The service was quick and the staff were really nice. The place was spotless and the food was amazing!

We dined in. We have eaten there several times, we have experienced great service, until recently. They don’t have any vegan/vegetarian options - however up until this last visit the servers have always offered great recommendations to accommodate. Sadly, our server was not the best on our last visit. He didn’t bring our waters until we asked again (no lemon as requested), he never brought the soda my Fiancee asked for - happy to see that wasn’t on the bill. So $14 for two soft fajita veggie tacos, beans and rice. I asked for no cheese, cheese was on the tacos and the beans - ok, I will scrape them off and not make a comment or send back. Ummm ok, $14 seems steep for that, BUT when I saw the bill, they added a $1 to each taco as an UP CHARGE for only veggie tacos, (And used “Steak” $1 up charge - you know why, because they don’t have a button/designation for veggies as an up charge - because that is straight up RIDICULOUS). I was not told how much the meal would be - pick 2 and that there would be an additional up charge, because I would have shared that had not been my experience before. Then they tried to tell me that they gave me the same amount of veggies that I would have received in an order of veggie fajitas, I can tell you that is not the case. If there was a 1/3 of a cup of veggies for both tacos I would be shocked (mostly carrots/onions) 1 piece of broccoli and one piece of cauliflower and maybe 3 strips of bell pepper in total. My Fiancee paid the same price for a steak burrito with you guessed it - grilled veggies, rice beans, shredded cheese, queso (the works) as big as a babies head and paid the same price - which by the way, he believes he got food poisoning, because he was up all night sick! Recommendation: if you can’t create tacos, burritos that have rice beans and veggies, then add an a la carte menu, to allow people to build their own taco, burrito, etc with options that are veggie and vegan friendly.

Miguel was a good server and his recommendations were on point. We went for dinner and had a patron margarita, horchata drink, chilaquiles, and chicken green enchiladas. If you’re looking for a good and quick bite, this place is a great choice. Definitely worth trying.

Our new favorite!! The Chipotle burrito was great. We loved the tuna ceviche and table side guacamole. The bartender was fantastic!

Miguel was incredibly nice, he made sure our order was correct, hot, and fast, he had great service and was very nice, definitely made our first experience here a great one, will definitely come here again!

Great atmosphere, delicious food and Miguel is the best waiter we’ve ever had! Never had to ask for drinks to be refilled and he stopped to ask if we needed anything several times. He had a wonderful smile and was very personable. Live music tonight with classics from the 70s and 80s

I’m a Chios and salsa girl. Theirs is amazing and no extra fees! The skinny spicy margaritas are fabulous. Their house margaritas are hands down delicious. We will be back!!!!

Great street style tacos. I tried the lobster tacos and was not disappointed. The margaritas are very good, too. Update: Came back a second time and upgraded my review to 5 stars overall. The salsa is so good. It's super fresh ingredients. The chips taste fresh and warm. I always get tacos when I am somewhere that they seem anything like what I've had in Guadalajara, and these are pretty good. I'm sure the other menu items are delicious but I'll probably keep getting tacos. My buddy had the chicken quesadillas and liked it so well he was messaging his wife about bringing her here. My only criticism is that the volume is so high for the live music. The musician was fine, but it was so loud over by the bar I don't think I would have been able to hear my own thoughts, let alone a waiter or waitress. They kindly seated my on the other side of the restaurant when I requested it.

Nothing authentic about it over Price drinks and sub par food 🤷🏽‍♂️ If you are going out to socialize with a group of people this might be the place for you but if you want some authentic Mexican food try someplace else.

Went for lunch. The food was delicious and served fast. The staff was very friendly.

My family loves Mexican food and this did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean, wait staff was super attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious. The complementary chips came out hot and the salsa was very good with a mild kick. My children ate all of their food and said they would like to come back. They also had a number of different options from lettuce wraps, bowls, etc for those with eating limitations which I thought was great.

Came in for lunch with a wounded warrior (vet). Service wasn't bad, food was amazing. We ordered 2 fajitas, server only wrote down 1. Manager came by and corrected everything. Within a few minutes my meal was out. Very good fajitas & the rice and beans oh my lord 😋 recommend❗️

It was my first time going and I was not disappointed. I only got the bowl, I regret not getting the horchata, but next time, I will. The bowl itself was blended with great flavor that complimented each other. I'm not sure if I will get something different next time since that bowl is probably one of the best bowls I had.

Late first lunch visit ( after lunch menu expired), food was great, service was great, on par or cheaper than the local competition . The birria tacos and shrimp tacos were excellent. The beans were a little boring. My companion loved the Mojito.

This place is GREAT! We ordered the Burrito Loco and tableside guac. Our server, Miguel, was very attentive, polite, and makes the best guac in the entire restaurant. Definitely a must eat, and ask for Miguel!

We really appreciated having such a large selection of food and specialties. The meat in the meat dishes was very tasty and tender. I had the Azul bowl and it was truly scrumptious...great mix of flavors. My husband enjoyed the beef quesadilla. The margaritas were made well.

I met a friend there for lunch. We both really enjoyed it. They have a big menu, and a huge drink list. And the prices were reasonable.

My husband and I have been here 2 times. We have been to La Cochina, Garibaldi etc., others snd are were very good. BUT this restaurant is the BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER! It’s amazing and so is the customer service, which is missing in most restaurants today. Their staff is genuine, fun and they treat you like a customer is support be treated as a guest in their restaurant. Not to mention their mixologist makes the best drinks! Their Mexican Tacos and the pineapple upside down cake is yummy 😋. This is our new spot!

