Always a great time sitting outside for breakfast

For the downtown location only.. Only order pancakes if you want to dine in and not takeout like I did. According to The red head college bro working at the downtown location, in the outside seating area, pancakes, yes pancakes, take the longest to cook. At least ten minutes according to bro. Kid was a jerk and needs a lesson in customer service. I commented to him that I think they forgot our pancakes and in true bro fashion said no way, totally dismissing me. Asked how long I been waiting and just said that wasn’t long enough 🤦‍♂️. “We make them from batter”. I wanted to laugh in his face. Mind you I saw him to go the kitchen thereafter and the cook wasn’t even back there. He started to cook a few minutes later. Again, I could see all of this taking place. All in all 22 minutes for pancakes. When bro dropped them off to me (to-go), I jokingly said they forgot didn’t they. He got super mad energy, aggressively said “no they didn’t forget have a nice day”. No sorry for the wait, nothing. Major attitude and douchebaggery. Won’t go here if this jag is working. On top of all that some I got some busted a$$ burnt pancakes for like 13 bucks. These look like some 10 minute pancakes!!🤦‍♂️ Btw, I was there very early, no major rush. Maybe 1 person ahead of me, but I was the last to get my complete order after about 10 people got coffee and food, lol. 10 minute pancakes 😂😂. What a clown show. Visit the Pasadena location. They are super nice and can cook unburnt pancakes in less than 22 minutes. Definitely not going back to downtown.

Ok, I rarely leave reviews but I just have too. This morning I had the pleasure in tasting their quiche for the first time. I am a quiche fanatic, having a Eastern French step mother that spoiled me forever. By far one of my favorite food. I have eaten quiche all over the world and Craft Kafe ranks in my top 3! Absolutely incredible... I actually had to have another slice!

Gluten free goodies in a cool venue. Music is awesome, vibe is chill. Food could be better and they need more flavor choices but if you're celiac, it's a safe alternative.

Cute cafe with fantastic outdoor seating and loads of gluten free options, savory and sweet, breakfast and lunch, the options were almost overwhelming! Best gf bread I have ever had.

Loved this cute little cafe that was a 9 minute walk from the St. Pete Pier. So many vegan options that were very healthy and fresh. Will definitely be back when I visit St. Pete again.

Food is good, but a bit pricey. Service is hit or miss. First few times the staff was simply amazing—like the best in the area, but recently went downhill. Last couple times in was busy yet only one register open, employees standing around and was ignored several times when attempting to ask questions or place order.

Love coming here for the gluten free blueberry hand pies and a nice strong coffee. Broccoli quiche is super good too. Staff is friendly. The atmosphere is chill.

If you eat gluten free or have celiac , this place is one of, if not, your best option in the area! I had multiple items from the menu and each were excellent. I can’t wait to come back more in the future.

Really delicious food! My mom is gluten sensitive so it's difficult for us both to eat at a restaurant AND enjoy the flavors. We both loved this restaurant, and appreciated all the variety in menu items. We are from out of town but will definitely come back to this restaurant when we visit St. Pete's again. The portions are pretty good size for the price! The salads are very filling. I ordered the chicken Avocado salad and my mom got the mushroom quiche and and muffin. The food came out quickly and piping hot!

Pastries, muffins and all else are delicious and indistinguishable from non-gluten free. Amazing.

I'm so thrilled that they are GF. They carry some tasty pastries. I think they can try to make some healthier ones though, and carry light roast espresso.

My mom recommended Craft Kafe to try while we visited St. Pete and glad we came here! My boyfriend and I just got the basic Craft breakfast sandwich and Iced Chai lattes. The breakfast sandwiches are just WOW, bigger than we expected and very yummy. You can't even tell the bread is gluten-free. The only odd thing about the building is where the ladies bathroom is located, which is to the left after you enter past the walk-in cooler (in case anyone might be wondering 👍) Wish we had been in town longer to try their amazing variety of pastries!

If I could give this place an extra two stars, i would!! Me and my boyfriend come here every week for a breakfast pizza and a coffee and we tell everyone about it. The staff is so friendly, ALL the food is amazing and not your typical “gluten free” options. Amazing service every time. We love Craft 🥰

Love the concept, great food and Gluten free for my wife is amazing. The inside seating and atmosphere is not my cup of tea. No Ambience at all and it look dirty and cramped up inside. Outside tables are dirty old and uncomfortable.

Delicious gluten-free spot downtown! We went here due to my friends being gluten-free. Wow, for someone who doesn't go to places for that, it was amazing food. I got the breakfast sandwich that was top-notch. In my top 3 breakfast sandwiches. Wonderful atmosphere and wide variety of baked goods.

This place is heaven. Having been recently diagnosed as gluten intolerant I have missed the joy of cake and Craft Kafe has restored it. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you.

