We only visit this location on occasion when passing nearby on I-10, but the service has always been quick. The staff are friendly, and the food and ingredients have tasted fresh every time we have visited this location.

Service was terrible. Employees were not friendly. It took forever to get our order and then it came out in a bag and to go boxes covered in mayonnaise and grease. The salad had too much salt and pepper and didn't have meat on it like it was supposed to...we had to go back in and have it put on.

I'm impressed with how slow the service is. It is crazy how long it took for me to get my meal. I was waiting a long time mind you, and was so confused on what was taking so long as there was only 1 person ordering when I walked in. By the time I realized I should not of came in, they called a person's name that I didn't even know what waiting on their food..... If your looking for a quick bite, this takes as long as a restaurant takes.

My only complaint was the bread..... It wasn't as soft as it normally is

got dinner from here and i live right across the street when i got there food wasn’t even ready it look another 20 minutes i noticed another guy who dined in and he looks pretty mad too he already finished his chips and a whole large drink before he got one sub, by the time i got it and what i thought would be nice and fresh i couldn’t even eat it nor could anyone else it was so soggy and cold and i don’t even live a minute away and i went back up there for the things they forgot and they took my ticket and went and made it and workers were bent down and were whispering about my forgotten items, i received told them thank you and have a good night and was completely ignored

The new Cuban is awesome. I put all that coleslaw in top of it to the side for a side item. A foot long filled me up twice

Understaffed most the time, always backed up on orders, everyone there is frustrated because of it and the staff are usually grumpy as a result. The food is very mid too. Used to be the best place in Macclenny to get a sub, now it’s too expensive and just bland most the time. Might want to order an hour ahead of time because you’ll wait no matter what the pick up time says.

WHAT A JOKE!!! Both (2) orders incorrect While waiting for remake on one other one got cold. It was hot sandwich. I asked for it to be warmed, so I could eat it while my son ate his. They brought it out steaming hot. Lettuce tomato hot. Even pickle. HOT. (Payback)? I asked for mgr. She didn’t know how to refund my returned sandwich. One girl did I saw her doing eye rolls afterwards. Two days ago I had the same sandwich and it was delicious. NOT SORRY ATTITUDE. NEVER SPOKEN

They won't honor the prices and specials they advertise, and they constantly host "Trump club" meetings, so if you are someone that likes politics with their lunch that's your place.

Great sandwich place. I love the pastrami sandwich and the brisket.

I made a pickup order for 7:05 and when I got there my sandwich was not ready or even in the process of being made. There were 6 other people standing there waiting for their orders and the employees seemed more interested in talking with each other than actually making anyones food. It took them 30 minutes to make my sandwich that was supposed to be ready when I got there. The quality of the sandwich was nowhere near the quality of a normal Firehouse Sub, ingredients were not portioned correctly and way too much sauce.

UPDATE: 01-12-24: This Firehouse Subs is usually great. Today it was even better. The subs were made just like we wanted them and tasted wonderful!! The soup and chili were great too!! AND, the people working there are still very friendly!! 2019: This Firehouse Subs has been great everytime I've been there. Friendly people, my order has ALWAYS been correct, and even though it takes time to fix the food, it's not as long as some other stores. I had a large order yesterday and all of them were correct. I used the app to order them. I like the app. It's easy to use and the food is usually ready right on time.

Ordered a foot long sub. Girl asked me what I wanted on the steak sub so I told her. Got the order to go. Got home and not one vegetable I asked for on the sub. The worst sub ever and will not go back. Now someone named Anna says this is not the kind of review they hoped for. But they never try to make it right. Done with Firehouse Subs. Do not go here.

Better than the last time I went. My sandwich was hot this time. A little wait in line but it was good.

Did an online order and still had to wait over 10 minutes, I only ordered a bowl of chicken and dumplings soup…when I got back to my office, my soup literally had no dumplings at all in the soup

4 employees plus a manager with 4 couples waiting for subs and it took 30 minutes. Way too long to wait for a sub. They were all teenagers just goofing around and worried about closing I came in at 7:55 left at 8:25 they close at 9… nice employees just no sense of urgency to make the orders at all.

Really gone down hill. All kids running shift. No welcome to Firehouse. To 30 minutes to get our food. It was slapped together with no care

The only bad experience I've had here is when I ordered two subs and only got one. Other than that it's definitely a lunch go-to.

Always forget the pickle, never get the sub the way I order it and now they raised the prices, little hint to the owner...THIS AINT JERSEY MIKES LOWER YOUR PRICES, I WILL not spend another dime for subs made wrong everytime I order and something as simple as getting a pickle with each sub y'all forget. Make it make sense? Get better.

We ordered and two people who ordered after us got their food first. The teenager staff were unprofessional as they mocked a customer complaint that called in about cold food in front of everyone in restaurant. There were four people yet they seemed to not care about people waiting for their orders. Management is poor. Don't waste your time or money here.

