I didnt stay here, but spent some time around the grounds and in the lobby. This hotel is fairly new, about 3 years old. Very well up kept. The lobby is set up for more of a gathering place than a lobby. So if you like that sort of thing, you'll like it. The reception desk is smaller than I was anticipating and directly off the the left as you walk in. Not a big deal to me. The grounds has a small sculpture garden with approximately 10-12 pieces of art. Nice shaded area to walk around to stretch your legs. Room rates were comparable to many other hotels in the area. There is a small "city" with in walking distance that has many restaurants and pubs. Even an ice cream shop and salon/barbershop.

Such a beautiful property. Service and restaurants options were great. Food was flavorful and presented well. The pool area was my favorite and the staff was attentive.

My dog and I had a great time staying at Wave. Super easy to get around, parking was stress-free, valet guys were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was quiet and the garden was a great place for me to walk my dog. The room was fantastic, spacious and I really enjoyed the fancy bidet haha. Despite the lobby being lively and loud at night, the rooms are very quiet. I tried our Bacan and wow the food was amazing. Everything exceeded my expectations honestly. Loved it, would def come back if I come back to Orlando

I stayed here for 2 nights prior to a cruise with my two adultish children. This is the most comfortable room I’ve ever stayed in. The beds are perfect with incredibly soft pillows. Parking is free which is a nice change of pace in Orlando. It’s convenient to the airport with an upbeat town center nearby. The staff was extremely helpful— I seemed to have had a lot of questions this trip. I stopped by the pool and it looked nice. Probably more for adults. Tv had plenty of entertainment options. Hope this helps.

It is located close to great eateries. The Sculpture Center is located behind Wave Hotel. I didn't stay here, but I was able to walk thru the hotel s lobby. Very nice

I love the Wave hotel! I was in town for business and stayed at the Wave for a full week. The hotel and the grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are phenomenal with elegantly integrated tech that made for a truly luxurious experience. I could go on and on– the food, the decor and design, even the elevators are beautiful! But above all, the staff was above and beyond. I was blown away by how everyone I encountered was polite, helpful, friendly, and so thoughtful! Extra special shoutout to Andres at valet for both being great at his job but also for being an incredible person. This is the bar that I will forever measure hospitality against. Thanks Wave hotel for letting me call you home for a week. I was sad to leave and can’t wait to come back 😊

I booked this hotel last minute for my bday and I am soooooooo happy. I am really fussy about hotels and this exceeded expectations from the warm welcome at the concierge to the receptionist and guest services manager who greeted me upon check in. I had mentioned it was my birthday when booking it and was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room. It really made my day. The room is beautiful and futurist!!! The hotel is beautiful!!! Well decorated. Very clean! Heated toilet seats! All the staff were extremely pleasant. I didn’t catch everyone’s name but Kialani really stood out. Exceptional service at the pool. I cancelled my itinerary on the first night just to relax and spend time at this hotel. Lovely!

One of the nicest and unique hotels! I love all the technology and smart features built in! I have done a staycation here multiple times. The decor is so unique and fun and the on-site dining and garden are amazing!

I had a bad experience at the entrance to the hotel. I didn't bring my physical card and in this hotel they have disabled Apple Pay, which we don't know about because that payment method is allowed in most hotels in the United States!!! The manager showed no intention of helping…wouldn't go back in any way

I wanted to come to relax and I found myself with service personnel who do not collaborate with that, they show zero interest in solving any problem that arises…

Spacious Hotel. Great modern decor and restaurant.

Stayed at the wave hotel lake nona in a king suite over looking pool 15th floor. Beautiful hotel with great service. As you can see from pics the suite is the way to go if you dont mind the $454 per night. We ordered room service breakfast and it was really good. We went to the pool and as ypu can see they have an amazing pool. We also went to the bar and fri sat it is really busy but they make great drinks. Even though they are close to airport I feel they went a long ways to sound proof rooms as the planes did not bother me and i am ultra picky. Also even though they have free parking garage i suggest you use valet. The valet guys were professional courteous and did a great job of bringing car around quickly. Management and front desk is also courteous professional and did everything possible to please me. We cant wait to go back to this hotel!!

