This is a gem spot in Tampa. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the food is excellent, and overall the experience is enjoyable. Keep up the great work, Cali!

We are visiting Florida and I found this restaurant by searching for gluten free food. Their menu has lots of options and I love how they label dairy free, gluten free, and plant based. I had a delicious salad with chicken and my husband had the Thai tacos. Our waitress was excellent!

This experience was a bit different than I was expecting, it’s basically another bowl place, but a sit down version. I was really hoping to get a Cali style burrito, but they only had a couple types on the menu. The bowl I got was very serviceable, I would recommend not getting the crunchy chicken, as it was not crunchy and tasted like amusement park chicken. The menu recommends the hot & crunchy bowl with tuna which I should’ve done. The crispy onions were the best part of the bowl and very addicting. Overall, a very slick and no frills menu and eating experience. Not anything super special but not offensive either. Solid 3.5/5

CALI is awesome! It was our first time in and was recommended by a local. I highly recommend it! The lavender hibiscus drink is very nice and I ordered the delicious spicy burrito. Don’t forget a smore cookie- a soft and gooey delight! Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is chill. We will be back soon!

What an experience for our first time! We had Steven as our server. He was incredible. The food was outstanding! We will be back tonight :) we even had the chef come to our table to welcome us and gave us fresh cookies! Amazing!

This was our first Cali visit and we will definitely be back. Our server was very relaxed and attentive, he explained how the menu works and the daily specials. My daughter ordered a bowl the Hot & Crunchy with Udon Noodles and steak, full of flavor and the steak was very tender, my wife and I each tried a different pizza- she had the Hot Honey and mine was the Amalfi, both were crisp and the flavors were balanced perfectly

Had a great first time visit! Servers are super kind and efficient but take their time with each table which is was super refreshing. They are also very aware of allergens and asked us if we had any, which is a step up from fighting other restaurants to even acknowledge them. Food was great! Even though my party can be picky everyone found something they loved. I got the hot and crunchy bowl with steak. It was packed with flavor and the steak was so tender, the best I've had in a while! Owner or Manager gave us free cookies for our first visit which was a pleasant surprise. Overall I can't wait to come again and try more of the menu.

Normally great but today we came and waited for 30 mins and were never told the pizza oven was not working. That was what we came for. Should be mentioned before we waited all that time. Had to order a burrito and asked for extra meat and there was very little.

This restaurant was an excellent choice for brunch, our food was delicious! Highly recommend their Big Italy dish ! The pancakes were very good, kids and us both enjoyed them.

I've been coming here for years. I got the vegan pizza today. I can't describe how good it is, and I'm a New Yorker where we egotistically claim the best pizza. It's 10 stars!

Overall, a good restaurant. Lots of great vegetarian options. Really nice for if you have a dog. You can sit outside and they were kind enough to give us a doggy bowl. The only room for improvement I would say is to have nicer hot sauce options :)

Hands down some of the worst food we have ever tried to eat. I spit my steak wrap into my napkin and threw it away. The spaghetti squash was inedible - like eating pure salt. The chicken was ruined with salt and overcooked. The fries were soggy and disgusting. Not even ketchup could help. The pizza is also in the garbage - too salty, and it just wasn’t good. My family of four will now AGAIN order tonight’s dinner, but from somewhere else. With tax and tip, we spent $110 for food that we threw away. I’ve eaten here many times, but never again. They shouldn’t be selling that. Theft. To the restaurant - don’t blame the delivery service. It was delivered hot and within minutes. In fact, I increased the driver’s tip to more than 20% after I threw away the food.

This place is so good! I used to go to the one in Tampa palms. Took the family to this place and the kids and my husband finished our whole plates!!

The bowl that I ordered was recommended by the server and was mediocre at best. My friend ordered the "So Buff" bowl, which was substantially tastier. The atmosphere wasn't much to speak of. There was a line of crocheted pot holders on the back wall between the kitchen and restrooms that seemed out of place. The tables and seating looked and felt a bit sterile. The service was pleasant. Everyone was nice and accommodating. For my first visit there, the server brought my friend and I fudge cookies. I don't have anything negative to say about CALI, it just didn't knock my socks off. Going back to Cali, Cali, Cali... I'm going back to Cali... Hmm, I don't think so. (LL Cool J reference. I couldn't resist.)

