Il Mulino is one of the most delicious restaurants in the area. I have eaten years ago at the New York location and now have experienced the Miami one, located in Sunny Isles Beach, Acqualina.

It was a pleasure to visit Mulino. Arturo, my host, made my lunch especially enjoyable by recommending excellent selection of dishes and making me feel like at home. I highly recommend to visit Mulino, especially during Miami Spice!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Miami! The atmosphere is elegant and plenty spacious. The two level dining room looks like it could be in an Italian piazza. The extra touches really make me feel so special. The staff are so friendly and helpful! For our main we had veal piccata and I had snapper piccata which was a special. Both were extraordinary! We loved the Caesar salad and dessert tiramisu. The extra touches include the freshly carved cheese from a huge wheel of Parmesan Regianno, zucchini chips and heirloom tomato bruschetta. Unbelievable! After dinner they bring you an aperitif of homemade grappa. Wow! This is a really special place! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Fraud alert. If you are looking for a place just to try to impress, this is the restaurant. Although it is well located, the service is standard, the cocktails do not shine and you can find the dishes anywhere else for half the price. For what you pay, it is scandalous.

Went for dinner at Il Mulino at the Acqualina Resort over the weekend and the food was bland and mediocre. The cocktails were over priced and 90% ice. They should be embarrassed for charging $34 for a cocktail that is basically a giant ice cube with 1 oz of Macallan. Save your money and go somewhere else. There are better options in the area that won’t cheat you.

The delicious food here is only matched by the immaculate service. Our family was taken care of by Terry, Santiago, Jimi, and Luma and they were kind, accommodating and responsive. We absolutely loved the succulent veal and the fish was cooked to perfection. A beautiful experience through and through under the management of Carlos. Can’t wait to come back again for that tirimusu!

Eat here if you want to have filthy, unwashed produce and food poisoning. Lettuce tasted like it had just come out of the ground and had residue all over it, but the topper was the dessert (assorted berries) that had thick visible soil and dirt inside and outside of the fruits. So horrifying and disgusting. Was ill the whole night after eating here. I'd suggest never going to this restaurant, or if you do, make sure not to order anything that needs to be washed first because they clearly don't properly handle the produce at Il Mulino Sunny Isles Beach.

From the beginning within 5 minutes, we had reggiano Parmesan. 3 types of breads ..buchetta And zucchini, chips. The place is all about service and find food so good. I was there twice in 1 week. Love this place!!!

We were 4 for lunch, food was ok, however I ordered the veal piccata, it was ok, but no veggies, waiter never suggested any, never has a plate with just veal??? Strange

OUTSTANDING!!!! One of the best dinners we’ve ever had!!!!! Everything was just STELLAR. Every single food item was delicious and fresh and authentic. And the service was UNBELIEVABLE! ALAN was our captain, and he was one of the best servers we’ve ever had. He made our birthday celebrations unforgettable. Thank you ALAN! And Oliver provided drinks and appetizers and was just superb! Thank you OLIVER! Thanks to Alan, Oliver and the entire Il Mulino team for giving us one of the most unforgettable nights we’ve ever had!!!!!!

Brought back so many memories of the original in NY. Yes it’s my favorite restaurant ok!, and Collin’s Ave was simply spectacular. The service was outstanding and I will need to diet for a week after trying each of the pasta dishes. The chicken exploded with flavor which was incredible. 5 Stars ⭐️. #IlMulino A knowledgeable, friendly and attentive staff made the evening.

Made reservation to celebrate my birthday. They were slow to service and totally forgot my reason for brunch- my birthday celebration.

They post on a site different menu. Poor celection; no salad, no meat (just ground lamb in tonns of lemon -impossible to eat), no soups, no bread. Table has not enaph silverware, no solt, no pepper , no dressing. Simple. Restaurant was enpty.

