto salad around! Love the homemade dressing that comes with it. Pizza was also great and cooked well just the way we like it. We've been here several times and never had a bad meal.

Great NY style pizza. Thin and Crispy, good tasting sauce. I definitely recommend stopping by. There service was also amazing and my son tried the Philly steak sub and said it was amazing.

Absolutely fantastic! My wife ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, it was a huge plate and she was amazed at how scrumptious it was, it also came with a great garden salad and a uniquely delicious house dressing (a must try … purchased a bottle to take home). I ordered the WORKS pizza, unbelievably delicious NY pizza at its finest! Probably the best pizza I ever had! Prices are more than reasonable on the entire menu, staff is extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. Hats off to Rick …doesn’t take long to figure out he’s just a great big hearted guy ! We will definitely be frequenting the Big Apple during our Jensen Beach winter vacation. This has been our favorite restaurant experience in the Jensen Beach area by far.

The pizza is terrible now, super doughy not enough sauce. Went once and haven’t been back!!

This is an A rated pizzeria! The new owners go out of their way to make sure you’re satisfied. The food is superb! The pizza tastes exactly like an authentic New York pizza with the most delicious crust! My son can’t get enough of their spaghetti and meatballs. I love the family atmosphere at this pizzeria and I will definitely return!

Woman how answered the phone would Not let me talk. Talked to me like I was impared. I apologized for bothering her and hung up. I was disappointed but I will all another one who will appreciate my money. The woman did keep talking over me. I explained that i got the menu from Google. She then said her son was handing social media, but had not taken the old menus down. 3 years ago I lived on BAP due to a shattered knee cap. The food was Ok and I was a 20% tipper. I tried to order that night after my roommate told me new owners, better food and standards. I live less then 1 mile from the store. I was annoyed after the confusing conversation i had with the woman manning the phones. I also am very willing to take review down. Balls in your court.

This restaurant is under new ownership. It family owned by local family originally from New York. I had the eggplant stack delivered. Absolutely delicious and a generous portion. I highly recommend Big Apple Jensen Beach!

Everything was amazing! The pizza is truly NY style~ perfect amount of sauce and cheese! My daughter loved her ceasar chicken wrap! We will make this a regular stop! I can’t wait to try the pasta!!!

I have been there four times and every time I've been there it's gotten better and their new owners trying to make it and they really go out of their way to make people enjoy their food so if you're looking for a good place to eat I suggest you try that one night you'll be more than satisfied I'm sure

The pizza was horrible. I asked for a pepperoni extra crispy. What I got was a cold doughy pie. Very disappointed in Big Apple Pizza I know of no worker in your establishment. I don't even live in this county. I'm in PSL.

Since Rich and wife took over the location in the past year, the food is phenomenal and the people are even better! They really took on a big job getting this place back in shape and have exceeded all hopes! Can’t rave enough.

If you're going to invent ingredients on a Hawaiian pizza, warn a guy first. Hawaiian means ham and pineapple, that's it. I'd expect a pizza place to know that.

Finally Big Apple back in Jensen Beach!! I take my 2 and 5 year old often bc it’s easy and the kids actually love it so much they ask for seconds. Richard and Kathy, the owners run the shop with their sons and they treated us like family. They are easy going and hard working. Food is delicious and not over priced. Pizza is just the way you expect it.

This was my first visit to BIG Apple Pizza, I had a meatball sub and my wife had a cheese steak sub, we both were super happy with our sandwiches. While there I talked to Rich who is the new owner, he told me he makes his own marinara sauce and it was awesome, it's definitely home made. I'll be going back . RGB.

I went in today and had the chicken parm sub. Chicken was tender and the sauce had good flavor. Glad to see the food is back to where it should be.

It was our first time eating here at Big Apple Pizza in Jensen Beach. And we had a great experience!! The owner and his wife are very nice, very personable and make sure you have an amazing experience. He even went the extra step to cut our slices of pizza twice for our nieces and even served it to us personally. It's not very expensive either. It's the perfect spot! Thank you so much for a great experience.

