Love everything about this place. Excellent food and service.

Great service with Caitlyn - so prompt, courteous, cheerful, & knowledgeable. My shrimp & grits was great - the pork belly & andouille sausage really jazzed up the dish. I thought my husband’s fish & chip’s could have used a bit fresher fish, but it came hot & tasty. I’d come back if I’m in the area!

We came in this past Sunday night. We were a party of 10. We did not have a reservation. The hostess and the wait staff could not have been more pleasant. They accommodated our seating arrangements. The service was top-notch. Our waitress was very patient, and very efficient. The food was excellent from the appetizers to the entrées. We do not live in the area but every time we visit we will be back.

I stopped here randomly on my motorbike as I was returning home. Home was still 250 miles away. I ordered the Black and Blue and was not disappointed. I sat at the bar the bartenders were very friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. I love the wooden canoes they have hanging here. If I'm ever back that way I may just stop in again 😁

The service, atmosphere and overall cleanliness of the restaurant is good. Wish i could say the same about the food. The burger i had ordered, im not sure what, but something doesnt sit right with me on the meat. Maybe its an acquired taste since my parents liked it. Fries were magnificent however. I'll probably order the same thing again and see if its better then now.

Grouper Picatta for lunch was perfect.

Had the fruit and nut salad with chicken the dressing was decent. Also the quarter pounder burger was well cooked but nothing special. The fruit stand drink was amazing. And the grits were delicious. Our was super nice!

My husband recommended this place to take me for my birthday. I must say everything was nice the food was delicious. Don was our waiter..excellent customer service. I definitely will be returning

Great place, Food was great, great price at the bar. Husband and myself went here, we are from Tampa but up here for a business trip and heard about this place, it was worth the stop, the bartender wasn’t the friendliest, seemed to hate her job and didn’t care about wasting company money by letting beer tap run as she did other stuff. We definitely will give this place another try next time we are in town.

Our food and service was divine! The quality of the steaks was superb, drinks were fantastic, our server Christy was outstanding and kudos to the chef for perfection. Highly recommend stopping in. Unfortunately there are no photos of our food because we were too enamored with the whole experience.

We all had burgers and they were presented beautifully. They could have used more seasoning on all three but otherwise they were great. Our waitress was precious and so attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed a fun band while we ate. We would definitely try this place again!!!!

I really wanted to like this place more because it was such a vibe. We ordered the gator bites which were mediocre, two specialty burgers which were under seasoned though hardy and on tasty bread, regular fries which were average and sweet potato fries which were also under seasoned but to ruin the food portion of this meal we ordered the bread pudding which was berry flavored this evening. What a disappointment. A cheap red syrup was squirted over the top, cheap tasteless blueberries which were mixed in and a terrible artificial tasting whipped cream dressed the plate. Still it could have been redeemed by a good bread pudding recipe but this was not it. Finally we order 3 drinks, 1 was very good, two were disappointing. The old fashioned was more of a watered down weak bourbon spritzer and the “double” Woodford neat for $14 was really a single for $14. The owner was very welcoming and pleasant, the staff was kind at every turn and the live music was great. We did not complain about a thing but I don’t know if we’ll give it a second shot. The menu has so many good items but I feel like I wasted a lot of $ tonight. My husband is going to try and finish the bread pudding just because.

Everything was so amazing! I came to dine by myself, I got the fried tomatoes and the flat bread and they were both incredible. Service was 10/10 and everyone was so friendly. Definitely recommend this spot

Great place to have a meal after a day kayaking on the Santa Fe River

After a day of floating the river this place really hit the spot. Relaxing, nice atmosphere, service and food were top notch. They have a full bar and fun menu items. Would definitely recommend

A very cozy place with outdoor patio, live music, great food

Wait staff is great, atmosphere is fantastic. We went in the beginning if the year after visiting Itchetucknee springs, had to go again for a friend's birthday and they were so accommodating to my party of 8, and that wyld burger is out of this world, delicious.

