Casualbird is the best spot for someone who is gluten free to get breakfast, brunch, or lunch! So many options, including the French toast, and the gluten free bread is delicious. I had the grilled chicken club and the sweet potato casserole and it was awesome!

Nice place to eat. Food was really good. Loved the Strawberry Matcha Tea and Avocado on toast.

As the name indicates, this is a great casual spot. Modern feel. Great fresh food and amazing coffee. Perfect spot for breakfast and a healthy light brunch.

Usually I try to give out five star reviews since I know how important they can be to a restaurants success, however this location was a bit lacking compared to other restraunts in the area. The food, while nicely plated, was fairly bland. The only stand outs were the chocolate muffins and the casseroles. The workers were pleasant, but service was fairly slow (no fault on their part the location was completely packed.) The atmosphere was nice and pleasant inside, with a food truck nextdoor if you have a sweet tooth. Overall, it was pleasant, but you could easily find somthing just as good nearby.

Stuck to the basics as this was my first time trying breakfast here, I ordered a shot of Espresso and Classic Breakfast Sandwich. (I asked for crispy bacon which is why it is so dark in the picture, I promise it was not burnt lol- it was exactly as asked for) I got the Sourdough bread on my order which was delicious… soft and fluffy just like the eggs on the sandwich. Apparently the bread is not made in house, which I wouldn’t have known without asking because it was certainly fresh… The ladies told me it is sent in from another family owned bakery. The restaurant itself is absolutely adorable, and well decorated. Though the inside looks small, it is very welcoming and well designed. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. This is a locally owned restaurant & well worth supporting.

This is one of my favorite places and they make the best matcha lattes! My favorite is the strawberry matcha latte iced with oat milk! Try it and you won’t regret it. They also have amazing avocado toast.

Cool Lil place. Best breakfast I've had in Daytona. Eggs cooked perfectly. Ton of crisp bacon and only one piece of thick buttered toast. Homemade jellies to die for! $8.50

Just go. Not only is it inexpensive, it's delicious & you get a ton of of food. Wish we had these back home! The hashbrown casserole is sooo good. The hummus platter is great. And the breakfast plate, eggs, bacon, toast, and casserole, chef's kiss.

This place is excellent for breakfast or brunch in the Daytona Beach Shores area! It has an incredible beach vibe atmosphere with fantastic food. We took our daughter here for a birthday brunch and she loved it! The Nutella French Toast is excellent - be sure to try it. The Açaí Bowl was also great. The whole family loved it! If you are in the area, make sure to make this a priority if you want to enjoy breakfast out one morning!

Casualbird was highly recommended by a friend that had recently moved to the area. So when my family had a few days in Daytona we knew we had to make it a priority to stop in. I’m not much of a morning or breakfast person but when I saw the menu I knew we had to make an effort to head on over and try several things. First up was the Chicken and French Toast. The sweet and savory were a great combination; and that whipped honey orange butter was stunning. Next, I’m a self proclaimed connoisseur of anything with sprouts and avocado on it. So when I saw the Spring Fresh Avocado Toast and the Turkey sprout sandwich had them on it of-course they were another must try. The Spring Fresh Avocado Toast was a 10/10 in my book! From the challah bread to the dash of lemon juice. All the flavors just went so well together. Don’t forget to dip the avocado toast in the blue cheese dressing either. You won’t regret it. Finally we tried the peanut butter, honey, and banana toast. Once more all the ingredients were so fresh and simple but the combination made the sandwich stand out to me as something I would order again. Everything we tried was absolutely *muah*! If you’re in town make it a point to hit up casualbird. You won’t regret it!

Waited 45 mins for very mediocre food. A grilled cheese and two sandwiches that were just the most basic grocery store ingredients loosely thrown together. Their sides made my stomach hurt.

We come for Emma. She’s a gem. We love her. the food is good too. Come well before close so it’s relaxing. Loved this place and the workers and the food. They are always so sweet to my daughter and I. The food is always consistent and great sizes and taste. The place is cute and orderly. I only wish they had a table away from road for us sensitive people in case we wanted to sit outside but it’s way too hot for us at the house now that it’s summer. Chicken sandwiches rock. Salads rock. Broc salad rock. Coconut shrimp is great it’s like aunt catfishes, as they’re related. My girl loves the French toast and everything we've had we loved. We’ve Been about 25 plus times since opened. The ice cream truck in the parking lot is absolutely amazing also and I can’t recommend the spot an office one of the only places I go to in Port in Orange my little daughter is a huge fan of the girls who work here especially the blonde I always forget names sorry. We love the place! Thanks for being so awesome all the time! Take out or dine in it’s always great.