Very, very nice hotel. Great decor plus great staff. The hotel is truly a 5+, the menu could be a bit more eclectic. I would go back in a mi nute.

We stay here over any other hotel in Orlando. It's about 30-35min from anywhere whether you go to Disney or Downtown Orlando. Rooms are great, facilities are good, breakfast is good, easy parking and valet. There is some local options for food, shopping, etc too.

The HOTEL looks awesome the rooms are stylish & service is a ZERO & the need to go to schoool on etiquette...UNREAL...

I went on a trip to take friends who were visiting Orlando and I wanted them to see these beautiful architecture and art.

I didn’t even stay here I just asked that they hold my bag for me while I was in the area and waiting to catch a late flight. They were so kind and attentive. I know where I’ll be staying the next time I’m in Orlando! 10/10 service.

Came by just for breakfast and the view here was just amazing. Live jazz nice vibes. I will definitely come back again.

We arrived into Orlando Airport and wanted a meeting place to have lunch with our son, this came up on our check out. Fantastic hotel just beside the airport. Design is excellent, funky and fun, classic yet modern, loved everything about it. We ate upstairs in the restaurant beside the pool, designer all the way. Food was good but a little limited. Would definitely says yes to anyone who wants to stay here.

A great place to hang out with such an aesthetically pleasing environment

A high-tech hotel in a great area. Lake Nona Wave Hotel is one exit down SR 417 from the airport. In keeping with the near ubiquitous art installations around the Lake Nona development, you are greeted at the front desk by friendly staff at the front desk as you stand under a moving light display (see attached videos). Colors are vibrant throughout the hotel. The rooms have high-tech windows that change depending on the sun. I have attached several pics and videos of my room (910), which had a Nespresso coffee maker, a very spacious shower and separate commode room (with a Toto washlet toilet), and a large bedroom area. Towels were nice quality. The bed was soft but still very comfortable. An app controls every electronic feature in the room except the coffee maker. It worked well. Was there for a meeting, and the meeting room was great. We had an espresso/cappuccino/etc. coffee maker in our room. Good was good, but not great for our group's lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful. At one point, my air conditioner stopped cooling. They addressed it quickly, and it was fixed. You can text the staff, and they respond rapidly. The area is great for walking. Art installations everywhere. There is a gym in the hotel, but you have access to a larger one that offers massages a block away. If you like Starbucks, you can walk to one in the development... not more than a 7 minute or so walk at a leisurely pace. I will definitely go back.

All I could say is, this place is amazing. A beautiful "Alice and Wonderland" type of atmosphere

Love this hotel. I've been here twice, and the staff are nice and very helpful. Rooms are big, bed is comfortable. There is some airport noise with planes going by so if your a light sleeper may want to bring some ear plugs. The restaurant Haven had excellent food good spot for lunch ate there twice. It is very fresh and has good quality food but a limited menu. The spa is not connect to the hotel. I had a massage next door at the sports center which was a great massage, but ambience is rather bare and they could of given me a tour first of the spa facilities and a welcome infused water. They need to step it up if they want to call it a spa. If you're going to go work out, that's great!

Terrific experience as always. The Lake Nona health and wellness community is fantastic and I enjoy visiting annually for their Impact conference.

Very solid. Quite expensive. Rooms have great accommodations, everything is at your fingertips from room service to closing the blinds. You can sit back and relax on the bed with unlimited comfort. Services are quite well, my “wave” app let me order everything from food to a firmer pillow to my room. However the service took over an hour (not ideal for a sleep time kind of service) Food in internal restaurants were great, particularly small portions but high quality Would come again, probably not full price, but would come for a marginal discount as there often is.

Location is a bit off but this place was worth very penny for 360 a night. I will start by saying certain things cost alot and certain things do not. Getting a way for a night with your significant other is highly recommended here. This hotel has high end tech that warrants the price tag. We purchased a middle package room that was very good. If you like tablet remotes, automatic toilets, and designer end furniture stay here do not look any further. Won't regret this place.

