I have never eaten at a Bob Evans until a few months ago. We were planning on going to Cracker Barrel but it was so crowded and really loud. My wife has tinnitus and it was just overwhelming for her. So we went down to Bob Evans for the first time. We were really blown away by the food service and it was pleasantly quiet. I will definitely be back. Good food and service. I would recommend them for anyone that wants a place that is calmer than most restaurants.

We have been here a few times and the food has always been delicious. Place is clean and our server was very friendly and very efficient. Great value for what you get. So many great choice to choose from. I recommend this business.

I went into Bob Evans with low expectations. I hadn’t been back to one in close to 15 years and I don’t remember anything sticking out that would make me want to return. My wife insisted so I agreed as many husbands would. From the moment we got there we received the best service I have had in any restaurant in the majority of my life. The staff was very welcoming and hospitable. The manager Catherine was very kind to my family and went as far as gifting my five-year-old a little toy which was not expected. Our waitress Madison was very attentive and accommodating. And the food was spectacular. There couldn’t have been anything we would have wanted more than what we received. I didn’t expect to have such a family feeling from going out to eat somewhere. But it felt very welcoming and I can’t express how much I appreciate my family being treated so well. We typically go out once a week together for breakfast to the same place, which I won’t name, and now that place will be replaced with Bob Evans. Thank you guys

We waited a long time to get our food, we almost left. My husband had to keep asking for cream for his coffee and it took for ever for her to bring it. Not a good experience sorry to say.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this location. Didn't wait long at all for a table and the Assistant Manager went above and beyond to show our 5 year old kindness. The food was great, the prices were very reasonable and the service was wonderful. I can't wait to go back soon!

Sausage gravy… why I am I being charged for gravy ( small bowl ) when I change from regular gravy and change to sausage grave - not a bowl. This is bunch of B. S. Even the waitresses agree!

I go to Ocala monthly for pain management my brother drives me we stop at Bob Evans and eat it's always a pleasant environment and tasty food

Food was warm but not sizzling hot, but I was ok with that. Waitress was jolly and nice. Always Love Bob Evans!!!💗

Sadly, this location leaves a lot to be desired. Usually, no one greets you when you arrive, and you just stand around waiting, that is if you decide to stay. We have had waiters argue with us about menu items and deserts, which is totally uncalled for. Our last visit, the waitress pushed menu changes that were not welcomed and stated items were not available, that were. Preparing to leave, we asked for a small to-go box for the leftover banana bread, and the waitress seemed more interested in socializing with both coworkers and customers that she never brought it. Inexcusable! This location needs strong Managers to get this location and staff customer service oriented. It certainly is not now.

Be prepared to wait... alone... without being greeted... Rarely are customers greeted when entering the restaurant and have a long wait even though there are plenty of tables. During our last visit, two servers, (one of which was our server) argued with the hostess who was trying to seat two patrons. One said she already had enough tables; the other said not to place them in her section as she already had too many. One of the patrons mentioned the empty tables and a server said, "that's my area, but I have too many already!" Our server greeted us with, "My hands smell like banana bread cuz I keep sneaking some everytime I go back there. Ready to order?" I said, "Well we'd like to start with something to drink." I ordered the new summer berry salad while my husband ordered a burger with provolone cheese. She told him they don't serve that cheese. My husband pointed to the menu showing her they do have provolone. She argued with him until I said we were there last week and they had provolone - and I told her to just ask for it. She put in our orders and came back telling me that she doesn't know who comes up with the menu items, but their balsamic vinaigrette does NOT pair well with the berries in the salad. She recommended a celery seed dressing. I said I wanted the balsamic. She said it won't taste good. I told her I had it the week before and loved it, and I wanted the vinaigrette. It took forever to get our drinks because she was trying to convince another customer that he shouldn't order a specific drink, that it would choke him! After our meal, we asked for a small box for our banana bread, she never brought it but spent time socializing with other servers and customers. We finally took our bread to the counter and asked the cashier/hostess for a box. Sadly, this is not our first bad experience from this restaurant. The food is usually pretty good (bless the chef), but barring one or two servers, customer service here is horrible!

