Small coffee shop I didn't even know was here after years of living near by. The service was fantastic the coffee was amazing and the ambiance of the shop definitely stays true to the "farmhouse coffee shop" cozy feeling.

Never been so disappointed. Wanted to show a friend the shop and we ordered a sandwich and drink each, we ended up waiting 30+min for the food while they serve others that came after us and another 10min waiting on our drinks after we were done eating. Other than that, the sandwiches were great.

Highly recommend not getting the iced coffee. It was basically coffee flavored water with 2 pieces of ice.

Service is so friendly and I love the different specialty drinks menu inside the cute place. However I would definitely recommend when you order, to add an extra espresso shot to your lattes because the coffee is rather weak. This place makes the drinks too milky compared to other flavored lattes in the area.

We were in the area and wanted coffee. Flint River Coffee Company popped up and we decided to check it out; and, let me just say, I am so happy we did! This is excellent coffee! The flavors are so unique and playful! I love it! The staff was incredibly friendly, the location is easy to get to, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting! Highly recommend!!! Thank you!

The coffee was below average and didn't come close to being as good as the other coffee places in the area and the bagel tasted stale and had a questionable place that may or may not have been mold. I now remember why I stopped going here.

It's a cute and fun little coffee shop. I usually ask for easy milk; otherwise the drink is a little too milky for me.

The workers were incredibly friendly and helpful! One person from my group has food allergies and they were very helpful with finding the best drink for her. We got some sort of peanut butter chocolate frozen coffee (I forgot the name), as well as the protein peach smoothie, and both were quite tasty! We also ordered a few pastries, and the Blueberry Scones are a MUST for any pastry lovers.

This is our favorite place in Huntsville to get lattes and smoothies!!

Always great customer service. I usually come for iced or hot coffee, but today I asked for recommendations on a smoothie and was told the Strawberry Banana mixed with Peach. It was delicious!!

Great little coffee shop! Been several times and the coffee has always been tasty, the sandwiches are great for breakfast and lunch and the atmosphere of the shop is great to hang out in.

My last three visits over 3 months involved purchasing between 1-3 large cups of specialty coffee drinks. All “hot”. Every single cup was lukewarm at best. Today’s cup was “buttery finger” and even after I requested it be hot it was warm at best with a very weak coffee taste. At $5.46 for a large specialty coffee it should be hot and strong, instead of cold and weak. I know they can do better and I love the location and atmosphere, but the quality has to improve.

We don’t live in town, but when we visit we’re sure to stop at Flint River. Coffee and lattes are good, baked goods are tasty, the price is nice and the staff have always been pleasant.

Naming a mocha after the Trail of Tears is pretty disturbing and uncalled for

There is a mocha named “trail of tears” … very disturbing. Did not want to be confronted by something so inappropriate when just trying to get coffee … will be taking me and my family somewhere less offense next time

Was hoping to get a mocha this morning, but then it was labeled as the “Trail of Tears” Mocha on their menu. I can’t fathom why anyone would think that is an appealing or appropriate name. Making light of others suffering is NOT a Christian way to do business.

I enjoy this little coffee shop. It has a cozy welcoming atmosphere that larger coffee shops do not.

My boyfriend and I love the small coffee shop feel and maybe we just haven’t tried the good stuff on the drink menu, but it just seems like every time we get drinks there they seem watered down and lacking in flavor.

I got a Carmel Iced Latte and a Classic turkey sandwich, both were really good and the girl working the drive thru window was super sweet.

My husband and I have been to Flint River coffee on several occasions for coffee and lunch. Since we enjoyed the lunch sandwiches so much, we decided to go for breakfast. I wish I had read the reviews before doing so. We also ordered a sausage biscuit. For the price they charge there should have been something better than a microwaved biscuit with a processed egg and sausage. My husband’s biscuit was soggy. Mine was dry. It really did not matter as they were quite unappetizing. While we may return for coffee and lunch, we certainly will never go back for breakfast. We were also given the same explanation as others as to why everything is served on a paper plate. Whatever the reason, it made the experience even less enjoyable.

