Love this place! I’ve been going for a year now! It started with going every Wednesday with my coworkers and slowly led to me going there almost everyday! Chris, Leah, and Sara the kava tenders are amazing people and super nice! James the owner is hilarious and one of my favorite people! I’ve got to know some amazing people along the way some new comers and most regulars that place slowly became a second home to me. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for community!

I’ve visited Kava and Tea a couple of times before to purchase kava, but my most recent experience was very disappointing. On my third visit, I just needed to use the restroom. As I walked in, the owner, who was there that day, asked if he could help me. The way he asked and the way he looked at me made me feel unwelcome, as if I wasn’t supposed to be there. When I told him I needed to use the restroom, he said I had to buy something in order to use it. While I understand some places have this policy, the way I was approached and the overall interaction left me feeling like I was being treated unfairly. I’ve been a paying customer before, but I didn’t even feel comfortable mentioning that at the time because of how uncomfortable the situation was. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression, and I don't plan to return. As a influencer I recommend U vape 2332 South University drive in Davie. The vibe there was nice. The young lady said hi to me as soon as i walked in in a non-sarcastic way. They also have a pool table and computers with games on them. The vibe was non judgmental and welcoming. Five stars for U Vape and zero stars for Davie Kava.

I like this place a lot! The drinks are delicious and the staff is awesome too. I often order tea but recently wanted to try something different and the Power Ranger mocktails totally hit the spot. Perfect balance of tasty yet strong!

Best place to get Kava and Bao Buns!

I went in with a friend of mine, and no one greeted us, then my friend would get up to look at the menu and no one acknowledged him or asked if he needed help. After we asked for the wifi password, the worker went to the back and spoke to her manager, next thing you know the manager is asking me if i’ve ordered and I would need to order to stay. After two minutes, she’s asks if we know what we want, we ask for more time. Then she comes back we ask for a cappuccino she claims they’re not serving it right now? Although, I know people who’ve gone here and gotten cappuccino or coffee at 12AM. I decided to leave due to the atmosphere, tone of voice, and lack of attentiveness.

Driving from Naples, I came across this gem. The sign on the door stated they were closed due to a flight delay. However the owner's mom Linda was there by chance and still invited me in for a to go order. Super sweet person. Homemade teas that don't have all the added sugar. Definitely correct when she said that they're known for those teas. Will definitely go back again when I'm in Miami.

One of the best kava bars in Broward. James is awesome and really cares about his guests.

Owner is very pushy on buying drinks, and will kick you off the store if the amount of drinks you buy is not satisfactory by his standards. There are plenty of other kava bars near this location with better atmosphere, better priced drinks, and even better service

The place is pretty nice but what really makes it stand out from the rest is the phenomal service that the kavatender Lea provides us with.

James was super knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell he puts a lot of thought and care into his product! It was a super comfortable environment. We really enjoyed our time here.

I travel far to come here because the service is amazing. The staff is so nice and makes me feel like I’m at home. There’s a game room and fun activities to do here along with the amazing choices of kava to select from. The biggest plus is that it closes at 3am! I recommend this place to everyone. WE LOVE SARAH.

Best place in Davie to study during the day and drink some amazing kratom and kava. I love that I can bring my dog, hang out and meet new people.

Highly recommend this place!!! I came to see Voodoo mink play and they were amazing. At one point a guy in a nerds rope fit came up to me shouting “King Bookerrrrr!” while making metal horns with his hand 🤘🏼it was blissful.

I've been coming here for a while now and love this place. The atmosphere is always great and the friends I've made here will last a lifetime and more. If you're looking for a place to hangout and relax and be yourself, this is the place for you. Every Wednesday evening is open mic/karaoke and it's a great time. Hope to see you soon!!