Great food options if you’re gluten and/or dairy free. Located in the centre of downtown, good value breakfast items and good variety of cakes and vegan pizza slices etc. Wasn’t a fan of the coffee though as I’m from Australia. The almond milk was watery and sweet, coffee bitter. Sorry Good service. Thanks :)

Great people and awesome coffee

This outdoor seating is gorgeous and every single breakfast item looked delicious. We got 2 slices of quiche and it was the best we ever had, well worth the price. The coffee was strong and tasty. Magical place to start the day.

What a relief it is to walk into this place, and know you can order any item from their menu without to worry about gluten or even cross contamination. Everything they have is gluten free, which is a huge help to accommodate for a person with celiac. The food was really good, and all the staff was nice, we enjoyed eating outside on the patio tables. I wish they were more places like this one.

Really tasty food, high quality ingredients.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and service was great. I liked the interior vibe, outdoor seating and seating inside the beautiful building lobby. Cons: I had the egg, cheese, and chicken sausage sandwich with avocado spread on gluten free bread. The bread had a terrible after taste and strange structure. I had to throw it away.

EDIT NOVEMBER 2023: We got our engagement photos here because we come here so much. The staff here is so awesome, they made us latte art with our faces and they let us take pictures everywhere even while they were closing. You can tell they really care about the customer experience. Best cafe ever. Awesome gluten free and dairy free options! Their dirty Chai latte is great. Cool atmosphere in a great part of town!

Pro tip: they have much more varieties beyond the menu if you go into the restaurant. Really enjoyed the spinach and potato pies!

We come here a few times a week for coffee and maybe a bit to eat. The food is always delicious and fresh, the coffee never disappoints, but it's the friendly staff that really keeps us coming back.

Best gluten free pastries in all Tampa/Clearwater area. I have a wheat sensitivity and it’s hard to find good quality gluten free food. And even harder to find something that’s tastes good, and this place is really good at that. It’s really good. Plus the coffee is high quality, good espresso. Fully worth the trip or just checking out. Everything is made from rice flour they mill in house, which is a great bonus. ♥️

There are so many great coffee shops in St. Pete, but this one is very special. Insanely good gluten free foods. Also, their lavender latte is ridiculously tasty. It is so close to the co-working spot downtown and also the St. Pete pier. I loved my beautiful morning walks downtown to grab coffee here.

Amazing!!! The staff was so nice and kind. They made sure everyone in our party had what we needed the pastries we had were 100/10!!! Wish we lived closer but totally worth the drive.

Been going for a few years now for the bakery items for the office and clients. Your cinnamon roll has always been top notch and the main attraction. The new style I am sad to say is just not worth it. Dry and hardly any flavor, the icing was the best part unfortunately. Please go back to the old way. I did get the cherry hand pie and pumpkin which I hear was great as always from the staff.

My absolute favorite breakfast/lunch spot in downtown St. Pete. I have celiac disease so finding a gluten free restaurant with tasty gluten free food can be difficult. Everything here is amazing. Their bread, omelette, sandwiches, and don’t forget their amazing desserts!! I love the outdoor seating and they’re very pup friendly!

Amazing food, beverages and customer experience!

This place is amazing! It is by far, our favorite place in town for breakfast and brunch. The omelettes and potatoes are great and always come out steaming hot. We also like the quiche and breakfast pizza. The pastries are to die for. We especially love the hand pies but everything else is great also. Everything is gluten-free, but don’t let that fool you. You would never know . We just can’t say enough about this place and try to come here at least a couple of times a month. Service is excellent as well. It’s always busy, but there is plenty of outside seating.

The food is so bad. The lattes are pretty bad. The atmosphere is great. The atmosphere, desserts, and local people working here take this 1-star review and salvage it to be at least 3-stars… but we need to be honest still on how bad some things here are.. especially when it’s on the main/prime corner in town. The muffins and gluten free snacks / quick bites are the saving grace to this place.. Easily the worst vegan/veggie burger that i’ve eaten over 17 years of being vegetarian. My advice: Try the snacks. Skip the rest.

Ok so first off, the best vegan pizza ever. Secondly, Stephanie (glasses and blonde streaks) is so thoughtful and helpful that I look forward to my visits there because she brightens my day. The avocado toast with tomato jam is really yummy too!

There is only one thing I really have to say about Craft Kafe, 100% gluten free. Everything from the soup and sandwiches to the baked goods. All of it is GF! Not only that, their food tastes GREAT! I love their sandwiches and they have a huge selection of baked goods and pastries to choose from. I recommend Craft Kafe to anyone on a gluten free diet. The staff are always incredibly friendly and their food tastes wonderful! Even the gluten eaters that joined me at Craft Kafe enjoyed the GF food!

Best spot for people watching in downtown. Good is great, service excellent.