The whole dining experience was exceptional. We made a reservation which was honored and the waitress was phenomenal. If you are ever in High Springs I would highly recommend this restaurant

We loved the food here! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms were delicious! The clam chowder was the best I have ever had. My husband’s fish and chips was just good. Our server was very nice. The temperature was also super comfortable—it’s so nice when a restaurant doesn’t freeze you. I definitely recommend coming here!

Chicken wings were good but everything else was underwhelming. Service was quite good, helpful and efficient. Parking can be hit-or-miss. Location can be a bit loud. Pricey for the quality.

The food is mostly mediocre especially given the price. While attempting to appear as a fine steakhouse/ dining restaurant in the area, most entrées are in the mid $20-30s and appetizers and drinks about half of that. While that is reasonable for good food, the great outdoors falls short of the mark. The steaks are truly terrible. They are thin, heavily salted/ seasoned, and are of poor quality if you are looking for a fine steak. If you are OK with Dennys type cuts, you may enjoy it but will have to pay around 75% more for the same food. The pasta is typically over cooked but some dishes are ok if you don't mind again, the excessive seasoning and fatty sauces. Theyused to have a fabulous bison burger, but sadly it was never brought back after covid. The rest of the burgers are just unremarkable burger meat with your choice of toppings, but remain preferable to the bad steaks if you are looking for meat. Therefore, the only thing on the menu that I consider excellent, are the sea scallops. These are truly perfect and are worth the price. The ambiance is nice with indoor and outdoor seating and frequent live music. It's a place I really want to love, and always has great service, but the food, especially steak and pasta dishes need a complete work over. In fact, over the last couple years we've tried to give the steaks yet another chance, and have spent the last couple years very disappointed. Sadly, if you go, I must recommend avoiding them all together. Dennys is much cheaper.

Lemon drop martini and $10 burger on Tuesday

Loved this place, hard to believe it’s not the highest rated restaurant in town. I had the blue cheese steak pasta and it was fantastic! Server Don was attentive but not overly so. Comp’d me for a beer that was a little warm. Love the canoes, paddles, water themed artwork. Sooo much better than the burger joints.,

We have been here about for times and we always have a great meal here. This last trip didn't disappoint either. Great service, great food. I had their burger with blue cheese. Delicious. We split a carrot cake. It was worth it! We did arrive earlier than expected and silly "blue laws" prevented me from ordering a beer before 1:00 on Sunday. I can't hold that against them. I look forward to our next visit and I'll show up a little later.

The food was delicious.The nachos,the Ginnie burger was off the chain.Atmoshere was great,the water staff was very generous ,curtious.I recommend this restaurant.

A High Springs institution. Truly love their fried green tomatoes.

We had the conch fritters appetizers, and they were delicious. When the main course came out, although my pasta was still very warm, my husband's burger and fries were cold. Probably a poorly-managed kitchen staff. I don't think it was the server's fault. Aside from it being cold, it was a little bland, as was my pasta. The Alfredo sauce would benefit from more garlic and some salt and pepper. They did however, have a nice selection of draught beer from a variety of FL brewers. Will give them a second chance because it could've just been a bad day or new kitchen staff.

My husband & myself had dinner there tonight. Stephanie, our waitress, was wonderful. My husband had the seafood platter with an extra side of the Gouda grits. YUM!! I had the fettuccini Alfredo with grilled shrimp and gator bites as an appetizer. Timely service, wonderful margaritas and Stephanie was a pleasure.

Some dishes were awesome, while some were ok. Portion large, shareable. Chose outdoor, loved it except for the flies. Jessie was pleasant.

We were in town to kayak the Santa Fe River and found this place on maps...we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing it is that we ate dinner here two nights in a row! Sat on the patio the first night and inside the second night. Food was great!

Henry, our waiter, was AWESOME! He was attentive, knowledgeable, and fun to be around! Have been here before and each time has been a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere, AH.MA.ZING food, and reasonable prices. Southern cooking at its finest!!! Update: We just went here again tonight (06/13/24) and Miss Ashton was our waitress- she should be manager y'all! She kept our drinks full, was attentive, is awesome to talk to, and knowledgeable about all menu items! We'll definitely be back because of her!!!