Needs major improvement..first on training the employees to be more friendly and second cleaning. Found dirty water glasses at H restaurant when I was sitting for breakfast. Found a broken chair Found a broken table which the waiter had to put paper towels to keep it straight..disappointed

Stayed here for my anniversary and it was the best!!! I really can’t wait to go back. It gave me Miami vibes . Totally felt I wasn’t in orlando. Our room had an expresso machine and very high tech equipment. Bars and restaurants are amazing. Also very easy self parking.

The Hotel lobby is artistic, inviting with great style. The courtyard is lovey and peaceful and the restaurant options are great. Brunch on the top floor was delicious with fun ambiance and live music.

We just went to see the art. It was beautious.

I used the Hotel Website to make a reservation. Selected my dates and booked everything. We were set for Saturday night 1 night stay. Arrived at the hotel. The front desk lady who seemed to be a supervisor looked up our reservation but could not find it. Upon further investigation we learned that the website had reverted back to the night I made the reservation and we were considered a no show and would not be refunded and we would not be credited toward that new night. The front desk clerk, who still seemed clueless on how to operate the computer and had to ask employees underneath her, said she would try and get us a better rate but that the room we had selected was unavailable. I quickly check their website which showed it still available but overheard another clerk say the same thing to a different customer so believed that this was the truth. We booked a new room and she charged my credit card. Upon seeing the new total I stated that if I book online right now its almost 200 dollars cheaper. The "supervisor" seemed confused by this when the subordinate employee stated that the rate we paid was the walk up rate. The supervisor stated their was nothing she could do that and I needed to talk to a manager. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one was not available. I was instead told to email the reservations email and that someone would contact with within 24 hours. i emailed the email address and received a generic response that "Hello Mr. --------, I apologize to hear you have had such challenges to be able to stay with us. I have forwarded your request to our Front Office Manager, and he will be getting back in touch with you. He is currently gone for the day however, I did forward this to him. Best Wishes," However have not heard from anyone in over a week even after sending a follow up email. While there were other issues at this most "technological" Hotel over the lack of being able to speak to a supervisor and follow up is the reason for this review.

This place is the best Hotel we have ever stayed at, and like others I didn't really want to tell others because of how incredible the whole experience was. From getting to charge my car for free at the Tesla charger, to the heated toilets, the incredible in room lighting, using the Lake Nona Performance Club...it was all amazing. I know my wife was tired of me hollering at her, saying "look you wave your hand in the closet and the light turns on", "hey I just ordered more Nespresso coffee from my phone!", "the windows tint based on the sun location!" We watched the sunrise from our huge balcony in the suite, then poured a bath in the giant freestanding tube under relaxed lighting. Incredible Luxury!

Was nice but for the money I spent , gaylord was cheaper and much nicer of a stay even west gate resort was a better option. No hot tubs only 1 pool. I even called and asked before the stay lady said yes we have a hot tub , Will never stay here again.

Awful service at the bar during transition problem is that bar was empty and the staff seemed annoyed that we were there to drink

for a hotel called the wave, there should be some art in there that depict waves. I tried to speak to the front desk about it, because I know an artist who does photography of waves, and they didn’t even know who to refer me to. Too bad.

This hotel is nuts, coined the most technologically advanced hotel in the world. I didn’t satay. I only had a business dinner at Bacan (Latin American), one of the hotel’s four restaurants. The hotel is covered in View Glass with AI-driven tint adjustments that changes tint throughout the day, offering a better circadian rhythm leading to better sleep. Equipped with smart beds, each guest can control the firmness and temperature of their bed. You can even set an alarm on the bed that will gently rock you awake in the morning. The lobby is technology forward with a huge wall adorned with over 300 modern and contemporary art pieces. Will definitely stay out here when convenient.

It would make a great place for a wedding or a romantic weekend. Loved the sculpture garden.

Ive been to both the Haven and Bacan a few times, and countless times at the Living Room already. So far Im very happy with all of the food, vibe, and drinks. I cannot overstate how well decorated The Wave is, and the outdoor palm garden/sculpture gallery is something worth seeing as well. It has easily become one of my favorite places to hang out, eat, and drink.

This is a fantastic hotel in a quaint local neighborhood! Somehow it has all the amenities of a high end Vegas hotel, but in Orlando. The restaurants and other features were very impressive! I will 100% make another trip just to stay here!

