So far my favorite place in Pensacola to eat with a group. Tapas is a great option when eating with others or for a nice date. Service was great and the wine selection was paired well. Unique dishes that were all top notch.

Wonderful place, took my family there and we had a fine meal. It is kid friendly, but expensive. No chicken fingers.

Food and service that make it a well deserved #2 restaurant in TripAdvisor. Ger two tapas per person to share (wife and I combined for 5 small plates). Reservations recommended or get there early especially on weekends.

This is always a top choice for a fine dining experience in Pensacola. Consistently amazing food and service every time. Recently had Tony as our waiter and he did a phenomenal job while also keeping our party entertained. Can’t give high enough praise to owners and staff for maintaining such a high bar for restaurant standards over the years. Shoutout to CJ and Eric for their help for previous visits. If you haven’t gone, go soon and if you have, it’s a good time to return!

I wanted to share some feedback about our recent visit to your establishment. We had high hopes based on our friends' recommendations, but our experience didn't quite meet our expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted with “last call” instead of a friendly welcome, which set a disappointing tone. We sat at the bar for about 10 minutes without anyone attending to us, and it was tough to get a menu. While one of the bartenders, Josh, was genuinely nice and tried to help, the other seemed more focused on chatting with friends than serving customers. I ordered a tequila drink based on the bartender's recommendation, but it was overwhelmingly strong and lacked any depth of flavor. It felt more like a shot than a cocktail. Overall, we were really hoping to enjoy our time there, but we didn’t feel welcomed, and it didn’t align with what we were looking for. We're not sure if we’d give it another shot in the future. Amazing food! Best filet mignon & creme brulee! Great place for date nights or birthday dinners with friends!

The wait staff is on point. My steak, a fillet, was a little burnt on one side but was delicious when I got past it. It's a little loud. Overall, I'm excited to go back again for my birthday.

Our first time here, and it was amazing! We ate at the bar, and Bo (Beau) was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I had calamari, and it was cooked perfectly. Not chewy or tough at all. Try the lamb lollipops! Best lamb chops I have ever eaten. We just had an all-around great evening. A tad pricey but so worth it for an amazing evening

BBQ shrimp, lamb lollipops, baby lobster tails, and anything made with the owners handmade Worcestershire sauce - go get!! U wont regret!

Everything we had was good. BBQ shrimp were very good. Learn how to cook a steak! Ordered medium, came well done. If you do screw up, have common curiosity to comp a drink while rest of party eats. Reviews for this place are higher then my dining experience merited!

Six members of my family ate a fabulous dinner at the Global Grill on Thursday evening of this week. Every single member of the family thoroughly enjoyed each of their choices. Plus appetizers - the Tapos! Oh my goodness delicious. Then came the best coffee and magnificent desserts. I think we were the last group to leave we we enjoying ourselves so much. I think I may come back all by myself to try just the desserts - every one of them. And our waitress was great and went above and beyond with service. Thank you so much.

Global Grill was an absolute experience. Great wine selections, amazing appetizers and awesome service. I definitely recommend the lobster wantons, tempura friend asparagus and the steaks. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and had years of experience working at the restaurant. He was able to help with our selections and made great pairings. Will be back soon!

The absolute best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The thought and care put into every dish on the menu is so obvious. Everything is so complex and flavorful - and the staff is amazing! To have employees that are so excited to explain the food to guests says a lot about the owner/chef! Tony was awesome and I will absolutely be back ASAP! Quite a mismurchifying experience 🩷

We walked in didn't have a reservation but the hostess was able to accommodate us kind of quickly I was surprised because it was a good bit busy I didn't mind waiting longer as she was so busy but we got in the tapas were great and the main plate was even more amazing and tasty I think they were under staffed but the waiter was on it the best he could and had great conversation five stars hands down will definitely visit again was not disappointed someone I know waited 3 weeks for a reservation I just walked in very happy with the experience.

