Worst drinks every, tasted like water,

Manager is really disrespectful and he shout to us… you should never go to that restaurant if you want bad service! They charge you more if you pay in credit card and then they say “it is on the menu” and it is not there!

First time there today with Family an Friends Bryan was our server had the Fish an chips excellent but beware o. Your check the tip is already included on you tab

Great drinks, and food, friendly staff

I have never written a restaurant review in my life before, however I felt compelled to do so for Johnny Longboats because of how truly awful my food experience was. My partner ordered the seafood Alfredo, and I ordered the Shrimp Scampi. My shrimp scampi had NO flavor whatsoever, and was completely watered down. But my partner’s Seafood Alfredo was pretty good! So I requested to swap my shrimp scampi with the seafood Alfredo, and the waitress obliged. However, the seafood Alfredo I received was clearly NOT the same flavor as my partner’s, as I could literally taste test them side by side. Mine clearly had less flavor, and frankly tasted like my shrimp scampi dish. The charitable explanation is that the restaurant is just wildly inconsistent, however I am 90% sure that they used my shrimp scampi I sent away to make my seafood Alfredo. I cannot stress how watered down it was. The only redeeming quality about my experience was that the waitress (Lynn) was very kind. Otherwise, I entirely regret coming here. If you do decide to come, whatever you do, do NOT order the shrimp scampi.

It was a whole vibe, and the homemade corned beef and hash was worth it! Will be back

Such a nice place! The food was so yummy! (Try the fried shrimp and mahi mahi!) Our server was a pleasant individual. The atmosphere and drinks were awesome!

Ugh! We stopped at Johnny Longboats since it was close to our hotel. We had to hurry to place our order before the Happy Hour specials ended. My wife and I, both ordered Happy Hour appetizers for a meal and two Happy Hour drinks each. My daughters ordered noodles with marinara sauce and sushi for their meals. I was shocked when I got the bill. It was just under 100 bucks. Crazy amount of money. I only got two tiny hamburger sliders and my wife got 4 potato skins for the meal. They even charged me 4 dollars extra to have orange juice in my Happy Hour drink! Total scam of a restaurant. Seriously just dont.

We sat for a VERY long time before a server came. We started looking at the menu for the next restaurant over. Food was really bad. The server came over and was like yea I know I usually tell people not to order that!

I'm not big into the bar scene but the food is fantastic and they have plenty of sauce on the table. Service was immaculate!

Laid back relaxed and amazing sushi and seafood. Definitely order the Hush Puppies for an appetizer!

We had a very friendly kind photographer named Lulu who took our group photo along with some individuals and did such a good job. Overall we had a great experience there.

Ordered fresh snapper and fries. Snapper was way overcooked and portion was very small. Fries were cold and hard. Also ordered clam bisque, which must have been 80% butter, very unappealing to look at and taste was so bad we couldn't eat it. Server waited besides the table after we asked for a few more mins to think about what to order, which was odd and felt like we were being pressured to chose. Maybe this visit was just a fluke but will not be returning.

The food, the staff! Our favorite restaurant from now on! Will have to come all the way from Quebec again!

Dropped in on our way north from Fort Lauderdale. Cool place, cool vibe. I can tell it’s a local hangout. I have the grouper nuggets and the sushi was great. Welcome back.

I came in, excited to order the mixed grill Victoria at the door was very pleasant. She like she was a great people. Person took me to a table, and Kim took care of me. When the grill came out, I noticed Broccoli it was room temperature. The rice was Nice and delicious seafood, shrimp, scallops, and fish. All were overcooked. It was good, but definitely overcooked. Kim came by asked me if I wanted some hot broccoli. It’s OK. Everything was good. Just watch it you’re known for great seafood so let’s put it out.

Nate was a fantastic photographer and captured a fun dinner night out with the family. His pictures are wonderful! What a cute idea to add to peoples experience at JL! Food and service was great!

Ordered mahi blackened sandwich 22.00 Very Bland, Artichoke dip 20.00 (Bland and could not Taste the Artichoke), crab Bisque (was not a bisque soup and barely any crab), Grilled Seafood plater with mixed vegetables (overcooked) Ousters were fresh thank goodness. A beer and 3 cokes 160.00. Ok so I had my niece and her husband and my sister from up north so I didn’t complain. But then I get the bill and they charged me 3.00 for sharing my fish sandwich with my sister. I had asked for an extra plate and it never came so I ate my half on a napkin. Save your money don’t visit this place for Bland Cafeteria Food.

No ocean view or breeze. Sit next to parking lot. Tiny 6 raw oysters on 3 club crackers. Hushpuppies were way under cooked, mahi Rueben was messy and tasteless. Water even tasted bad. Very Disappointing.