Disappointing. If you like small snacks (really small), high prices and the feeling of getting ripped-off, then this is the place for you! The tiny bites were tasty but there was almost nothing in the bowl and I paid for up charges of $6 for ahi tuna and it only had 4 small cubes of tuna.

Food was incredible! They had awesome vegan options and super kind staff. I wish there was a branch in Co!

Alexis V was Ahhhamazing. I had the spicy Brazilian bowl with coconut avocado rice paired with blackened chicken was just as Ahhhamzing as the service.

One of my go-to restaurants every time I fly into Tampa. Not far from the airport, delicious bowls (Spicy Brazilian is so good!) fast and friendly service, and good vegan options for my friends.

This place is so good! I get the GF Mexican bowl and it’s perfect everytime! I choose this over chipotle anyday!

Visiting mom in St Pete’s. Came across “Cali”. The food was clean unbelievably tasty. The staff amazing especially the manager David- super friendly and Phillip super courteous polite and efficient!

This was my first time at Cali but it definitely won’t be my last. It is my new favorite! So many selections for a whole food, plant based eater. With help from the server, I selected the Brazilian bowl with lentil bites and greens. It was absolutely delicious! My daughter had the popcorn chicken with rice and beans. It disappeared quickly so she obviously loved her meal too. We also got the cookies and again, amazing. I neglected to get my server’s name but he was so helpful, nice and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

Our first time to Cali was a terrific experience. The staff members were so courteous, both the hostess and server. The food was delicious and filling. We especially loved the aguas frescas, which are free refill. They also gave us each a cookie for free because it was our first visit.

Callie is good food, done right! They have bowls, pizzas and wraps . I eat The Mexican bowl the way it’s suggested. I drink the lavender ginger Fresca. (it is a very specific taste) Their cookies are out of this world . They have indoor and outdoor seating. This is a kid friendly restaurant and my children like to sit outside. They eat the chicken and rice bowl and the cheese pizza .They do have crayons and some small papers for them to color on. Thanks Cali for good food every time ! ✌️

CALI is absolutely delicious!! I'm having to hold myself back from buying it again and again. I got the brazilian bowl as well as the hot honey pizza. They were both soo good, I would say the brazilian was better, though. The Max-osas were super yummy as well, we got a peach to share and it absolutely was plenty for two to us to share.

Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. From the hostest welcoming my wife and I into the restaurant with a huge smile. To our server Steven, being friendly, funny, conversational, and accurate with our order. To Chef Zack even stopping by and welcoming us for being first time visitors and chatting with us to. The staff really made us feel like we chose the right place before we even looked at the menu. The food was great and the service was out of this world! I got the fajita bowl and my wife ordered the spicy burrito with fries and broccoli. That broccoli was some of the best I've ever had. We'll be back next time we're in town. Finally made it to Cali for lunch and it exceeded my expectations! Everything on the menu looked delicious- I ended up getting the chips and salsa (seasoned chips and very good flavored salsa), hot and crunchy bowl and mint and cucumber Agua Fresca. It was all absolutely delicious and I would get that exact same combination again. Server was efficient and friendly, food came out super quick and management came over to check on us and our experience. Excellent experience!

Best cookies in town! But seriously , why does this place always ruin my stomache ? It’s like all the ciccio bowls make you bloated and sit on the toilet the next morning. Too much salt? The oils? Seriously who has ate a bowl from Cali, fresh kitchen and taco dirty and felt great afterwards ?

Randomly stopped in for lunch and WOW!!! The most friendly welcome from everyone inside, delicious tea's and juices, and the bowls were extremely flavorful. Walked out with a chocolate chip cookie and almost drove back to get another one. Will definitely revisit.

Loved this place! I had the Hot and Crunchy bowl with steak and sticky rice, at the recommendation of my server, and it was honestly one of my favorite things I’ve ever eaten. So fresh and flavorful, with just the right balance of crunch, texture, and yummy drizzles. The steak was perfectly seared and so tender. Great vibe and such good food. Lots of great options for different types of dietary restrictions, as well. Highly recommend!!!

