Very relaxing and welcoming. I was able to charge my laptop as I worked there. It's definitely a place to visit.

I’ve been a long time customer of Felicitous and am shocked that I had such an unwelcoming experience. My friend and I stopped by to grab something quick to eat, we waited in line and once we got to the front we were told to instead go sit down and order through the QR code as it would be faster. This would’ve been fine (despite already spending time in line) except the person at the counter then proceeded to take the order of the people waiting behind us. My friend and I were confused as to why we were specifically sent away but not anyone else especially given the fact we were the only two brown people in line when everyone else what white. Other customers who witnessed this also expressed that it was weird as we were leaving to go outside. My friend and I then proceeded to try ordering through the QR code but were unable to find the items we had wanted to order through there (I’ve typically have been able to find all menu items through the QR code when I’ve ordered in the past, but for some reason the code outside wasn’t showing all the options). We then went inside again to put in the order the regular way (this time there was no line), the person at the counter immediately asked us why we couldn’t use the QR code. I stated that we weren’t able to find the menu items and she immediately responds with ‘that’s not true.’ My friend and I didn’t really know what to say to that and the aggressive tone (as well as immediate implication that we were lying) made us feel super uncomfortable. I’m very disappointed in this experience especially as a woman of color because I’ve always assumed Felicitous was a welcoming place. Not necessarily saying this employee was consciously being racist but the interaction just left a very bad taste in my mouth. Based on responses to other negative reviews, I doubt Felicitous will take my experience seriously, but I hope to caution other potential customers of this type of treatment, especially if you’re black or brown.

As a lover of small businesses, mom and pops, and all things locally owned this establishment is an absolute joke. If I could give a -1 star review I would. Me and my friend decided to come here and try a new local coffee cafe. We love to support small businesses and prefer them over large corporate names like Starbucks, Dunkin, etc. We walked In to Felicitous and were not spoken to or greeted. When we walked up to the register the employee working was rude and made us feel unwelcome and like a bother. My friend politely voiced it was our first time in and we needed a moment to browse before ordering. We both ordered an iced vanilla latte that had an odd floral soapy taste to it. My friend ordered the egg and cheese croissant that had very little cheese and what looked like a thin egg patty cut into two halves. If you look at the online menu, the picture shows a croissant with fluffy scrambled looking eggs and what looks like ooey gooey American cheese dripping out of it. Her sandwich was dry, disappointing, a straight up scam and a clear case of catfishing. I ordered the Early Bird Special and it also looked nothing like the picture. It had a slice of turkey, a thin slice of cheese and jam. The top and bottom pieces of the Cuban bread were practically touching. As people who rarely complain, have worked in food service, and always choose to give the benefit of the doubt, we left feeling like maybe they were short staffed, maybe it was just an off day, maybe they use a different brand of syrup that has an acquired taste. After reading the reviews we were completely shocked and speechless at what we saw. Not only did we see reviews with similar experiences, proving our experience was not just an “off day” but the owner is constantly blaming and degrading the customers for the experiences they are having at their business. Gaslighting and saying things like “maybe your mood should have been better when you came in” is absolutely disgusting in regard to how one of your employees treated a paying customer. We are just one of many who were expecting more based on their menu, pictures, and prices but received way less. I hope being honest about my experience and how it wasn’t up to par will discourage others from dining here. The owner has made it clear they are more worried about how the negative experience and how the review reflects their business instead of simply providing better food and better customer service. To the owner, because I know you will see this. I will HAPPILY take my money and my willingness to support small businesses elsewhere. You don’t have to worry about us returning. I hope you find the time to self reflect on ur business skills and leadership style. Best wishes 🥰

This is the best witchy vibed coffee shop in the bay! The customer service is always the BEST. I absolutely love it here.They also hold the cutest monthly markets to support local small businesses. Kudos to Felicitous for showing love to fellow businesses and for making bomb coffee and food!

