Help me with directions to get where I was going... very helpful

We love visiting Boggans when we are floating the Grande Ronde River. The cabins are clean and well appointed, the owners are very kind and accommodating, and to food is delish!

The beer selection here is abysmal. Coors? Really? I was hoping to have a burger and a beer, but left without spending a dime.

Great place to stop for a break. Excellent milkshakes.

Great hosts and amenities! We had a wonderful time, and will definitely be back for another stay.

Truly epic steelhead experience. Louis is very “fishy”, putting us on multiple fish everyday. The cabins are cozy, clean and the beds are super comfortable. The entire Villagomez family is a delight and Jennifer (the chief cook and bottlewasher) kept me fat and happy. Ready to book a summer and fall trip.

Place is the best! Some of the best fishing in the NW!

Great food after long days fishing

We experienced our first trip with Louis after purchasing a bass trip during an auction. Louis and his staff at Boggan’s went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Everything from the cabins to the food to the milkshakes were amazing. We quickly booked our second trip to come back for steelhead fishing and this trip was just as great as the first. I can not say enough good things about Louis and his crew at Boggan’s. We look forward to book again.

Stayed here on my first hunting trip with my father in law. The cabins are very clean. We stayed in cabin 4 that had four beds. It was two double bunks built into the wall, small but manageable. A little kitchenette with microwave, sink, etc. Bathroom was good sized and shower was hot! The restaurant is great - the burgers were amazing, especially the Hawaiian burger. Biscuits and gravy had a good herbal kick with big pieces of sausage throughout. Inside was very comfortable and the wifi was strong and fast (fishon21). The area is beautiful and this was a perfect oasis for the 4 days we were there. Super friendly staff!

We are two ladies who drifted the river with Louis. He’s a excellent guide, funny and very knowledgeable. The area is spectacular and so beautiful. We were busy all day catching fish. Do this trip and you’ll want to go back!! We already booked again.

If you need a burger and you're in the area, grab one here! In fact, I came down with a group from Spokane on motorcycles... so even if you are not in the area... it's a perfect place to grab a burger! Don't pass up on their onion rings either, excellent onion rings!!! Update: I can't believe I didn't mention the Huckleberry Shakes! Legendary Huckleberry Shakes. This time I tried something different... Peanut Butter & Jelly and Bacon burger. Yes, surprisingly, it works!

The best short adventure ride from Lewiston. The scenery is magnificent and Boggans never disappoints.

Just dropped in for milkshakes on the recommendation of an acquaintance. The staff was friendly and facility was clean. Lots of history on the walls. The milkshakes were super sweet and way overpriced (like $9 for a 24 oz cup). I wouldn't recommend the milkshakes.

The family that runs this place are incredible human beings. They went above and beyond in everyway. I'm so glad I discovered this place, will absolutely be coming back

The new owners are amazing. We stopped to rest on our motorcycle and they were closed. We stopped on a Tuesday and they are open Thursday through Sunday. They invited us inside to enjoy the air conditioning and gave us drinks. The place looks amazing and the owners are great people. Do yourself a favor and enjoy Boggan's Oasis.

What a great place to stay and eat! The owners make you feel like family while you're there. Make sure to go a float trip while you're there as well! Rooms are very clean, and have everything you need. We can't wait to visit again soon.

We on our motorcycle ride stopped at Boggans for some lunch. They make wonderful shakes, and they couldn’t be owned by nicer people. Will be back.

We stopped in boggan's for lunch while on an overlanding adventure this past weekend. While they were out of the large majority of items and the bathrooms were closed due to high traffic, the staff was super friendly and personable. We had questions about gas station options and nearby trails and they were happy to share their knowledge. I got a bacon burger and nacho tots and it was delicious.

We run our rafts down the Grande Ronde River once or twice a year. We time our trips to make sure that we can stop for lunch at Boggans Oasis. This year, under new management, it was particularly good! I had a burger (they are made with ground sirloin) that was among the best I've ever eaten. With juicy meat, great buns, onions, tomatoes, pickles, sauce, and lettuce; it was wonderful! I totally recommend this place.

The owners treated me like family. I highly recommend.

Stopped for breakfast and a milkshake on our day trip. Try the peach milkshake. It is absolutely heavenly.

Louis and Tia are amazing, Louis was awesome and extremely knowledgeable, he helped my 12 year old hook her first Steelhead!! Amazing place and amazing people! Burgers and Shakes are great. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Slay session with Louis Villagómez owner of the Boggan’s Oasis Resort and an awesome fishing guide. We had the best time fishing. I’ve never seen so many steelhead caught in one day! Louis was extremely friendly, hilarious, accommodating and informative. The scenery was heavenly. The canyons threw wind, sunshine and snow at us all in one day it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend the trip to the Boggan’s Oasis Resort and booking a session with Louis. He will educate you with open arms to be a knowledgeable fisherman or woman. Thank you so much for the great time! We will be back!

We love going to Boggans for fishing trips. It would also be a great place to go for rock hounds and bird watchers. Louis and Tia, the owner/operators, are great people. We always enjoy our stays at Boggans!

