Last 15 or so pizzas have been great. New owner cares. The callcenter is hit and miss. Rarely they get it right, listen and make them repeat. Especially listen to price.

The owner Ray, needs to be fired. He’s cheap. He’s all full of himself. Steals money out of employees checks, PAYS UNDER THE TABLE, will not print pay stubs unless you ask him 5 times, there are an unlimited amount of roaches, food is old and he refuses to throw it out to save money, no wonder why nobody wants to work for him, and if they do they don’t last long. I will be reporting him to the IRS, and I will also be reporting this situation to local authorities and Marion County for an inspection. Let’s also not mention how he takes so many vacations and off days? It’s a little suspicious if you ask me. This owner is FULL OF IT!!!!! I’ll be calling all these places tomorrow with proof evidence from multiple employees. This place is ridiculous. GET HIM OUT OF HERE! This place is an absolute JOKE!!!! This issue will get resolved. I promise you that.!!!

Edit: tried em again. Worst mistake ever. Woman behind counter rude and un friendly. Leaves you standing at counter for 10 mins before she comes up. Then tells me when I'm picking up sub sauce don't come with my sub. Then when ya mention all others include it she laughs in my face. Will NEVER go back!!!!! Would give less than 1 star if I could!! Ordered 40 minutes ahead only to get to pick up order to be told oh another 15 to 20 minutes. Rude and un friendly. Took over 5 mins to come to the counter. Will never go here again!!

I’ve had a lot of bad luck with this store but today everything went smoothly. Haven’t tried the pizza yet but the man working is running the shop alone on a holiday and I think that deserves some appreciation. Work ethic is a dying characteristic

10.99 large 3 topping if u pick it up. That enough to feed 2 to 4 people. Depending on how much u eat. My family it feeds 4 people.

I had a very wonderful experience. I had a issue with my wardrobe,(MISSING SHIRT ).The beautiful redhead female manager made me feel at ease, & was flexible with me. Thank yall SO much. I will be returning !

Avoid this place, mediocre food @ best but thats not even the worst thing. They use offshore to take calls and routinely cancel deliveries without notice. Its like "notice we aint driving to your house" after you've paid. I'd sooner have a slow, painful root canal than deal with the rude owner & employees who give exactly Zero F's about customers !

The worst burnt pizza I've ever had

My name is jeanne backer and I was an employee of this store from may 2 to Oct 4 , 2023. The new owner , RAY just showed up one day . wasn't ever told any anything about it. Ib was never told that the store was sold. He didn't like the way we were trained and started changing everything down to the portions of food. Our salads were pretty popular before he decided that the salads weighed to much ! I wouldn't pay $10 for a salad that has barely anything on it. We also were told to not change out the food as often . like the salami and ham, and turkey and all the other things we would put on some of your salads . I was not comfortable in serving food that I know could be possibly going bad , if not bad already. I watched him put pans away, unwashed on the table , to be used for the next day. They still had all the cooked chicken stuck to them. When I went to get them to clean them , I was yelled at to put them back , that he was not spending all night there cleaning. People can get very sick like that , and there was already a problem with and infestation of roaches . leaving pans with food in them just makes the problem bigger. I definitely think a health inspector needs to go inspect that store. What a coincidence that right after he yelled at me about the dirty pans that he did not want me to wash , he fired me .no reason , just told me that he didn't think things would work out. The 2 days that I worked around him , he did nothing buy yell and curse at us . he's extremely cheap and thats why the food will never be really any good anymore. he started doing all the deliveries just so he could take the tips. He would then take money from our tip cup daily. when he wasn't even doing that job. He still refuses to give me my last paycheck that he owes me If I call to ask for it he hangs up on me. I have reported him to the department of labor and the department of revenue. He's a poor excuse of a store owner.

After the summer I believe new owners or something took over this location. The toppings and the portions are spread thin now probably for higher profit margins. Food has completely changed and not for the better..... DiGiorno has had more toppings and better quality

Hungry Howie's used to be a good place for reasonably priced food. Now it's just overpriced garbage. Avoid this place. It's a rip off!

Ask for the dough to be well done. Well done doesn’t mean to burn it till the crust is black and cheese is rock hard. Called and asked to get it replaced and was told no due to not having any drivers. But they called door dash to deliver the first one…..

