Amazing food and service! Can’t recommend high enough!

Houndstooth Kitchen: Lived Up to the Hype! We had a fantastic experience at Houndstooth Kitchen! We made an outdoor reservation, and while there was a bit of a snag with our table being taken before we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were seated quickly. The service was incredible - attentive, prompt, and all around friendly. The staff was gracious and really made our night. But let's get to the most important part - the food! The dishes were absolutely delicious and fresh. You can definitely tell they use high-quality ingredients. We weren't surprised to see so many 5-star reviews online, and our experience lived up to all the hype. If you're looking for a great meal with outstanding service, Houndstooth Kitchen is the place to go! We will definitely be back.

Feels healthy Panini + Soup = ❣️

My family and I sat down at one of their outdoor tables during the farmers market, I scanned the QR code and was browsing the virtual menu when someone came outside and asked us if we needed menus, I said no and pointed at my phone to insinuate I had the virtual menu already and he rudely responded with "these tables are for paying customers so please move." And so we did. We got up and moved and took our business with us. We will certainly not be returning and we will advise our friends to seek friendlier establishments to give their business to.

Everything is great here ! Love their chicken pesto, Reuben and believe it or not Unsweet tea!!!

Houndstooth is one of my favorite restaurants! We visit all the time for lunch and bring our pups with us. They have doggy photos on the wall from all the dogs who visit. The sandwiches and sides are so yummy, all handmade! Service is top notch, always quick to get your food and checking with you constantly afterwards to make sure you're enjoying everything. We will always come back here for a good meal, can't wait for the next visit! Highly recommend the chicken avocado, lemon thyme turkey, tuna muenster and chicken salad Swiss sandwiches - potato and macaroni salads are so yummy!

The owners are personable, make good food, and love a cute dog. Everything tastes fresh. Sandwiches, soups, and sides are tasty and portions are satisfying. edit: been eating here a year or so now whenever I find myself out during lunch hours. its become my goto lunch spot.

Prices are extremely high for the portions and they made the wrong sandwich that I ordered

Stopped for a late lunch while running errands. Tomato Bisque with fresh croutons on the side, Mix & Match Lettuce Boat Trio (2 Tuna/1 Chicken), and a Black Cherry Dr. Brown’s…DEEELICIOUS! Perfect Weather to sit outside in a clean space on a quiet afternoon with excellent service. Can’t wait to do it again:)

Outstanding food and service! We stopped by for lunch. Food arrived fast and was delicious. I got the trio boats, chicken, tuna and avocado egg salad abd my husband the tacos. Highly recommend!

I love this place It's a hidden gym of Maitland and Orlando. If you're here you have to stop and try the soups.

Really nice staff, parking right across the street, great food, very dog friendly. We enjoyed the patio out front (covered) l, outdoor fans. Our pup enjoyed some ice water and hanging out with us for lunch.

I was compelled after taking my first bite to leave a review. First time here. No nonsense, great food. Sandwiches were full of flavor, and incredibly delicious. Staff is extremely friendly. If you’re looking for a good lunch spot, look no further. 10/10 hands down.

Love this place! Haven’t tried a bad menu item yet, but my favorite is the pimento. The staff is very friendly and we love that the restaurant is dog friendly and has a beautiful outside seating area.

Houndstooth Kitchen in Maitland is one of my favorites for deli style sandwiches and sides. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious.

Seemingly off the beaten path of 17-92, but certainly familiar to Maitland locals, Houndstooth is a must-try deli style scratch kitchen. I had the panini pressed Houndstooth Cuban (+ tomato), and Macaroni Salad, and iced-tea. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Love the panini pressed approach to doing a Cuban. The pork had a clean marinade flavor, too. And quite possibly the best macaroni salad, this side of the Mississippi. This is one of those places that when you realize you missed out ever since they opened about 4 years ago, you want to come back and make up for lost time, especially after seeing all they offer (salads, panini sandwiches, soups and sides). The spacious outside patio overlooking the scenic park across the street was also a pleasant surprise. I'm an interior designer, who found the rustic modern decor to be a nice complement to the quaint interior. More importantly, as an Alabama Crimson Tide fan, the Bear Bryant "Houndstooth" and Crimson-stained reclaimed ship lap paneling was a subtle and tasteful touch. Even if you're a Tiger, Gator, Bulldog or Nole fan, you'll still love Houndstooth.. and its owners even more!

We have included houndstooth into our weekly lunch rotation since they opened in maitland. Delicious food, great service, and uses local resources. So nice to find a sustainable and quality “mom and pop” place. Bonus- they love dogs!

We ate there today for lunch, shared a cup of pea soup, delicious! Then on to Cuban panini sandwich and a chicken avocado panini,both were great. Will definitely go back. Thank you!

We had friendly service and delicious food here! We will definitely be back because the menu has so much to offer. The brisket tacos are to die for... Definitely my favorite savory item on the menu so far. We also had one of their fresh baked cookies and it was absolutely amazing. This is a great little spot for lunch!

We absolutely love this place! They take simple classics and go above and beyond with their quality and comfort. We went to school at The University of Alabama and this place truly is a little slice of home. The chili is outstanding and their tea is freshly brewed and the perfect ratio of sweet to strength. Love them!

We have gone to Houndstooth many times over the last year and have always enjoyed the experience. This weekend we had Houndstooth cater a party we had. They provided catering supplies needed as well as great food for all. Smoked pork sliders and potato salad hit the spot. Thank you!