My husband and I were totally hooked. We love this place and then we ordered a turkey melt to go and when I was eating at the car, it felt so greasy and I looked in it after I eaten a third of a sandwich and the bacon was raw it wasn’t cooked at all. It was raw bacon. I called and spoke to the manager and my stomach was super upset. Not psychological, but good old-fashioned upset stomach from eating raw bacon. I called and spoke to the manager the next day explained I didn’t want to refund. I just didn’t want it to happen to anyone else. She was extremely iced and apologized and explained that they were training a new cook. I’ve actually been afraid to go there since then I think I’ll try it again one day, but I definitely won’t order anything with bacon. Oh, the description online and in the restaurant for the turkey mount states crispy bacon.

Breakfast options were awesome. Coffee was amazing. Drinks available were perfect. I even bought my new favorite beach pants here okayyyyy.

Coffee is hot and great flavor. I had the Nutella challah toast with fruit and it was fresh and delicious. The staff was very warm and even called me to confirm how I wanted my coffee and they got it just right!!

Took our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson for their first visit. Drinks came out pretty quickly. Food followed not too long afterwards.... great for a Saturday at noon! Everyone loved the food they ordered. We shared bites and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend!!

Each member in my party had nothing but great things to say about the food they ordered. I got French Toast and fried chicken. Both were phenomenal. The orange butter was out of this world, and the chicken was seasoned to perfection. The food comes out as it is prepared (even if you order the same thing as someone else), so don't expect everyone in your party to finish at the same time.

Super cute place right over the Dunlawton bridge! Excellent menu, service and food! We tried the coffees and breakfast menu. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. The staff is super sweet and professional! So happy to find a perfect breakfast/lunch spot! We sat outside with an umbrella table. 😎

I really like this place. This restaurant byfar has the best value for regular iced coffee right now. In my opinion, it's better quality than Starbucks right across the street - better coffee, larger serving, lower price. It's easy to study here if you bring headphones and is also a good casual hangout spot for friends. What I really wanted to comment here though is that I would like to see management start stepping up and refusing service to customers. There was a man who walked in with his dog. The dog wasn't even on a leash. The dog came up to my table and started eating paper and crumbs off the floor. The restoration of social order starts there. Something happened Post-Covid where a lot of people now think they can freely listen to music or videos in public and bring their dogs into food service establishments completely unrestricted. Customers should not bear the responsibility of correcting socially unacceptable behavior.

I stopped in here for some breakfast and a Filthy bloody Mary. I loved the little place great atmosphere.

If you are in Daytona this is the place you want to come for breakfast! Wow! Can’t say enough about it. The service was excellent, the food was hot and delicious, coffee was perfect and the atmosphere is unbeatable. I’ll never be in Daytona without coming here every morning!

For a while, I thought my mouth had lost all taste until I tried the Casual Bird in Port Orange. I am not a big sandwich person, but my husband and I decided to give this place a try. Words can't describe the party going on in my mouth after taking a bite. Not only was the sandwich outstanding, but the sweet potato casserole side was just like eating a fresh pumpkin pie. I ordered the Summer Breeze, which includes roasted turkey, brie, apples, and is served with cranberry mayo. The place is super clean, and the food was neatly presented even for a to-go order. The pickle was crispy and fresh! Thank you to the team serving up terrific food over there.

Outstanding. We had the small surf and spring avocado toast. Topped with a breakfast cocktail. Maybe some of the best breakfast ever - and we love going out for breakfast 😍 Definitely a must try in Daytona Beach. Great ambience and vibes. Would be a regular if I lived here. Wow! Amazing food all around. We stopped in with a party of four for brunch and were all impressed. I had the turkey melt with added fried egg. The portion was huge (I could only eat half), and the broccoli cheese salad was some of the best I've had. All ingredients were high quality. They were quite busy, but the service was friendly and prompt. Definitely check them out if you get a chance!

Was an unexpected surprise. Thought it was sit down service but it is actually where you order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. Food was really good and coffee was on point. Really laid back casual joint for breakfast or lunch. Only negative is it can get realy loud. Would go here again.

First time here on Saturday. Absolutely love the vibes and decor. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had! The French toast was excellent as well. We loved the coffee so much we came back on Sunday for more!