Add me to the list of customers who ordered pizzas, waited 1.5 hours for delivery, then couldnt get anyone to pickup the phone to inquire where our order was. We drive up there and store is closed early, lights out, doors locked. Another customer also in the parking lot looking for their delivery that didn't show. This type of horrible service didn't just happen to us. Read their awful reviews. Stick in a fork I'm done.

Every time I try a pizza I can't help but eat so many slices. Love their pizza's. The place is a little small but not crowded. Many seem to order out. Keep making delicious pizza.

Delores is a horrible manager, doesn’t pay employees, also has children walking around in the back and front with dough in hand throwing it at customers. Again very unprofessional. Place needs to be visited by the health inspector disgusting how do you show up to work with no shoes

The manager at this location is rude and hung up on me. They take our order then advise they can’t fulfill it. Please stay away from this place and I will be contacting corporate about the abuse I suffered at this location. The manager cursed at me, was rude, and hung up on me. SO NOT ORDER PUZZA FROM THIS PLACE. Bad service period!

Never call here and order. Either show up, place your order and wait for it or go someplace else. Very short staffed so phone calls and phone orders/deliveries get pushed to the back while standing there will get you a pizza. The pizzas good so I'll wait but will never call here again. This had lead me to usually overlook HH.

Since phone orders are outsourced to Pakistan with folks who don't speak English very well I have ceased to order from our local HH. The store is dirty and the skeleton crew is overworked. It's too bad HH previously had decent Pizza by Florida standards. I

Literally ordered a few pizzas for my family, waiting an hour and a half… nothing. Checked the status and it still showed it was being made. So I called. The lady on the phone said “oh yeah, we don’t have a driver so we cancelled your order”. I asked if they tried to call me or let me know and she responded “yeah no sorry”. Literally waited an hour and a half and had I not called we would still be waiting.

Ok pizza friendly staff they were short staffed the day I went input got served really fast thanks guy's.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. The experience was so awful that my wife and I just walked out after paying. The entire experience was painful

I love this location...Pizzas and cheesy bread are always cooked perfectly and I find them very tasty. I call ahead and pick them up myself especially and I've never had a problem

I placed an order over the phone with someone who barley spoke English. She told me the pizzas would be delivered in 50 minutes. An hour and a half later I called them and the young lady said that the order was reversed because they didn't have a driver. In other words, my order was cancelled! She was very rude when I asked her why didn't anyone call me to let me know I wasn't going to get my pizza. Never getting anything from there!!

Ordered 2 large 2 topping pizza's. 1 was bacon and the amount of bacon was awesome. Not cheap like other pizza places I have went too. Other pizza was pepperoni and onion. Was very good and hot. Would definitely recommend trying it out. Spend $21 and some change.

Wow. I’m from NYC, known as the city with the worse costumer service lol. But this place takes the cake. The young man with glasses has no idea how to be a good cashier. I asked for the address and he couldn’t let me kno if I’m calling the correct location. We asked about a salad that was displayed on the front window and that was also a issue for him because he told us there is no salad on the front window where there clearly is. I was very disappointed this type of service and he needs to have more kindness for people who are not from around here.

I have been having issues with this location for a while. I just tried to call and order and it does not even go to the store. There is a central ordering line and they couldn't even find the address. When they attempted to transfer me to a manager it rang for nearly two minutes. I hung up. WHY IS THE STORE NOT TAKING THE ORDERS ANYMORE?

They forgot to pack my order so they blamed it on door dash then me tge Customer has to contact door dash for them to correct the order. I don't recommend this company as they will not help you all they do is pass the buck. Now I know why they have a poor rating and it will only get worse after my complaint

These people were made to work through a hurricane and did a great job. With no other places open in the area they were very busy while worrying about getting home to family. Kudos to them and boo to the employers who made them work when all others closed.

Ordered pizza at 12 to be delivered at 5 pm. They charged us 2x cost and 2xed our order. Pizza didnt show by 5:30. So we drove to store. We were told out pizzas would be out in 12 min. Only had the supervisor there and she said she had been slammed and only had one person filling in who didnt even work there. Waitied about 15 min. And the guy who didnt work there said our order was just delivered. Wont say much elese about that but Scary!!! I do feel for them for not having help but rest assured I will never order from there ever again! Dont reccommend this particular store ever. Order from any other pizza place but this one! They did end up reimbursing us for one of the 2 charges.

Compared to their competitors I think it taste good.

I placed my order at 5:30 for a pick up at 6:15. Was told that my order still has 15 more minutes before it was ready and that was at 6:15. When I was in there they was standing around talking. My order was not ready till 6:37. And had to go back because they did not give me all my food.