6 of us went for food. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to approach our table for drinks but the Server ended up doing a decent job. It was quite hot in the restaurant at our booth and when the food arrived it was even hotter. There was a fan overhead that was producing no breeze Whatsoever. I was in the inside corner and asked if I could please get out of the booth. Because I was sweating so badly that I couldn't enjoy my meal and needed to get air. I stood up for about ten minutes and cooled down. I noticed the table next to us was empty. So I asked them to hand me my plate so I could take a few more bites of my food.I was super attentive to not make any kind of mess.At the other table, and if I would have made a mess.I would have cleaned it up, but I didn't make a mess. I was approached by the manager with a very disgruntled look on his face. I explained that I was just sitting there to finish my food because it was so hot and he said well. I need that table. I said. Oh OK, sure you have someone to sit here right now? He said yes so I got up and sat at a seat at the bar finishing my meal. I saw him discussing it with our waiter. No one ever came to sit at the table, he was just lying to me. When the food arrived at the table, my girlfriend's wings were cold so we sent those back.She even asked if they could make them a little extra crispy.The wings never returned to our table.So when we were all finished eating, I asked the waiter to please just box them up Since we were all done eating, she did not get to eat with us.. The manager didn't comp her wings. Needless to say, we were all sweating,the food was just OK and over priced, service was decent but felt the manager was rude. We all agreed we wouldn't be going back.

Food was good! Clean atmosphere. Friendly service. Buffalo wings were really good along with our main entrees. Prices were typical for tourist area. Would recommend to others!

The family and I love this place. Especially when there is live music!

We come almost once a week for breakfast with our two dogs. They do complimentary photos which you can choose to purchase later if you want.

Service was great ! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the performer playing the saxophone was very talented. And Loved the complementary picture !

Really good food the service is mediocre and the atmosphere is really nice with the decorations and being right next to the singer island I also liked the lady who takes the photos she was nice and took great pictures would come back 4 stars

The food came out fast. Directions to the host were clear. Very different place with a giant crab and shark over the bar. Inside and outside. Birds fly around but will not get in your food. Parking is bad on weekends due to beach goers

Went here twice in a month and had the same server. The first time she was prompt with the greeting, but seemed like she hated life. She didn’t come back until the end of the meal and we would have ordered more drinks had she checked on us. The second time she still hated life and supposedly left sick. She put in the wrong order for us. Nobody came to refill drinks or check in dinner (which was incorrect). If she left sick, a manager should have informed us and checked on us. I’m so disappointed in all the restaurants on singer island. In 2.5 years they have all gone downhill in service- sad!

Jani P was our server and she was great and attentive for our many needs. If you don't know they get their sushi from the BEST sushi gem in Florida, next door, Wok by the Beach, hands down the best! Mahi wrap is very good. Salmon sushi was awesome

Not the best experience. I ordered a snapper, and it tasted like we caught it frozen at Publix and cooked it for me. No flavor, bland, and, of course, overpriced. I ordered sweet potato fries, and they were cold. I think it is a safe place to have a drink and eat safe food (burgers and sandwiches) but not seafood for sure.

Johnny longboats is a must go if visiting Singer Island. Every time I go, I always order their Jambalaya. Where I live in New York, it’s hard finding this meal, and Johnny longboats makes a delicious plate. The kids love the decor and my wife loves the drinks. lol

Went to this restaurant with two friends and was surprised that they were aware and conscious of gluten-free foods. So we chose to eat there. I got tuna tartare which when it came out was almost rancid and had worms in it. Sent it back. Got seared shrimp skewers which came out steamed only and flavorless. And I got gluten in my food somehow and was sick for the next two days. Do not recommend it at all and extremely overpriced.

A very extensive menu, you are sure to find what you’re looking for to eat. Service was good. Food was hot. Everyone seemed to be happy and enjoy their food. I ordered the couch chowder. It was OK. The decor is fun for kids and gives you some eye candy. Definitely worth your time and money.

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. Luanna the photographer was the warmest soul. She was a positive light we talked about the whole ride home! Our waitress Ashley was spot on with her food recommendations and her service top notch. Highly recommend.

Ate here February 27 for dinner. Female, brunette waitress with reading glasses was absolutely terrible. She was incredibly short with us, unfriendly and not attentive. You could tell she didn't want to be there and we were a nuisance to her. I didn't even get her name because she didn't give us the time of day. Despite all of that, the food was excellent as was the rest of the staff.

Was visiting Florida for birthday weekend and stoped in for dinner and the food was delicious, service was great atmosphere was great so we went back the following day for lunch

Food terrible expensive for the size portion. I ordered dozen of oysters, very flavorless, the crab cheesy dip it was a joke in size for more than $20… I’m wondering what kind of management is under to leave the ceiling fans dirty, rusted and completely dusted…. Just terrible. The service was ok, the atmosphere ok, but nothing extraordinary… not even low music to enjoy. The only great thing of my visit there was Luana, she’s the photograph lady who made my husband and I very pleasant with her professionalism and kindness. She’s very nice, took excellent pictures. My former review was not that complementary to Johnny longboats. Tonight they completely redeemed the level of service and quality of the food they delivered to the table. I had the fish and chips, and when it was delivered to the table, it was steaming, hot and remained hot Almost to the last bite. My wife had the mahi-mahi tacos. She did wish that instead of the onions and mushrooms she had the french fries because she couldn’t stop eating them off of my plate. What a difference a year makes. Last year, when we were visiting, I received cold wings.

