Some DC restaurant you just can’t go wrong with! The seafood is fabulous and the oysters are amazing!! There are an array of menu options and everything is out of the ocean fresh. I was looking for a good lunch burger and even though I was tempted to order some seafood, I stuck to my guns and had the amazing angus burger. I did have three oysters that were fanatic. The bread snd cornbread were also very good. They have an extensive wine selection, knowledgeable staff and top of the line seafood choices. The seating offers spacious booths, tables and plenty of bar seating. I also enjoyed the apple cake ala mode and it was delicious

I've visited Blacksalt many times for dinners and happy hours, and I’ve always enjoyed their oysters. Recently, I tried their brunch, and it was delightful. The combination of eggs, seafood, and cornbread was simply delectable. I'd highly recommend giving it a try, and I'm looking forward to going again.

Wow, The Mussels, Tuna, Salmon apps were delicious. Main coarse had the Fish Tacos & Burger. Perfectly cooked and very tasty.

While the food was excellent, I was disappointed to find they charge a 4% fee to use a credit card. This is ridiculous for a high end restaurant that averages $100/person. And they put the credit card fee above the tip line as if we are expected to tip on tax and their credit card fee.
