Okay love these donuts. They are delicious and lots of variety s. I would strongly recommend however, it is takeout only and the building needs updating.

Heard about how great this place is. My family and I decided to go Saturday. We got there at 10:30 and nobody was there. (They close at 11) I get starting to close up 10-15 minutes before closing time. But not a soul 30 minutes before closing? Without a sign or anything? Also, was disappointed to find that your prices don’t match whats on Google and etc!

It was 12:45 on Friday when we arrived. They only had less than a dz extra large donuts! We end up getting 2 cinnamon twist .. they were not soft and a little tough to eat. Chocolate cinnamon rolls … delicious. Lemon filled donuts, and king donut. Cost about $25 Go here for the cinnamon rolls. So delicious! I debated if I wanted to go to parlor but for the price and the cinnamon rolls, worth going east from the navy base! Second trip: June 14 at 10:30am on Friday morning . Over half sold out 😞 We ended up with the yeast donuts! Just 1/2 dz was over $9. Each $1.49 Everyone enjoyed the donuts

I went last week and got an apple turnover and as I drove I kept saying at least four or five times 'this is the best donut I've ever had'. Yes, costs since covid have skyrocketed but I'll tell you--the taste was earth-shattering.

This morning as we’re walking up to get some of our favorite donuts around, Dan-d had closed they had sold out of the donuts wel we turned around to get back in the car and the sweetest elder gentleman had brought out and patiently waited for me to finish buckle ups to had me some cookie sandwiches one for eat of my three littles! Saying how he just couldn’t stand seeing them leave empty handed and it just goes to show why me and my family not only have used Dan-d for YEARS (now three generations of us) and the service is beyond anything else I’ve yet to try! And why we LOVE our small business owners around downtown Panama City Fl!

It started raining and I was at the counter. There is a drive thru. I ordered basic glazed cinnamon twist and donut. The service was quick. The twist was not fresh out oven taste but It was around 10am when I ordered. It had a good flavor and I would recommend.

Well I grew up in Panama City me and my wife was there just visiting my mom and in-laws but I always have to go by dandee donuts every time I'm in Panama City Florida what a great family I can't remember the old lady's name but she's used to make all the donuts but always will enjoy dandee donuts

This place is SLAMMED! Get here early! We arrived at about 9:00am on a Friday and most donuts were all sold out! We weren’t able to get what we came for, but we ended up with some other things that were pretty good. They offer “bowls”- egg, cheese & a protein. Large, fluffy biscuits & big muffins that the kids enjoyed! We would love to come back & try to get our hands on some donuts :)

Absolutely the best donuts!!! We are visiting from Virginia and really wanted to try Dan-D-Donuts. Even though we stopped by today after their closing time, the wonderful and generous gentleman closing up made sure that we got donuts. Amazing donuts and a great business...thank you.

All staff members should wear hair nets it's totally gross finding a long hair in your breakfast After taken a big bite! First time this has ever happened to me 🤢 Won't comment on how good food was because I fed it to my dog after finding the hair.

I have been going to this establishment for about 35 years and I was totally shocked by what I witnessed this morning..We ordered three donuts total and before pulling away, my friend bit into his and surprisingly it was hard and stale and by MY SUGGESTION he got right back out to let them know (with the donut) to let them know and give them the chance to replace it and keep their reputation in tact. However, INSTEAD he comes back a few minutes later without a replacement donut AND instead the lady (everyone knows her as the one with the excessive amount of makeup) is busting out the door after him YELLING AND CUSSING HIM (he is calm with his hands in his pockets, not the least bit threatening or cussing like she or the older man that followed her is). The older gentleman (who usually takes the outside orders) is bowing up and telling my friend to get off his property (which he is) and this is all - INSTEAD OF REPLACING THE STALE DONUT FIRST GIVEN!!! So for the lesson given, Dan D’S donuts does not believe in satisfying the customer. Also, they do not believe in not cussing around children because there were children all around and a school bus very near. Thirdly, PERHAPS they should not keep chasing customers out their side door because JUST PERHAPS that might be WHAT IS MAKING THE DONUTS SO STALE! The last note, my ex brother in law was an employee there and I know for a FACT that neither of their stories of when and how often they make their donuts were accurate! Perhaps you should take my advice and consider the customer’s experience and get some therapy for your anger issues. Also, mention to the inspector about some suggestions for the area around the door to control flies, etc.

