Delicious! Perfect diner atmosphere and food! The breakfast burrito and homefries were delicious!!! Will definitely return.

This has been my go to breakfast place for many many years!! So many choices and always friendly service.. I do love a good breakfast place ...lol

We had breakfast, and the omelet was so thick and dry, with no flavor. Potatoes were the same. They were nice about it and only charged me $1.00 plus my OJ.

I’m in Englewood because my pap is passing away. He always came here so my dad and I came to have breakfast at one of his favorite places. While here the service was atrocious even for during a rush. Complaints from staff of the normal “no one wants to work” only to immediately after a group of regulars left (staff advised they come EVERY MORNING) proceed to complain and insult the party of 7 people loudly and in a manner I would only save for my enemies including name calling. I said something to them as we were leaving only to be met with excuses about how they complain every day about OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS. I reminded them that even though the complained those complainers still CHOOSE to come to this place. More excuses for their bad behavior before we left never to return. My pap would be so disappointed if he knew how people were talked about after he spent his time and money there so many times. Great food but horrible attitude and staff.

Seldom do I write a review unless the restaurant was outstanding. I will make an exception in this case. My wife wanted to leave as soon as we entered and noticed the odor. I wanted to at least give them a chance. Poor decision on my part. The food was just OK and the server acted as though we were an imposition on her free time. Both the dining area and the men’s restroom needed a good cleaning. I would not recommend this place.

The food was fresh the coffee was perfect! Great service! The breakfast specials are wonderful!

We went for Breakfast and wished we liked it better. No complaints at all about the service, which was excellent. The coffee tasted like hot water, no flavor. I had huevos rancheros which was ok. Hub's had typical eggs, home fries, bacon. Nothing special, not a lot of flavor to the home fries. Clean enough, but won't return.

My husband and I literally just left there without eating. The food was awful. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were not only not poached they were cooked completely through. My husbands food was ice cold. Yes, we mentioned it to the server who only said she would let the cook know about it. Thanks. We drove here to Englewood from Harbor Heights for this garbage. The party of 20 to our right that ordered after us was clearly more important. When we went to go pay we were asked again how the food was. I said it was horrible. The girl who apparently was also a supervisor asked me if I told the server...ummm..YEAH. She then continued to press some buttons on the register not acknowledging anything at all about the situation, it was only when I mentioned that not only did the food suck that Ive never seen a restaurant so unwilling to do anything about it. After I left she told my husband to let me know she was taking care of it. I highly doubt that. It took my getting angry for her to do anything.This is unacceptable. From start to finish this is hands down the worst experience I have ever had a restaurant and I used to work in one. Our seever should have addressed the issue at the table when she was told about it. If you can't handle big parties then you shouldn't take them because I'm pretty sure our experience was impacted by a group of 20 people that we had nothing to do with. You couldn't pay me to come back there and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to waste their time when Denny's is right across the street.

Their eggs were hard as rock so to speak for scrambled eggs is more like an omelette no taste. The toast was OK.

Terrible. We sat down and were not notified of cash only. Ordered. I had to answer my own questions when asking the waitress. Do you have hash browns? I received a puzzled look to only tell me potatoes? I said yes? Home fries? She said yes. We received our several plates of food quite quickly. The home fries had several chunks of diced ham and eggs in them, and considering I do not care for either was not ideal let alone they tasted like nothing but oil. The eggs that were served to another person in my party were overcooked and chewy. The toast was dry. Needless to say there was a full meal left on the table untouched that the waitress didn’t seem to be bothered by. Furthermore the grown man sitting behind me decided it was time to rock back and forth in his seat so the entire time I was attempting to eat, felt identical to sitting on a plane with a child kicking the back of your seat the entire time. We went to pay and that is when we were told cash only. I had to walk to the bank atm across the parking lot. We didn’t complain about the disgusting food. We didn’t complain about the bumpy seating. We didn’t complain about the cash only. I returned with the cash and the waitress walked right by the checkout as I waited another 5 minutes to pay. I was then asked how everything was and said “meh not so good” to which I was told that’s good thank you for coming. They had no desire to hear a complaint so I’m leaving this review instead. I wouldn’t recommend this place and I, as well as the ones I was with, will never return.

