Service was excellent and so was the pizza.

Just moved in to the area and came across this great restaurant. We had the white pizza and the calamari rings. The pizza was great and made with amazingly fresh ingredients. The calamari rings were the perfect texture, not chewy at all. The service was quick and excellent. Very friendly employees! We definitely will return in the future!

We always have a fine meal here. The food is served up hot and fresh, with a smile. If you listen closely, you can hear the Italian cooks in the kitchen speaking Italian because that's where they're from. We live a block away and this is our go-to choice when we want a fresh-cooked, hot meal. We've had nearly everything on the menu and have never had a bad experience. They treat you like family here!

It's my opinion that they have the best gnocchi and meatballs around. The service is great and atmosphere is like being home. Enjoy

An amazing restaurant run by friendly staff, I’ve been eating here all of my life and have only had great meals. Their gnocchi has always been a favorite of mine and their bolognese is unbeatable!

We had a large order this past Sunday and all of the food came out great except for the pizza. I got there early and didn't mind waiting for the pie to be cooked, but if this is what they are severing up for pizza, I'll pass on this next time.

Absolutely AWFUL PIZZA!!!!! Service was incredibly rude when I called and asked for a refund, I was told “why would I give you a refund if I know you’re not going to order from us again” after I tried, politely saying I wasn’t planning on ordering from there again as I just don’t like the pizza at all. .. unless you want floppy, gummy, DRENCHED IN GREASE AND HOT SAUCE then this is the place for you.. pictures attached were taken AFTER each pizza I ordered was patted with a paper towel.

The waiter was great. The food was ok. The place needs a good cleaning, and the ceiling tiles have mold and grease covering them they show leaking from the roof. The bathrooms are deplorable. The food is in an open area where any patron can reach in on the way to their bathroom and touch the lettuce, tomatoes, ice, drinks, etc. Outside the back door is a mouse/rat bait box that I wish I had seen before we went inside. I would never go back to this restaurant.

The Capri has been a family-Favorite for several years and today’s late lunch did not disappoint. Our choices were prepared in an authentic, flavorful and pleasing manner. No matter what your choice might be, you won’t be disappointed! Manja!!!

I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed! The food is some of the best Italian in Pittsburgh! We always order the gnocchi with blush sauce and always appreciate how perfectly done the gnocchi is (never mushy or overdone) as well as the T-bone steak which is always made PERFECTLY! We also appreciate how many sides you get with each meal as well as FRESH BREAD! You won’t be let down and will definitely have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Great food, everything is always very fresh. The staff and owners are very friendly and always very attentive to our dining needs with the atmosphere of a family restaurant...home feeling....always welcoming! My favorite is the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo .... they serve fresh baked bread and an awesome garden salad. Keep up the great work, what an established restaurant!

This will be the best pizza you will ever eat in your life and I’ve been all over the place from here to there to Vegas. This restaurant here doesn’t get any better. It is the bomb as they say it is my go to our travel the whole way back from the Caribbean to come here and eat this pizza, there’s a couple other good ones here in the Pittsburgh area Vincents and Joel’s in Greensburg now New York City definitely has some good ones but when it comes to here this is your go to and I mean not 10 stars 100 stars I mean it is in a tight area but that’s where your brush places are at this place is a groovy as hell go there ate their spend your money you spend all of it please it’s my hometown they’re good people with good freaking food. That is hard to find. I love you guys. You’re the best of the best I know I left the book. I love to write read there’s nothing better as my favorite pizza of all times.🙏❤️❤️❤️

We moved here 4 years ago Capri is our go to Restaurant for Excellent italian dinner.

I was visiting with wonderful friends in Pittsburgh, PA and they took me here on my last eve with them. The waitress was so welcoming and friendly. Dinner was wonderful.. my wedding soup was absolutely delicious and came in a huge bowl. I also enjoyed my stuffed shells. Tony and Lynda got the gnocchi and it was also delicious. Of course we all loved the bread. A nice touch is that you can BYOB. Just a nice relaxing dinner in a great spot. You know it is going to be good when you walk in and everything smells delicious. I will definitely go back when back in Pittsburgh!!

Love Capri! Not many real Italian restaurants in our area. My favorite is their chicken alfredo and wedding soup.

This is definitely my go-to Italian restaurant in the area. The small interior is in indirect proportion to the portion sizes of the food. Not only are the servings more than plentiful, it’s absolutely delicious too! This is a great restaurant run by a great family.

Excellent homemade food and campy atmosphere in a tiny place. A lot of take out orders through the kitchen as well.

Spaghetti sauce is very salty. Wish they would use a lot less salt.

I always eat here when in the Sarver area. Spaghetti sauce is out of this world with wonderful meatballs. Salad is crisp and fresh with homemade dressing. A small, clean restaurant with a friendly staff. Yum!

We have never had a bad experience.

This restaurant came highly recommended. I was disappointed by the looks of the outside and inside. The prices suggested a higher caliber atmosphere and the service was less than impressive. I was very disappointed. It would take much to up the game. When I go out, I want to feel special. How I'm treated and the place I'm invited to enter speaks volumes about the respect the proprietor has for me. Respect/consideration goes a long way. I hope this feedback is seen as an opportunity. Everything about this place is amazing. It’s definitely the best Italian joint in the area. The family that owns it is pretty amazing too.