Arrived at 828am. Ordered (3) donuts(glazed, blueberry and coconut creme) and a medium sweet tea. I asked for the the glazed to be bagged separately. All 3 were bagged separately. I first bit into the chocolate donut with coconut flakes, IT WAS NOT SOFT. Unfortunately crunchy or possibly not fresh. I went back to the window(1st left which is a lady with a lot of makeup and hair not in any type of professional netting to protect integrity of hair/food) and pointed this out. She immediately didn’t follow customer service skills and turned, directed me to a man that claims he’s “been making donuts for 75 years and learned from Tommy Skipper, he personally made them fresh last night, as he has done for years”….I informed him the following, “without customers, you realize you have no business….” Both him and the lady had (2) different time stamps on when they are made, she said, “freshly made morning”. I walked away out of disappointment, I DID NOT RECEIVE the following: AN APOLOGY OR POTENTIAL DONUT . I then returned to the window, waited about 5 minutes to make my point that there was a lack of professionalism. 2 other customers(males wearing uniforms) witnessed this and laughed at me because one personally said, since I was a person of color, I won’t get anything. I am a MILITARY VETERAN and a PACIFIC ISLANDER. After keeping my composure, I threw $5 bill into the window and asked the older man to learn how to take patience and cook better. The lady got upset, cussed at me and asked me to “leave” and I shouted tell me this around the corner….She immediately came out from the side door, which is where I was parked, she said, “I am here now, now what???!!!!” Then the older man came out and I explained that a “simple apology and offer of replacement donut would be the proper customer service that anyone should expect”. The man repeatedly raised his voice as if he was expecting me to physically strike him. He asked me to leave, I said, “return my $5 dollars I threw into the window and I will gladly leave!…..He returned, handed me my $5 bill.” I said, “are you a veteran? He replied No, I commented that if you were you’d know how to hold your composure and know how to respect fellow Americans.” Either way, unfortunately I’d like to ask my fellow VETERANS to STAY AWAY from this establishment, because the man, woman or staff do not understand “code regarding food, and customer service and respect for our country.

These really are the best donuts I have had! They have a great selection and the donuts were very fresh. Also tried the homemade chili and it was very good.

Quick drive thru or walk up order with two lines, service was great and the food was even better than expected! We got the chocolate covered cinnamon bun that was as large as my husbands hand.

What happened??? Why are you changing your recipes and the looks of your donuts and pastries? This is so disappointing to see another old favorite establishment change for the worse. The fritters are actually quite heavily greasy, such a smaller portion, are all round, and I couldn’t even taste that heavenly fluffy dough that we all love. Even your simple glazed donuts that were once unique because they were all different shapes, sizes, fluffy, yeasty, smooth, and a whiter batter are now a yellowish batter, greasy, are all round in shape and have grid pattern on the outside. It’s just not the Dan-D-Donut standards.

Fantastic place for donuts and pastries! This time I tried the burgers and fries. Both were good and a great price considering the expensive price for burgers in the PCB area.

Got a few morning donuts here and also a savory biscuit with eggs and bacon. The food was good and the service was quick and people were polite. It can get very busy at times as well so do note that: There are two windows where you can order from — sometimes only one of them is operational and be sure that you fall in line by the window that is actually serving. A mistake I made when I visited. Overall, decent donuts for a fair price.

Last three times I've not got what doughnuts I've ordered... Feel like the hires they have working up front don't care.

If you're ever in Panama City, Tuesday through Saturday, please stop by this location. When I say donuts are nice and fluffy down to the everything bagel I ordered. It's a hit! Prices are on point, and the owners/staff are so very friendly. I'll be back to try more breakfast and lunch items.

I've discovered a real gem here. Pineapple fritter,apple,cherry fritters, so perfectly perfect, WOW!!

I am sure the donuts and breakfast must be great. Just Beware Just don't order their Burger , very bland and truly a pre-made taste. The fries will hold ya over until you can get home and cook.

We stopped here while visiting Florida, on our way to Destin. These donuts are amazing. They are light and tasty, and are a generous size. The filled ones have plenty of filling and taste great. We actually stopped here the day we were heading back home too. We had other donuts in the area during our visit but these were by far the best. I would definitely come back here again and I highly recommend Dan-D-Donuts if you’re in the area. I only wish they had the chocolate ones everyday, not just on Fridays.

This is really a disappointing time for this establishment I grew up eating here. On this day I’m in line listening to people complain about a lady at the window by the the time I got there she asked my order I gave it to here then she looked at me and asked if I wanted a different donut than what I asked for I said no ma’am and repeated my order she then looked at me and said oh ok I’m sorry your having a bad day “Uh what” then she went to get my order when she came back I reach for my bag she then says I hope your day gets better I then look at her like she’s lost her mind as I turn to leave she’s yelling at my back to have a great day and god bless and I mean yelling. I got news for you Nana wouldn’t have stood for that kind of disrespect. Figure it out people.