Service in this place better than the food Gravey tasted spoiled they where out of a lot of things normal things like bread and waffles on a Sunday morning I was told TWICE to pay up front as if to say GET OUT I WILL NOT RETURN

Asked for medium burger was cooked well done and dry. Had a teaspoon of shredded cheese for $1.50 extra. It was ok.

Did not receive what we ordered, very greasy, filthy environment. My plate head old dried up food on the edge, my water glass and lipstick on it, I definitely cannot recommend this place to anyone...

Reubens and chicken soup. Reubens was goid. Soup was fantastic! Waitresses are laid back and 😁fun.

Ordered chicken Marsala , came with bread stick a terrible taste or flavor , it was a huge helping of mushrooms with “hunks” of “plain chicken on a huge bed of spaghette with a brown rich plain dark gravy . Not good! Ask for refund would have exchanged the huge leftover plate for another dish but … a refund would have been most appropriate . I can’t say enough don’t order this unless you like rich gross Spaghetti They offered another table of customers a refund who disliked the chicken Parmesan with “goat cheese” but they a woman said “no, definitely not!) Good by Good Times but your breakfasts are A+. Maybe you should stick to eggs!

Stopped in for dinner, staff were friendly and checked on customers often. Husband and I ordered small stromboli to split but center of it was uncooked. The part of outside layer we tasted was crispy and had a nice flavor. We opted to return it to kitchen. Offered new one or dessert. Opted to try dessert instead. Choose cannolis which had crispy shells and plenty of filling. Maybe we will try breakfast next time

We both had a late breakfast. I had the Huevos Rancheros. We both cleaned our plates. Therefore, tasty.

I appreciate the folks at Good Times for their friendly demeanor and delicious breakfast and lunch offerings Definitely a five star experience!

This is a great place to go w/family & friends. There is a putt-putt course, a driving range, outside bar/grill, inside arcade, restaurant/bar & ice cream parlor. Lots of fun!

The food seemed to be put together in a microwave. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and got a undercooked fried chicken instead. My 5 year old child ordered chicken tenders and even he said they were too hard. - A Day Later, Me and my mom got food poisoning, turns out the chimichanga neat was extremely old. Do not reccomend if you want to eat mexican food. It doesnt even look real. It is a disgrace and disgusting

DIRTY! Food is subpar, atmosphere is bland, dated, dark, dreary, not very clean … wife’s food had ants all over dish; besides, food is just not good. Sorry to say this about your livelihood, but I would NEVER go back. Two times is more than enough.

Got the fried chicken wrap special that came with a cup of cabbage rice soup. Both were delicious and excellent value for the money. Great diner experience with friendly waitress and old school feel.

Just what we were looking for and had a beautiful time. These places are rare gems, unfortunately so many people these days don't appreciate anything other than the big fast food chain restaurants, or they expect a small place like this to provide "high class" and complin... but it's perfect 🥰 💞

Honestly giving them 1 star is very generous. Animal feces in the bathroom. The service was so bad to the point that I’ve never had an experience like it. The server actually used profanity towards us as we attempted to speak with the gentleman that claimed to be in charge. I can’t say that he was any better, he was horrible as well. Very disappointing experience overall. I would avoid this place at all costs. Food was cold, service was horrible and the men’s room was absolutely disgusting.

This diner is AWESOME! I LOVE Diane, she knows me everytime I come in! I am from Indiana and get down here in Nov & Feb! She is an GREAT waitress!

We have the personal pizza with loads of vegetables and their Greek salad. We are always well fed and still have $ afterward. Nice servers and plenty of sports to watch on the TVs.

And a another waitress that goes by the Name Flo. Also from Pa. Both are outstanding in my opinion My 49 year daughter to refuses to go anymore do the her food arrived after the other 2 people in her party were finished there Hot lunch and the Waitress who Big Girl and wasn’t very pleasant. My daughter inquired where her meal was and the unpleasant waitress said someone else took it. Ordered another meal and when my daughter finally got her Hot lunch her 2 friends were done. Check arrived and only 2 meals on bill thinking the late meal was a Comp. At the register the the older Mexican lady said there 3 meal st that table. So we payed the price and not going back. No Vegetables, Just Salad 🥗

Waited too long to get seated then ignored while 3 or 4 parties who came in after me were served beverages. I love eating here but I won't be back if your service has slipped to this new low. And I will add the men's bathroom is disgusting.

