We had a great experience with Mari as our server. The food was delish as well the atmosphere. We will be back again soon

Updated 3 months after my first visit. Was super excited to bring another friend as we always go to AYCE. I feel like I overhyped this place this go around: The food didn’t taste as fresh as the first time and the presentation wasn’t as fancy. Our first server was nice and the other guy was a little rude, good cop bad cop? The end.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. This was our first, and last, time visiting the restaurant. We were both craving sushi and decided to try a new spot. We walked in and only saw three tables of patrons. The place was pretty empty. We were seated and after a few minutes our drink orders were taken. We checked out the menu and decided on what we wanted to eat. The waitress came back and asked for our orders. After giving her my order, she walked away and completely ignored the fact that my wife still had not ordered. The waitress did not return until she was bringing my food out. At this point, my wife finally put in her order. We split the food I had ordered until her order came out. We ordered quite a few different things and were FAR from impressed with what we received. Some of the food was never brought to the table, the food that was brought to the table lacked the sushi experience we had hoped for. Some of the items that were brought out weren't even what we ordered. I sat at the table with an empty drink cup for 85% of our visit. I was never offered a refill after finishing my drink while waiting on the first round of food to come out. The server that we had disappeared for quite a while and two other servers had to come and check on us. The only positive part of the visit was the desserts that we ordered. Everything else, was a major disappointment. Do not recommend and we will not be back.

I had an incredible dining experience, The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients really stood out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates excellent sushi and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Fish was low quality and not fresh, everything was insanely overpriced. All the 5 star reviews this place has must be bought.

I searched for sushi in town center and I was absolutely happy to find this place. Everything was a 10/10. I would highly recommend. Also, if you like delicious hand crafted drinks you should check this place out.

I ordered the Dragon roll, Gunga by Kingdom and my friends ordered the rest. I loved the tilapia bites! Food was good and atmosphere was decent. We went for the A La Carte menu but they have an all you can as well.

Pretty disappointing. Decided to go here on account of the overall rating. Not sure why they have such great reviews. The service was fine. Some utensils and cups were dirty...Husband got all you can eat sushi and it was okay. Definitely made ahead of time unless you got something cut up, which was fresh. I ordered chicken teriyaki which was probably just a PF Chang frozen dinner from Walmart. Our son got chicken rice and fries. Thought it would be at least fried rice but it looked like some minute microwave cooked jasmine rice with frozen fried chicken and French fries. Definitely not worth the price. Won't be back.

First time dining here, We had Mariana as our server and she made it an amazing experience all around. Highly recommend, ask for Mariana!

It was a lovely experience. Our waiter Rafael was so kind and knowledgeable. I was taken aback at first that owners and all the workers are all Brazilian... but quickly found out that the food was delicious (and may have been better that traditional American Japanese sushi) 😋 I enjoyed the chef maninho roll and the shrimp Kani. We also shared supreme temaki (which wad a huge portion). I look forward to coming back here in the future.

This restaurant was fantastic! Our waiter Rafael, was on the ball and gave us a great experience. We will be returning for sure! Sushi was excellent.

Don't really get the hype for this place. My boyfriend and I came and got the all you can eat sushi and a drink. We both really liked our drinks buuuuut the sushi was very meh. The all you can eat menu is very limited and way too many of them items have cream cheese in them. Also the ordering system is a pain and food takes a while to get. We were ready to go but still had 2 rolls and desert we were waiting on. While this place seems like a more upscale fuji sushi, the sushi just didn't do it for us. The staff and atmosphere were nice.

Went to all u can eat dinner, first of all its way too expensive for what you get. There is very little variety and too many rolls with cream cheese. The flavor is mediocre and doesnt taste very fresh. Not worth the money at all!

Definitely recommend getting the all you can eat bc you’re going to want everything on the menu! Service was efficient, friendly, and didn’t skip a beat! Overall a 10/10!

I feel really bad sharing this review because the people were quite nice. This has to be the worst sushi experience I've ever had... and for 3 of us the all you can eat was about $125 total. The options were cream cheese. This or cream cheese that. The sushi and ingredients seem to be low quality items. They brought out extra hot noodles, soggy and dry at the same time, Ramen. The little bowl of rice was visibly dried they still served it. We would've rather go to Publix AND save money. Everything was so cheap. I did find 2 items that were ok, but if you love sushi, you can tell the difference in quality. The desserts were like kids' meal items and not very good. The dessert items weren't cooked thru, the spring rolls mushi with no sauce, the salmon had a weird texture. I could keep going. So mad and how much money was wasted and nothing screamed "this is so good!" This place literally gets over on you. I saw other reviewers say don't order the all you can eat but not until after I started eating and looked back to see what the reviews said because they have a high rating and this place IS NOT IT! We left unsatisfied, unhappy, and disappointed. This all you can eat at this restaurant should've been a good $15, and if they did that, I still would pass because it's not meeting quality nor taste from even the most basic sushi restaurants. I believe there's some lies going on somewhere with these reviews.