What a wonderful experience! The table we had was perfectly placed to see prepping of pastas and Branzino. The service was top notch and honestly I was blown away by the level of service and professionalism… hard to come by these days. The FOOD. The FOOD! It was so delicious! My family is Italian from Italy, so I am very critical when it comes to pasta. Absolutely delicious!!!!!! Clams Casino were delicious, Veal Parmesan delicious, Ravioli Porcini was rich and full of flavor, gnocchi was a soft delight, and tiramisu & cheese cake for dessert was devine. I had one of the signature drinks called Passion of Love. It has to be one of my favorites…period! With out a doubt, I would recommend this place for dinner. Exceptional service! Great ambiance! Incredibly delicious food!

Something has changed. Chef or personnel. It’s not as good as it used to be. Very disappointed. I wish them the best , but without me. Maybe they should go back to their beginnings and restart their recipes and make sure to taste them before they put them on the menu . I’m from Italian origin. I exclusively eat in Italian restaurants. This restaurant was one of Nation’s Best.Now it’s just another Italian restaurant. Too bad ..You guys need help…, and fast !!!!

One of the best dining experiences I ever had! Been to il mulino once about 4 years ago so I decided to come back and take my boyfriend for a surprise birthday dinner. The staff made it extra special. We received the BEST service from Anthony and Maria. The drinks, food, atmosphere, and overall energy made for an unforgettable dinner.

Service and food was beyond good!

The complementary cheese and bruschetta was nice. The complementary fried zucchini had good flavour but needed a blot with paper towel to remove excess oil. The service was not streamlined and could use major improvement. Our table top was not flat. The Aqualina building and grounds are beautiful. But, dinner and the overall experience was lacking, for me.

The last time we went from brunch was almost two years ago and a lovely menu style but fixed cost. Now it’s back to a buffet. Really very standard buffet and not worth the price point at all. The salad bar in my daughter’s school is more opulent! Roast pork was dry and a freshly craved sausage was cold. Dessert was a lot of pies.. just after a week of pies after thanksgiving. I asked what one pie was and told it was apple, then again that it was a plain pie, then it was pumpkin - it turned out to be none of these, it was some kind of cheese and orange? Worst part - the staff member behind the cake buffet/bar was wiping his nose on his sleeve! I think this is meant to be a five star hotel! Overall service was lacking. Much nicer brunches to be had in Miami and this was very sadly disappointing as it used to be a lovely location..

Although the food wasn’t that great we had a happy anniversary dinner. Luis our waiter and all the staff made our night special and we thanks you all for that, our 31weeding anniversary day

Outstanding Italian restaurant in Sunny Isles. We had been to its location when it was on South Beach. This location has two areas to sit in--one inside and one outside that is covered with a great view of the pool. The food and service is fantastic. If you want something prepared that is not on the menu and they have the ingredients they will accommodate you. It was a perfect mean and night. I highly recommend the linguine ala vongole--the best I have ever had.

This restaurant is an offshoot of the restaurant of the same name in Manhattan, New York. They also have a restaurant on Long Island, which is not one we return to. Not up to what it should be. However, this restaurant located in Sunny Isles is different story. We have had dinner here multiple times over the years. On every occasion, the food, service and ambience has been exceptional. This is truly fine dining. The dining room inside is a work of art. If you’re inclined, they have outdoor seating overlooking the beach. If you’re looking for the outdoor seating, you should make that known on the reservation. The restaurant is located in the Acqualina Resort at 179th St. in Collins Avenue. I believe if you get your parking ticket validated some or all of the charge for parking is reduced or eliminated. I know that they do validate and it has some effect on parking but as we usually stay in the hotel, we don’t have that issue. If you go to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

First I have to say the people working here are AMAZING..at this point if the food was bad it would still get 5 stars..and speaking of food..OMG..its 10 out of 10..would eat here again. Now the price..its not cheap..but you get what you pay for..this place is a must try

Ate there 3 times this month on vacation. That alone is telling of what we think about this most delicious and comforting home cooked Italian food. Carlos, Ivan, Luiz and all the staff made us feel welcome as we dined outside over looking the pool and ocean. Zucchini and parmigiana to begin and fig grappa to the end, So excellent!!! Thank you.

