Salt and more salt could not taste the pizza. Pepperoni with chesse times 2 at 12" each. 40 bucks and all you can taste is salt. What a shame. Wouldnt even bother wrighting a bad review if it wasnt for the over abundance of salt. A completly ruined pizza. Can not recommend.

What a lovely place. The staff could not be more warm or inviting. Truly a wonderful group of folks. I have a dairy allergy and when Tianna, our server, informed me thar they have a vegan cheese I honestly was happily surprised. My pizza with fake cheese was delicious. The crust is incredible, the sauce and toppings are fresh light and when they put them all together, they produce a masterpiece. If you are passing through Micanopy and your stomach starts to growl, stop at Blue Highway Pizza to quiet your stomach. You will not be disappointed. Tell Tianna that I said, "Hi!"

The server was excellent. Got a micanopy salad. Probably one of the best salads I've had. Great home made dressings. I've always had good experiences here.

I don't know what happened to their pizza's. We use to love going here for pizza's. Went there last year & the Magherita pizza had no flavor so we stopped going. Thought we would try again. Stopped in last Sunday..same thing. No flavor at all. You couldn't taste anything except the fresh basil. Worst pizza's ever now. Not going back anymore.

Our fav is the Greek Sicilian Pizza. Give them a try. They place is fantastic!

All was good, the food and service. A reconnection to the owner would be investing in some manet of sound control to reduce noise. It's a testament to the food how busy it was when I was there... PACKED! That said, the acoustics were such that my party and I—all of us casual loud talkers with food-industry experience—struggled to chat without resorting to shouting ourselves. Again... Great spot. I go whenever I'm in the area, noisy or not.

Wonderful pizzeria. This place is a gem! The staff is awesome. The pizzas can't be beat. Lots of options - thin, hand tossed, sicilian, gluten-free, cauliflower crusts. Beer and wine (no liquor). Eat in or take out. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The finest pizza place in the state of Florida that I've had the pleasure of having not to mention their salads are artwork and the sandwiches rival the best delis and Italian sandwich shops I've ever been too. This place is the real deal. You must try the Jerk Chicken Pizza with the DragonFire sauce. It's the most beautiful taste ever. ♥️

We've been going to blue highway for over 15 yrs we live only mins. away. Love the pizza and sandwiches but they have changed the bread, now it is like cardboard sorry disappointed in the bread. Friendly staff with Great service.

This is our go to pizza spot!! They have the best pizza( chefs Kiss) . The staff is super friendly and we usually have Javier, he is always friendly, refills your drink, and makes sure you have everything you need!! Thanks Blue Highway for superb pizza and atmosphere !! See you next week!!

The sauce for the calzone I ordered could have used garlic in it. So I asked for some garlic and the waiter brought me a condiment cup full of sliced and roasted garlic. Then waiter said next time you come in we will double the garlic for your order..good customer service makes return customers. Good looking out Blue Highway. 👍🏽

Old country setting was awesome, once you step in the establishment you could smell that you're going to have a great meal. Reminded me of Regina's Pizza in the north end of Boston. The pizza was fabulous, still pretty amazed of the quality being out in the middle of nowhere 😄 Highly recommend

We went to explore historic Mcanopy outside of Gainesville and stopped at this lone establishment on Highway 441 on our way back home. We sat at the bar, very friendly and welcoming staff. The inside is fairly small will table and booths. I ordered a Blue Highway salad which was exactly what I wanted. Fresh local organic greens, and other veggies, and their Bianca pizza. The food was very good. I learned that Blue Highway has another location as well.

Such an amazing atmosphere and vibe! Love the old music playing and the scenery! The food was unbelievably delicious. And our waitress Kendall was so sweet and had amazing menu recommendations!

The food here is always fresh and delicious. I do take out, so no feedback on the atmosphere. The online order 'time ready' was off by 20 minutes. Small price to pay for the great food and proximity to Micanopy. 👍

You can't go wrong at Blue Highway. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly. I love their pizza and they even have a personal size. They have a great selection of beverages.

Our favorite local restaurant when in the Micanopy area. Incredible homemade oven fired pizzas (BBQ Chicken and the Sicilian are our favorite, salads/homemade dressing, we've never had a bad meal. Kid friendly, come as you are atmosphere. One of the best!

Our server was one of the best. The food was fantastic. I ordered the flatbread and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend!

Fast service, friendly waiters, great food, excellent pizza. Don’t miss the key lime pie, so delish. They have outdoors too, but too hot and too many mosquitoes., loved the food and the vibe.

Check your bill. Even cash customers are being charged an extra 3% fee! Mayonnaise on your sandwich? It costs extra. Good pizza though.

Went there for lunch. Local place and very nice people. Service was very good and food was very good also. Not fancy but good local fare. Waitress, Tiana, was exceptional. Next time, when in area, we would go back

I want to love this restaurant for the nostalgia, history, and all the lovely words spouted on their website…but, it can’t even begin to imagine how they are rated as high, as they are. The food is mediocre, at best, and doesn’t hold a candle to satchels, Mildred’s, piesanos…or a dozen other locations that are more convenient, customer oriented and worthy of patronage…this last experience where the phone was not answered for an entire hour between noon and 1, was the last straw…what a shame.