I’m writing this review because both times I visited Kingdom Sushi, the waitress asked all customers to scan the QR code for a Google review. Here’s my honest experience. While the sushi rolls had decent taste, the portions were surprisingly small and definitely overpriced. After my first roll, I was still hungry and had to order a second. Even after spending $40 on sushi, I left the restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied. If I decide to return, I’ll probably go for the all-you-can-eat option to get more value for my money. However, considering my experience, I'm not hurrying to return. #sushi

Poor service terrible food and it tasted like absolute garbage and expensive for the taste of the food if you want unlimited sushi you have better chances going somewhere else

Out of the door we walk in, the place barely has 8 tables occupied, the host sat us right in the middle of the room, when we asked to be moved to another table (corner) she gave us a straight “No” as a response without further explanation. We sat down, order from the all you can eat menu, the food was amazing, really flavorful and very well presented but the service was very careless. Not welcoming at all. The waitresses were at the sushi bar corner most of the time just talking when 80% of the tables were dirty with plates and empty drinks. We had dirty plates at our table most of the time (1hr) we were there. I ask for a refill on my drink and it came 5-10 mins after i was already done eating. The food represented the price but for such price (almost $40 p/p) the service was awful. At the end, when we got ask how out experience was we explained our situation and the response was “Im sorry, most of our staff its new”. This situation its very sad because there’s plenty restaurants with good presentable foods in Jax but if the service its bad customers don’t come back. Paid $96 after tip and received a $20 experience of a low end restaurant. Won’t be coming back and definitely will recommend friends and family to stay away from this location. There’s plenty others restaurants in Jax to be spending money in this place.

Wow unbelievable. I spent $30 for a one roll and a soup and was still hungry after, i wasn’t even able to finish the 8 pieces in the roll because it fell apart, no wasabi no ginger, they include hot sauce? The soup which was $7 came in a medium coke cup and just was lukewarm water with onions floating on top, i literally had to throw down my drain. What an unbelievably disappointing experience, it was peak lunch time and I was the only single customer in the whole building. Prices are double here than any of sushi place, I have no idea how this place is surviving.

Good food, but expensive, for an all-you-can-eat meal I'll go twice to Fuji 3, or another Japanese all-you-can-eat. Faster, trained employees, better value for money. Employees a little forgotten 😅

My husband and I made a much anticipated first visit for lunch. Arrived just after opening and were the only customers. We were seated, our drinks were delivered, and then no service for about 10 minutes while the staff just stood around and visited amongst themselves by the sushi counter. No big deal - they had just opened for the day and we were not in a hurry. Another 5 minutes passed, another couple arrived, were seated right next us, and in less than 2 minutes they had their drinks and were placing their order. Meanwhile we’re still sitting there with no server in sight. Left and will not be back. As we were leaving, the lady at the door had the nerve to wish us a good day, but not concerned as to why we were leaving without actually having lunch. Would NOT recommend. Worst (non) service ever received in any restaurant. Would leave zero stars, but am forced to leave at least one to post.

Very delicious and beautiful dishes here, everything is high quality! Unique fusion of Brazilian and Japanese, we really enjoyed it. Our server Rafael was very kind and attentive, highly recommend Kingdom Sushi.

The service and atmosphere outshine the food. Rafaer was very attentive. The fish was tasty but too many times had cream cheese. I prefer more traditional sushi. The creativity in desserts is nice, I recommend the Romeo and Juliet roll and Nutella roll.

Top-notch service from Rafael who patiently explained ingredients and preparation of each dish on the menu. We will definitely return.

I love sushi and have some favorite spots so when trying this new one i wasn’t really impressed but it wasn’t a bad experience. The food was overcooked but it came with great pizazz lol. The dragon roll should def be ordered if you visit for the smoke effects; it was really cool. The service was great too.

Took mommy for a mother-daughter lunch Friday afternoon. We had the “All you can eat”, and we were able to taste a variety of pieces. The sake “caipisake” drink is to die for. Mari is a a great server, she walked us though the menu and made great suggestions!! I highly recommend!!

Service is great, you need to be a doctor or a lawyer to afford this place. Never heard of a place charging to much money for all you can eat, then they want to charge you a dollar for every piece of food left on your plate. This place will not be in business very long, I’m surprised people go here to eat when there are a lot of smaller businesses that serve the same food and definitely cheaper.

A Delightful Experience at Kingdom Sushi My recent visit to Kingdom Sushi was excellent. This Brazilian-Japanese fusion restaurant created a memorable dining experience with its unique menu and attentive service. Service: The wait staff were very attentive, especially Mariana, who was friendly and professional. She guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and made sure we had a great dining experience. Food: Kingdom Sushi offers an exciting mix of Brazilian and Japanese cuisines. The salmon cappuccio was a perfect blend of fresh salmon with a hint of Brazilian flavor. The temaki with passion fruit cream was another highlight, combining flavors in a way that was both surprising and delicious.

I don’t think there’s a place like Kingdom here in Jacksonville. Hands down, best sushi I’ve ever had and I’m from Hawaii. If it doesn’t taste like the ocean, it ain’t good sushi/sashimi. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not a sushi lover but to get out of the routine I decided to have their real sushi for lunch, and I had a good experience, the variety of flavors and the dishes they offer are very good, and their cocktails are great. As for the excellent service, on this occasion Bruna helped me. She speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese, she is very friendly 🤓. So 10 out of 10 recommended.

Came in here for a late lunch and got the All You Can Eat. Definitely worth the price the amount of food consumed. Very friendly staff and tasty cuisine.

This place will not disappoint. White fish tuna is the best. Very sweet and doesn't even taste like fish/tuna. We tried their Buffet during lunch for $35.99. It was well worth it.