Sandwiches were good. Coffee was bland. I didn't get any specialty drinks, so I can't talk to those. I think it's important to have a good latte or cappuccino without sugar or flavoring before adding extras. Unfortunately, it just didn't meet my expectations. The interior is really cute and cozy, and the service was friendly, quick, and professional.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this cozy little shop. It's always a treat to step into this shop with a friendly greeting and good customer service with an amazing selection of coffee to choose from. Their coffee puts me into a better mood immediately. I highly enjoy the Jamaican me crazy, the mirage, the birthday cake, and the strawberry shortcake.

My absolute favorite local coffee shop. The coffee selection is phenomenal— I’m an iced latte gal but they’ve got something for everyone— lots of roast options that I’m sure would appease nearly any palette. They have a lot of non-coffee drink options as well as pastries and food. Great space with plenty of seating options including a little library room in the back. The owner comes in often and knows many of the customers/regulars by name, it’s clear he cares a lot about the shop and the community that it has created. The staff are always nice and the service has been great every single time I’ve been there. Love that they have a drive-thru option as well. Makes them the perfect stop for a morning coffee on the way to work.

Great coffee and service, comfortable seating and relaxing atmosphere. I was, though, uncomfortable not being able to tip on my card as I didn't have any cash and the barista made me a great cappuccino and even delivered it to the table.

We went for breakfast and coffee. Coffee was fine ordered and egg and cheese croissant. What I got was a Jimmy Dean's microwaved egg and cheese croissant extremely disappointed

Such a cute restaurant. This morning I just had a Piper and Leaf strawberry tea and a warm chocolate muffin but I will be back to try lunch soon! So glad I now live in close vicinity to a locally owned and operated coffee shop that I can visit often.

Love this place! The coffee is yummy and the people are so nice! There is a little community library that you can borrow books from and plenty of seating if you're looking to stay a while. There are lots of fun coffee combos on the menu! It's nice to see a small business in the area! Give them a try if you haven't yet 😊

This was our first visit with this coffee shop and we loved it. My peppermint Mocha coffee and my sandwich were delicious!

I’ve been here a few times before. I’ve tried their sandwiches which are fantastic. Their coffee is also good. This time around I got my first smoothie from there. It was the very Berry with whipped cream. I paid $6.50 for it. It was good but not a smoothie texture. It was more a slushy form with whipped cream. It was good but I won’t get another one unless I want a slushy. That’s what they should be called. Yet for the price and size, I think it was a good buy.

Decent spot. Local hangout. The food options are a lil lacking for me. But eh, went there for a ☕️ coffee. It hit the spot and worth going back. Check out the quiet reading room. Bring a book, take a book.

I absolutely LOVE this coffee shop! I saw them on my way to work one day, and I knew I wouldn't have time to go get my usual drink from Wendy's, but I was going to die if I didn't get some caffeine! So I decided to stop and check it out and I am sooooo glad I did! This is now my favorite coffee shop in Huntsville! The coffee is rich and delicious! I am super picky about my coffee and I like a lot of sweetness and flavor to drown the bitterness of the coffee. I asked the amazing baristas what a good selection would be, and every time they have suggested something to me, I have tried it and have never been disappointed! I am currently stuck on the Jamaica me crazy coffee! Sooooo good! The employees here are so helpful, sweet and wonderful to talk to, especially in the morning when I am not in the best mood! LOL The owner Keith is very polite and humorous and I love that he works right alongside his employees! Not many employers still do that these days! In addition to coffee, they have other things like tea and hot chocolate, and they have breakfast items like bagels, scones, muffins and danishes! The cinnamon roll danishes are my favorite! They also have lunch items like sandwiches and chips! One of my favorite items to get to drink with my lunch is a mango smoothie! Their smoothies are out-of-this-world good!!! They even have protein powder that they can add to it for you (I did this a lot while pregnant)! They even have a rewards program where you get a free coffee after you buy 9! I have been in the shop a few times and I love the cozy atmosphere here! I would definitely eat in if I had a longer lunch break! It is very clean inside and is well maintained with an older-style country feel to it. I love it! This establishment has never once disappointed, but I know if something wasn't to my liking, they would definitely help me out! To those that want to complain about prices: clearly, you don't know a thing about owning a small business and the amount of money it costs to run one, especially after COVID. You are basically paying Starbucks prices, maybe even a little less, for better quality products and services! I will take my business here over Starbucks any day! The only suggestions I have for the coffee shop would be to add the option to add a tip when paying with a card (this may already be an option I'm not aware of), and to try to have the drive-thru and parking lot paved or completely concreted to make it easier to get in and out (I realize that this costs a lot of money and might also be in the works). Long story short: I absolutely love this awesome coffee shop!