We were seated quickly and got our order quick as well plus the food was great. The only issue was the waitresses seemed like they didn't want to be there. No smiles from any of them but they did keep asking if we needed anything. Then the lady that ran the register and occasionally sat people, the one with a regular button up shirt, was on her cell phone, not the business phone the entire time we were there and she was taking care of customers too. I just thought that was very unprofessional. But all in all we enjoyed our meal.

The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. I love the bread choices. Great menu.

I normally order online at this location often, and receive good service. However there is one particular assistant manager at this location who is the rudest, nastiest most vile person I’ve ever met. I won’t name him by names, but if you go in when he’s working, you’ll know. He put me on hold for over 20 mins just so I could tell him I was outside for my curbside order. I had my son with me who’s a toddler and it’s harder for me to take him out just to go inside for two seconds. I went inside with my toddler after 20 mins of being on hold and he was doing nothing but flirting with his coworkers. When I asked him why I was on hold for so long, he IMMEDIATELY caught an attitude. If I EVER come back, it’ll be during the evening shift only. Just being in this humans presence is miserable.

We had breakfast here this morning. We've had a sick stomachs all day. I'm reporting them to the health dept. No way they are practicing safe food handling here. No way! I'm so grossed out at the thought of what might be going on in their kitchen. Ugh!.

Manny is totally awesome! Superior customer service, kind, caring, and friendly. Manny is a professional and Bob Evans is fortunate to have him. BTW the best cranberry chicken salad EVER!!!! God bless this young man in fathomless measure ❤️

Lauren is the best waitress ever! She's very attentive, and very friendly! Anything we ever needed, she was so quick to get it for us. She's always smiling and always so sweet. We don't want any other waitress but her! We had her about a month ago, and here we are a month later, we get her again, and she remembered us! She's such a sweet woman and very quick.

Bob Evans love the turkey with mashed potato and gravy the price reasonable it’s close to home and I always have leftovers for lunch the next day

Decent breakfast with many options

This was my first visit to a Bob Evans. We were visiting my parents who live in Top of the World, and we had 2 kids in our group. There was a good kids menu with activities on paper with crayons. Extensive menu with variety of options, including more healthy options and smaller portions. Service and atmosphere were great. No waiting for a table at 9:30am on a Friday. Food was good with affordable prices.

This Bob Evans is always excellent.

2024-03-08: I have been to this Bob Evans several times in the past and have always enjoyed my visit. I arrived just after 8 a.m. and did not have to wait to be seated. Diana was my waitress and she was fantastic...just singing away. You can tell she enjoys her job. I had the new, Three Meat Protein Bowl with Banana Nut Bread. I also ordered a Wildfire Chicken Salad to go with Banana Nut Bread. The food was very good, and the Banana Nut Bread was excellent!

Could have multiple kinds of creamer for coffee. And some other dishes aswell.

Bob Evans is my go-to place for a good home-style meal. They have just about anything you could want on their menu. I especially like the turkey and dressing and the cranberry chicken salad. And breakfast is always delicious.

I had not been to a Bob Evans in years. I decided to try this as we had some time to kill before taking our car to the dealer for service. The only complaint I had was about the amount of time it took to get the food after ordering. It seems like their kitchen was not able to cope with the load. The food itself was very good. The waitress was very attentive. There's plenty of parking.

The food did not come out at the same time, we had to ask for refills every time we wanted more to drink and was very slow. I have been there twice the first time and the last time.

My family and I live rather close, so we use to frequent this restaurant 2-3 times a week. Enough so, Laurel knew our orders by heart. Even our children. We no longer see here there, but have given others several chances. We’ve sat without silverware until our food was cold, after asking multiple servers. On a different occasion, we’ve waited over 45 minutes for food to come to the table when there wasn’t more than 20 people in the entire restaurant. Yet again, we return and was asked our drink order 3 times by the same server because she kept forgetting. The managers stand and chat at the registers, don’t turn to greet when you come in the door. Time and time again, we’ve tried to enjoy what use to be our favorite family restaurant. But this last time was icing on the cake, the server kept touching my babies head and hands. The food was not what was advertised in the descriptions or photos, and the taste was not good. I am not sure what has changed in the last couple of months but it hasn’t been for the better.

Ordered online, went to the store to pick up, said no order, but took it out of checking account 4 times did not eve n know store # sent me to 2 different. Would not recommend it.

