Love Carmen! California burrito is bomb and the service is great. I recommend this to anyone paying through or for lunch if u work nearby like myself :)

My friend and I went to Ayah's food truck Cubamex yesterday, August 29, 2024 for the very first time! They used to be located along del prado close by the gas station and coralwood shopping plaza, but they moved to pondella rd in n ft myers right next to kyle's smoke shop! We each ordered their chicken street tacos, pupusas (their best seller), lumpia (fried egg rolls usually made with beef or pork), and pineapple juice. Being a filipina myself, I appreciated the different cultures and selections she had that you could choose from off the menu! Items included quesadillas, burritos, cuban sandwiches, sides, and many more! The price wasn't bad either for what my friend and I each ordered. We waited for about 15 minutes for everything and it was worth the wait! The food came out nicely cooked, piping hot, and was seasoned very well. Their chicken tacos were full of flavor especially when you added the salsa. I loved their salsa verde the most and the red salsa really came with a kick too (if you like spicy? It definitely is SPICY)! I asked for my pupusa to be made with beans and cheese along with the curtido on top and salsa rojo! The edges had a nice crisp to them and tasted delicious. Next time I'll have to try the seasonal tamales whenever they have them in stock! Please try the lumpia too if you want to try a filipino staple / appetizer! Filipinos will make them differently when it comes to what's inside them, but I liked it! I can't forget about the pineapple juice. That was THE BEST juice I've ever tried. It wasn't too sweet which I loved and it was very refreshing. It was fresh and didn't taste like it came out of a carton or can. Ayah is a hardworking mom and friendly too! You can tell she wants to provide the best food / service to all her customers! Please come and support her and her family's business! I promise it won't disappoint! I will be coming back again! 10/10 all around!

I ate today for the first time in this place...the truth is I have eaten in many food trucks everywhere and I have to admit that this is the best Cuban food I have eaten so far, good price, almost exact to what I make in my house hahaha and look, I'm demanding, they earned my 200%. The truth is, this place is worth visiting. Thank you 😘😘😘

From someone who works in the food industry I can tell you just come here this is an absolute yes price is good the food quality second to none first taco truck I try here in Cape Coral and it will be the last absolutely delicious check these guys out!!!!

Being a food truck parked at a gas station I was surprised by the quality of the food. To follow suit with other reviews the Cubano sandwich is delicious. But the wait is a bit excessive, over 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches.

Really good! I stop by and get food from here every now and then. I like the different flavors from different places. People working there are very nice and very friendly. I will definitely be stopping by again to try something new. There's a lot to choose from on this little truck. ¡Muy bien!

Great Cuban/Mexican food truck. I ordered the Cuban bacon sandwich and it was very good. My wife ordered the chorizo burrito and said it was the most flavorful burrito she’s ever had. I’ll be a regular, for sure.

10/10 would recommend. I got a beef burrito, and it was most likely the best burrito I've tried. I also tried my girlfriend's carne asada burrito and it was even better! Will for sure get that next time. I never knew that putting congri rice on a burrito would make it so much better. The burrito had lots of flavor, and the price is very reasonable, considering that the burrito that is around $8 was so filling that me, my girlfriend, our friend all struggled to finish our burritos. I highly recommend trying this food truck out and I will for sure be coming here often!

Usually pretty good. It depends on who is working because I have been buying lunch from Cubamex the last year and it's hit or miss. The Asada tacos, either the meat is all chewy fat or the tortillas taste raw like they weren't put on the grill. Pan con bistec is good sometimes.But overall they are ok.

Sandwich Cubano and tacos? Can't go wrong, pretty good too.

This truck knocks it out of the park! As a Mexican married to a Cuban this hits home for us. I’ve had the pupusas, burrito, Cuban sandwich, and tacos. Authentic taste, priced right, made to order, friendly service. I haven’t had to wait longer than I would expect for fresh food. If I wanted fast food I’d go to McDonald’s. I’d wait as long as it takes for the quality and taste of the food served here.

Most amazing Cuban sandwich I’ve ever ate!! I am Cuban and new to the area. The mix of Cuban & Mexican caught my eye. I honestly didnt think it would be up to my standards on the Cuban, but surprisingly it was beyond them!! Fireeee Cuban sandwich!! (And they aren’t even Cuban) but he stated (the owner) he dated his fare share of us✔️.. he will see me back soon when In town again. I recommend this spot to everyone. #JacksonBabies

I’ve driven by this food trailer over 2 yrs and I can honestly say I’ve been missing on some good food all this time🤦🏻‍♀️ I had their Salvadorian gorditas and their carne asada and it was amazing! Great flavor! I loved it !
