It's a great place for food, drink, and entertainment . The staff is very nice as well as the owner. Very good food. Nothing too expensive and prepared by an actual chef. I will be back. I had the Yellow fin tuna salad. Amazing ! Nice portions from what I saw coming out of the kitchen.

Live music, smoking, food is just amazing. Had a huge family dinner here and we all loved it. I had steak and my husband had a burger. Amazing, good parking. Band that comes once a month is awesome. They have a fig tree I'm outside seating area. Beautiful view!

Great music. A lot of seatting areas. On the back you pay 5$ for the music show but so worth it. Food is very good. Had ribs and quinoa. Hubby had fish and chips. Fries were excellent.

Englewoods on Dearborn has really exceeded expectations each time my family and myself have dined within the restaurant. Having personally tasted various foods in Budapest and Vienna, I really love that the Hungarian Goulash and Old Town Vienna/Jager Schnitzel are both traditional, and so delicious. The Mussels and the Grouper Fingers were also soooo good. I would order them every time, but I also wish to try the other items as well, including the Osso Bucco, which was unfortunately not on the menu today, but hopefully again in the future. Customer service and entertainment were beyond amazing. Stephanie is an excellent server, and the Karen & Jimmy Band delivered great music, entertainment, and dancing. Tony, the restaurant owner, is super kind caring, and makes sure that everyone has a really great experience. We as well really loved the banyan tree (or whichever tree it is), and tranquil pond. Thank you so much for an awesome 74th birthday for my father :-).

This was our first time at Englewoods and I can guarantee it will not be the last. The food was good, and we were fortunate that they had a blues band playing which was great. However, the best part was our server, Jamie. She greeted us with a smile that could knock your socks off, and you knew it was genuine. She was fabulous at checking back with us after we got served our meals, and continued to do so in the most caring way while we were there. Jamie, a personal thank you from us and you know we will be back AND we will ask for one of your tables.

What a beautiful restaurant! The food is delicious, the music is outstanding, the atmosphere is great! And we had a wonderful waitress named Jamie. That took it to another level. She is attentive, cheerful, and pleasant.

Great experience all around. I had haddock fish and chips. My wife had surf and turf. We both shared ahi tuna appetizer. It was all good! John was our waiter. He was very attentive despite doing multiple tasks. All the wait staff that we interacted with were friendly. We will definitely be going back!

Great atmosphere, but portions are too small!! Got some hummus and Syrian bread to help fill us up and that was tiny...more carrots than anything. Add a good portion of pasta, rice, large chicken breast sandwich

Place was awesome! Went here on my last night in Englewood. The vibe was great, so was the food and drinks. The crawfish pasta is spicy… so watch out! Fun live music, great staff too!

Went here twice, once to hear the blues and once on a Friday for the band. Had fun both times. Good music, good food. Need a reservation at least a week in advance.

This place has inside and outside seating. People can go inside and dance to a band. The menu is very heavy and not too big. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The owner comes around and greets each table every night. There is parking on the street near the place.

We have dined here 3 times for dinner and music. The atmosphere is fun, outside seating with plenty of umbrellas and tree shade. The vibe is fun and the bands that play here are typically very good. The service has been good, the waitresses are always a hoot and fun to banter with. My only complaint (and everyone else's) is the food. Every dish I have had has been very bland, under seasoned and frankly tasteless. I have tried the shrimp and grits, schnitzel and recently the pork hock, all of which were quite bland. Now, I know this is Florida and many restaurants purposefully don't heavily season their food due to some of us old folks cant take heavily seasoned food. However there are herbs and things to add flavor and elevate the flavor of the the food. I asked for a pepper grinder...not one to be found! The menu items are all well conceived...execution is lacking. That being said, if I go back for the vibe and music...I will take my own seasoning!

Wow. Place is amazing. Food is always so good and the staff is so cool. The live music well, it’s off the chain. JP Soars and The Red Hots is by far the best band I’ve heard.

Food was fabulous… I had the mahi tuna and crabmeat, atmosphere was great… we were on the courtyard and music was a fun addition. Our waitress, Roxann, was a doll🥰

So lucky to have found this restaurant. We were a bit late going out at 8:00 and while most places nearby turned us away, Englewoods was very welcoming and cheerful! Such a positive and happy feeling place. We wished we had returned here the next night too! We would definitely stop by next time, if we returned to this part of Florida again. We really enjoyed the schnitzel and spätzle here. The mussels and the ceviche were also excellent. Very kind and truly dog friendly.

Two less stars for a perfect score. Missy our server gets a perfect 5. Entertainment good. Food prices expensive for the quality. Party of 8 ordering different meals consensus...average at best.

This is one of these places that thinks they’re doing you a favor by letting you be a customer. I went there and was treated rudely and left. I won’t be back. There are too many other places to try in the area, who needs that crap.

The owner of this venue stopped the band 11/25/2023 midsong. Took over the stage. Vocalized to patrons to tip the band using offensive profanity multiple times. He called patrons out. Instructed people to ring a bell. He was quite disruptive to the energy and atmosphere.