So good! We come to Tampa once a year and always order from Cali. All the bowls I tried are delicious. My new favorite is the Hot & Crunchy. So good I ordered twice in two days! My hubbys favorite is the Spicy Brazilian. Their hot honey pizza is also delish!

Bam!…. So the broccoli and cauliflower “Lean N' Clean” bowl was off the chain nice! First time having it, it was delicious awesome. I had it with grilled chicken and coconut rice base. Makes your mouth happy 😊

So we actually ate here twice, on back to back days. The food is incredible and fairly priced. It has so much for everyone with many vegan options that are just fantastic. Pizza thin n crispy, Thai salad bangin dressing, lentil bites are actually to die for, and the black bean tortilla burrito is a must have everytime you go! The avo hummus with chips and veggies is delicious, though a bit overpriced. The final pictured item to address is the buffalo cauliflower which was alright, tho I'm just not a Buffalo guy. Definitely recommend checking this place out, free cookies for your first visit...beware they are addictive🤤. Shoutout to the staff that made us feel very welcome.

I found the food good but definitely over priced. It was incredibly loud with piped in music, thus making customers to talk loud to be heard.

Steven, our server was so delightful. The best server ever. His smile a mile wide really represented his work ethic and how he makes guests feel. Food was fantastic. He explained all the dietary references and asked about allergies. Very thorough.

I absolutely love this place. I am obsessed with the So Buff bowl. The portions are great and the flavor is even better. The inside seams spacious. I order online typically, and they always have my order ready by the pickup time. No complaints what so ever. Except parking isn't that great, but it's not their fault so I'm giving this restaurant a 5 star review. The staff is also very nice.

One of the better choices for restaurants in the South Tampa area for food, atmosphere, and service. Stopped in for a quick lunch break from work and was immediately greeted and seated. Our server, Elsie, did a fantastic job ensuring that we understood the menu options and provided recommendations. You cannot go wrong with the chips, salsa, and guacamole here. The Mexican Bowl was full of flavor with the freshest ingredients and very filling! I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area and you’re hungry, Cali will take good care of you.

I came for Valentine’s Day and I’m just getting to writing a review but I just have to say Tay is the best server I’ve ever had. She is the sweetest and super knowledgeable, and the food is good too. This is one of our fave date night spots, would recommend.

Impressed so much went two nights in a row! Summer and Steven are genuinely attentive and friendly and on point food is tasty and fresh. Thursday night the food came in what seemed like a few minutes so that was amazing so last night, Friday night it is expected that it would be a slight wait. But Steven is on top of everything and made sure we had what we needed and he’s funny too. Unfortunately we are just visiting the area and there are no locations on the East coast. Try the Hot and crunch bowl with Tuna!!

Found my new Tampa favourite! As a vegetarian I was shocked at the number of options I had and almost everything could be customized to be vegan. Food came super quick and tastes delicious. Edmarie was my waitress and was so friendly! She had fantastic recommendations and had such a great personality. Food came out very quick and tastes fantastic.

Bailey single handedly saved my dinning experience, I came on the stormiest day of the year but wanted to sit out side. After hearing this she leaped into the sky ripping the clouds apart allowing a single ray of sunshine to come down right on the table I wanted. Amazing service will come again.

Kid has celiac, so great options here (she loves the nuggets) for her and the rest of the food is amazing. staff is great and, like the food, consistent. Oh, and they have beer/wine/sangria. Highly recommend!

California food restaurant. The place is nice and tidy, but it needs to be expanded from the inside. Outdoor seating is full of life. It is considered one of the best restaurants in serving meals. The Brazilian dish is amazing and I can't describe the combination of flavors. Take No. 1. The pork chop dish is exceptional in its seasoning alone.

This spot was a surprising delight. I was looking for healthy food in Tampa, and I’m glad I came here! My server recommended the Thai bowl and I got it with the udon noodle base, no protein. It was crunchy, spicy and saucy in all the right ways. I will definitely be returning!