It brings me great shame to not support this long-standing stalwart, fine-dining restaurant in my home town. But after trying amazing food in bigger cities, and even just-as-amazing food in Pensacola, the Global Grill has got to be better. Everything about the ambiance and the service was perfect, actually. A beautiful dining room with a classy-looking bar and giant windows looking out at the hustle and bustle of Palafox Street, particularly beautiful when it's all dressed up for the holidays. And the server was on point. Our glasses were never empty, and he was quick to make realistic and good recommendations on what we should order. No issues here. Now for the food. We looked at the entrees they offered, and decided to order just a bunch of their hot tapas, two off their regular menu, and two specials they were having that night. Lamb Lollipops (Israeli Couscous & Sun Dried Tomato Jus). The flavor here was very good, but the cuts of the lamb were everywhere, very irregular. And the sides of the chops were seared to an overcooked degree, hiding the beautiful medium rare they are probably supposed to be. Pork Tenderloin Medallions (Espresso & Chili-Rubbed, Chorizo Gravy, Apple Chutney). Again, very good flavor. Love the espresso/chorizo combo. But many, these poor little medallions were killed and turned basically into pork jerky. Super sad. Another one we had was a scallop special they were running, with a cream sauce and some noodles. The chef must have been frustrated with how many things he was killing, so these scallops were actually undercooked. I've never seen that in all my days. Now actually, the crispy fried red snapper special we got was really good. It was served with some sorts of rice and creamed spinach. And it was super delicious. Actually cooked very well, and I loved the spinach/rice combo. It felt very homemade, but still elevated. Then it was time for dessert! Gooey Centered Spanish Chocolate Cake (Housemade Basil Ice Cream, Pecans). I loved the sweetness of the cake and how it played well with the basil ice cream. I know the cake was supposed to have a gooey center, but dang, could it at least look like a cake and not a smattering of racoon dung? Anyway, as hard as this review was to write, I had to tell the truth. Global Grill was one of the pioneers of fine dining in Pensacola, but the lack of attention to details in the kitchen has certainly lost them a customer here, Especially with two amazing amazing restaurants less than three blocks from them. So sorry, Global Grill. Rest in peace, my old friend.

My favorite place to dine in Pensacola!! I love everything here. The tempura asparagus are a must have, the crab cakes, the shrimp eggrolls, any time they have a beef special tapa I order it. I’ve never been disappointed. Their bbq shrimp is delicious and their gooey Spanish chocolate cake with basil ice cream is not to be missed. Service is also impeccable. It gets a little loud inside, but I’ll deal with it, it’s that good!

Ooohs and aaaahs across the board from me and my dinner party. First time there, but definitely won't be the last. This may sound really strange but the asparagus was fantastic and the grits that came along with the blackened mahi mahi were some of the best grits I've ever had in life. Creamy, yet light. Good enough to bathe in.

Been going here for years, and it's honestly in my top 3 for restaurants in Pensacola. Those lamb lollipops, tuna cubes, or their filet is always my go to. They also do a pork chop and it's delicious.

Fun place to eat. Lots of fish on the menu. Servers are great. Portions are big. They call their appetizers tapas. They are not tapa size if you have ever had true tapas.

Our Favorite Restaurant! We spent our anniversary in Pensacola FL just to eat at the Global Grill for such a special dinner! Excellent!

After months of recommendations, we finally went for our first time tonight. The space is smallish and feels a bit crowded in areas. Of course, we were in the narrow seating area at the front of the restaurant. The view for the person facing the sidewalk can be nice with the lights along the street, but for the person facing the hostess, not so much. She was on her phone quite a bit. We enjoyed the Southwestern Shrimp Eggroll. My husband got the Triple Threat Seafood platter(?) which he really liked, but felt was pricey for a grouper filet layered with crabmeat and a soft shell crab. I got the filet cooked medium well. It came charred on the outside, which I like but others may not. Although the steak tasted good, it was not tender as I’ve come to expect of a filet. The sauce was very salty and the broccoli stalks were more raw than al dente. We had planned to have carrot cake for dessert, but after waiting 15 minutes for our waiter to come back, we decided to pass. Clearly not a glowing recommendation, but both the restaurant and bar were full and it seemed everybody knew everybody else.

In Navarre for 7 weeks. Dined here 1/31/24 & 2/27/24. Worth every mile & dollar! One of finest—comparable to the famous multi-sited Capital Grille! FROM the first call to Courtney, who made everything perfect for us and our friend who flew in, by rearranging our reservation on a short notice TO the excellent server, Paige, the dining experience was superb. So, we repeated the experience with Courtney & Paige, and again a “5.” We recommended to 4 friends who went and were ready to return the next day. It’s a long time until January 2025, but we will be at the Global Grill then.

Every year, my son wants to go here for his birthday dinner. I think this year will be our 4th year. It used to be the Melting Pot, but he loves the Global Grill's food so much, our tradition has changed.

Tonight marks over 25 years of our Pensacola Symphony and Global Dinners, always a new and wonderful dining experience. Service beyond 5 stars and cuisine to match. The Chef keeps all things new and all things traditional as good as the first time we ordered. Thank you Global.