Meh, perhaps the chefs have turned over, but food here used to be excellent. I'd put it solidly on mediocre now a days. The seafood Alfredo needed more cheese and salt, the New England clam chowder was less than satisfactory. Fresh oysters were a plus but for a beach bar that occasionally has live music, still a good time.

Place has changed dramatically over the years but still a fun place to have a drink. Used to have excellent food and top service 4 yrs ago and it has slowly declined. Menu is not as good prices have gone up and in some cases the amount of food down. Service was decent had to return my drink as it tasted like water. Parking was a bit of a pain but its at the beach and it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

It was exquisite, i enjoyed my meal, twas good pancakes and crispy bacon, we took a photo, indeed did we enjoy it, the prices were a tad preposterous, though the sculpture made me feel some type of way, so it evens out, do recommend, i shall attend once more another time.

The management of this establishment is horrid. We received a Cuban Sandwich with rotten meat. The manager never showed up at the table to apologize or to discuss the problem. When asked, he still decided not to show his face. I would think twice about eating at this place. Hopefully the fish sandwich I ate will not give me food poisoning.

This place discriminates against short people for happy hour. Our girls trip went in and only happy hour prices honored at the bar or high top. We asked for them to honor us at a short table because high tables hurt short peoples legs. We planned to eat and drink there. They would not honor happy hour prices there. So we went to Two Drunk Goats, ate and drank at a low table for happy hour. Much better atmosphere!

The ABSOLUTE WORST! The staff looked miserable, the place looked dirty and the food was LESS THAN DESIRABLE. Definitely NOT worth $$$

Maybe I had unrealistic expectations of the stuffed shrimp because I'm a MD girl, but fake crabmeat for $28.99 is ridiculous. Would not recommend.

We went to breakfast on Sunday and it was so good we went back for lunch on Monday! For breakfast we both had omelets … as you can see from the pictures, very generous portions and tasted delicious. We also had a side of bacon and a pancake, both were excellent. The Sunday vibe was set by Live Music with a saxophone player! For lunch we started with the Hush Puppies with a Garlic Aoli …. INSANE how good they were. We’re entrées we had a Ruben Sandwich and the Blacken Cajun Chicken Sandwich … again, both were hearty and delicious! An overall great experience - the food and service - both first rate. A meal that you won’t regret going to for breakfast or lunch. We are excited next time we are in town to try them for dinner! Great burgers and sandwiches, excellent bar and comfortable environment.

Beachy environment and convenient if you are staying in the area. The food was decent, but the quality and flavor did not match the pricing. You are definitely paying for the convenience as it was one of a few restaurants in that area. Service was lacking. No refills on drinks, we had to ask for salads when the food was delivered.

A relatively decent place. Happy hour gets very busy!! Bucket rum punch was mediocre for the price, stick to another cocktail or a beer. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Love the atmosphere. Used to love this place. The food is subpar and the price are quite high. The bill didn’t match the price on menu (lots of them). Had to pay 3% card process fee. The waitress were nowhere to be found during the meal. Got us wrong refill twice because she was too busy to even ask. Had no regard to the customer whatsoever, very disappointed. Ordered watermelon, shrimp salad for 26$ thought it would be good. It was an odd weird taste. The shrimps were quite small. The watermelon were over cooked. It was runny, mushy weird taste. Anyway, I’m not hating this place, it’s just a bit let down from what I remembered. There are few restaurants on the block, maybe it’s time to give them a try.

I really enjoyed the restaurant also the photographer was great very pleasant and did a great job at creating very nice pictures to help create momentos for our forever memories and enjoyment! Loved everything can’t say enough great things! Love everything. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant you will see why it’s so popular!

I would recommend this place for drinks. But that's about it. Bartenders are good as.are the drinks. The food, not so much. Sorry, but it just wasn't good.

Food and service is always excellent. A nice day trip to Riviera Beach. Restaurant is right at the ocean, and a nice walk after dinner is a great plus.

Great food great enviroment and they have this lovely young lady there Lulu she is so kind courteous and professional she will take pictures for you and have them available extremely quick her picture taking was so magical she only snapped 1 pic and my parents who have been separated and in other relationships for over 30 years it came out so nice they decided to put their petty differences aside and give it another go 10/10 would highly recommend

Stopped in Sunday afternoon for drinks and an appetizer. Strawberry daiquiri was very good, peach was just ok. Grouper bites were excellent!
