Best cuban bakery ever! I had to review this place because they got to replicate at a 100% the authentic cuban flavor. I'm from Cuba but I lived in Miami so I had my fair share of try outs. I can tell you this place won't dissapoint you. I've only tried their desserts, but when I did omg it was pure nostalgia melting in my lips. Great job!

You need to speak a little Spanish. They don't speak much English. Food is great. Prices very fair. Lots of pastries but also do hot breakfast. They have a lunch special each day. Reminds me of Menu de la Dia at cafes in Europe. They open early. Coffee very good. They have tables. I will go again.

Coffee was bland and reheated, tasted like old. The young lady at the counter didn’t care much. No service table and the machine asked for a tip.

I was waiting for more than 15 minutes because there was no one at the counter, the music was so loud that no matter how much I said "good morning!" to see if anyone showed up, no one showed up. After waiting we ordered 2 croissants, a breakfast and sweets to take away. People who ate the croissants got sick to their stomachs. The sweets were horrible, you could tell they weren't from the same day. Call to let them know and not leave a bad review that could affect them. They hung up on me. That's why I leave my complaint here.

Since I arrived at the place, the attention of the workers was wonderful and special. I had the pleasure of having the special of the day for lunch, which was old clothes, white rice, red beans and fried banana. For dessert I preferred the Viscount; everything was exquisite, fresh and well prepared. I was shocked and more than satisfied with the flavor, seasoning and quality of all the food. Have gone a couple times and both times same lackluster service, guava pastries, with little filling. Server girl with black hair has some rolling of the eyes attitude and poor customer service. Starts talking to another customer before thanking me for my business, when another lady was already talking to the guy. I really don't like that poor customer service at this place. It's not that freaking hard, welcome in with a smile, attend with a smile and thank you for your business with a smile, but instead I have gotten the eye rolling, teenager baby nonsense. Pretentious and immature. I finally decided to leave a review and not come back. There is another place close by, that gives the right customer service. Don't bother replying or asking for more info or apologizing, it obviously won't get fixed. Just a waste of time and money, food is mediocre and the 5 start reviews, I'm sure a good portion are from family and friends. Either way, I'm going somewhere else.

The food in general is super poorly prepared, old meals from the previous day are not fresh from the day, I did not recommend anything to eat from this place as there are no sweets and only a few but it is the only thing that is really useful here... the terrible service on the part of the bosses when it comes to clarifying my concerns, bosses who are a lady with glasses and a man with glasses who are also not at all pleasant, and to end up being abusive towards the girls who work for them without their fault... this star who I would say that if for me I would give it 5 but only to the girls who work there and for some sweets but for the rest -10 stars...lousy place

Do not let J,& J's simple surroundings fool you...We are from Miami and were blown away with the meat and guava pastries, "pastelitos"! Bestvwe have had in years! The Señoritas were great as well. The pastry is light and flakes perfectly. Will definitely return!

This is the baddest pudding I have ever eaten...The remaining 3 stars are for the other sweets that are not that bad but not fine either, a couple of weeks ago I ordered a chicharrón and it was hard and old So that is the worst bread pudding I've ever tried in my entire live…the 3 stars are for the rest of the sweets not bad but not excellent, a couple of weeks ago I asked for a chicharrón and it was old and hard.

I have already come twice. The first day I ordered a coffee and it was very delicious. It is better that you add the sugar. The second day I realized that he works until 10pm at night and I went on a Wednesday to eat ropavieja and everything tasted really good. The beans gave it a thumbs up and I loved the addition of the bananas. I would eat again for lunch or a diner. Thank you so much. Keep improving and never lose quality to earn more money. You can subscribe to weekly food service here and for less than 35$ per person per week, you have your lunches (we have 3 subscribed for our family). The portions are so big you actually can split it to have dinner too!!! You pay less per person per week if you have more people subscribing. So for basically about 35$ you can have home cooked, healthy, fresh Cuban food that is delicious, and changes every day Monday through Friday. This place is awesome!!!!! It's also a full service Cafe and bakery so go in and try everything!!!! I recommend cortadito and the pasteles con guava.

Amazing food! I got the Desayuno Paradise with cuban coffee. Scrambled eggs. And tried the ham croquettas. And the freshly baked bread (YUM)! Try eating the bread with a mouthful of their scrambled eggs. Everything was absolutely amazing. The service. The food. How hot the food was when it came out. Ive never been here, i drive by it every day and support McDonald's and the like often. Its amazing that we forget / take for granted these small mom and pop businesses are here and they make amazing food comparable to corporate ones in cost that are actually BETTER for you because more of the ingredients are fresh. Give this place a try and you wont regret it!

Everything here is delicious! My husband absolutely loves the black bean soup and says it's just like from his childhood back in Cuba! The deserts are perfection! The meat though it looks dry on the outside is prefectly moist and falls apart in your mouth when you bite into it or pull it apart (as all meat should). The only reason it's getting 4 instead of 5 starts is because I was disappointed that's it's $3 for 3 french fry sized pieces of Yuka that wasn't even enough for my 4 year old to eat with his lechon. Let me tell you that Yuka was delicious, just a bummer it was such a small amount. Other than that I will be back because everything tastes good!

I came to Cape Coral for work for a couple weeks and I have stopped here over half my mornings here for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. It is always fast and good. Their coffee is amazing and a great way to start your day. The staff is friendly and fast.

The music is too loud. Some chickpeas are on fire, but the rest seems excellent to me.

I ordered a bun with pork and the meat was old and tasteless, so I couldn't eat it. I let them know kindly and without anyone noticing and they didn't even give me the option of offering me anything in return. I'm not going anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone.