So today was my 1st time trying Flint River's coffee here in Newmarket. I wanted to try the Whiskey latte. Yum Right!! I decided to add White Pumpkin to it as well and make it blended. So I waited a bit in the drive-thru and then was ask to pull up to the rooster. I abliged. Within minutes my drink comes out! Yea!!! I'M so excited to try this new creation. Immediately I regret paying 7 bucks it tasted totally like Ice no flavor just blended Ice. So no biggie I turn my car around and go inside and just ask for a remake not wanting the same thing twice I ask Olivia for it not to be blended. She then states that will be another 7 dollars. I asked why... She said it wasn't our fault we gave you what you asked for. So then I stated you did but it wasn't made to my liking it tastes like Ice. Her rebuttal was we use the same amount of ice in everything. With that may be true. In the retail world I'm in different brands make the same size 8 different ways same as batista at different coffee companies. Just because you come in my store buy a size 8 and if it doesn't fit I say sorry you bought your correct shoe size right. No exchanges you must pay full price again for a different size. That would be insanity right. If this is there policy because they are a small business and did not account for losses in there business acumen for remakes they will forever have a sign out front asking the community to support their local coffee shop. Until Keith or the owner reaches out to make this right. I will never return to this company. Customer service is what keeps me coming back not fancy buildings with popular brand marketing. Note to Flint River Coffee take care of your local community and it will take care of you.

I have been going to Flint River Coffee for years now and I am never disappointed in their coffee or their customer service. They are the sweetest people and always deliver quality service and kindness. On Thursday, they outdid themselves. I had been having an extremely rough day and went through the drive thru for a coffee. The barista does not know me outside of my frequent orders but could tell I was upset. I received this handwritten note on my coffee cup. Absolutely made my day! A huge thank you to that barista and to Flint River for their uplifting Christian atmosphere!

Always use to pass by when I stayed in Huntsville. I visited my mom and sister the other day while my sister and I had a little sister time decided to stop by since my dentist appointment was early and I didn't eat. I'm glad I did the sandwich was great.

One of the best coffee shops in the Huntsville-Madison county area. The farmhouse turned coffee shop has a great vibe. They converted me to iced coffee with 3 shots of additional espresso. Great place to bring the little ones as they have a library stocked with children’s books and games. Seriously, go get you some Flint River Coffee.

Great prices! Everything I've tried so far is great, the smoothies and coffee is good, mixed well. Croissants yummy and decent local bakery items available. Have yet to try their sandwiches, that is next on the list! (Will update when I do!) Nice atmosphere and good service.

The coffee is wonderful! However, on one of my visits, I was very disheartened to see the owner yelling at an employee in front of customers. Regardless of the issue, this type of behavior from a manager is unacceptable. Any issues with employees should be dealt with privately, calmly, and respectfully. Not right in front of customers. This made me highly uncomfortable. I haven’t been back since.

The lattes/mochas need some work. The last few I've had over the past month have been 99.9% sugar milk. They used to be really good.

As a huge coffee lover, I have tried my fair share of cafes and coffee shops from small local ones like this to chains. And this is my one of the best. If not the best. The coffee is amazing, the food is also. And the service is always the best. The owners are there a lot and are super friendly also. I live close by so I frequent this place and do meetings with clients here. And they never disappoint!! Make sure to stop by if you are considering it. You will not regret it!

This is my local go to coffee shop. I'm not overly enthusiastic about a particular national chain I won't mention. I pay these folks a visit instead anytime I can. Not far from the house with a large selection, fast drive-thru service, high quality product there's really nothing at all to complain about. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

This place has some of the best coffee, unfortunately, I can no longer support their business because I do not support businesses that are closed on Sundays.

They have so many unique coffee flavors, and you can get them hot or cold, which I like cause I am a cold coffee person. Their food is also good.

While riding through my dad noticed this coffee shop, so we had to stop by and try some. I was really surprised with how friendly the batistas are. They suggested us which beverages they enjoyed the most and the dishes they liked off their menu. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. I'd suggest it to anyone whoever there and hasn't tried it yet. It's nice to be able to stop by and enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat.

Still a favorite! I moved further away from it, but will make it a point to visit when I'm out that way.