10/10 , Felt welcome immediately after walking inside. The staff are all great. And the teas.. these teas are on another level!! They taste good, not just palatable, but actually really tasty! Literally, one of the best kava bars around, The Kava is really nice and strong, and the mixes with the kava Is fantastic! The kratom is THE BEST AND CLEAN I have ever had. James, the owner definitely brings a very welcoming atmosphere with his awsome personality and many T.V's to watch unique entertainment.

I found my Kava bar! This place is so chill & laid back. Wonderful atmosphere! There’s games and music, as well as a gaming room. There is also events that are held here on different days. I 10/10 recommend this Kava bar! The owner, James, was very welcoming to me and my wife. He is very knowledgeable about the Kava industry. It actually blew my mind. We have been to a few different places and he by FAR has the best tasting Kava around! He is a very friendly and cool individual. It is such a chill and fun atmosphere, with games and music. It is very cozy and inviting; makes you never want to leave. They have several events on certain days which is awesome. We now have a new spot, and James has 2 new regulars!

A very unique and personalized experience

This place has a very unique twist on kratom, a drink called the Apocalypto. Now I have had my run on teas but this is different y’all. It’s a tart citrus flavor with out the kratom taste. If you are looking to model a moc’tail I’m going to say this is what you should model it around. Only complaint I have is that it’s 12:09 and they are open at 12 and I’m waiting for staff.

If connecting isn’t necessarily your thing, you can always count on catching uniquely curated movies on their 3 oversized flatscreens — I can attest, my own, personal horizons have been expanded. The menu is creatively designed for all tastes-buds. From surprising seasonal pop-up flavors like Horchata flavored Kava, to expected Kava menu items like various teas and coffee concoctions; Davie Kava has raised the bar. Their Kratam and Kava selections are more-than-satisfying for both Kava enthusiasts as well as those enjoying for their first time. These carefully cared for and brewed libations are served in their raw form or mixed into lip-smacking mocktails. The kava tender James makes amazing teas. The vibes are so good here you can legit come and chill and it feels cozy. It’s a place where people are welcoming and there is always something cool to watch. On Wednesday they have open mic and karaoke, lots of fun.

Love the Bad Movie Mondays and Open Mic/Karaoke Wednesdays. A very friendly, chill geeky spot with very welcoming and nice patrons. The owner used to be an actor so there’s always a welcoming and artistic vibe. Also like that it isn’t grimy like some cava spots. I don’t really drink cava myself, but they have good teas and things, too. Has become a new hangout for me!

Davie Kava bar is the spot. If you’re looking for a place to study, relax, be at ease with yourself, meet new friends, and enjoy. This is the place to be. Vrish was my tender this evening. Let me tell you, I was here from 6:45 till midnight. I’m quite in shock honestly because I wasn’t planning on staying as long as I did considering I also came alone. Vrish checked in on me multiple times through out my time here to make sure I was okay and if I needed anything. His presence was genuine, welcoming and friendly. Another reason why I extended my stay here this evening to complete my work. I met James the owner at the beginning of my time here and he was also a genuine soul. What a place and vibe. Did I mention the music and energy was fire? Now you know. Thank you Davie Kava for taking care of me and your kindness. I just found my new spot to keep grinding. P.s. Your Kava is fire🙌🏻.

I have found my favorite spot! The Kava is delicious, my favorite is the peppermint kava! Love the decorations and the set up. Nice chill place to hang out with friends and they have fun events like karaoke and trivia. Plus they have lady’s night on Tuesdays! Thank you James!

We visited Davie Kava for a quick stop and ended up staying for the Amazing service, drinks, and vibe. We will be back!

I personally think the OG White Kratom Tea is delicous, very good tea and the prices are very fair. The chinese restaurant next door makes for a great 1-2 combo

James is a fount of intellectual conversation, and his staffers are all well versed in the product, as well as pleasant. The acetic is pleasing, what’s on tv is cool, the music generally enjoyable. The prices are also fair, and the menu choice is diverse. One of the best spots out this way. So glad kava is taking off as a whole.