The service here cannot be matched. Food is always good if not great. If you just want free water to drink make sure you specify that. I thought I did and I got charged $18 for water.

Lovely place to dine. Outside seating is the best over looking pool and ocean front. Wish they had more of top shelf bourbon selection. I ordered the sea bass, which was a bit blend for me. Overall, it was a nice high-end restaurant to dine in.

Implacable service. Authentic Italian home made cuisine, love love their food, their small bites before ordering is nice gesture. A bit old atmosphere but charming. Been many times and will come back.

Great restaurant, beware of their valet!!! For the second time in 4 months they managed to misplace our car keys. In April they found the keys after about 45 minutes. Yesterday evening they did not find the keys!!! We had to take an Uber to our apartment and return with a set of spare keys.

Il Mulino had great ambiance and professional service along with delicious food! We will definitely return.

My wife and I enjoyed an incredible 18th anniversary dinner at Il Mulino. We had a 7:30 reservation and were greeted by multiple staff and ushered to our table where a hand signed anniversary card from the staff and roses awaited us. From there, we enjoyed free appetizers, an amazing meal, celebratory desserts. Ricotta cheese cake my wife's favorite dessert she's ever had. Our servers were not only intentional and kind, but incredibly attentive and engaged. We loved our interactions with Santiago, Rickey, and Jimi. The dinner captain was very polite and helpful as well. Incredible servers and genuinely seemed to care about us as people. As a fun bonus, they prepare the pasta right in front of you. We loved our experience (we ended up eating here a second time during our stay at Acqualina) and can't wait to return!

Great, as always food ambience and atmosphere is as expected  service was amazing started to slack at the end. Granted it was the end of the night. This is one of my go to places, so I can’t complain. Looking forward to going back soon.

We had such a nice meal last evening at this amazing place! We had a beautiful table outside with Ivan and Oliver as our servers. What pleasant and accommodating gentlemen they are! The menu was great, the food beautifully presented and so tasty. The service was the best! Thank you, we will be back!

The perfect place for a week day anniversary. The staff was amazing and I’ll be back soon. Food excellent and surprisingly not heavy as you’d expect with traditional Italian, without lacking any richness of flavor. The tiramisu like a fluffy pillowy cumulus cloud kissed by cappuccinos. 5 stars ⭐️

First time at Il Mulino but we’ve heard about for years. Wow…why did we wait so long? Amazing service with multiple people taking care of us. We never wanted for anything. Pricey but worth every penny and then some.

Waitress overbilled an extra entree for a party of 2 (which then has tax and gratuity added) and 3 bottles of water - after ordering 1 and 1 extra deserts we didn’t ask for. Was supposed to be $35 Prix fixed. So maybe $100 with tax and tip) Ended up $190. Veal was drenched in butter. Snapper overcooked. Super disappointing for one of our favs. Waitress apologized but hit my Amex 2x. Both wrong amounts

Il Mulino is consistently wonderful. The food, service, drinks, and ambiance are always lovely and keep us coming back!

Extremely poor selection of food., far from high standard service. Desert section was very sloppy, untidy , waiters dont pay any attention , not mentioning it wasn't even tasty , like from a cheap grocery story. After spending 650$ for 3 people and leaving hungry certainly not ever coming back. Miami restaurants are going down with a quality of food and services.

It just doesn’t get any better. The service, the food, the music, the staff, the managers. Everyone so welcoming and attentive. This was truly an over the top experience and we can’t wait to return.

This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere in the world. The food is always excellent, the service impecable, and the environment is outstanding. It's not cheap, but it is deifintely worth the price. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a notable dining experience.

Super elegant and delicious. We had the Osso buco, it comes with risotto (more than enough) and the Branzino. Highly recommended. The chocolate dessert: the best!

It brought a delicacy to a traditional Italian veal dish. If you’re a Parmesan connoisseur, this dish is for you. The presentation looks like a delicious pizza. I want to thank the restaurant for doing such a great job with our wedding anniversary dinner. I am normally not a fan of eating at the resort for fine dining, however, this restaurant is an exception to the rule. Exquisite in every way.