I am tentative to give such a stellar review as this place is my favorite spot to study, but the people deserve to know! This is the nicest coffee shot to work in, the environment is calm and inviting. All baristas are SO EXTREMELY friendly, and make the most delicious coffee and breakfast. I’ve seen so many wonderful groups choose this place for their intimate meetings, including religious groups, students, book clubs, and businesspeople. They have both seating inside and out, with lots of different seats to choose from and plenty of places to charge your devices. If you’re short on time and need a good outfit, felicitous has a wide variety of adorable pieces for sale, as well as prints from local artists, accessories, and stationeries. They host a variety of events engaging the local community, and truly embrace their proximity to USF. I am forever grateful for this spot, all the group meetings I’ve had here, and all the long hours spent getting coffee after coffee trying to finish my finals. It’s hard to find an oasis in a big city, felicitous is one of them.

The local fairy house 🧚🏼‍♀️✨ such a special place in the Tampa area. Incredible workers, amazing food and drinks, and some of the best events! The markets they host are so cute and I always find great jewelry, clothes, and so many crafts. I can’t suggest this place enough!

My husband and I stopped in to try this coffee shop since we are new to the area and love trying new coffee shops. Unfortunately, we felt the atmosphere was uncomfortable due to the witch references, as we are both Christians. Just a heads up to those visiting - the vibe isn’t for everyone although our drinks were good and the people were very nice.

Paid over $10 for a medium-sized latte with an extra shot that was served tempid. 2 sips in it was cold. Waste of money Edited review for the owners' response. I ordered the Arabian nights with an extra shot. The total was EXACTLY $10.18, .50 cents was a tip to your staff.

Night market was alot of fun. The Henna Artist was amazing! The best I've seen. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. It's such a chill place with relaxing atmosphere and great people.

Originally tried them a few years ago and the sandwich and coffee was great. Decided to try again this week and ordered online. I originally tried calling in my order but they said they could not hear me in the store and the second time I called I went straight to voicemail. The sandwich I got is so mediocre. One tiny egg round cut in half and almost no cheese, but the tomatoes tasted fine. Overall very little flavor. I was looking forward to having a good Cuban toast place close by, but this isn’t it.

Hands down my favorite spot in Tampa. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy, and I love that it's an inclusive space that supports local artists. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the food and drinks are absolutely delicious. You need to try this place!

Felicitous has become the go to for coffee shop hangouts, study sessions, and fun markets. Come for the great coffee, stay for the coziest atmosphere. Best location to romanticize your life. Also, try the Arabian Nights, its my favorite drink ever.

The lavender coffee here is among the best i had. The old house turned coffee shop decor really adds to the overall mood. They also offer some printing services on site with a fast wifi for students. The outdoor deck on a summer evening with cold coffee is where you need to be to get some work done as the noise of the road flow in.

Literally the cutiest place ever 🤍🤍 Having an indoor and outdoor seating both options are comfy! Parking is limited, you either have front parking or back. Depending who is working the shift the energy of the place is always either sparkly and energetic or calm and quiet. (I love both) 💞⭐️ ☕️: I give their iced lattes 5/10 flavor. It’s very “I made this at home” latte. The milk is too thick and the expresso used for the latte seems more like a watered brew. So your latte won’t really have the latte feel. more like a brewed coffee. Some people may like that and that’s great! For those of you who like their lattes like I do. Your expectations won’t be met.

This is my first time coming here and how lucky i am that it is also the day that the food market opens. So not only I get to visit the cafe, but i also get to taste culture cuisine and see interesting art pieces the artists put on display. The staffs are really nice, the cafe is cozy (altho it has limited space inside). I ordered a Merlin’s elixir, it’s pretty and has strong lavender scent. Being here feels like the place gave you a permission slip to be yourself freely, because that’s how everyone is here. (Might be biased because of the influence of the food/art market).

I love the eclectic vibes of Felicitous Coffee. I personally love their matcha and hazelnut coffee. The owners and staff were very friendly and they always make sure to make the drinks to my liking. They have a handmade and merchandise from local artists too. I find the postcards and arts really cool! The croissants, guava bars and the spinach + feta were sooo delicious. They have events like markets from time to time too! We will definitely be back to this hidden gem.

Absolutely adorable little place tucked behind a strip mall- I had turned in to get coffee from a National chain and saw this gem sneakily behind the building and decided to give it a chance. It was AMAZING! The barista was wonderful, the atmosphere was calm and eclectic, fast service, friendly guests... it felt like my hometown coffee place instantly. I will Absolutely be back!