Stopped in to see the live band. The service was good and the people were friendly. The band was really good.

Best place to stop on your way home from Ginnie Springs!

We stopped by for Lunch and can’t wait to go back. Great atmosphere and lovely waitress and the best grouper I’ve had anywhere. Hubby ordered a chicken sandwich and enjoyed it as well.

The server was really rude and kept getting mad at us each time we'd ask for something and I ordered the tomatoe soup it was just straight up marinara sauce.

Who knew a great little restaurant would be in tiny downtown High Springs? Michelle gave us just the kindest, warmest service. We didn't feel like we were burdening her. The steak, the ribs, the mac-n-cheese, the spinach artichoke dip, all excellent with big portions. Really nice decor befitting the area. Highly recommend!

We stopped in on Mother’s Day while on our way to a cat sanctuary called Purridise…I ordered a bacon burger and I couldn’t believe how delicious this burger was up to the very last bite and I mean that literally and I won’t go into detail as to what happened but because our waiter was on top of everything even tho he had two large groups the service was excellent. Hopefully in the near future if we come thru here again we’ll definitely stop in again. Also the atmosphere and music was very nice. 👍👍

We love stopping for a late lunch after a good kayak run. Great burgers, fish and chips, oh yeah. Gluten free buns if you must.

I've been here a few times and the food is always good and staff have been very helpful. Being from south florida and traveling up north to visit several springs in the area, I usually try and make a visit to the restaurant. This time it was for an anniversary trip with my wife. We had brought a bottle of wine that we had been saving from a previous trip for a few years, but forgot a bottle opener. One of the managers, Jessie, was kind enough to give us one of his own to take back to our air bnb, so we could finally open and enjoy it.

We came in for dinner last night. Ordered 3 chicken Cesar salads. The positive thing was how green the salad was. The chicken in all 3 salads where so dry. We didn’t even eat half the chicken. We never where asked how is everything so I figured it’s not important to this restaurant. So I never said anything. I did wright a note on the slip about the chicken. For the price you pay at this restaurant you would think there would be a little more pride in the food.

5 STARS ALL AROUND. Riley was our server 04/13/24. The wait was quick, Riley was so pleasant to be around. Definitely made our night just THAT much better. Gator bites- phenomenal. Shrimp and Grits 10/10, Blackened Shrimp Alfredo perfect. Our 3 year old even had a great time and she never likes anything. Haha. Thank you all!!!!

Stopped in here, first time since the pandemic. Sat on the patio and had a leisurely fun afternoon. Wife and I split a Rum Island Burger ($13) and Conch Fritters ($14) - you won’t find those everywhere, but these were delicious! 😀 And how can you go wrong with a $3 Bud Light on tap? We will be back. Only 20 miles from Gainesville, up Highway 441. Thank you, Shannon, for the good service.

This place used to be really good but unfortunately that isn't the case anymore I don't know what has happened to it but The quality of food has greatly decreased

This restaurant is lovely. The building itself is beautiful. The food was top-notch—generous servings and decently priced. The waitress was friendly and attentive through our meal. We had a cup of tomato bisque, salad, filet, salmon, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. Delicious!

I live in New York, visit LA three times a year ( for the last fifty years or so) and I have never had a better experience. In all my travels, I have very rarely had a better experience and meal. We had dinner there and sixteen hours later, we were back for lunch. The food is incredible, the staff lovely and the atmosphere fun. One of the owners ( Pedro, who manned the desk where we placed orders) remembered me by name ( nobody ever remembers me, and I have been to my NY neighborhood restaurant at least fifty times over the years). He was humble, genuinely pleased we loved his restaurant, and you had a sense that he was surprised by what he had created. Others brought over a complimentary basil lemonade and a chili sauce they had just prepared- both delicious. This restaurant will be my first ( and probably second and third) stop when I return to LA.

An overpriced place that fails to deliver. Priced sky high for the quality of what you get. Waitress was the only great thing about the visit. As a local Iits been years since I've been there and now I remember why.

