Surprisingly good Lebanese food in Marksville

Great costomer service and the food was delicious and filling.

If you are visiting the casino nearby, I recommend you eat here. It is close enough but also not on the main strip, so it's less crowded. Very quaint, and we had a great server. The food was excellent. They could use a tad less salt, but it was still very good.

Best service that I have received at a restaurant in a long time. Alexis was amazing, we had come for our anniversary 2 days before. She remembered what we had and suggested options since they were out of cabbage rolls. The cabbage rolls impressed my taste buds the first time we came. Love the different flavors in the meats in the combination place also. The Grecian sauce is to die for. Definitely a 5 out of 5 place to eat.

Amazing food and great service. Alexis was our server both times that we went. She remembered our order from before, when we came back for a to go order. The flavor of the food was spot on. New favorite place to eat in Marksville.

We have dined there many times the last few years… Food is very good and hot, service is really good. Adequate amount of portions… like PLENTY !! You will enjoy the visit …. Prices on par with most good restaurants ! Give em a try !!!

Went here with friends while visiting Marksville. Great Mediterranean food0 and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Food had excellent quality and taste.

An awesome find tucked in and out-of-the-way location. I came in for lunch on a Sunday. Sat down at a table, but they also had a good sized bar area. Ordered the chicken Shawarma and gyro combination plate. I thought it was excellent, and a good value for $16 considering the amount of food. The server checked on me multiple times to make sure everything was OK. Some aspects of the interior deco could use some attention, but overall a cool Mediterranean vibe. Definitely recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I traveled in from east texas and there is nothing close to this delicious where I live. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is so relaxing and the food could not be better. The grape leaves, the cream cheese crab spring rolls, the hummus, the pita bread, the fried cheese and the gyro and shrimp pasta; all were absolutely fantastic!! You have to try this place.

Absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is incredible. The fajita spring rolls are a must have and the chicken pasta is perfect.

I Would give 10 stars if possible. I’ve been to Greek places in Lafayette and the food here at this restaurant is the best. For Avoyelles Parish, I’m floored. Everything we had was exceptional: chicken schwarma, musaka, crab spring rolls, fried cheese, hummus. Prices are very reasonable, quiet ambiance. Highly recommended eatery!

It was our first visit here. We were greeted by the owner Ms.Mandy, she was so inviting and kind. Our waitress Courtney was sooo sweet, checked on us every few minutes.Another helping waitress,Debra, was very helpful going over the menu and suggesting items that we might like. All three of them were so delightful! Now on to the food, we ordered chicken pasta, shrimp and lamb pasta, fish and shrimp, fajita spring rolls, crab and cream cheese spring rolls, pita bread, habibi’s sandwich and fries and salads.(the lamb was amazing, perfectly cooked) Every item was delicious. So between the food and service I give them 5 stars. We will be returning again, they just received new customers!

My husband and I are visiting the area and glad we stumbled across this place. The food is AMAZING and the staff was really nice. Definitely give this place a try.

I'll start with they have the best falafel I've ever had, I usually find it a little bland but there's is extremely flavorful, also recommend the Fried Cheese and Gyro platter, finished up with Kanafa, an excellent fried sweet cheese covered with a simple syrup that's so delicious.

My first time here.. The Fish & Shrimp platter is by far the BEST I've ever tasted. The servers were so kind and patient with our very large group orders.

Went here because my girlfriend had been wanting to try new foods. Everything we ordered was excellent. Amazing service and wonderful environment. We will actually be going back there this weekend.

There was not a single thing I did not thoroughly enjoy. The food was excellent. I got the Lamb chops and added a side of fried shrimp. The sauce for the lamp chop is spicy, citrusy, and garlicky. Superb, but honestly, the lamb was great without it. The salad and house dressing, truly chefs kiss for my entire meal. My husband got the surf and turf. Did not disappoint. We will back asap and hope to go often.

The staff was very nice and food was ok. Not a fan of ethnic food is the only reason I say this. If you are then I definitely recommend.

Easily one of the better Mediterranean food restaurants around. Ordered hummus and the sampler for two, and was very pleasantly surprised. Everyone else at the table left happy and quite full.

The food is wonderful! I- literally - CRAVE their chicken wrap and fried cheese every so-often and make the drive down just to get this! Great place and the owners are fabulous!

A real gem in an unlikely place. My friends and I really enjoyed the food served at this restaurant. The spices, preparation and quality were fantastic. Wife and I had the sampler and every bit of it was delicious. We are experienced travelers and highly recommended this restaurant.

We have been wanting to visit this place for a while. Had lentil soup and feta salad a time or two. We were greeted and sat right away. We got there at 6:20. We started with the Crab and cream cheese spring rolls was a great start. I loved the sauce that came with it . We ordered the rack of lamb (medium rare). and the Habibi sampler! The lamb rib was delicious and juicy it came with this awesome green sauce. The Baba Ganoush was so good, smoky and silky, oh and the Kebah!! Family owned family run! Thank you Maddy we’ll be back soon!:)))

Passing through on way back home and decide to stop here for lunch. Best Lebanese-food we have ever eaten. Very tasty!

Some of the best food I have ever ate and the wife was right I did not think it would be good but it was awesome.

02/24/23 Since my last review, my wife and I have discovered a new favorite dish here. The Beef Kabob is amazing. It's not a kabob in the traditional sense, no skewer, just all the parts on a plate. The meat is nearly always (98%) the tenderest steak you can imagine. You get the regular other platter components, rice, salad, hummus and pita. It's exceptional, you should try it. Previous review (I don't remember when) A pretty darn good Lebanese restaurant. Fairly amazing when you consider how deep you are in Cajun Country. Actually rivals Albasha's in Baton Rouge.

Great place to eat in Marksville. Food was and always is delicious.

We drove down to Marksville to visit this restaurant and it was worth the trip. We started with cabbage rolls and the wife ordered shrimp and pasta while I ordered the combination plate of chicken shawarma and gyro along with a salad and rice. The meal was delicious with healthy serving size- no going home hungry. The waitress was prompt and cordial: the food arrived promptly.

What a surprise. I never expected this amount of taste in my mouth in Marksville. But a must stop place again.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years and we keep coming back. It's our favorite restaurant. I refuse to eat at Mediterranean restaurants in Dallas, where I currently reside, because I just know they will not compare. Every time I travel back to Louisiana, Habibi's is a must. The service is excellent too and they always remember us. Hands down my favorite restaurant!
