Almost didn’t stop but I remembered I had this place stopped and it was high recommended on a few different YouTubers i watch. Ice cream was so creamy and flavorful! The idea of creating such perfection with the islands endless supply of coconuts is perfect and flavorful. You won’t even notice you’re eating dairy free ice cream. Thanks for such delicious scoops

The owner was rude and stared at us to force a tip, even though there was no table service. The ice cream tasted like it came from a supermarket and charged us almost $10 with 2 tiny scoops. Totally a tourist ripoff!

We were starving by the time we got this far on the road to Hana. We got the Original Coconut, Honey Mac Nut, and Pineapple Banana. The coconut was awesome…wasn’t overpoweringly sweet. The pineapple banana tasted mostly like pineapple which I liked because I don’t really like bananas. The honey mac nut tasted mostly like honey…my wife really liked the flavor of that one. Tasty, cool treat on the way to Hana. Definitely recommend stopping!

My wife was really eager to grab a fresh coconut to start our Hawaii trip so we pulled over at Coconut Glen’s. Unfortunately, we left really disappointed and with a bad taste in our mouth. To begin with, the man in the van was on the phone and didn’t greet us, which is fine. I’m sure locals get tired of tourists. I started asking questions like “how much” and “do we pick our own coconut” but received very short, annoyed responses in return. Once we paid he angrily stepped out of the van, grabbed 2 coconuts and chopped the tops off without saying a word, hands them to my family and walks back inside the van. The whole time I’m thinking “what did we do?” One of the coconut’s juice was dull while one was slightly sweeter. One coconut had “meat” while the other one was just skin. Since he picked them for us, it made my mother-in-law think “did he give us a bad one on purpose?” Even though that’s very unlikely, it really put a damper on our trip and it stuck with us. Food: 3 cause 1 coconut was sweet, 1 was not. Service: should be 0. Atmosphere: 2 cause the setup is cool and there was a nice orange cat hanging around

So worth the stop. We did the road to Hana twice and after the first stop here we just had to come back! The coconut and lilikoi flavors are incredible, and we even were able to get a bowl of pineapple they cut up fresh for us!

*A Hidden Gem on the Road to Hana!!!* If you’re driving the Road to Hana, this family-owned ice cream stand just past mile marker 27 is a must-visit. We stumbled upon it by chance, drawn in by the few cars parked there, and decided to check it out. The menu immediately caught my eye, especially the Ube and original coconut flavors. They also offer various types of banana bread, but we opted to stick with the ice cream. The ice cream was smooth and delicious, a perfect treat for the hot weather on the way to Hana. Make sure to stop here at least once while enjoying your journey on the Road to Hana—it’s a delightful surprise you won’t want to miss.

The coconut ice cream is an absolute must have! Plus, Amber is amazing! We arrived at our VRBO late at night after a long day of travel and were locked out. Amber welcomed us into her home to use the phone/wifi and even offered us a place to sleep if we couldn’t get in. Amber, and Coconut Glen’s, embody Aloha!!!! Enjoy and support this place BIG TIME!!!

Amazing banana bread and perfect break

Pulled over for banana bread and coconut milk... didn't disappoint! Bread was moist, slightly sweet, full of banana flavor...I got no nuts because I prefer mine like that. People running the show were full of aloha and smiles. Highly recommend to stop in and try!

Have been stopping here over the years since we made our first visit in September of 2015. Really a must top along the Road to Hana (or on your return trip if you aren’t doing the full loop).

This Ice cream is really amazing! I am from San Francisco so I've had my fair share of vegan ice cream but usually it doesn't hold up to the real thing, but this is really something else! The stop has easy parking and very cute places to sit. There are also some places to take cute pictures. The local cat is also really adorable!

This is an absolute must-stop for anyone taking the road to Hana! All ice cream is gluten free and vegan. I had a scoop of pineapple banana and a scoop of the flavor of the day, which was vanilla with dried rose petals and cacao chips. It was completely unique and absolutely splendid. I also got a coconut to drink from and she cut it open when I was finished so I could eat the meat. The lady working that day was super friendly and the whole place had a great vibe. And if that wasn't good enough, I got to enjoy my dessert with the company of Sergeant Butterscotch, a local cat who hangs around the shop. Very sweet boy.

Great place with good ice cream but white refined sugar is not vegan so idk who's telling all these people it's vegan....but I guess it's vegan if the vegan doesn't actually know right?

We stopped by Coconut Glen's on the road to Hana last week. We all got a scoop of the coconut and a scoop of the lilikoi. Both were amazing but the lilikoi was by large all of our favorites!! The texture and taste was incredible! I wish I could take it home with me and eat it every day.

Tried their Original Coconut & a scoop of Pineapple. Tasted great. Would recommend a quick stop on your drive through Hana if you like Coconut icecream.

The ice cream here is awesome. They have Vegan options, and the coconut ice cream is soo good. They had cats, rooster, and dogs here all friendly and just hanging out. I would recommend stopping for a stretch and a treat.

Stopped here while returning from the road to Hana. We tried the coconut and lilikoi flavors, the price is $8 for 2 flavors. Nothing extraordinary, but the homemade ice cream was good and not too sweet.

A nice place on the Hana Highway to have refreshing coconut. The place also has limited bakery items and ice creams. Coconut is $10 each but they are jumbo size. Ice cream scoops are $8 but they are Vegan.

Great place to stop on your way to or from Hana if you want coffee or ice cream. Make sure to give sergeant butterscotch and captain caramel some good pets.

Fun place to stop on way to Hana. Ice cream was exceptional. Would have given 5 stars but they wouldn't give out samples. What ice cream shop doesn't do that for $4 per tiny scoop ice cream? We also bought some apple bananas which were good too. No place to sit and eat except some stones.

This is a good stop to get some ice cream on the Road to Hana especially when it’s warm outside. I decided to get ginger lemongrass and banana rum raisin. I never had ginger lemongrass but it tasted good with the banana rum raisin. Excellent service. Almost everyone we saw, also stopped for a snack.

Please stop here if you’re taking the road to Hana. You’re not only stopping for the best coconut ice cream, you’re stopping for an experience. This place was wonderful. And with ice cream so good it’s worth the drive, you must try it yourself.

We stopped by for the ice cream. We had no clue it was vegan (there were signs, we just didn’t pay attention until after we finished!) until we left! The Lilikoi Ice Cream was incredible, they obviously use real and local lilikoi! We also got the coconut. It was good but the lilikoi takes the cake! Parking was very easy as well

I had to stop here twice. I haven't spent this much money on ice cream in a long time. They had really interesting flavors and they’re super creamy. My fav was the lemongrass.

Super fun stand on the road to Hana. We got a proper coconut and the woman opened it right there for us to drink. I do wish the coconuts were cold - I’m not sure if that is something they could do but it would be a lot more refreshing.

Roadside ice cream truck along the Road to Hana in Maui. All of their ice cream is coconut based. They have about 8 flavors and we tried most of them in my group. They were all delicious. There is no wifi here so bring cash to pay. Highly recommend this stop.

What an awesome place! A great spot to stop by if youre driving the Road to Hana. Refreshing, handmade vegan Coconut Ice Cream (a variety of flavours) and hand cut coconuts for you to drink from, and eat (if you want, they will chop it open too). There's lots of parking space, chairs to enjoy your treats and lots of cute cats on the property. Make sure you get there early, or they might sell out of a few flavours! Thanks again for the unique experience.