Bellissimo albergo nel area di Orlando. Camere molto grandi e colorate. L’albergo è abbastanza nuovo e la tecnologia è molto avanzata. Si può gestire tutto tramite l’ipad presente nelle camere. La palestra del albergo al terzo piano è fornita di tutto quello che serve per allenarsi in più viene data la possibilità di accedere ad un centro fitness vicino al albergo con piscine, pista indoor e vari corsi. Unica pecca che essendo vicino al aeroporto gli aerei passano sopra creando rumore ma le camere sono insonorizzate bene e non da fastidio.

This hotel is very nice with welcoming staff and great food, in-room dining was excellent- and delicious. And the views from high-floors are incredible also the pool was great.

Great place in a middle of nowhere. Besides that small area of restaurants near it (was there for my son’s Lacrosse tournament), you have cows and other farm animals around you. Looks like a Miami hotel….I think it’s supposed to be built in Miami but somebody got confused.

I walked over to this hotel for dinner. Staff was friendly and helpful. I love the decor of this hotel. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in the area.

I can't speak about the rooms but I plan to visit Orlando next year and stay here. We went to the sculpture gardens on the last day of our vacation. I wish we had known of this hotel before our trip. The lobby was stunning and the staff was welcoming as we entered and walked through the lobby. The sculpture garden is stunning.

I had the chance to stay at the Wave Hotel in Lake Nona for a business trip. I really enjoyed my stay. I liked that you only have access to the floor you are staying on, besides the main lobby and floor 2 with the restaurant and pool. I liked that you can control your room from the iPad and it’s very tech driven space. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel had great decor and some restaurants which makes for easy dining experience.

Stayed here for work and really liked this hotel. Phenomenal restaurants, lobby bar (fantastic bourbon and whiskey selection 😎), and conference center. The technology around the whole place is pretty great and the staff was outstandingly pleasant and always helpful and attentive. My only gripe is that room service ends at 9:30pm on weekdays which I felt was pretty early - add to this the fact that the hotel doesn’t have any vending machines (that I know of) so if you get late night munchies there isn’t much else apart from DoorDash… Overall great place!!

A gem of a hotel amidst a literal sea of hotels. In a city brimming with hospitality brands and properties, it can be hard to find a place that feels unique and isn’t also attached to a theme park. Wave is none of the things you’d associate with an Orlando hotel. It’s clean, modern, and has its own personality. There are excellent restaurants, great views of landing and departing planes, and one of the coolest sculpture gardens outside of Europe. It’s a real treat to visit this place.

The best customer service I’ve ever had. Maggie is the best desk agent I have ever encountered, during tribulation this woman saved me. Just know that Maggie has your best intention in mind and will help you in an emergency if needed. I was skeptical if this resort until I met her, she left me in happy tears after she called my Ubers phone 10 times for me to help me get my phone back. Could not get better service. This amazing woman deserves a raise and promotion. I did not deserve her.

JC Harris was phenomenal. Great waitress. Recommended phenomenal things on the menu. Hospitality was 5/5. Will come here again.

Haven restaurant is simply not good…a $26 burger should be amazing…I’ve had better burger at five guys!

I like this Hotel, it has beautiful art to see soon as you step foot in the doors. They also have great music up stairs to dance to, or just drink a great drink too. But I must say its a bit pricey...but I still had a good time. Definitely would go back!

We had a great experience. I had to go on a cruise vacation with my family, so we decided to try something different from the routine Marriot or Hilton group hotels that we usually use. After reading online reviews, I booked a reservation for a one night stay. Every single staff member at this hotel went above and beyond, starting from valet parking to front desk staff to Bacan restaurant staff. Claire was particularly very helpful at Bacan restaurant. The hotel is beautiful, our room was large with lots of natural light. The architecture was great with marble walls, lightning was awesome, curtains were controlled with a switch, pillows and beddings were very soft, and the toto toilet was at another level. Overall experience was great!

The hotel was very beautiful. We just went for dinner at Haven and it was delicious! They also had live music down stairs. I absolutely recommend checking this hotel out.

Close to Lake Nona, not close to theme parks. Modern stylish design, multiple nice restaurants. Fun bathrooms in the hotel rooms. Two downsides: drinks and food are expensive and hard to make the room dark for sleeping.