I had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was so beautiful and the service and food were top-notch! Eric, our server was very informative and was able to give us suggestions on the food and drinks. He made us feel welcomed, which made my birthday even more special!

Global Grill is my favorite “fancy” place in town. My girlfriend and I recently went for our anniversary and it was such a good experience. When we wanted to move from the room where the large parties were (it was very noisy) they happily moved us somewhere closer to the bar. The tapas are the best part, I’d even recommend just getting the tapas, as I think they’re more worth it than the entrees. The tuna cubes are probably the best raw tuna I’ve had in Pensacola. The yellowfin tuna is so so good (especially with that sweet potato hay) and the tempura fried asparagus is to die for.

Global grill has to be the best restaurant in the panhandle (imo).You can definitely tell this is a chef owned restaurant. As someone who has worked BOH in many kitchens over the last 8 years, it is evident in every bite that the cooks/chefs in the global grill kitchen are extremely talented and care about quality. Everything we ate was so delicious and beautifully plated. This is my new favorite place to eat, I’m sad that I’m just now trying this restaurant for the first time. Mark/Marc delivered spectacular and attentive service as well. There’s not a single bad thing on the menu. The drinks are stellar too, the roman mule is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had!! Well worth every penny.

10 out of 10! The service and atmosphere were amazing but the food stole the show. We had the lamb lollipops, Tempura Asparagus, and the Gooey Spanish chocolate cake with basil ice cream. Absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back soon.

Descent place. Don’t order mix drinks, bartender of “20 years” couldn’t handle them. Stick with their good wine selection, hard to mess that up.

This was our first time here and we loved it! The food was amazing and our server, Mark, was wonderful. It was a little pricey but appropriate for a once in a while special occasion.

Terrible experiance,sat and waited 10 minutes for a glass of water,waited another 5 minutes and still no service,I've had a few people say the food is good but service is lacking,don't waste your time,we left and went to George's bistro and had a great experience,.

This was our 1st time here! I have always walked by this place a million times, but never tried it assuming I would not like it. We had made reservations and was seated right away. There wasn't much options for vegetarians, but thankful that my friend was willing to be a vegetarian as well, so we tried different plates. Our favorite was the olives and cheese plate! The Brussel sprouts was not exactly what we expected. Our waiter was nice enough to take it off....if you like crispy sprouts then don't order this. Dessert was my favorite. Never would I have thought basil ice cream and chocolate cake would be good together. Make sure to make reservations because the place stays busy. If you are a vegetarian and super hungry, you might want to try a different place. I would highly recommend this place if you want something different, a great environment, something romantic and bougie....

Atmosphere was great. Tapas were really good but when it came to the wagyu, tell your chef to chill. Way too much peppercorn which ruined the flavor.

Let's start with the lamb lollipops, get them, you will never be disappointed. They have a home made worcestershire for their steak, which doesn't need it, but it's just delicious. The fried asparagus with whatever sauce they put on it was drinkable. If you're in Pensacola go here

Wow this place did not disappoint! Our best meal this trip. It was recommended by everyone we asked. Bob was a fabulous server. Epic from start to finish. We are from Las Vegas and all in the service industry. All of us can be quite critical but this was the best. It will be 1st on our list when we return!

Locals know a good restaurant. We had great service and food tonight. Tony did a wonderful job managing all our requests.

Great experience for dinner at Global Grill. Service was very good and the food was excellent. Try the crispy chicken wings, fried asparagus, lobster wontons, barbecue shrimp, caprese, really hard to go wrong!

This was our first time dining here. Met with a few friends before attending a local concert. George, our server, was quite attentive as he eloquently conveyed the specials. All of which sounded fabulous. Another server came behind him, making sure all of our drink glasses stayed full, and cleared things away as we emptied our plates. I chose the Lobster Cheesecake 🦞 😋 Delicious!! Mom had their Chili Relleno. She owned 3 Mexican restaurants in California. She said the flavor was spot on! Hubby had New Orleans BBQ 🍤. They were HUGE, tender, and juicy. Cooked to perfection. Mom and I also had their specialty drink... "Community Business District" Cocktail Highly recommend!! The ambiance was elegant, warm, and welcoming. Clean, We're definitely coming back. Everyone (owner Jane and manager Steven) we spoke to was friendly and made us all feel right at home. Almost forgot! We also had Creme Brule`e.

We had a reservation for eight at 7:30. We arrived at 7:25, they walked us straight to our table. I had cobia and it was phenomenal! Great food. Great service.