It was a nice mini spot for coffee, study, and chill. Music being played in the background was a bit loud & the a/c was blasting a bit but other than that, it’s a very nice spot for students or any other virtual workers to be at. They have WiFi and multiple outlet stations for peeps to charge whatever devices you need. First time visit here, I ordered a croissant cheese and egg with a hot cup of their special called Teacher’s Pet. Both items were very well done 👌 highly recommend checking out their mini shop that looks handmade items and being sold. Super cute items. The earrings was what caught my attention. Highly unique items and just fun to look at when you’re getting bored of tech focus sesh. Will be returning to try more items c:

I have been meaning to try this cute little place for months and today I finally have and I can say it was SO worth the wait. I ordered a cold brew (vanilla with oatmilk) with a ham, egg, & cheese croissant and it honestly blew my mind. The ladies at the counter were so helpful and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so relaxing whether you want to study, read a book, or just sit outside and enjoy the weather. Definitely will be coming here again! Cutest little hidden gem :)

I got a shot of espresso on ice with some half and half also with two shots of caramel. This was the smoothest and most decadent coffee that I have ever had!! Just amazing.

The food we had was really good (a ham and cheese croissant that they baked for us), but the coffee was awful, so bad that we ended up throwing one out when we got to our car later (and they were both the same - honey iced lattes). It tasted of mostly milk mixed with burnt beans with little flavor/honey taste. I recall coming here years ago and really loving the funky study spot, but this time it was quite overcrowded and a little dirty to be frank. (Not their fault) We waited about 20 minutes for someone to leave, but when no folks got up we left. I did use the bathroom (super relieved that they had one!) and it was not well maintained, definitely could use a proper cleaning. I do want to note that the service was great, they were overcrowded like I said but were extremely communicative and apologetic about the delay. Overall, we won't be back until quality issues are addressed. Edit: Felicitous, thank you for taking the time to promptly respond. Since we could not find seating and were in a rush to get some work done to deadline, we did have to leave right away and, admittedly, could not wait to have our coffee orders corrected. I HATE to leave a poor review on a small business, and if you can see my prior reviews I rarely do, but was hoping you would take this honest feedback as an opportunity to investigate quality and improve your small business.

The drinks and food are good but way overpriced. Nearly 20$ for 2 regular sized drinks. Nice atmosphere when it's cold but majority of the time it's too hot and crowded. The owner sounds crazy AF too. I may be cheap but at least I have good ac lmao.

Love this quaint and eclectic little place! Everything from their delicious lattes to their outdoor seating and the little "take one, leave one" library on site...simply perfection. I love to bring clients and colleagues here for a cup of tea or coffee because it has more charm and ambiance than a typical chain coffee shop. They also have free wifi and a printer (haven't used the printer but good to know it is there!). My favorite menu items are the pistachio/rose latte, chai tea, matcha, and their vegan empanadas. Everything tastes fresh and home made and the staff are always very kind and patient. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve been here twice. Had coffee and hot chocolate both times along with some muffins and danishes. They have a moody whimsical ambience with both indoor and outdoors seating. They had a night market my first visit, which was quite interesting and added to the whimsy feel. The coffee wasn’t that great but the baked goods were fine.

The girl today was not very nice as soon as I walked in it was like I was bothering her by being there and this is comparing how she was nice and bubbly to another guest….. really wanted to like this place since it’s adorable. The place has so much character, the employees are very welcoming, and the food and drinks are delicious.

This cafe is extremely charming and cozy. I love that they display and sell local artists’ prints. The coffee and food are both great, if a little on the expensive side. I like that they give you mugs if you’re dining in, it really adds to the homey, comfortable atmosphere. Parking is a little tricky because you have to go through a narrow drive way on the side of the building to the back where there is a small field to park in, but I’ve never had any trouble getting in and out. It is a great place to sit down and chat.

Talk about a hidden gem that's been around a while. We've been passing by this quaint little cafe for years. I wish a place like this was around when I was going to USF, but I digress. Anyhow, awesome coffee and tea served up here along with some small bites, pastries and whatnot. They cater to vegans/vegetarians too, so something for everyone. Once inside this tiny bungalow turned cafe, you'll notice the random artwork and such, makes for a comfortable vibe to hangout and relax. You place your order with the cute coffee pixies behind the counter, super helpful and friendly. You just want to hug them, but then again, personal space, Covid, and harassment charges pending. So just leave them a good tip. Outside, there's a nice area to sip your coffee/tea and eat your food, very relaxing. Felicitous is a welcoming place worthy of waking up early to go get a a cup of Joe. Shame we didn't find this place earlier, guess we're not that hip to be in the "know." (Some of the coffee pixies flew away, probably changed majors or whatnot, still, they replenish their numbers, so all is not lost.)