Small and always crowded but that's because it's so good. Very good California style pizza alittle dry so I now ask for extra sauce. Service very good an friendly. Club sandwich outstanding. Blue highway has been our go to place since Covid and has not let us down. Highly recommended... Edit 3/24 Best club sandwiche I've ever had. The bread they use is fantastic an the homemade pickles are so good never had the mix of sweet an sour they concocted. So GOOD...

Best pizza, a favorite, always busy which goes to show how good their food is. The Micanopy restaurant serves beer and wine, along with vintage sodas.

Sangria was good. We got the Sicilian crust, yum!!!

What a gem! Everything was delicious, from the funghi 🍄 pizza 🍕to the Turkey panini to the BEST chicken 🐥🍗 wings I have eaten. Outdoor seating, so the pup 🐕could join us. This time of year the greens for the salads are local organic, the mushrooms on the funghi pizza too! Our server was very friendly and helpful, thanks @Javier! Will definitely be back. Pro tip - the sangria 🍷is tasty too. 😊

This place seems like it has been here for ages, in a good way. The pizza was great, and the service was amazing. We were driving in from Indiana, and the waitress happened to also be from there, so my wife and her talked about recipes for probably far too long, lol. Drinks are in smaller plastic cups, which kind of sucks. They have a nice outdoor seating area. Parking can be a little tight. All in all, it's worth the stop.

The food was amazing! You can tell the greens are local and so fresh, amazing salad. Dressings are homemade and our server Frank was spot on with his recommendations. We loved our pizza and I even got a pizza cat tshirt. The biggest disappointment came when we got our bill and saw the company adds a 3% service fee to our bill because of rising costs. I completely understand that everything is more expensive and business need to raise prices to keep up. But what I didn’t like was the surprise at the end. Managers need to be more forthcoming with that information. Our first thought was to take the service charge out of the tip, but that wouldn’t be fair to Frank who busted his but taking care of our table and so many others. He offered amazing customer service and was a highlight of our meal. It is clear that he enjoys his work and excels at it. 3% is a tiny amount and we are not mad at the extra $3 it added to our bill, but really disappointed that management decided to spring it on you at the very end of your bill. It feels like a shake down.

Crowded Friday night but the veggie panini was huge and delicious.

After a day of hiking at Payne's Preserve we were hungry for dinner. We had heard at a craft shop in Micanopy about this place so we tried it. They were able to accommodate a gluten free diet and the food served was nothing but really good. Our server, Javier, was great. He was very helpful to find a way to do gluten free. And was prompt, courteous, and friendly. I would highly recommend stopping by for something to eat.

We ordered pizza with shrimp/banna peppers and other half garlic/onions/pepperoni😁 it was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to see jumbo shrimp on the pizza. We ate every bit 😁🙌😎 The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was delightful 😁 I would suggest giving them a visit. You will surely be returning 😊

Great pizza, just what we need after long, cold hike in Paynes Prairie.

The place is legit! Pizzas are cooked perfectly, my wife ordered the oddball Cauliflower crust with mushrooms and it actually tasted great in a thin crust style. But my definitive fav’s gotta be the fully customizable Calzone (got ricotta cheese & meatball and it was awesome) Great service too, fast and friendly. We were staying near Micanopy and glad we got to try this place before they are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The pizza and food are absolutely amazing. Only to be bested by the incredibly friendly service. We showed up with a large group and were accommodated and treated wonderfully. A great place all around.

I’ve eaten at the original Blue Highway in Micanopy at least a couple of times a year for the last 18 years, and it is consistent and so incredibly delicious. We love the small, artsy, cozy dining room from which you can view part of the kitchen, the pizza, the salads, the wings, everything we have ever tried! (Sometimes it’s hard to branch out because you start to crave what you’ve had there before.) Truly my favorite pizza I’ve ever had, and as Gainesville residents, we have numerous good options in various styles, so we think that’s saying something.

Went here with one of our sons girlfriend while we were here for the festival. The food was outstanding the only complaint I had was when I ordered a beer and asked for a frosted mug was told all that was available was a frosted plastic cup! My wife enjoyed her salad and stated that their home made dressing was out of this world!!! If you find yourselves in this area well worth your time.

This place has consistently amazing food every single time we order. Service is always good and it is reasonably priced. There has never been anything we have tried, that we didn't love. The shrimp bruscetta is my personal favorite. Highly recommend.

Most delicious pizza I've had in the Gainesville/Micanopy area. Great atmosphere and a really relaxed, cozy place. Prices might be a bit higher than other places, but the quality of the food and service make up for it. Highly recommended!

We were camped at Paynes prairie State Park about 4 mi away and came across this place. It is a little gem. Prices are good. The food is great and if you want good service ask for Javier.

They have changed a few things and we thought it was better before they changed... The charcuterie board was much better before in our opinion..service is a little slow at times...even when only 3 or 4 tables are active...but, overall ..worth stopping in! Pizzas are hand made and fresh!! Really good!!

Driving through on our way to TN and stopped here for dinner and MAN am I glad we did!! Amazingly fresh and delicious food. The pizza crust was out of this world crispy and tasty! We were all very pleased with our food and the staff was super nice.

For a little place this place is amazing! Everything from the service to our food 😋. You can tell that they love what they do and they do it with love. You can't go wrong!! They deserve 10 stars!!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I had the Highway. The fresh baked bread they make there is the best bread I've had for a sandwich. DELICIOUS!!
