Hands down THE best little diner in Ormond.

Huge menu, great options for anyone! My wife got the pulled pork bbq mac and cheese, and I was so jealous. It was so good! I had the Dream-which. That sourdough bread 👍! My mom got the crab eggs benne, it was very yummy and filling! Be patient if there’s a wait, it’s a small place. Don’t let the location deter you! Bloody Mary was yummy too!

Only got the try the cuban sandwich and it has so much flavor!! Very impressed and highly recommended

Excellent bacon cheeseburger fries were seasoned and good. Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. A hidden gem if you haven’t been there before. A must try American cuisine.

Fun and friendly atmosphere, the waiting staff worked together to make sure everyone was taken car of. Breakfast was really good. And they have a pinball arcade too.

Cate and Sassy are second to NONE. They give the best service in town and the food is great.

This place is basically my heaven. Insanely amazing all homemade food, and PINBALL! We had the biscuits with gravy (lots of sausage in it and a bit of heat, was the best I’ve ever had), Cinnabon pancakes (divine) and a bunch of omelettes. Everything was absolutely perfect and made with all fresh ingredients. The staff was beyond friendly and extremely attentive. Between the environment and the staff, it made me feel like I was being served by family or friends, in someone’s home. Hands down the absolute best breakfast spot I’ve been to in Daytona Beach. Can’t wait to come back to it.

Ppl were waiting at the door to get in! We we walked in right at opening and were seated there is a big variety on the menu, we got breakfast and oh my goodness, it was delicious. We will definitely be making a stop here every visit. Our waitress was the absolute sweetest and made sure to check on us every time she walked by. PINPALL.. Where else can you play some pinball and breakfast.. No where that I know of!!

What a great location. They are breakfast and pinball. What more could you ask for while traveling. The Wait service was fast and attentive. Even came to me while I was playing a game let me know there's no rush but my food is up. The owner was here working when I visited. From what I understand he's pretty much there working every day. Where I was playing one of his games he asked me what I ordered and said he'd make it nice. He seemed happy that I was there pumping quarters as well as eating food. What was really funny, There's a video of him working on one of the machines and the pinball glass slides down and he catches it with his foot in the nic of time. The funny is part about this video is that it's been an ongoing fear that this would happen to me 1 day, and the day it does I'm now better equipped with my ninja glass catching skills. The food itself was great And it was a large portion. Just the fact that I can order a pinball omelet means I'll be back.

Awesome hole in the wall with amazing food! Lox Benedicts, great waffles, great biscuits and gravy different specials all the time! The staff are all wonderful, friendly, and great with their work!

We are sort of sad we didn't know about this place sooner! The staff is so kind and welcoming, regardless of how busy they are. We have dinned in twice for breakfast and the food was fantastic each time. Their waffles are my favorite! I would go understanding that there may be a wait but come with extra quarters to play pinball to pass the time.

Always delicious and absolutely amazing place to go! Can't beat that the kids always look forward to pinball. Makes the whole experience just that much better.

Food was incredible and delicious! Service was quick. Cafe was busy when we visited during bike week but we were seated right away and not rushed through our meal. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and French toast with sides. Food came out quick and hot. Worth a visit.

Absolutely love this place. I’ve been taking my family to eat here for over 2 years and there is no end in sight. The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful people. Sassy, Kate, Karl, and the other staff know how to run a restaurant! Don’t listen to Patrick Hegarty’s review. Dude is an old grouch who loves to complain. He even left our company a poor review simply because we didn’t offer a service he was in need of. He’s got a nice track record of opinionated whining. Do yourself a favor and bring your family here for your next breakfast or lunch. You won’t regret it and I know you’ll be back for more!

Amazing food and super friendly staff!

Edit to update my review. Last visit was 11/25/23. Still amazing food and service! The place was packed Saturday around noon. We opted to sit outside where it was slightly drizzling but still had cover. I had O.G. Sandwich with sourdough bread and potatoes. So much food I took half the sandwich home. My mom had spinach and cheese omelette and swapped for fruit. The coffee still freaking wonderful as always. Sassy and her crew still the best around. I wished I lived closer. 2 years ago:I stopped in to get breakfast and coffee to go. They are so friendly and quick. I got an omelette and home fries. It was really good. But we love their coffee. My papa raves about their coffee. Sassy and the other servers make you feel at home.