Felicitous is a funky little coffee shop with unique food choices. They have vegan options which are hard to find. Pleasant workers and great coffee. It's kind tucked away and not easy to find. But it's worth it!

Worst Cappuccino in my life. I went to record a podcast in this place and they gave me the cappuccino in a plastic cup. Also the croissant in a bag. Not recommend this place at all. Hey Guys when you going to a coffee shop is for been happy and relax. Service was not good for me.

Thought I told the lady I wanted a cheese toast got the food and it was only not even a half of Cuban toast went back to add cheese lady said there would be an up-charge mind you the sign says $4.25 Cuban toast with cheese I was charged $11 already for a small coffee and just a toast not even half of Cuban smh last time I’ll visit this location !

I usually regularly frequent this place and have loved their coffee. This morning I went to pick up my order (which costs >$8 as I get a large iced latte) only to be handed a cup half filled with a latte and be told “my ice machine is broken. This is all I can offer you”. The staff member then turned and walked away. I would have expected to be offered an alternative or a refund or something. I appreciate good coffee and don’t mind paying but I was really put off by this experience. I also work at a hospital and can’t just go get my own ice to fill this so I’ve essentially purchased a Luke warm 12 oz latte for 8 dollars. I just feel this should have been handled differently.

My sister and I used to go here often during our time at USF (maybe 5-6 years ago now?), we were back in town visiting and figured we’d stop by for old times sake. I’m not sure if the coffee they used changed or the way they make their drinks changed, but we got two dirty chai’s (one hot and one cold) and liked neither of them. We didn’t let management know, since it was clearly just different than what we expected and not their fault. We instead got one of their mochas too and that tasted much better. The vibe was still the same, which was nice, but sad that the dirty chai seems to have changed.

Get back on uber eats y’all :( I dont have a car and miss ordering from you guys

I ordered an iced mocha latte with oat milk. The coffee was delicious, but I gave them 4 stars because there’s not enough parking in the front and charged a $1.50 for oat milk which is very expensive from other coffee houses in Tampa that have charged me 80 cents. I only get oat milk because of allergies.

I’m not one to write reviews, also I Iike to support small businesses. I was really excited to try this spot, especially after reading the reviews and menu online. Sadly me and my partner were disappointed to say the least. They mixed up our coffee orders but fixed it (no worries it happens). We also ordered a croissant sandwich and an early bird. The early bird had 2 paper thin slices of deli Turkey and 1 slice of cheese… and the Turkey croissant had the same amount!! I wish I took a picture for this review. It was hardly any food. Starbucks is a better value on the food, and since there was no nutritional value to mostly bread we did end up each getting a sandwich there right afterwards which is really sad after we spent $30 for 2 “sandwiches” and 1 small and 1 large beverage. I will never go back. I have never had an food experience that warranted going to another place afterwards. I would say this maybe is a great spot for coffee (my judgement is clouded by my experience as whole) but a no go for food.

Lots of drink and food options. The seating inside is typically pretty tight and filled up, but they have additional seating outside. There is a small shopping area with jewelery, tshirts, and a few other items that you can look through while waiting in line.

I love coming to this place. I’m not from Florida but I’ve been here for the last four years while attending usf and this place reminds me of my home town (Austin, Tx) so much. The coffee is amazing, they roast their product themselves, and also make great little sandwhiches and snacks. It can get really busy some come early or on a week day, but it’s a nice place to study or just meet up with some friends!

