This has been some of the best food I have had in St. Pete! Great portion, good price and great atmosphere! Parking can be a bit tight but worth it!

Small and tight-spaced if your dining in, but the food is fantastic. FLUATAS!!! You gotta try them, and tou gotta try them with every meat option. And don't you leave without that honey habenero sauce! It's absolutely the cherry on top. Get tour butt over there, now!

Longing for LA street Tacos. Visiting my daughter in St. Petersburg Florida and she took me to this cozy little spot. Started with their chips, salsa and queso and immediately knew this was going to be an authentic "socal Mexican" experience. Had their spicy margarita, which was simple, yet "on point" I had their special battered, fried grouper taco, which onto itself was delicious, but the carnitas stole the show!!! Flavor off the chart! Meat was so tender and flavorful. Service was great, staff were fun. such a cool vibe/ambiance. Finished with the churros...yum! Will definitely be back to try their other tacos and dishes. The carnitas and carne asada are really good and full of flavor! The queso and chips are delicious as well. My only complaint is the size of the tacos. Portions are very small but delicious none the less! Id eat here every day if I lived closer. The Chipotles of the world have nothing on this place!

Parking can be tricky, we came around 3 pm and had to park on the street- which is fine, wasn’t an issue for me. The food was soooo good! We tried a few of the tacos, chips n salsa n queso, it was really good, very fresh. the tomato bisque or tomato basil was the soup of the day- it was delicious! I would come back just for the soup. I’ll be back!

The best place in downtown St Pete for tacos. Spectacular service and perfect flavor. Spicy Margaritas very well made. For more authentic food trucks, I also recommend Sabor Mexicali at MLK.

Food was spicier than usual but always scrumptious. Very casual atmosphere... if you're looking for fancy you'll be disappointed. If you want friendly people and a delicious meal with a Mediterranean flair, eat here. Everyone I know that's tried it, returns again and again.

Best tacos in St Pete. Great happy hour between 4-6pm m-th. If they happen to have the coconut shrimp taco and you like coconut shrimp, it’s a must get although not on happy hour. Queso is delicious.

Awesome flavors I hadn't had before

These are James Beard tacos, you hear me? When I tell you this meal was an experience was an understatement. Me & my entire family were left speechless- everything so so fresh, so flavorful, marinated, simple, and the salsas were incredible. My family and I got the nachos, the carnitas taco, pescado taco, carne asada, camarrones, and green chicken tacos, and the bean & rice bowl. Holy hell. Y’all. If you don’t do or eat nothing else during your time here, you HAVE to do yourself & your taste buds a favor can try this food. It’s been 6 hours later and we’re STILL talking about how amazing it all was. Exceptional from start to last bite.

Party of two, one of us got 3 tacos, drink, chips and queso and it was almost $30, the other got a carnitas bowl and It was $13. Tiny place with not a ton of seating and it was warm inside. Food was very good. Service was top notch. Jen was overly kind and took care of us.

Stumbled upon this gem on the way to a Rays game & will definitely be returning. Parking was a bit difficult as it's a small parking lot on a busy road.. also seemed to be very big on to go orders. The food was fantastic, the prices were a bit high but we ended up there during happy hour (Monday-Thursday 4-6pm) $2.50 tacos, we had: barbacoa, chicken tinga & carnitas. My boyfriend had the special fried shrimp taco with pineapple and liked it, but didn't seem like it was worth the $5. All in all, the food was very fresh and looks as good in person as it does the pictures. Will definitely be back anytime, but happy hour is worth it for the price.

I was having a very hard day and Kuno single handedly made my day with his kind service. Thank you kuno and the coconut shrimp taco was delicious.

OMG!! The best tacos ever and the margaritas made just right! Everything so fresh and delicious! We went during happy hour! $2.50 tacos and margaritas, red or white house made sangria $4. The service and atmosphere was exceptional! The best was Trever! He was so sweet and accommodating! We definitely will be back and excited we found this hidden jem in our neighborhood!

I always order whatever the special taco is for the day and a cup of the special soup.I have never been let down.The food is fresh the chips and salsa are so crunchy and thin and the salsa is the right flavor and the price is amazing. THe service is always a 10

Spicy margarita is a must have!