I had my heart set on ordering the Hungarian goulash, but they ran out before 7:00 p.m. we had to wait over 30 minutes to be served. The food was okay but nothing to write home about. In the rear, they have live bands and they are really good.

We dined outside and the weather was pleasant . Server was attentive. Food was mediocre. I had the Artichoke and tomato pasta with shrimp. Very few artichokes and tomatoes, sauce was too sweet for that dish. Portion was on the small side for the price, so small that I was able to eat it all and I don't normally do that with pasta dishes. Friend had burger which looked better. Other person had lamb chop appetizer. They had a lot of fat on them. Overall not impressed and will try other places before coming back.

We went with friends for dinner. We had Grouper picatta and Shrimp and Grits were absolutely delicious. THE CHEESE GRITS WERE FRIED IN CAKES. Our friends both had the famous Schnitzel and loved it.Large portions. They took about half of their meals home. The entertainment was Igor and the Red Elvis's. Wonderful instrumentals. We will gladly return. Extremely friendly staff. Danielle was our server.

Service and people who work here are all first class. We lived in the area for over 2 years and now have discovered our favorite place. Music was fantastic and all the customers were friendly and enjoying the atmospherics. Our servers were top notch.

Got to see a great band as well as enjoy good food and a few good beers. I dined outside to enjoy the band playing, The Black Snake Bayou Band, great music and would definitely return based on the great evening at this location.

Great atmosphere for live music. This place gets some very entertaining musicians. The atmosphere on the back patio is beautiful too. I was not impressed with the flavor or presentation of the menu, especially for the price. It was just ok, nothing exciting and service was just good. I felt each dish was priced about $6-10 too high for the quality and presentation (paper napkins and plastic cups). Appetizers were extremely small, but entree portions were good. It seems like the prices are jacked up because of the quality entertainment. I may return, but probably will not eat here again.

I have never visited Englewood's yet have heard great reviews about the dining and atmosphere. My family were here to see the Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Sweet Fleet, perform. We arrived about 7:20 p.m. but had to be very politely turned away due to how busy the restaurant was at the time. I believe it was the owner who I spoke to and we would later find out how cool this gentleman would be. So I was a bit bummed but we decided to head to the military appreciation park at the end of the street to take in the sights of Lemon Bay. As we drove back towards the restaurant, we noticed a parking spot was open directly in front of the restaurant. Oh this is a great sign!!! The owner recognized us and had a table ready in about 3 minutes. The place was packed and the band were about to start their second set of music. Since we already had dinner earlier, we only ordered some drinks/apps/desserts. Everything we tried tasted great and our server was awesome. This is a perfect place to see live performances. All the staff, including the owner, were top notch. Thanks so much Englewood's on Dearborn. We will definitely return for more great food and fun.

This place is a hidden gem. Despite the crowds, Jim from Jersey kept everything under control,service was great. Food was fresh and delicious. However the best part of the evening was the band Torched that rocked the house! Wonderful passionate musicians Fun evening despite the rain!

I have gone twice since moving to Englewood a couple of years ago. Both times I've left feeling unwelcome. It is as if if you're not a regular, your needs are less important. Disappointing because the music is enjoyable. Tonight, we finished our 1 drink and left. We have many wonderful options to choose from where our business is appreciated.

Englewood’s is awesome, awesome food, awesome drinks. The band was amazing and our server Roxanne was a rockstar, ask for Roxanne when making your reservations, you won’t be disappointed!!

Burger was tasty but no seasoning on the fries, wife had the fresh tuna salad and loved it, music was good..will return

The band and servers were very good. The food wasn't. The alcohol drinks tasted weak. It was hot and I don't feel that they had adequate fans. I will try it again in the middle of November.

The outside bartender was at the minimum substandard I got shot & she starts to ask me what I want. Repeatedly? All I said was when she wasn’t busy, I’ll check out(owed for one (one $9 shot) She was so condensing & all I asked was what was wrong? Never have I ever been treated this way at a reputable establishment! I. Will NEVER go back to Englewoods on Dearborn without taking to the owners If the bartender is management, you’ve yog real issues! I’ll. Spread the word she has no business dealing with customers! DISGUSTING

Service, food and music excellent!! Just know only outside seating unless weather is bad. So it can get hot, but it’s Florida! Definitely give it a try.

Long story short. Ordered the goulash. I couldn't eat it, it was too salty. I had 3 bites. Waitress asked it I wanted a box, I told her no that I could not eat it. She came back and said the owner would not let her take it off my bill. I was upset. I've never heard of a restaurant forcing someone to pay for a meal they couldn't eat. I could see if I ate half of it and then said I couldn't eat it but I literally had 3 bites. I believe the owner was mad because I didn't like his famous goulash. I will never go back. BTW I ordered and enjoyed 2 $14.50 cocktails and our waitress was great. Too bad owner was a jerk.