New owners know how to make a NY pizza! I'm from Brooklyn and this is hands down the best (NY Style) pizza in the area. The owners are super nice and go out of their way to make your experience very enjoyable. We had the large pep pie. Amazing!

This place is a joke. I'm pretty sure the same people who ran big apple have brought the terrible service with a new name. No consistency. One day you'll get good service and good food and the next day it's awful with terrible service. It's pretty sad. Seems like being a small town restaurant would be great service. A joke.

Some of the rudest employees I’ve dealt with in Jensen Beach. Would not recommend ever calling in an order. We ended up not even getting our order.

The new owners are from Brooklyn & Long Island and the pizzas are as good as we used to get back up north. You want to eat the crust because it tastes the way it should. And the slices are big and foldable. If you’ve tried them before, ya gotta try them under the new management!

My family and I was the only ones in the restaurant when we ordered 15 minutes later people started coming in and everyone else who ordered 20+ minutes after us got there food than try to blame everything else but take blame and fix it I would not recommend this place especially for peoples of color it was very obvious I was upset and hurt bc my baby was crying for pizza bc she was hungry while other families were eating do not come here horrible service

I have been eating pizza and cheese steaks for 25 years here. Chuck now is yhe head chef. He makes the most tender cheesteak i have evrr had. Peppers onions and shrooms cooked to perfection, not hard. Best cheese steak i evrr experienced and i grew up in NJ and Philadelphia. Also excellent pizza. Perfect

I was disappointed because I asked for Mayo and they put on Mustard.Which I don't liked.This was right after they opened too.Dissapointing for my first order😞😞

Not my first time, been here before. Never had service this bad. I ordered the veal Parmigiano, they gave me baked ziti. When I said something about it, they said that's what I ordered. The fountain soda hardly had any syrup, they said that's how their soda was. Never coming back to this place.

Perfect crust, amazing toppings, lots of cheese. The sausage on the pizza is unlike I have had in my life and I adore it. You can get a large pie and eat it for days. Wish there was more sauce on the pizza, or maybe it had a little more “oomph,” but that’s not enough to detract from the positives. Next time I’ll get a side of the sauce! With pizza places like this, I’m amazed people even bother with the big chains.

We came in kinda late and the staff was still very kind and understanding! This was our first time trying and we will definitely be back!!!! The food was excellent

Excellent spot to grab a simple cheese pie for take-out. Great garlic knots too. The staff are always friendly (and remember me!), their estimates for completion are right on time. The consistency of the pizza can vary from time to time (presumably with whoever is making them that day), but it's only ever been the crust for me, and it's never made the pizza unenjoyable.

Big Apple never disappoints. You can get delivery without an app. Thanks Big Apple!

Came in randomly with my wonderful wife. Service was great the folks here are super nice, the food was delicious and the sauce, my wife never like red sauce and absolutely loved it! Seriously come eat here! We are coming back!

Pizza is really good but boy they are cheap with their toppings you pay upwards of twenty dollars and pay for topping and hardly get them they are cheap

They have the best spinach rolls around. They really should consider making more than the 2 or 3 they make every day. If you dont get there early for lunch you won't get any 😞

Sever is nice.. But the cooks always get an additude. Me n my buddy waited til they opened and werw greeted with a smug look and anger that we came in right at open. Wanted to dine in.. Decided to take it togo felt so uncomfortable.. Not the 1st time theyve been rude..cold beer .. Pizza was tastey at least.. Just a simple large pep.. Sorry for givijg you all my biz.

Honestly some of the best pizza in town! Atmosphere is great inside the restaurant, but you really can’t beat they’re delivery staff. Food always come fast and is always hot! Can’t reccomend Big Apple enough!

Ordered pizza and ot it paper thin. I think that's the point and it tasted great but you will probably eat more than you usually do. I ate an extra large myself, by comparison I eat a medium dominos pizza. With that in mind it's a bit expensive but tasty good. If you are staying at a nearby resort and looking for delivery pizza this is a decent option
