Terrible food, they messed up my order, but if it was edible it would have been fine. But terrible quality, absolutely no flavor. The worst in Lakeland.

Moo goo gai pan had very little chicken in it and little to no white cream sauce! Neither one were edible at all and when I called the restaurant to see what we could do about it they told me it was my fault because I didn't order extra sauce but I ordered extra vegetables and they had to use cornstarch to bind everything together. I asked them how was I supposed to know this she told me I should have done my research! Do not go here and do not order from here folks save yourself some time effort and money of all things!

Food is so nasty here, called but mgr says she wasn't gonna do anything about my food & told me I don't know good food! DO NOT EAT HERE!!! MGT IS EXTREMELY RUDE! BOUGHT 4 DINNERS such a waste of money!

The food is always good to me, the kitchen staff is a high rated experience as well, but Everytime my family and I come in the cashier is horrible. She never smiles, always worried about her phone, short when speaking and just throws the food on the counter when it’s ready. Not a good look.

Portion size was what you would expect but the food was quite blan. We ordered chicken fried rice, beef and broccoli, and a side of crab Rangoon. Both main dishes fell flat on flavor. The crab Rangoon was had absolutely no crab to it. Left us disappointed, we will try somewhere else

My recent visit to Happy House left me feeling underwhelmed. The lo mein was skimpy on chicken, just overloaded with noodles. The fried rice wasn't much better, it wasn't the flavorful kind you expect at a Chinese restaurant, just plain white rice. **Unimpressive Service:** The cashier wasn't particularly friendly, which didn't add to the overall dining experience. **Pricey for the Quality:** Considering the quality of the food, the price seemed high. I felt like I didn't get good value for my money. Hopefully, Happy House can address these issues. Atmosphere is Very clean. Food is Top Notch, I mean VERY good. Service was a little slow, but that because they make food to order (Fresh). If you don't want to wait order ahead, but I promise it's worth the wait

Momma , her husband, and their daughter are amazing people! Food is always wonderful and service is always great!! I always order chicken and broccoli with bourbon sauce!! My husband moogooguypan ( soo spelled wrong im sure!) no mushrooms! Amazing food!! Amazing family!!

Unfortunately I had to rate this restaurant a WHOLE one because that's the lowest rating available. I just picked up a door dash order and the young lady at the front counter was extremely rude, unprofessional and simply put, nasty!! I'm so glad that this is not my food. I will never order from them and I wouid urge you not to. I walked in and politely told her who I was picking up an order for. She, with no politeness, gave no eye contact, dropped my customer's bag of food on the counter and turned away as if to go get something else. I asked, "Is this it"? She mumbled "yeah" and sat down. These business need to respect the fact that CUSTOMERS keep your doors open! She was a short young lady wearing glasses with a bob haircut. Customer service means everything! I also warned my customer about her attitude. #DoorDasherComplaint

My go to Chinese spot. Very friendly staff, always customize my orders exactly how I want. Great portions for a great price, something you see less and less of these days.

Food was gross fried rice sucks.. the meat kinda had like the taste of expired meat. Like when u open something bad. That's what it tasted like first time and last time I'll eat there

Went and ordered takeout. Had the pork chow mien with rice lunch special. Food was pretty good. Only negative it was 3/4 rice. Should had just ordered a pint of chow mien.

Happy House is always my go-to for Chinese takeout. Some of my favorites are the house lo-mein, beef w/broccoli, and their chicken wings.

Just received my food via door dash, food was okay. Peppered steak and onions had no flavor and almost no steak. I noticed they scam their portions of meat as well by placing an inch of rice underneath the meat to allow the appearance of heavier portioned protein. So saddening. Hard to find a decent Chinese restaurant anymore.

Happy House serves delicious Chinese food, delivered quickly, everything was fresh and hot! Shrimp rolls and egg rolls were the best we've had in a very long time! Our new favorite!

I just have to say the food here was absolutely delicious! First time I ordered from here. I couldn't believe how fast I got it, how much food I got and how hot it was upon delivery! Awesome job and 100%I will be ordering from here again!!!

Lady at the front desk is EXTREMELY rude. Was asking her if they had a specific item and she grabbed a menu and slammed it on the desk. Do not come here. Food was bland, inside looks like a prison, rude rude people. Not only that, but the food was expensive, really expensive.

We think Happy House is by far the best in South Lakeland! The rice is amazing, the service is always friendly, and the portions are huge (especially when compared to place close by)

The food is excellent. I had egg foo young, fried rice, egg roll and delicious wonton soup.

The general Tao’s is the best I have ever had. The sauce makes it! Would like to see more ratio of meat to rice but I guess you can’t have everything. 4*s but it would be 5*s if there was more meat. I have not tried anything else because I love this dish so much.

Everything I've eaten from here has been as fresh as I've ever had takeout Chinese, and also very very tasty. The bourbon chicken is especially wonderful.

I've been going here for years. Recently, the company had some sort of change. I ordered Hot and Sour Soup, Wonton Soup and Shrimp lo mein. I like the new flavors these dishes have! Now I'm excited to try more off the menu.

Not bad, order on Friday or Saturday night for best quality. Had a few times on weekdays, not quite the same. Different chef? not sure. Will eat again. Prices are good.

Love this place my orders have always been right and done when i go pick up. Food is amazing and friendly staff.

Their food is really good. I come from Queens, NY and many people know that some of the best Chinese Food come from Queens. With that said, this is by far the best place around the Lakeland area for Chinese Food. Every order I have placed was delivered on time and was hot. Every dish I have tried (which was many) was really good. I guess the only downfall would be when you ask for extra spicy, the dishes don't come close to be spicy. Other than that, try them out!

Prices on lunch menu are great. For 5.50 you get nice lunch portion. Dining area nice and clean. I am usually hard to please but this place will have me as a return customer.

Out of towners, staying at the geogroup at imperial lakes resort. This was a fairly cheap and very close easy solution to food after a whole day of travelling. The food was very good. It would have been a 5 star but the general tsos we ordered wasn't as spicy as it was ordered to be. Ordering was easy with the option to order online. The worst part of our experience was the fact my gps refused to guide me to the restaurant, and obviously that has nothing to do with the food. All in all. If you are in the area, are hungry for chinese, this is a very good option! Give it a shot.

My 1st time visiting this store, ordered take out sweet & sour chicken & crab ragoon. Was very delicious. I will definitely be coming back here now that I've found my favorite Chinese food. Just moved to Fl, from Michigan & was very nice to beable to find a great place to eat. There was a very young lady ( kid ) who took my order. She did a wonderful job. 👍👍 for Happy House made me a 😆 customer.

It's hard to find decent Chinese "take out" in Lakeland, however I would rate this place as better than average based on Polk County Standards. It's far better than the other places I've tried locally.

Since moving from a large city with excellent Chinese cuisine, I've tried numerous local places in Lakeland and been so dissapointed. I ordered Singapore Mei Fun, egg rolls, and egg drop won ton soup - and let me say I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor, freshness, and quality was excellent and the delivery was fast. You can easily order online and track your order which is so convenient. The prices are the same as pretty much every other local spot but now it is actual quality cuisine. I won't be ordering from any other place except them from now on. Definitely try them, you will not be disappointed.

Its rare i write a review on anything, but i thought i should write a review about this great restaurant.. My wife and am from Ca so we have great restaurants there. Since coming to Florida, it has been very hard finding a good Chinese restaurant here. I must say this has been the best Chinese food i have had in a long time.this restaurant is owned and operated by a couple and i really feel that they will make it here in lakeland once everyone fines out about the restaurant. the food is APlus . Please go and try them out
