One of my favorite places to catch the sunset on the Hudson. Beautiful views. They have great hiking trails, even city folks will enjoy. They have some cool historic buildings, ample rustic nature and plenty of parking. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice spot for a walk or pignic.

Beautiful place to walk with sweeping views of the Hudson River from Mid-Hudson Bridge to the north and down to West Point in the south. Benches and picnic tables on the grounds. A woodland trail meanders along the Hudson River. Enjoyed investigating what appears to be an old carriage house. Kind of looks like the home of the Addams Family 👻.

Lovely grounds for a morning or evening stroll. The grounds have old buildings. Lovely green grass, and walking trails in the woods. Paved parking area. You can walk your dogs on a leash on paved areas grass and trails.

Museum not open during scheduled hours. Phone seemed to be a cell phone number that wasn't connected to the museum

So this a bit of a hidden gem in wappingers. Lots of wide open space..and not many people. Great view of the NB Beacon bridge and down the Hudson. Only about 2 or 3 miles of trails..but a nice little spot ..and hey it's close to obercreek brewery.

This is a great place to go for a walk or a hike. I just wish the main house had been restored so the historic part of the site meant more.

Definitely a diamond in the rough… be prepared to make your own fun

The sports museum is a great example of amazing jewels forgotten by the local government and some community members. A religious property converted into a educational location now sits as an empty well groomed park. If only more folks invested time and energy into the property to yield back greater payback.

My great nephew is the curator of the museum & he and his dad spent countless hours remolding the museum. They did a wonderful job. Please make a point to go and visit. Walk the grounds of Carnwath Farms, where the Sports Museum is located. This place is Hudson Valleys hidden gem.