I was excited to try this place out & it was nothing like I'd hoped. It's really a take out place. They serve their food that way & that's how it feels. The beer was warm I ordered a bowl & it was really like a broth. It tasted good but it wasn't a bowl it was more like a soup or broth. The guy behind the bar knew I was disappointed & gave me a side of beans & rice @ no cost. The seasoning was all good but it hasn't got a dine in atmosphere at all & the sin or warm beer can't be over looked. If they couldn't keep up with the beer cooler then he shouldn't have served it otherwise I just think they have warm beer all the time

Always delicious and the staff is wonderful! BUT MAN!! They really need more seating at this location! Especially in the summer!!! Too hot to enjoy our food outside!

Always good tacos and great staff. Their sangrias are pretty popular too! They have a weekly/daily happy hour from 4-6 (I think)- select tacos are $2.50.

Ordered 3 fish tacos. It took a while to get. Once they arrived, the first one was warm. The other 2 were cold. Maybe I will try something different next time.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting friends at this location. I've never been a fan of spicy drinks, but the spicy margaritas are amazing here. The staff was very pleasant and we really enjoyed everything. Thanks so much, I'll be back again soon.

Excellent choice of fresh tacos. Love the brussel sprout taco and the chorizo is excellent with the pineapple salsa. The house soup of the day has never disappointed, burritos are good too. Fast, friendly service, one of my go to taco places.

Decent food, but $18 for 3 tacos + chips and queso is absurd. None of the tacos were even filled fully.

Casita Taqueria is our Go-To taco joint...always nice folks working there, fast service, and the food is outstanding. The carne asada burrito is my favorite and the guacamole is *nearly* as good as what we make at home. Highly recommended!

Heaven on Earth 🌮 Casita Taqueria is hands down a must do if you’re in St.Pete. Peacefully quaint and friendly patio atmosphere . Their food is truly authentic, refreshing and healthy Mexican. Their staff is beyond kind, Trevor is a legend! And their kitchen staff is doing the lords work by despite their well-deserved busy business, always delivering exceptional home-cooked quality food. A lot of stuff is made in-house. Don’t come here if you have bad Taco Bell taste buds, and the real ones will love this place. It is second only to actually going to the coast of Mexico 🇲🇽 and when you’re here it’s like being transported there, good vibes and all!

We were warmly greeted when we entered Casita Taqueria. The cashier went over the most popular items on the menu. I got three tacos: carne asada, shrimp and brussel sprouts. All three were very good. My hubby got the carnitas bowl. The carnitas were well cooked and not too dry and not too wet. There is parking in front and in the back.

Tasty, simple dishes. I left full and happy. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

We saw Casita Taqueria on the way to the Sunken Gardens and decided to give it a try. I knew we were off to a good start by how friendly the young lady was and the time she took explaining all the menu options. We had a burrito with carnitas, a fish taco and chicken taco, potato soup and carnitas taco. As it was our first time there we were given complimentary chips, guacamole and salsa. Everything tasted great and this would be our favorite place if we weren't on vacation.

I do not recommend this place. Traveling and stopped at this taco shop instead of my favorite one down the block because I was already at trader joes across the street. Ordered takeout for me and my mom and discovered when we got back (25 minutes away) that they got the whole order wrong. I asked for all beans instead of rice and they gave me ALL rice. Asked for corn chips and they gave flour. Also, very scant on the meat for both of us, which I guess is good because we specifically asked for carnitas because it was not spicy and what ever we got was spicy, so my mom did not eat the meat. When I called to let them know, they kept me on hold for 5 minutes and I was tired of waiting so I hung up. Also, there was a random radish in my To-go box. I will not make this mistake again. I Do not recommend. I am bummed I tipped them because they got the whole thing wrong. I am so hungry because I had 5 bites and now have nothing for dinner. I wish I had not strayed from my usual taco shop.

Great tacos! We were looking for somewhere new and came across this awesome little place. We ordered our food and was told they would bring it out in ten minutes or so. Two minutes later, we were eating it. The food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

I got the burrito with barbacoa extra pico and a large guacamole. Unfortunate the burrito was blandi had to ask for quite large amounts of lime and salsa Verde. The gave me 1 salsa in a small cup. I had to ordered more salsa Verde and they care me ,50 cup. The atmosphere is surfer vibes all ages were here. This is very Americanizes-mexican they're very bland,, stingy with sauce and limes. I felt a little cautious here because seatings are so close together. The large guac is the redeeming one item that I recommend! Overall In had an ok experience.