I went to Dands this morning and thought I was gone to have my sweet tea and my morning glory muffin that mind you I grew up here been eating the muffins forever my fav...OMG today i was so disappointed 😔😔😔 mornings glory is not so glorious anymore. I took a bite of my muffin and was very not satisfied WHAT HAPPENED TO MOM AND POPS.... I miss them so much. MY MORNING GLORY IS GONE but not forgotten

A Panama City local’s staple. As a Bay High Alumni I can attest to the awesomely satisfying donuts. They have some pretty tasty cheese fries too. This place is a rite of passage and I hope it stays around forever!

This is a childhood memory for many people of this town. Nana made memories with my son since he was born with his Saturday walk to start with a donut hole moved up to a whole donut.

Always the preferred choice for sharing in the office or with your favorite team of volunteers. Consider trying some of the specialty items or classic breakfast biscuits, too.

Love this place for their chicken biscuit and choices of donuts so that’s why I’m putting stars. However do not get their hamburger meat, normally we’re always impressed with our they prep the food but the cheese burger today was terribly and we are having the worst stomach problems after eating it. I tried calling to let them know that their meat is bad but no answer/won’t even connect to their line so terrible communication problems as well.

Been going to Dan-D since 1973, have been very disappointed lately, just not the same quality, special ordered filled nuggets a while back, several that were to have strawberry filling n some with cream filling had no filling at all in them. Just this morning went, asked for a bavarian cream filled bismark with chocolate icing, started eating kept waiting for the bavarian cream but found none, no filling at all in it! Sadly, it has really gone down hill.

This is a Panama City icon. Southerners love their donuts and this is hands-down, the best in PC. We like the fritters and what my husband calls "coffee rolls" but what the outside world knows as cinnamon rolls. They actually make them plain or with raisins. And CHOCOLATE but you might as well call it fudge on top. I haven't had anything I wouldn't get again and each time I go there, I try a new thing or two. They also sell coffee and some good hot and cold sandwiches. They always give you plenty of napkins and a BIG box for the King Dan. Sometimes they even give away cool stickers

OMGOODNESS AND IF YOU WERE BORN AND RAISED IN FLORIDA, You know what, when, where and why!!! Rumor had it closing after 60years BUT lady told me they wasnt!! I was born and raised in Panama City and live in GA but always visits Dan-D-Donuts!!! BEST donuts, pastries, varieties of all!!!

I had been here once before, probably 7 months ago. It is right by my house, thus why I had it at all. I just got a breakfast sandwich, tater tots and a drink. The sausage smelled and tasted like a dog food patty, the drink was all ice and it was 11 and some change for that order. I understand they are a donut spot. So maybe that's the best route to take. I won't be back for anything but maybe to try and a donut. If they are amazing I'll edit the review. Otherwise, I say steer clear of breakfast with sausage for now.

Biscuits and gravy + chocolate milk = my breakfast nearly 3x per week! Staff is great, food comes out quick and fresh! We also get donuts delivered to my job often, they never disappoint.

Don’t go when they are busy and order anything hot or think you can pick your dozen donuts without an attitude. We patiently waited. No problem. By the time we received our hot food, it had clearly been sitting out, it was cold. Spoke with the owner to maybe get our hot food hot, he said there was nothing he could do about it since he was busy.

I've been going here since 1998, and I still love it as much as I did when I was a teen. It always brings back memories of getting breakfast or lunch while at Bay. The donuts are delicious and the staff is nice.

Good donuts. Walk up window and things are displayed so you can be see the available option so. Son in law had chili cheese dog and it was very good but price kept him from getting a 2nd one.

Absolute hole in the wall with the best food in Florida! You can order anything on the menu and I promise you that you won't be disappointed at all! The owner comes out if the line is too long and takes your order personally in the drive thru to assure a speedy hot and delicious meal! Don't accidentally get those glazed doughnuts because you will never be able to untaste the gloriousness of those fantastic works of art! If I'm lying I'm buying!

On Tuesday I bought two dozen glazed Donuts to share with visitors at the beach. When I opened the boxes at the condo they were much smaller than they were a few months ago. The taste was a bit different. Today I put one in the microwave...these just are not the same Donuts. I've been buying sharing and bragging on these special Donuts for years. What happened?