Very disappointed on thanks giving dinner. I will never order it again. Compressed turkey, and all the food we had was bland and unseasoned. Not ever going back unless they change there ways of cooking.

Decent food and service, Cafteria style atmosphere…

Clean safe parking. No waiting, although the table was very wet. The server, Sarah, was personable and polite, except for not providing a steak knife for the steak we ordered. It took until I finished my meal fir the server to return to our table and find out my spouse couldn't eat her steak. FOOD? The steak was very tough. The coffee had a lot of grounds in it. The bacon that came with my French toast was so dry, it crumbled sort of like dust when I bit into it. The French Toast with caramel apple was decent. It could've used a bit more apple. It was our first time trying a Bob Evans. 😥

Not enough staff. Always long wait to get a table, long wait to get food. Need more efficiency. Last time they were out of rolls, onion rings and other menu items.

We had dinner here the night before Thanksgiving. It was a little hectic inside because of people picking up catering orders, but that was to be expected considering Thanksgiving was the next day. They had a limited menu which was sort of a bummer because we’re from out of town and we wanted specific menu items. Thankfully everyone was happy with what they ended up ordering. All in all, service was good even though it was busy and our food tasted great. We’d definitely eat here again when we’re back in FL.

This location runs a ghost kitchen. This means they sell overpriced microwaved food under a fake and different brand name.

A friend and I ordered delivery food from "Pardon my Cheesesteak" which is a fake restaurant operating out of Bob Evans janitor closet. They're scamming people on food delivery apps. Thanks for deceiving, over charging, and then presenting an embarrassing disaster you consider food.

Unfortunately, I must express my disappointment regarding our experience today at Bob Evans. For the past five years, we have chosen to celebrate Thanksgiving at your restaurant. However, today's service and meal were the worst we have encountered during this time. We understand that holidays can be hectic and that staffing may be insufficient. However, it would have been appreciated if better preparations were made. Our waiter was kind, but he struggled to bring our meals to us in a timely manner. While waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes to be seated is understandable, waiting over an hour for our meals, only to have them arrive cold, is truly disappointing. Towards the end of our visit, we requested to speak with a manager. Regrettably, the manager we encountered was rude and uncooperative. Although she offered us a discount, her attitude was completely unacceptable. It seemed as though she believed that since everyone else had to wait, we should not be upset about the delay. Is that truly the standard we should expect? Surely, a better explanation could have been provided. Over the past five years, Bob Evans has never failed to provide a excellent experience for my family. However, this time, you have let us down tremendously. It is with regret that I must inform you that we will not be returning next year. Although we may not be missed, it is unfortunate that Bob Evans has lost our patronage.

I will never go to eat a Bob Evans again. I call customer service and they still have not called me back. I went to the Bob evans in Ocala. Order a gluten free meal chicken sandwich. I asked my server Barbara if they had gluten free buns and she said yes all are buns are gluten free. To top it off she was real loud so others could hear her. Then she asked me if I wanted french fries, I said no I am gluten intolerant and the oil is used for other food items so I ordered green beans. My meal came out on the "gluten free bun" and I tasted it and said this is good for gluten free are you sure Barbaral this is gluten free, so she when and ask her manager Catherine and she said yes that she was right real loud.So I asked to check with the cooks to make sure. And she came out boasting she was correct and no problem, her girl friend has celiac and she has no trouble with the buns there. I said okay. Well they are not gluten free I found out after breaking out in blisters all over my legs hands and buttocks. You see I have DH disease. IT is a auto immune disease that attacks my skin when I eat gluten. I am still suffering from the sores and scabs from the blisters. Why was my call not returned?? At this point I might have to seek a lawyer. Never been so embarrassed in my life as I did not need people staring at me as I was talking to loud mouth Barbara.

The French toast with apples is awesome! I didn't need any syrup. I highly recommend it. I also recommend having the server Charlie. He gave us awesome service today and makes the best hot chocolate!

Usually a very pleasant experience. However, this visit was unpleasant related to a pungent smell of moldy or dirty something. The service and food were still above average but they need to clean better.

They were confused and understaffed! 30 mins for a table, 90 mins for dinner!