Can't say enough good things about Louis and Tia. They were closing but opened to my wife and I so we could eat. Louis even set me up with a bead rig to fish steelhead. They are awesome and such good food. Looking forward to my float trip next week.

Fishing buddy and I have never fished the Grande Ronde River, so we booked a guided trip to the lower canyon. Louis was a great guide...personable and professional without being stiff and repetitive. His intimate knowledge of the Grande Ronde proved invaluable to our experience. While the beauty of the canyon and the river speaks for itself, the experience with Louis' guide float made the day one of the best ever on the water...and that's saying something. This young man, his wife and kids have pushed "ALL CHIPS IN" with their acquisition of Boggin's Oasis from the previous owners and it shows. They are committed to providing you the best experience possible in what is one of the most beautiful locations in the PNW. Thank you Louis and Tia for pushing through and sharing your piece of heaven. We WILL be back.

Fun unique milkshakes. I had the peanut butter and jelly. Best milkshake at ever had a long time.

I had a delicious Reese’s shake and the Caesar salad and fries were great. My husband liked the Boggan burger and everything was fresh. Really friendly people!

Beautiful winter wonderland! Great Cabins, our stay was incredibly warm and comfortable. The views of the hills and sky and river are pristine jewels! Fantastic food and Tia and Louis are great hosts! Cant wait to come back!!

Absolutely one of the coolest places to visit! The panoramic views are incredible,in a full 360 degree, just step outside your cabin, or tent. Cabins are clean, warm, and cozy. Bathroom and shower included in each unit. The owners are some of the nicest and most enjoyable people we have met. The restaurant is beautiful and a great place to grab a home cooked meal and enjoy the view, or a famous milk shake! Recommend grabbing a guided fishing session, take home the big one!

Stayed 5 nights at Boggans what an amazing place with breathtaking views right out the cabin door..no disappointment. even went on 3 day guided trip with Louis nothing but stellar service very knowledgeable, great oarsmen and top of the line gear...caught lots of summer steelhead every trip..the restaurant was nothing but impressive very ..food was amazing great service and hospitality wish I could give a better raiting tripod a lifetime

I left a glowing review last year but now I need to update it. Talk about rising from the ashes... The new owners have done wonders! BEAUTIFULLY decorated the place. They've really captured the spirit of the Old Boggan's. The same great server from the previous owners still works there. The walls are covered with historical photos. I need to go back and hang out there just to look at the pictures and read up on the history... and enjoy their famous milk shakes.

What a picturesque paradise Tucktaway in the hills!!! This place is a relaxing getaway with boating fishing swimming and more! I can’t wait to go back. I would recommend for anyone to Bring your family and friends here for a good time:) the new owners are amazing <3

This place exists in a world of its own. If you're in the area often it can be a bit of a life saver. The burger was great and so was the fish and chips. Beers overlooking the river are best on the patio and the people watching can really be entertaining.

This little place at the bottom of rattlesnake canyon you have to come try there ice cream it's the very very best. Get yourself an ice cream cone sit outside in the chairs and look at the beautiful canyon this is the place to be

Clean bathrooms, taking a group of scouts after a long hike very hospitable, lots of seating.

This is a must go place. We were on the river so we stopped for lunch and Huckleberry Shakes!!! We should have split a lunch.... It was very large and good, and the shake was 32 ounces!! The Owners and Crew are very busy and enjoyable. We bought ice cream cones for our dogs, and they brought our dogs water!!! Great People!!!

Great burger, good tea, and french fries that taste like potatoes! One of the best burgers in WA State. Epic views - eat your burger on the patio or across the street, and take in the Grand Rhonde, the huge cliffs towering overhead, and the birds and butterflies fluttering about. Indoors has a great atmosphere too - lots of local history on the walls.

The burgers and fries were great! The shakes were pretty good, kind of light (which I didn't mind) but a couple of my kids thought they tasted a bit like frozen yogurt. I really enjoyed how the dinning area was ringed with photos, news clippings, and writings about the Grande Ronde and people of the area. A lot of history and local flavor. A great place (and the only place) to stop when exploring this beautiful area.

How I miss this great place, smack in the middle of some of the finest highway "twisties" a driver could possibly wish for, all set in 20 miles of magnificent landscapes where you'll dropp thousands of feet in elevation and then rise back up on the other side. Here at Boggan's it was always a slice of pie and coffee for me though much more is served here, good stuff. Real people, both staffing and customers alike. Hoping to stop in for my next visit in the next month or so. Until then, some of my photos are attached to tease you with this glorious stretch of the lower 48.

A beautiful drive through the Mountains 😍! Heard about this cute Cafe. The building structure is fairly new. Ordered a cold ham and cheese sandwich 😋, on sourdough bread with Frito Lay Chips. All the efficient and smiling. Took my Dramamine, no problems with the winding road 😊.

Classic burger joint, refreshing stop on a long trip.

Burger was tasty, and the onion rings were even better. It's a wee bit out of the beaten path, but it's worth stopping at if you happen to be on the winding stretch of road.