Outstanding friendly family place excellent food I can’t say enough about how friendly they are makes you feel like you’re at home. from the first time I called in my to go order it has been my go to place ever since. Service is by far marvelous and fun. They have a good time and so do the customers. There’s not a bad thing on the menu that I’ve had I have been trying all of them tomorrow is Captain K seafood omelette. I love the names that they gave all their food instead of just saying ham and cheese omelette. It’s a jackpot omelette if I could give it. 10 out of 10 stars I would!!!

Always friendly and foods always fresh

Tried a Reuben omelet today. Sounds weird and my brain says that doesn't go together. But WOW it was delicious!

Food was good, short wait. Menu confusing as hell. They use cute names for everything on the menu. You have to read each one to find out what it is, and whether you want it.

Great service, classic Americana from the 50' to the late 80"s but with a more diverse "perfect world" feel. Pin ball while you wait...very large portions served hot and cooked to perfection, I have never seen a square omelette....but now I have and ot was delicious 😋 second visit just as great as the first....parking is super tight...watch those side mirrors! 10/27/2023!!

Ok, so how have we lived in Ormond Beach for 3 years and never been to this place? That’s going to change - gonna be back a lot! Cate (yes with a C) was our waitress. She is amazing! Good food and a 100% awesome atmosphere! Do yourself a favor, and go eat at Café one.

Cafe one is the best breakfast in ormond. Wife and daughter love going here Sundays and pin ball machines are awesome.

First time there, but it will not be the last! I had the shrimp omelet... totally different for me, but wow! My wife had the waffle small but totally wonderful!

This was our first time here and it most definitely will not be our last! The place is very cute and cozy! Amazing service and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Garden Eggs Bennidict and my fiancé had the OG breakfast sandwich! Honestly it was the best eggs Bennidict I have ever had! The Mimosas were delicious too!! They have a big menu and great daily specials!

Found this place and looked like a "hole in the wall" local eatery. Boy, was I mistaken. Their food was awesome. The cook has had his "magic lessons" and I could tell from the blueberry pancakes that were not only homemade but full of fresh blueberries. The coffee was excellent and the portions above average. The 2 waitresses were friendly and attentive. We ended up eating there every morning we were in town. Check it out. You will not be disappointed. Small place but worth the wait. One year update Every single time I've driven past this place (when they were open), I stopped and ate. That's how good it is. It doesn't matter whether it's breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner, everything's wonderful. Must haves are the pancakes and the burgers. the omelets are heavenly as well. Just try them. You can thank me later.

This place is amazing. Catherine greeted us at the door and assisted us with a lot of needs. She needs a raise!! The food was amazing, and the service was impeccable. I’ve eaten here several times and it never fails to amaze me. If I were you, I would eat here!

Love it there! Food is great. Portions are a little big for us but I'm sure that's a selling point for some. Love that's they are locally owned and work there every day.

Awesome breakfast. Heard about this place from a waiter at another restaurant. The owner of Cafe One is also the chef, and that equals great food. If you're into pinball machines, they have a lot of them. Really cool atmosphere. It's kind of hidden, but it's definitely worth going. I know I'll be back

Why is this place great? Great food - you truly won't be disappointed - great owners/service in Karl and Sassy, and great pinball. They don't just have pinball, they have excellent new machines that are all maintained and worth playing. Good for families with kids, or anyone wanting a great breakfast or lunch.

Staff, food, environment always 10/10. My favorite place to have breakfast in Ormond. If you go, get the Big Boy, Country Fried Pork Chop, eggs over easy with American cheese on top, sour dough toast with hash browns. Its my personal favorite and always so delicious. Want the small town feel dinner , with food that has flavor, with staff who welcomes you? This is your spot. Like PinBall? Even better, they have a bunch of machines!

Can we say, "Pinballs!" While you wait for awsome food play pinball games. Loved this place. I paid 9.59 with tax for grits, bacon, eggs and toast! 1 piece of bacon and toast was not included in photo. Eaten immediately!

Great diner with lots of variety on the menu. Local owners who care about customers and our community. Never had a bad meal or experience there. Even if it's crowded, the food is worth the wait. Highly recommend.

When it comes to the service, its doesnt get any better! I've never experienced the level of customer service anywhere else in this county. It's always top notch! Sassy & Cate are amazing! The food is good, & the Bloody Mary's are where it's at! Great hidden gem! Pin balls not my thing, but my family & visitors love it:)