We come here because they have some of the best omelettes around. They are reasonably priced, and friendly as well.

First time here, and it was pretty good. Hubby had the Irish benedict, and he cleaned the plate! My eggs were good, and the pancakes were delicious. Service was ok. She never came back to check on us and just dropped the bill on the table at the end of our meal. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Who knows. Decent place. Needs some updating in the dining room. Booths are torn up.

Definitely an excellent diner. Food and service are top notch. Will be going again.

Very good breakfast, reasonably priced

Spinach pie and Greek salad was excellent. It tasted like it was homemade.

The food was absolutely disgusting. My 6 year old tried his kids burger and refused to eat it. I ordered a steak quesadilla to share with my partner and all of it was left behind. Ery bite was pure fat in my mouth. I attempted it 3 times then decided to stop eating it as well. I do not understand how this food and this meat is served to people. I would not feed my dog with this quality of meat. After this lovely experience I had to track down our server for the check, as she seemed to forget we existed. To make the experience more special, I returned to get my son's juice off the table, and ran into the same waitress and a bus girl, who quite unprofessionally were poking fun, saying that the least I could have done was take my food with me, after paying for it. I am appalled by this experience. I paid for the food and will never return to this place. I will never recommend anyone to go there as long as they are in business. Highly unprofessional.

We went here for lunch after a baseball game, I got the grilled cheese sandwich,it comes with frys…fry’s we’re very under seasoned. I asked for no pickles on my plate, because I don’t like pickles and they remembered! Overall good meal, good price. The waitress was so kind, and quick! The only thing i have to complain about was that it’s not really a younger person’s diner, lots of older people!

Overall this restaurant was amazing! The food was incredible and our server Christina was probably one of the best waiters we have ever had. We all ordered off the Italian menu for dinner and it was the most authentic Italian we have ever had. 10/10 totally recommend!!!

Good food but VERY rude people who answer phone for takeout.. They leave phone and walk away and carry on with their private conversations. They definitely don't appreciate takeout and don't want to be bothered. If I were the owner, I would be furious! This place is off our list; has happened too many times. So sad staff has to be this way. Would not recommend.

**Update 2023 bbq no longer available Great BBQ meal. Been here several times for breakfast, first time for dinner. The pulled chicken and pulled pork were delicious. Loved the spicy coleslaw as side and spouse enjoyed baked beans, wasn't traditional canned variety.

I am from the New York New Jersey area, and by far this is the closest pizza to the New Jersey New York area that I found anywhere in the south west Florida area. Excellent pizza I can’t believe I ordered pizza in a diner but I’m glad I did and anybody who doesn’t like it probably doesn’t know much about pizza, if I could give it six stars, I would great job guys

Looking for Mexican food in Englewood I stumbled on to this restaurant. We dropped by to check out the menu to eat there in the evening, turns out they were no longer serving the mexican dinners for dinner. The menu for dinner was small and Italian and nothing like the one on the website. They said although it said Mexican dinner that menu was only for lunch and breakfast. That was not clear from the website. Sad as their former dinner menu was very appealing. And for us the new one wasn't. Furthermore I wouldn't go to a Mexican restaurant for Italian food as there are many Italian owned restaurants for that around here, just saying.

Happened upon Good Times because another diner we planned to eat at closed early. It was our Good Fortune, because this quaint restaurant is wonderful. It is clean with friendly, efficient wait staff and the food was delicious. They didn't blink an eye with my special dietary order (vegetarian), husband ordered baked zita. I would say the meals were prepared by a chef rather than a cook. Can't wait to go back.

Good diner service was great. Had breakfast special with coffee. Food was hot and fresh filled me up enough. Came with coffee for a $1. Out the door with tip for about 10$. In and out 15min on a Monday morning. Definitely beats McDonald's in my opinion. Will be coming back. Thanks

When you're a visitor in town after Sunday Mass..this is the place to each a scrumptious breakfast. Everyone was friendly...they be even surprised us when some kind patron bought our breakfast!!!