This is the most dysfunctional Firehouse Subs I've ever been to. I placed an order for 6:35 pickup on a Thursday night. I walk in and there are 20+ people in there waiting on their food. There are 4 people working, bread everywhere, and nobody looks like they know what they're doing. I got my food 25 minutes late. They gave me the wrong sub. I ordered a large Italian on white, and received a medium club on wheat (I had multiple subs and didn't realize it until I got home). My sub, which they got correct, was the extremely sloppy. They used like half of the ingredients and I had to "assemble" it again when I got home. I will not be going again.

The hook and ladder was fresh, piping hot, and very tasty. Probably one of the best I've ever had. It was a little slow on the service. Everyone was friendly though. It was pretty busy.

Normally I give a great review. They messed up our order here. I don’t normally have this issue at firehouse. So I was kind of surprised.

Great sammiches. You got to try the Turkey Club or the New York Steamer.

worlds better than any of the subways in town! i love their veggie sub and the sparkling cherry limeade! a little on the pricey side but now not so much compared to subway.

Ordered a steak and cheese on white, no peppers, just onions, extra meat, extra mayo and spicy mustard. Asked the guy behind the counter for more extra mayonnaise. He walked around for a few minutes like he didn't know where it was. I finally said nevermind as long as it was extra on there, he assured me that it was. I get home, they put it on wheat bread, no extra meat, no extra mayo, raw peppers. I picked out the little bit of meat that was on there and had to throw the rest of it away. I haven't been back since.

Got the smoked turkey club and there was very little meat, no bacon, and overall meh. They also added onion when I asked not to Staff was ambivalent.

The store was very busy with online orders, which delayed the actual pick-up times. Every associate in the store was polite and apologetic for the extended wait times. Very good service!

Orderd 1 sub at 340. Still waiting 20 mins later. 4 people working behind the counter. I counted 5 people in the lobby also waiting on their food whn i first arrived. The effort from the employees this shift was non existent. As a former firehouse employee, this experience was not as good as it could've been

Staff needs training on speaking. I waited at the counter for at least 7 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Everyone was steady moving around like they didn’t see me .

I wish I could give this experience a 0. Service was horrible. Girl taking the order could not understand anything got our name wrong, looked blank when I said no bread. We waited 30 mins only to be given 2 of the sandwiches we ordered and they were completed wrong at that. Had reorder and waited another 30 mins behind all the new orders placed, only again to get the WRONG items. The reworked the order and still made one of the sandwiches completely wrong *ordered fully involved and it was missing all condiments * This was an awful experience!!!

I waited to get my order taken. I waited 20 minutes to get 1 meatball sub. Customers that ordered well after me received their food. Several other customers sought refunds for their wait and left without food. Disorganized mess. Avoid this location.

I went in completed and my order at 4:30. With fully involved expect no deli mustard at honey and cheddar cheese instead of provolone. 20 min later the sandwich comes back made incorrectly and the employee had his finger on the sandwich while carrying it to me. After I returned the sandwich they said "I'm sorry." And done nothing else. I finally just walked out. Didn't even offer a refund or to remake the sandwich. What's sad is I personally worked at firehouse subs. I should have went around and made it myself.

Went for lunch, and it took 20 minutes to get one sub. Not worth just dropping by, call ahead if you want

If you like a good, hearty sandwich with tons of flavor-this is your place! The service is fast & friendly. Quality is always great. Plus any purchase supports your area's Fire Department, law enforcement, emergency services, etc. I highly recommend the Beef & Cheddar Brisket.

I order the tuna sandwich almost exclusively. I've never had so little tuna on the sandwich before. Maybe inflation? I don't know, but very disappointed.

We stop here when driving through to my hometown in the panhandle, and it's always a nice little break from driving.

The staff is always nice, greeting you as soon as you walk in the door. We've never had any issues with our food and they keep the place clean. Thank you Firehouse for always taking care of us. For Active Duty/ Retired Military, they will add an upgrade to a combo as a discount which is very nice.

4.5 out of 5 for me. I more prefer a warm sub to a cold one from subway. And with no nearby publix this is the best option for me. I love the brisket and cheddar with the pickle

We love Firehouse Subs. On this particular visit we felt the staff was not as engaging as they have been before. Our beef brisket was also dry. We will however revisit.

Stopped here for a quick lunch before going to Wild Adventures! Everything was clean and the employees wore their masks correctly. Food was super fresh and as my son said "deee licious!" Wish our Jax location could take take some lesson from this location. Great job guys! 💛

Food was good, crew upbeat! Disappointed that absolutely no one was cleaning anything in the dining area. I was there for approximately 45 minutes, saw many guests using a table that another guest had just left. Not one table was ever wiped by staff. This isn't good even without covid protocols!