Don't order over the phone just warning everyone here! Coffee is okay here but beware of the service and management. I placed an order over the phone and was unaware there was an extra charge. The guy with the brown hair who I think is the owner took my order over the phone and did not tell me that there was an extra charge and I found it odd that he hung up without telling me the total. I questioned why I was charged extra and the other worker told me there is an extra charge when you place an order over the phone. I told the other worker I was unaware and wasn't told there was an extra charge in a non confrontational way. The guy jumps into the conversation and proceeds to reprimand me in an aggressive tone in front of the entire store. I tried to defend my self without escalating. He tells me "I should have asked the total" If you're going to charge anyones card you tell them the total. He is very rude, aggressive, confrontational and egotistical. This is not the first time I witnessed him doing this to customers, at the 42nd location I have seen him talking down to customers. On top of that I asked for a lightly sweetened latte and he gives me a very sweet latte. I didn't even want to go back to tell them to fix it because I felt so degraded. Used to visit your locations all the time but now I'm traumatized. Please learn basic respect for customers and empathy. Thank you. Disclaimer: Just looked at their website no where on the website does it say there is an extra charge for over the phone orders. As a common courtesy I should have been told or else how was I supposed to know. Honestly ridiculous to gaslight me into thinking it is my fault. Will not be returning!

Really loved the atmosphere. Felt like an unassuming cottage off of a very high traffic area. Tucked away so you didn’t hear any noise from the street. The staff was friendly and I liked that they had outdoor seating. There was a small boutique and a small seating area inside with nice decor. Rather bohemian. Who doesn’t love a little crunch though? Would frequent this place if I was local. Breakfast sandwich was pretty par for the course: egg and cheese on a croissant. Hard to complain about unless you don’t like crumbs, but I’m not a complete psycho and I know what to anticipate with a fresh croissant. My only critique is that I wished my “teacher’s pet” drink had more of a peanut butter kick. It was mocha with peanut butter. Only had a hint.

My absolute favorite cafe around USF! This place is a hidden gem. You can study there, play games, sip on your coffee indoors or outdoors. Along with that, you can even display or buy art! Beautiful art is on display by local artists, such an amazing way of showing support! Whenever someone is here to visit me in Tampa, I always take them to Felicitous at least once!! Love this place..must visit! Also, just a bias..I love the 51st location more than the 42nd one even though that’s a bigger spot!

This place deserves 6 stars!!! Legitimately the best espresso drinks, matcha, and vibes in Tampa. I’m obsessed with their Dreamcatcher latte (vanilla and lavender). The portions are huge, and they have so many creative, delectable sounding drinks I can’t wait to try. I will come here on the weekends and spend upwards of 5-6 hours doing homework, and buying drinks and snacks. One of my favorite coffee shops ever.

Inside is a crowded room with old furniture, but this is fine for students. However, the tables outside are surrounded by dead plants and dirt ground which was probable grass at one point. Not a nice place to have a meal or even coffee outside. Perhaps college students don't care sitting at an abandon lot like place.

Cute place! I got a chocolate croissant, and they heated it for me but it was dense. Not crispy or crunchy in the slightest. However, I think that’s just not their specialty. It’s an adorable place with wonderful staff. Definitely want to come again!

Cute and cozy local coffee shop. I had the gingersnap latte and it was very flavorful but it fell a little bit in the sugar department. If you add a little more sugar it would be fantastic! Now the danish omg it was super delicious. I would definitely come back for the danish alone.

Ordered a drink based on my zodiac sign (Capricorn) which I thought was so fun! It was pistachio and rose flavor and absolutely delicious. Such a cozy cafe! Really friendly staff.

Ok now THIS is a coffee shop! It's a converted cozy looking home. It's like walking into Grandma's house just as she's making amazing coffee. Great atmosphere and super friendly service and YESSS my coffee was perfect!

I moved near here from Illinois and have been struggling fitting in. I do online school and I decided to visit yesterday and get some work done. It is a beautiful shop with so many lovely, friendly people who come in. It’s a great place to go to feel at home. Great service and great quality. Going to make this a regular spot for me for sure.

I order coffee and Cuban cheese toast most days during the work week. The baristas are so friendly and creative. Parking can be tricky but if you drive to the left of the building there is a huge lot in the back. I love sitting outside on a Sunday afternoon with a book and a latte! The folks that work there are so kind and really get to know you 🙂

I absolutely loved the energy and the various coffee, tea, food, and even accessories offered! It is extremely laid-back with wifi and a printer for those of us who work from home! I look forward to patronizing here again soon!! I highly recommend the "honeybear" and the "red eye" coffee specialty drinks!