Love their pizzas and fast service. Fair pricing and nice staff.

1 person working in the back...the next employee...Ill be with you in a minute while she goes back to talk with another employee. No one has taken my order. Several minutes later...the one employee shooting the breeze with another employee comes up to take my order....20 minutes and it will be ready. People come on after me and get their orders and I am still sitting here. Last time I'm eating at this Hungry Howies.

Spent $16.04 on a specialty pizza left a $2 tip on a pickup. And didn't make the pizza right

When I walked in it was very clean . I downloaded the app to see how there app worked I enjoyed it the app allowed me to see and track the progress of my order and the app also gives you rewards for using it the staff at Hungry Howie's we're also nice

I ordered a pizza at 8 it’s 10pm and never received the pizza nor did they tell me they was closing. Luckily I didn’t pay with a card. I will never recommend this place. Very unprofessional. If u don’t have the workers and are closing early it needs to be stated that on the door and website.. This place don’t even deserve any star.. just sad

Had to place a delivery order from a hungry Howie's 3 miles from my house thru a call center in a foreign country. Really?!? Was told it would be 16minutes but at hour and 16 minutes still no pizza.if you call to check on an order then you can talk to an employee at the location. She was courteous and professional. The pizza showed up 5 minutes later. The delivery driver was courteous and apologetic.the pizza was warm and did taste good.

Traaaaaaash. Worst Hungry Howies in a long time. We all know they’re bottom tier and I use them for children 99/100 but this was bad even for that. It’s literally raw. Not sure how they accomplished that as their ovens are preset and on a timed conveyor. Must have reached in and pulled it early. Pay the $2 extra and go to Pizza Hut or $10 extra and go to Piesanos. I hope this place gets a new owner or mgr soon….

Came here at 9pm, signs says open and business hours closed at 10 pm and told me that they are closed. Waste of my time coming all the way here, drove 9 miles. Thanks a lot Hungry Howie's!

Google says they close at 10 p.m. on their door it says it closes at 10 p.m. they're open sign was on. Yet at 9p.m. they turn me away and said that they were closed. Go figure. What a waste of time and gas. Thanks Hungry Howie

This has got to be the worst experience ever. We ordered a pizza at 7:10 and at 9:00 pm I made a another call for our order, asking where it was. They had all the necessary information, even the credit card number but claimed they never got it. I would say they have some problems at this location. They had all of our information as we are a regular customer there, but not no more. We are very suspicious of credit card fraud.

Excellent 🍕 pizza, the dough was terrific . You 👀 actually want to eat the crusts because it absolutely 💯 percent tasty .

The two young ladies working tonight were absolutely awesome! I don't know their names but they must have known I needed a smile! AND they made me the BEST veggie spicy chicken EVER!

It's not Chicago deep dish pizza, but It will have to do. I wish one of the chains would bring real Chicago deep dish pizza to the people.

GM helped me out so much found a great deal for me and was able to feed myself lunch today as well.

Every time I go in a order I have no issues at all. They treat us great. We may have to wait longer than normal cause of all the orders ahead of us but I don't mind just sitting and chilling and getting to know the employees. They are a great bunch of people.

Always my go-to place for their flavored crust and taste. Isn't the best pizza I have ever had, butt good for the price.

Driver was super nice and thanked me for my order. Pizza was hot and fresh. Surprisingly had plenty of toppings and good cheese quality. Will definitely order from this store again.

Delivery or pickup everyone is super nice and the food is most of the time hot which is a big shock for hungry howies which are known for their half cold pizza.

If you order the pizza the way you want it, its amazing. They seem to put too much sauce on the pizza if youre not careful. The staff does not wear masks while preparing your food. So its a little sketchy if you want to test fate. There is no divider between customer and employee either. Those are the only reasons for the 4 stars.

Love the sausage and pepperoni on original crust. The staff has really gone down hill in the last few years. I have to repeat myself multiple times. Pay Attention FFS!!

We recently were at an adult birthday party. The hostess ordered 5 pizzas from Hungry Howie's. They were delivered on time, temperature warm and very tasty.

This store is great..employess are helpfull.

They no longer have the walk in special. And I waited for almost 30 minutes for my ten minute pizza that was small for a large and was nothing special.

You can't beat a large 2 topping pizza for $7.99 and it's just the right thickness with plenty of toppings. .