Excellent service and delicious food in an historic brownstone building. The fish and chips was light and tasty and they offer remoulade sauce! Next time I will definitely request seating on the patio. Who knew that such a fabulous restaurant existed in the tiny town of High Springs?!

Enjoyed having dinner here. We had the seafood platter and High Springs Burger. Service was excellent and the place was very clean! Seemed a little pricey. Portions were a little small for the price.

Used to be the place to go! Waitress was friendly enough and attentive. The restaurant needs cleaned, the bathrooms were in disarray, and the food was very salty. We enjoyed the band outside but the table next to us had 2 large dogs that kept knocking over chairs and water bowls as we ate. Ultimately I would prefer no dogs, a cleaner environment while eating, and an atmosphere that was a little more date night appropriate.

Not on the beaten path but it is worth a detour from whatever destination you are on. The food is awesome as well as the service. The ambience is pure Florida. The grouper was excellent.

Staying in High Springs as a pass through town to explore the springs and stumbled upon this diamond of a restaurant. Got the special, which was a Cajun dish I cannot recall the name of, but it was absolutely delicious. Our server was amazing. Was so funny and attentive with my kids. Will definitely be swinging by here again.

Meal was uneatable.fish undercooked and mushy,sautéed onions were sour,bread old and half grilled,burger overcooked.very nice decor and cheap happy hour,off duty employees hangout out way to much like sitting in their private social club and not a place of business, thought was very unprofessional and found it a distraction from our experience.i would not visit again

We always love eating here! The beautiful pictures of the springs are worth the trip, add to it a great cheeseburger or salad and it's the best deal around!

Great food, atmosphere was cool, service was extremely slow--took over an hour to get our food! On top of that it cost me like $30 for a salad! Sheesh! Won't be back...

4 shrimp on the $16.00 po boy sandwich, cold flavorless fries, slow service to be seated and even slower to pay the bill. The only thing we enjoyed was the salmon dip or I'd rate this one star. Also unable to use the restroom as it was being repaired.

I had the pork chop marsala with Mac n cheese. The temperature of my pork chop was on point however, the pork chop needed more seasoning. The pork chop was also floating in its cream sauce. The Mac n cheese was more like noodles with Alfredo sauce poured over them and they lacked seasoning as well. The spinach and artichoke dip was good. Our waitress, Ruth Ann was amazing. Very attentive, making sure that our drinks stayed full and our chip basket was refreshed when it got low.

The food and drinks are both fantastic.i ordered the Fisherman's Catch and my wife had Chicken Oscar. We couldn't have asked for better meals. We eat out a lot and this was top line for sure. I also ordered Conch Fritters and was wishing I had room for another order. Last time I had Conch Fritters this good was over 50 years ago in the Bahamas. Can't say enough about the food. Our waitress was an awesome young lady. She was very knowledgeable about the area and spent time talking with us. We will be back. Highly recommend you swing by and enjoy their food too.

Walked in party of 8, we were seated quickly. The food was large portions and excellent. The desserts were huge plenty to share.

Had a great time sitting outside on a Friday evening listening to live music. The food and service were great!

Have been coming here for years and made the more than one hour trip to get there because it was such a special spot. Not so much anymore. The menu has changed a great deal and many old favorites are missing. What we did order was ok for one meal and downright bad for the second. Sauce was like soup rather than sauce and pasta was actually floating in it! And the taste was underwhelming. The service was poor even though we were the only couple in the dining area. Several times things were forgotten and we had to wait long periods of time to receive condiments or wine order while our server chatted with other staff members. It’s really disappointing because we used to love coming here but the food and menu have taken a nosedive while the prices have risen way beyond the value of the food.

What a gem of a restaurant! Lovely outdoor courtyard. We started with fried green tomatoes and conch fritters. They were devine 😋. My husband had pasta salad and I tempted the fish ruben sandwich. Both were very good. Despite some large groups that were seated and ordered before us, our food came quickly and the service was very good. Can’t wait to go back.

We drove an hour to visit this mini museum/ family restaurant. The first time, my food was a lil salty. But the second time, everything was on point and excellent. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice. We are looking forward to back next month! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