Food was completely cold and old, completely different from the first time my family and friends came to eat.

if i could give the food a 0/5 star i would. their chips and salsa/queso was okay but i ordered their tortilla soup and the veggies in it were rubber. my boyfriend ordered their birria tacos and they looked weird and not like any we’ve ever seen. The beans were in a watery salty liquid and were horrible too. I’m not sure why this place has so many good reviews. will never go again.

Really wanted to try the El Pastor here but after was told they were out after waiting for my ordered burrito to arrive. Had the chicken chimi as a replacement and it was very good and the presentation was unique...like a little dumpling! I would order it again. We had separate checks and I'm not sure how the server screwed up putting my friend's meal on my card and vice versa. We didn't have her fix it to save us the hassle. Place is the old outback and it is the same seating arrangement. Freshened up-it looks nice. I would definitely recommend going.

Really cool laid back vibe atmosphere. The waiter was incredible there was barely any waiting and food & drinks were barely any wait! They greet you with chips & salsa. The fajitas for 2 was more like for 4. Everything was fresh, seasoned properly and delicious!!! Definitely 5 stars and going back for that Taco Salad. 😉

Steak was almost exclusively chunks of fat. Hardly any actual meat. Not good for one of the more expensive items on the menu.

Their food is pre cooked and not very good. We ordered a meal and no alcohol. The waiter never can back to the table until we paid. Food was delivered to the table by another waiter within 5 minutes of ordering. I had fish tacos, they were cold, although fully cooked and smelled very fishy. Husband had a burrito, he said it was tasteless. We will not go back a second time.

I had Pescado Entero (whole fried fish); it is not written on the menu, you have to ask the waitress; it was very crunchy and tasty. My husband had Chimichanga, looked small but it was very filling. They are very good in refilling the chips, drinks. Our waiter kept asking, "Everything is good here amigos?"

My burrito was very bland. It was their large one with alot of ingredients, should have had flavor. Fajitas, beef and chicken were very good. My friend did not eat her chimichanga, too salty. Service was great, food came out fast. Doesn't really look like a Mexican restaurant. Muted colors. We may go back for fajitas but nothing else.

I was craving Mexican food and Google what was near by and found this place so decided to give a try. I just ordered online for take out and picked it up to go but I had the tortilla soup, chicken and steak burrito, and the tres leches cake. They were all good and it’s a large portion of food and filling so I had leftovers for the next day!

It's beautiful inside. Food was okay. Service was okay. I would suggest that they make more room in the booth so people can sit comfortably. I watched 3 different groups of people come in and had big belly's, including myself, have issues fitting in the booth.

The food was amazing. It was my first time there. Our server was from Guatemala and very friendly. He brought Apple shots to our table after we ate. I never had it before but it went down smooth. It's my favorite spot to eat so far in Apopka!

First time dining here and it was fantastic! Our server, Ariana was welcoming and attentive. The food was amazing, from chips and salsa, entrees and dessert. The margaritas were elevated by fresh fruit and mint leaves. The service was quick and friendly. Miguel anticipated our every need. Throughout the experience, my friend and I kept remarking how The Tequila House has secured a spot in our favorites.

I don't like going to eat at Mexican food restaurants but it was my son birthday and that's where he wanted to go let me tell you something the atmosphere was incredibly awesome the customer service was fantastic are waiter with outstanding incredible service now let me tell you about the food oh my goodness that food was popping in flavor so delicious I enjoy each and every thing that we order from the alcohol beverage to the appetizer to the main course and dessert is one place that I will go back to enjoy again real authentic Mexican food so if you looking for a great place to eat authentic Mexican food Google this restaurant because from my understanding they have three locations in Orlando Florida

Three of us went for lunch today. The decor is very pretty, clean, and music not too loud. The server was very patient and knowledgeable. I ordered the Azul bowl and it was excellent. All ingredients seemed fresh and tasty. Hubby really enjoyed his chicken fajita and our friend thoroughly enjoyed her chicken quesadillas. The portion sizes are large, we took home half of it!! We will be returning there in the not too distant future!

Had an amazing lunch here Saturday! I sat outside since it was a nice day and immediately Juan, my server, came to greet me and get me started on an app and drink (shout out to Juan for being great!). I ordered the Watermelon margarita and queso fundio with chorizo. chips and salsa also was brought to my table. The queso fundio was so delicious I had to contain my happy dance, I almost ate the whole thing. I then ordered the salmon tacos which was topped with a mango salsa and the tacos were just as good as the tacos I had in California (and those were literally the best). I didn't get to see much of the inside but outside had nice music playing and was nicely put together. 11/10 recommended and can't wait to treat myself to lunch here again. I almost want to order something new when I go but I know I'll likely have those tacos again lol

We stopped in on Sunday and had the best service with Jael and Jose. The shrimp ceviche was so refreshing. Jael and Jose made it a great experience and excellent service. We will be back soon.

If you’re in the mood for delicious Mexican food and drinks in a sophisticated and welcome atmosphere this is THE PLACE to visit! The menu is expansive and offers options for every pallet. The bacon wrapped shrimp over honey sweet potatoes fries was a mouth watering appetizer that could have easily been served as a meal. Steak tacos were prepared to perfection. The salmon salad was also delicious. The portion sizes are generous so come with a big appetite. Pina colada was a good mix of pineapple & sweet coconut.Two delicious meals, one scrumptious appetizer, 1 soda and one drink for only $58! Highly recommend for an excellent meal and great service.

The waiter Jose was so attentive to our table of 20! He made my bday so special! I had reservations for 7pm. The host who greeted us had told us our table was in fact ready. The food here is fantastic! My favorite is the chimichurri steak. I cannot remember exactly what it’s called but it is absolutely delicious! You cannot go wrong with the table side guacamole as well.