I have dined at Capri several times with nothing but amazing experiences until this evening. Unfortunately our server was very ignorant and ruined our typical great experience. We make an hour drive to Capri because normally it’s worth it. I personally find the food to be the best in PA. I feel bad for the new customers tonight that had our particular server because she does not represent the normal waitress vibes the restaurant offers. She did not want to get us a side of sauce so she stated the restaurant didn’t have it. Well they did but she quoted she didn’t know nor ever have someone question her. I was not sure what to order and asked for more time because I love so much there. Well apparently that won me an eye roll from her.We did confront her behavior because it was inappropriate. Yes I left a tip over 20% like I always do absolutely not because she deserved it. I hope the owners take this review serious because it truly is a-shame when you have one employee that doesn’t follow the normal experience there. Frankly I don’t remember her know likely due to the unfavorable experience. The wait staff always does a top notch experience there. I believe the younger bus staff should take her role.

Excellent food! I had a sampler platter with a few of the main dishes. Ravioli, meatbaĺl and sauce all very good. I've had better lasagna but it still was quite good.

Im not eating many carbs these days so I ordered the cod a la pizzaiola and a salad and fresh steamed spinach for my side. It was all lick-the-plate good !!! Sure wanted that bread and tiramisu though !!!!! Can’t wait to go back. Great service also.

They had real veal parmesan. A very nice size serving and well prepared.

I want to say thank you for making my father's birthday dinner absolutely perfect today! The gnocchi was huge too. That has to be top 3 best Italian dinners we ever had. We have lunch for tomorrow too. Everything is homemade and fantastic. Highly recommended!

update from my last post,!they offer the best bolognese sauce around we've been ordering it for over 20 years!!! They deserve the best review! Chicken pannini is amazing. I'm so glad they reopened. Best Bolognese sauce anywhere. Always worth the drive (for me is an hour away)

Very easy to not see and drive past. But EXCELLENT Italian food. So much better then Villa blanca in lower burrell. Food is packed with flavor, good portions, prices are fair given quality. You can taste the freshness in the food. Side salad with your entree is almost a meal in it's own. Nice salad mix with good amount of other veggies not just a cheapie little pile of iceberg with a tomato wedge. Alittle small and tight inside but oh well, food is 10/10. Forever customer here.

This pizza was soo good. The dough was fresh and the sizes were good. It's a thinner pizza, but was so filling. Being lactose intolerant didn't even play a factor. The cheese on this pizza didn't bother me, unlike other pizzas. The prices are very reasonable and the delivery time excelled expectations. I'm quite impressed with this local restaurant. Great job!!!!!! I will be back. Sorry no pics, I scarfed the food down and didn't want to show a quarter of an empty box. Next time.

My wife & I got the chicken caprese panini & the vegetarian personal pizza & split them. They were delicious! Pizza was loaded with copious piles of ricotta, with broccoli & tomatoes. Painini was jam-paxked with chicken, tomatoes & thick slabs of mozzarella! Very tasty, filling & we had some left to take home. Good prices too.

I've been here twice, the food's always really good... Really large portions and really great Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is pretty laid back, the staff is very helpful and really nice. You can tell they're all working hard together to keep this place going. It's clean and cozy it seems to be doing very well considering it's right next door to another Italian eatery/pub. Oh and it's BYOB... You can bring a bottle of wine and just pay a dollar a glass.

Some of the absolute best Italian food in the area. Everything is delicious from the salad to the desserts. I am usually very picky about food, especially Italian food, but Capri is almost as good as my own Nana's cooking. Quality food, generous portions, excellent menu to choose from, all around great restaurant.

Hands down the best Gnocchi I've had in a very long time, it kinda melts in your mouth! Our server was nice but the attention of the bus boy was top notch! It was a surprise that he was filling drinks and always checking on us as a bus boy but he was great!! Getting 4 stars because some other items weren't that great but that's up to other people tastebuds to figure out.

A friend of mine told me about this place, have seen it many times when going to Phillipies ,..... A true old school eatery .. excellent food, some of the best dishes I've had anywhere.. very good portions and the staff is usually pretty good ... worth the 40 minute drive everytime.. highly recommend this hidden gem

We are frequent diners here. There's nothing I ordered I didn't love! Florence and Michael are friendly and welcoming. The staff are all wonderful and efficient. Always a pleasant dining experience. If you like gnocchi, there's are the best you will have!

Ordered on the app and waited 20 minutes before heading to pick up but ended up waiting 20 more minutes at the restaurant for my order even though the app said my order was ready for pick up. Apparently app isn't real time.gotbmy order home & didn't have the add on I requested but was charged for. Not my most positive experience here.

Beautiful, family run, pizzeria and restaurant, reasonably priced, serving authentic Italian dishes, in a casual atmosphere. Visited from NYC, where we usually have our pick of great places like this, so that is saying alot. We already recommended dining here to others! Came here the first time with my dad, and then again with my husband a few nights ago! He loved it!