Stop By Good Times As They Have A New Menu At Nighttime !! Starting From 2pm - 8pm Monday Through Saturday Every Week. The Italian Cuisine Portions Are Very Generous And The Pizza Is Amazing Definitely Worth The Money !!

Decently priced. Portions weren't big. The food was ok. It all just needed salt and pepper. Disappointed in the (canned) ham. Service was ok. Not exactly friendly nor seeming to want to be there. Table and menus sticky/greasy. Clean bathroom. May or may not be back.

The lobster ravioli were to die for. Could not possibly finish. My husband the Philly cheese and loved it too. Were there for breakfast too!

We went for dinner, expecting traditional diner fare and were pleasantly surprised to find a limited Italian dinner menu. The food was delicious, with an authentic Italian flavor and presentation. Jamie, our server, was very friendly and attentive, even with being the only server for the restaurant.

I ordered a hamburger with lettuce and tomato only. Got a cheeseburger with nothing. I heard the server repeat the order in the kit hen. Still got it wrong. It was mid afternoon and very guiet.

Place was recommended. But very disappointed. Supreme Pizza had some un identified. Meat on it (maybe lamb- yuck), the garlic bread was sooo much garlic, no of us could eat. Antipasto salad was sad. The meat & cheese was rolled up, not even cut. How do you split that up? $50. Not worth it. Will not be back

Great hidden diner in Englewood Publix Bealls Shopping center. Great staff and service. Affordable prices and deals. Love their French toast. Dennys across the street skip big guys and come here to Good Times Diner. Diner hours 6-2. At night flips over to a BBQ joint. Not many diners in area but this is the BEST !!!

First time coming in. And boy I gotta tell ya what a menu they have. Lots of choices , prices are very reasonable. And the portions you get is amazing. Service was very good and the food was excellent. We just moved here and plan to make this a regular place to go to. 😊. UPDATE ::::::: I give it a one NOW. They changed the menu from 2pm and beyond to nothing BUT Italian Food. What a disappointment !!!!!! We was in for dinner and was getting a burrito. Nope not anymore if it's after 2pm. Unfortunately we will NOT ever be back in after 2pm. And the pizza we had was overwhelming with a spice and did not enjoy it at all. You should ask if u want garlic or parsley etc on top of your pizza. We left very unsatisfied.

We eat here often for breakfast. There is variety on the menu, and you cannot really go wrong here. There are great choices on the Mexican Breakfast part of the menu, but the rest is good American-style options like eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, waffles, etc. They will work with you when you want to customize orders, and there is room for groups and smaller tables too. If it is busy, it is worth the wait!

This place like most diners in the area is just kinda meh. The food is unseasoned because of the large amount of old folks, a common issue in the area. My friend did get very ill after eating here but it may not have been related so I'm keeping food a very lazy 3.

Bacon mushroom omelette was more like half scrambled egg sort of almost folded over. I really wanted to back to the kitchen and show how it’s done. Retired culinary chef. Waffles large, good and fluffy which got the 3 stars

I have eaten breakfast here many times and have always been pleased, but not today. We ordered Eggs Benedict and Irish Benedict and it all would have been fine EXCEPT the Hollandaise sauce was NOT good. It was the consistency of gravy and a deep gold color! I have eaten Hollandaise sauce all over the country and never had anything similar to this. I even asked our waitress if this was the normal sauce and she confirmed that it was. I will continue to go there but will NEVER order Hollandaise sauce again.

The food was excellent but I think the waitress has been too much time talking to their friends while we wait for their help not all of them when was asking us what we needed when she walked past the table but she didn't stop otherwise I would recommend this place to everyone who likes a good meal

The service was acceptable, but check-out was a line out the door and I consider the check-paying experience part of my "service experience." Something about being short-handed. I did not understand because it appeared that there was only one credit card reader, which limits the bill processing to one person at a time. Maybe consider adding a tablet with credit card reading capabilities or a second dedicated card reader to be operated by another employee. When checkout starts to back up like that have a waitress (or someone) open a line for cash payment only. Management should have a contingency plan for such events ... in today's labor market, being short-handed is becoming pretty must standard operating procedure & should be expected.
