Great place for breakfast or lunch. Love the little bar nextdoor! The drinks are fantastic!

Great service and delicious food. The prime rib and egg special was juicy and full of flavor.

Soooo good! My gf got the crab cakes and they were GREAT! I had the brisket French dip sandwich thing, so good. The coleslaw was awesome.

This place is great, they have a neat store and the tap room was awesome also.

Delicious food. Large portions & great prices. Salmon blt was superb. The price even better! Waitress said the sweet potato chips were great. I was reluctant to try as I hate sweet potato’s. They were delicious. 2 of us ate for under $30.

This was our first time here and after reading all the reviews and seeing photos, we had high expectations. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed! We ordered the cinnamon roll, country fried steak & eggs, and cinnamon Raisin French toast. As you can see by the pics, the portions are generous. Everything tasted great and the only reason we didn't finish everything is because we got full. You do have to wait a little while to be seated, but you can walk around their store or grab a Mimosa and Bloody Mary like we did. The meal was worth the wait and I highly recommend this place. The whole experience is worth coming back for and we plan to do just that!

Ordered takeout, the waitress was in a hurry and threw the food down on the table and the Mac and cheese rolled out of the bag, she didn’t even look as she was headed back to the kitchen. Food was ok nothing special, don’t think it should cost so much for just a sandwich and fries. Would recommend another BBQ spot, but not the worst place.

Excellent food and speedy service. We drove up from Tampa, and it was definitely worth it. So much better than the typical chain brunch spots. The giant sharable cinnamon roll was awesome. Will be back for sure.

My dad is handicap. He had a stroke and he’s a veteran. They gave him mayonnaise. It’s been outside all day in the hot sun. Open it and shot mayonnaise all over his shirt and they did nothing for him.

Just a classic joint! Solid solid food. They always kill it. Only hard part is they pack out. Just go in knowing you might have to wait….but worth it.

We had Banana Pancakes, eggs & sausage and Home fries covered with Sausage Gravy topped with eggs and a biscuit.. Delicious food, but next time we'll have to share cause the servings are huge!

I loved this place. The food is so good! I didn't get biscuits and gravy, but after seeing them, I'm on a mission to go back. They give you $2 bills for change. It's busy so be prepared to wait, they do have fast service. Lots of smiling faces.

I've been to the one in Homosassa and it was fantastic, but I love the atmosphere at the BVL location! It's very much historical, family friendly and I even love the shop that's right next door! I wore the shirt there and people thought I worked there 🤣 I will definitely go back!

Short waiting time, sat at lunch counter. Food came in a timely manner and the ice tea tasted like tea not water.

Food is really good, atmosphere is extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Our server, I believe her name was Jennifer was on top of everything form start to finish, and we were checked on at all times and almost didn’t have to ask for anything because she had already asked us, or provided it. Prices we EXTREMELY reasonable, especially for portions. Just remember it’s cash only for anyone that typically doesn’t carry cash. From staff to food, this place gives you a great place to enjoy breakfast lunch or dinner.

Well first time there won't! Be going back. Food was ok . Service well we all felt rushed. They were in a rush to get us out the minute they placed our food. Crazy . Kept coming back looking at our plates every time we took a bite . Not a good feeling. No kid menu that was offered.

Great food and many choices. If you’re from out of town be sure to notice it’s “Cash Only”. Usually use cards when traveling so this was a surprise. Glad I had some cash on me.

I've been to 4 of the local Fl Cracker restaurants and this one never disappoints. I love the fast service and friendly employees. I always have to go to the store to find my next Fl cracker shirt or hat. These restaurants are the best for country soul food and I let everyone know it. Definitely worth the hour drive.

Everything about this place was wonderful. Staff were all very friendly. Sweet tea was top notch. Breakfast was all flavorful and good sized portions.

The best breakfast in Hernando county, it's a must. I'm from Maine but grew up in Brooksville, up and down the entire east coast 7 times driving ain't never been to a place like the Florida Cracker kitchen. Welcoming and a great atmosphere for breakfast or lunch, also the tap room next door is a must fellas! 🍻

Hot, very tight, crowded. The food was just so so. I was seated by a door and every time someone came in or out the door hit the back of my chair. Doubt I'd go back.

When I first walked in, everyone greeted me with a smile I was seated right away food came out fast/hot the food was on point my waiter was very nice. She also picked out the best item on the menu. I highly recommend this place. I will be back soon.

Down jome southern cooking. Absolutely excellent. I had the gator tail, homemade fries, and collard greens. Delicious. You have to try this place.

We have been to the Florida Cracker in Brooksville but it’s always so crowded. Nice to have Florida Cracker kitchen in Old Homosassa. Service is fast and courteous. Food is made from scratch and delicious MeMa’s giant cinnamon roll was yummy. Everyone tried something different and everyone enjoyed their choices. We will be back. Nice atmosphere with cute decor. Nice gift shop too.

Awesome spot with great food. The shrimp and grits was fantastic. The bourbon and beer tap room was also a great spot to have a few cold ones. Love the vibe of the whole place.

I left here feeling AMAZING. Great gravy, great potatoes, great eggs, great pancakes, the list goes on! I can’t wait to come back. Cash only feels weird but at the same time has that nice country feel. On top of that, they gave us our change in $2 bills. That’s awesome! I love $2 bills 😃

This place is a nice small town restaurant. We had drinks next door while we waited for a table in the restaurant. I had beer, but the other three in our party had mixed drinks. I tried my wife's. The blood orange drink made me regret getting a beer. At the restaurant, I had a gator po-boy and a side of corned beef hash. The po-boy was delicious, and the corned beef hash was hands down the best I've ever had! The service was good and the waitress was really personable. I'll certainly be back!

My first time but I will be a regular from now on. Food fantastic. Service was great. Not expensive and great portions. Have to say the sausage gravy was by far the best I have ever had in a restaurant. I am a foodie and very particular.

One of my favorites is the Hernando omelet. Oh, my gosh, so good. Also, the catfish is delicious. But no matter what you get, you can't go wrong. Love. The food atmosphere is very homey. All of the staff are awesome!

Such a unique restaurant. Food made from scratch fresh bread and cinnamon rolls. Food was great! Came out fairly quickly! Price was fair as well. It is a cash only restaurant FYI but very respectable. Menu selection is really good variety. Also another building has craft drinks. Staff are friendly and on top of it. If your in the area definitely worth a stop!

Had did the cowboy classic potatoes were undercooked and rubbery corned beef with salty and had no flavor had a side order of sausage gravy very little sausage flavor disappointed three people $60 for breakfast not including tip won't be back

Food and service were fantastic. We started breakfast with a cinnamon roll. That was extremely good but rich. We split that. I got the Florida Cracker and my wife got the French toast. Both were very good. Atmosphere is great. Cute little dining area. Get there early as it is small and gets very busy. It’s pretty neat as the change you get is in two dollar bills.