This is a great place for flavor filled street tacos! I was craving chorizo tacos and decided to give this place a try. Tried a chorizo, asada, and shrimp taco and sadly the chorizo just was just not up to par with what I'm used to but was still decent. The others were amazing. Super flavorful, fresh, and the queso was decent too. Will be back to try more!

Casita is our go to for delicious, quick and affordable food. We often get it to go on weeknights, and it is ready in ten minutes. The staff is also always helpful and attentive. PSA - Don't sleep on the churros!

Absolutely amazing and delicious. They have spicy and non spicy options. The cheese dip is the best. Almost ordered a whole tub to go. (Not sure if they do that) The staff there are really polite and accommodating. I definitely recommend.

Native Floridian here who knows her way around great FL taco joints. This place is everything you want from a taco shop. Perfect flavors. Chill but clean vibe. And BOMB queso. Trevor was working the register and was so effortlessly helpful. He gave quick recommendations on perfect hot sauce pairings (they make hot sauce FRESH every day… they even keep it in a mini fridge on the counter so you KNOW it’s fresh) and answered questions we didn’t even know we’d have before we even thought to have them. He was so kind and generous and deserves a shout out in this hard-to-find-great-service world. Seriously best taco spot in St. Pete when it comes to service (again, thanks, Trevor) and spot on flavors. Stop reading reviews and just go get the tacos. Trust me.

I saw that this place has good reviews so I gave it a shot, very disappointed that my food was cold to the touch including the meat.

Picked up to-go tacos and they were amazing! This is my third mexican restaurant to try in the area and I may be done trying new ones as I will just come here. I ordered the shrimp, chorizo, tempeh, and beef tacos and ALL were delicious but my favorite was the shrimp. I also super love the homemade hot sauce - specifically the honey habenaro was my favorite. Good price, good food!

FAVORITE TACO PLACE IN ST PETE, HANDS DOWN!! The queso is the best I’ve ever had. I prefer the seafood tacos ( fish & shrimp) and just discovered the side of habenero honey!! Mix some with the queso & it’s incredible. This is definitely my go-to taco place.

I love the atmosphere and local feel; however, lately the quality and quantity have been lacking. Everyone has an off day - I know this. But, the past two times I have been a disappointment. The fish taco I ordered had less than a teaspoon of fish and tiny bits of toppings. The chicken taco was the same. I was disappointed. I don't need massive amounts of food, but I would like enough to fill my tummy. I am a long time customer - since they were across the street. Please fill the taco. Don't skimp.

We eat here regularly and it’s a great, consistently good spot for some tacos or a bowl. The staff up front move quickly but are still kind and helpful. The food is great - I recommend getting a couple tacos so you can try a bunch of flavors (I love the carnitas and the carne asada). The chips are excellently seasoned, and you can’t go wrong with the salsa or queso. The kids meals are a decent amount of food for a good price if you’ve got littles. I also love that you can order online, which makes a quick pickup a breeze (they’re pretty consistently early).

After trying many taco places in town I have come to the realization that nowhere is as good as Casita Taqueria. All of their tacos are incredible. The service is great and the ambience is what I'd expect from a taco spot. You can't go wrong with whatever you order, just don't make the mistake of ordering the small salsa... it's about 3 chip scoops in volume.

Hands down my favorite spot for tacos. Well seasoned food and super friendly staff. 4pm happy hour is a major deal. Tacos are two bucks! I go there at least twice a week. Amazing food.

Small Taco place, nice staff with vegan options. Food was good, place was clean and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. They are convenient located next to a vegetable stand so you can do your produce shopping.

This place is very flavorful! The food is amazing, the tacos are very flavorful and delicious. Can’t get enough of the flavors. Try to go there when I can. But don’t go enough unfortunately.

We ordered tacos and a burrito. My husband got carnitas burrito and pollo verde taco. He recommended carnitas. I had carne asada, pollo verde, and barbacoa tacos. Highly recommend barbacoa. We also got chips and guacamole and salsa. Everything was amazing. Everything was a little bit too salty. Chips were a harder than normal consistency. Would come again

Sadly the only flavor present was salt. Somehow even the chips and salsa were too salty. The carnitas were offensively salty. The Devil’s Handshake hot sauce (said it was smokey) had zero taste or spice. Thankfully the food was inexpensive.

Food was tasty. Tiny little place. Just like everywhere else the prices have gone up. I would recommend that you order to go as there is not much seating available.
