Tried this place today and boy was I happy. The cheese steaks are about as "Philly" is it gets in Florida. Absolutely delicious. Cheese fries amazing as well. Strongly recommend!!!

Me & Matt have never been to Philly & had a cheesesteak but these guys would be tough to beat if we did, The Bread, The Cheese, The Shaved Ribeye, Everything about it is incredible, So Good & it's HUGE, 1 is enough for both of us to share & we're full

This is the Best Cheesesteak in the Cape Coral- Fort Myers area. They are a Philly people making great cheesesteaks The tater tots a terrific too. They also offer cheesesteak tacos. Don’t call it a Philly.

Absolutely spectacular. Never had a Philly even remotely close to anything like this … super friendly people. Loaded fries and tots are incredddilbe as well. HIGHLY recommend

The most authentically Philly cheesesteak there is in Florida! Rolls are perfect and meat is great- chopped up perfectly and melts in your mouth! Service is friendly and authentically Philly as well! Love the owners!

I’ve seen this food truck on my way to work on a weekly basis and we finally decided to try it out. We ordered 2 beef cheesesteaks - one with wiz and one with cooper-sharp. Both absolutely delicious! Got loaded tots and seasoned fries for sides and both just as amazing. This place is a must try! Portions are huge, service is excellent, and prices are great for the quality of the food. 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back. Go Birds!!

Drove to the location on Maps and nothing exists here. Looked around the hardware store and didn't see anything. There is no restaurant located here with a dine-in option as Google Maps indicates.

My first time trying Dee’s. Well, it looks like I may have to start working out… wonderful cheese steak sandwich. Chock full of steak and cheese. I had to shower after eating this. Nice size sandwich that will fill you up. It was delicious and I will be back, several more times.

I really wish I took a photo of my food but this place was amazing. I’ve tried out a bunch of places down here and none come close to double dees. Thank you for the amazing food and the seasoned fries with cheese was to die for!!!

I wish I could give 10 stars. This was hands down the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had, and I’m usually picky about things like this! Perfect size, hot peppers were delicious. Cheese fries and seasoned fries were amazing. Fair prices, good service. They should open a restaurant!!

Authentic Philly cheesesteak. I have lived in SWFL since 2007 and have never been able to find a real Philly cheese steak. I am hooked, you actually get meat and not all roll along with top notch customer service. Delicious, highly recommend. DA BIRDS, Go EAGLES!!!

Doubledeemunchies is by far the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I always make it a point to go visit them when I head down to the Cape Coral area. Honestly, everyone should make it a point to go visit them whenever they’re in the Cape Coral/ Fort Meyers area. Not only are the cheesesteaks phenomenal, but Gabrielle and Gabe are also very personable and always make the experience memorable!

They came into our apartment complex tonight. If I could give more stars than Google allows I would. I’m originally from the Midwest and I’ve had some Cheesesteaks in my day. This might just be the best I’ve ever had. It’s most certainly the best in SW Florida. Trust me and get it with the Whiz sauce. I haven’t even mentioned the tots. I got loaded and they might be illegal……. Because now I think I have an addiction to them. Wow. Excellent food guys!!! You might have something much bigger than a food truck here.

I had this right after I gave birth and it was literally the worst cheesesteak ever. Looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. There was very little cheese, no onions or peppers and super bland. I’m convinced this place is all hype. Philly junction in Ft. Myers is way better. The bread was good though. Same with the loaded tots but those are always good lol. Maybe we caught it on bad day? Either way, I wouldn’t try again and I wouldn’t recommend.

Double Dee’s Munchies is one of the only places I chase. She kills it every time. If you can find a better Philly Cheese beef/chicken In SWFL…. It’s NOT possible. It’s great to see local entrepreneurs kill it. Do not take my word , stop in yourself and see.

Dude. If you havent stopped in to try Gabb's (double dee) food you gotta. The loaded tater tots come with sour cream, bacon and cheese. Oh my god. $5 and youre in heaven. The philly cheese steaks are great. Everything is just awesome. Service is always friendly and fast. Gabb and the team at Double Dee's are always smiling and happy and ready to serve. (Avg wait time 7-10 minutes after your order is placed which is pretty damn good)

Fire buff chick fries ! Love that You guys take that little extra step to keep the fries gluten-free. Hard out here for a celiac 😂

Absolutely delicious! We ordered our cheesesteaks with wiz, onions, and sweet peppers, and also got a side of loaded tater tots. Huge portions and fast and friendly service. I do wish the tater tots came out a little more crispy but all the flavor was there and I would definitely order again from this food truck!

I got a cheesesteak with Dee's cheese and all toppings. The cheesesteak was nicely filled on good bread. My only criticism was the cheese and peppers were all on top of the sandwich, I would have liked the peppers chopped up and mixed in a little better with cheese that melted down into the meat. Next time I will just get whiz or white american, I will definitely be back for more!

Wow wow wow! Double Dees was parked in front of my apartment complex last night and I tried their cheesesteak for the first time. I ordered it authentic Philly way with wiz and onions. Got a side order of plain tots as well. Firstly, the owner, Gabby, is an absolute sweetheart. She’s a pleasure to talk to and you can feel her passion for her business. The food… amazing! Felt like I was back in Philly literally. The taste, texture and amount of steak were ON POINT! The tots were also great. I genuinely enjoyed the food and looking forward to eating from this truck again!

The cheese steaks (as well as every item I've tried) are absolutely phenomenal. They use awesome raw product and add love and skill that really shine through and are greater than the sum of its amazing parts. Plus on top of all of that gabe and gabby provide astounding customer service, and are genuinely funny and entertaining people. Is there a way I can give them 6 or 7 stars? Absolutely mind blowing food each and every time. As a man in my mid 30's I get ecstatic waiting the brief moments for my food because it tastes that delicious.

This was a pretty decent cheesesteak. As a native Philadelphian, it’s hard to impress me but this was almost there. The sandwich was full and the roll had the perfect texture. Not sure why this wasn’t a 5 but it was as close to a 5 as I’ve gotten here in Florida. Definitely the front runner of cheesesteaks this far.

Came to Sandoval this Friday. Ordered the philly with mushrooms and onions ..let her pick the cheese..pretty sure it was Dees cheese. Absolutely delicious..bread was amazing as well as the sandwich. Looking forward to seeing them again. Believe all the good reviews..you will not be dissapointed!!