My all time favorite place to eat. My husband and I go here a couple times a month and it is always amazing service and the best food. I love how none of the plates match. We always order anything they serve with their grits….there amazing. We also love their filet and carrot cake with pumpkin ice cream. I love a good martini and theirs are the best. I always order the Katrini, with basil and grapefruit. Ask for CJ he is our favorite!!

Amazing night celebrating family! Our favorites were the lobster wonton, scallop special, tempura fried asparagus, cheese and meat board, stuffed artichokes, Mediterranean red snapper, and Creole Shrimp BBQ! Dessert favorites were the Baileys White Chocolate creme Brule and special chocolate lava cake with basil ice cream! This is one place you do not want to miss!!!!!

I have gone to Global Grill a few times and have enjoyed each one of my visits! The service has been great, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is amazingly delicious! It’s definitely a must try if you’ve never been… you won’t be disappointed!

Anyone visiting pcola should check out GlobalGrill if you want great food and great service! This place is absolutely amazing! We had the crab wonton, the fried asparagus, the new York strip and the ribeye. The service was awesome! We will definitely be back!

Great place, fun atmosphere, food and service on point. Only suggestion is to install noise buffer ceiling or acoustic canceling noise. When it got busy you could not clearly hear others at the table due to background chatter.

We had an excellent time and experience which is what we've come to expect at this place. It is a fancy atmosphere and service and every food item we've tried has been great. A little bit of a wait to get in usually on the weekends but always worth it.

I was not going to review but I have FOOD POISONING from the pork special. The mushrooms were bitter and rancid tasting. I let the waiter know and he said they poured a liquorish on the mushrooms that did not cook property. He brought me a cup of new mushrooms about 20 min later when my meal was cold. I didn’t eat the rest of the meal because all of it was covered in the old mushrooms and tasted rancid. The risotto was salty and the pork was hard. Charged us $44 for the plate.

Ok the food is good, but what else? What I love about that place is the atmosphere. Waiters and bar tenders are happy to work there. And you feel it during your experience at GlobalGrill. Not only you’re in for a fine dinner, but the whole thing inspires happiness and kindness. Enjoy the food, and enjoy your time at this place.

Global Grill has been my favorite restaurant for the last twenty three years since moving back to Pensacola. Consistently good food with flair that tastes magnificent. Took friends from South Carolina tonight and we had such an enjoyable time. Everyone raved about their meals, the potato crusted snapper, the Mediterranean snapper topped with crab and even the pork chops. Our salads were fabulous and tapas so delicious from the scallops with yummy goat cheese to the oysters and different salads. We ended with coffee, carrot cake and Creme Brulé. Nothing comes close to this unforgettable food! Our waitress said the chef makes her job easy! Thank you Chef and all of The Global Grill Staff. We will be back very soon!

The food was marvelous. They had a fried oyster small plate special that was some of thr best fried oysters I've eaten. Our waiter, CJ, was knowledgeable, friendly, and took care of us without being intrusive. Just a wonderful experience all around. This has become a new favorite restaurant.

Love this place. We went in March and made a special trip from FWB just to eat there again last week.

Tapas were excellent and so was the wine.

Food is pretty good but rich. Acoustics are a little loud. Lots of wines to choose from.

The food is average the staff and service poor they acted like they didn't really wanna be there and treated us as such.

So freaking good! Drove from Miramar Beach and it was hands down one of the best meals I have had in a long long time in this area! I do not know why but you can't get great food like this anywhere in Destin, Miramar beach, or 30A! Eric or waiter was awesome! We had 2 mocktails, 2 different salads, scallop tapas, pesto seared tuna entree and the bleu cheese stuffed filet....$160.....Wish I worked here 😂

Best Food in Pensacola Hands Down. My husband gave me a dinner to this place as a Christmas present and the food was absolutely amazing. The environment is a little loud at times which can contribute to a chaotic feeling but that is the feeling of most of downtown so that isn't a surprise (it just is what it is). Went for the food and absolutely wasn't disappointed. Staff was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. I would absolutely pay the money for this place again.

Got to say best place to eat in pensacola. Staff is attentive and anticipate guest needs. food is well prepared and presentation is excellent. Watch for the up-charge on large cubes for bourbon, 1$. Are you kidding me? With the amount of money we spent for an exceptional dinner, this is insulting and trivial. Silly charges like this makes this a reason to not come back.

If you're in Pensacola this restaurant is a must. The food is absolutely wonderful. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Parking is the only drawback. Do NOT park in the lot behind the restaurant or you will get a $100 fine. Also make sure to put in a reservation a few days ahead or they will book up. Do not miss out on this place.