My family and I were grateful to find this sweet spot! Lovely design. Lots of interesting food that juxtaposes other greasy diners in the area. However, the food is highly overpriced for the portions. We had to go back and order seconds - which meant our bill was quite high. And our eggs were definitely under-seasoned. We’ll definitely be back to try some other dishes and give them another shot!

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Possibly the best cappuccino in Daytona! One small improvement they can make is offer more fresh, non-sugary drink options for kids, and non-caffeinated tea options in general.

This place is perfect for brunch. I recommend getting there during the week and trying their complimentary bread pudding. But save me some because it goes fast! Oh, and remember to save room for ice cream.

The usual sleek modern white style for "trendy" restaurants but everything was clean so no harm there. The food itself was delicious which is the most important thing! The sweet potato casserole is amazing and a great side selection.

Sat outside for brunch after walking on beach. I had a turkey panini with avocado. So much I could only eat half. My husband had egg, sausage & cheese sandwich. Both were very good and well worth the price. Great atmosphere. Really quaint on the inside!

It’s a cute place, I spent about $18 for matcha and a dipping plater. Their sandwiches and salads look very good but are $10+. If anything you’re paying for the branding but it’s nice to have a cute place in Daytona. Service is good, a member of my party had to ask for her drink because we waited about 30 minutes for it.

I purchased a farm club, blueberry muffin, and a cheese Danish. Everything was really good. They had a free sample's area that they change out with different dishes every day. Today was a delicious bread pudding. Outside was a nice casual eating area. Complete with watering bowls for your dog. Overall, it was a very nice presentation. I will definitely be going back!

Came here on a Tuesday morning. Wasn’t super busy, service was fast. Staff was friendly and nice. We ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and a caramel latte. The sandwich was really good, the bread is fresh. The caramel latte was good as well, it wasn’t too sweet. I would like to try some different foods on the menu so I will most likely be back. I would recommend. There is parking on the side. They also have a cookie/ice cream truck in the back that I have tried before, it is delicious!

The food here is amazing, but the seating is very limited and theyre basically always packed. Come ready to scout for a table and parking spot. There is a little ice cream truck outside as well, though I have not had a chance to try it yet. There is also a beautiful flower mural outside, great photo op. Highly recommend this place.

My wife had a hair in her sandwich. Understanding these things happen. The employees response. We will make another one. Yeah right. Who wants eat after finding a long black hair in your food. Should have giving a credit or refunded. Never going back !!

Update: got to try the Casualbird’s coffee and a cinnamon roll. They were excellent! The caramel macchiato was perfection! The restaurant is a bit small inside and set up to take food to go, but overall very clean and friendly staff. Previous review: Haven’t gotten to try the casual bird’s food yet, but their little ice cream truck out behind the restaurant is such a treat! We enjoyed their fresh chocolate chip cookies and hand dipped ice cream.

This was a good place to stop at for brunch before my drive back home, as it was right before the entrance to the highway. I was a little underwhelmed though after seeing so many rave reviews. I wish the menu would indicate that the broccoli salad contains bacon, because I don't eat bacon and later had to have my side exchanged for the sweet potato casserole which I thought was just okay. The sides menu felt very limited to me. The salad looked so good, it's a shame there isn't a vegetarian option for it. I also ordered the brie apricot grilled cheese and I wish the sandwich was bigger for the price. It was very small and thin, and left me still feeling hungry afterward. I may come back in the future to try some of the other menu options, since looking around at other tables of what other people ordered made me kind of regret what I ended up going with.

We loved this place!!! Taste food, personal very nice , and atmosphere kindly, clean , I ordered apricot and hot Brie cheese sandwich and my boyfriend 3 eggs with sweet potato and sausage. Everything were great!

I would recommend looking at me before you come in. When you walk in you are expected to know what you want to order. The menus are handy at the door. The place is very quiet inside, so it’s easy to hear the next person conversation. It’s very cute inside but the food was rather bland to me. Also, the jam and the sweet potato casserole is ridiculously sweet. I spent $49.25 and the majority of our food we got to go, because I feel wasteful, throwing it all away.

First time visiting for lunch today counter service was extremely friendly as a big fan of bread pudding was especially surprised when we were told about the free bread pudding which was excellent my wife had the chicken tenders I had the sunshine off the grill sandwich both meals were excellent we will be back

A cute restaurant among all the traditional seafood restaurant along with ocean. If you like trendy restaurants with tasty food I recommend stopping in!
