Food was delicious. Service could use improvement. I asked for a papaya salad with sauce on the side and server would not even ask kitchen if it was possible. I wanted to share the salad but server said otherwise was t possible. We were a party of 3. Ordered a lot of food, most came out together or close to each other except my fathers main course. My dad actually had to leave. When his food arrived we told runner to please return as it was too late. Later the server returned and told us she had told us food came out as it was made not at same time. She said she packed it to go! Very odd service attitude.

We went as a group of 4 people with a kid. We had to wait 45 minutes for the table but there is a waiting area inside while it was raining. The foods were amazing, especially papaya salad. The foods tasted authentic like you got it from Thailand. I’m Thai and I love how authentic it was. The price is so good. The portion is Thai portion. Please do not be surprised. You can try lots of different dishes. I would recommended if you want to taste the real Thai E-san food, you should go check this out. Don’t coconut milk ice cream, taste so good

A friend recommended this traditional Thai restaurant in FLL, which has swiftly gained an excellent reputation and loyal following. During my visit on a rainy day, the restaurant was full, a common occurrence, the server said, due to its consistent popularity over four months, with heightened demand on weekends. The restaurant offers authentic Northeastern Thai cuisine, distinguished by refined flavors and impressive decor. For authentic Thai dining, I highly recommend this establishment, advising those with spice sensitivities to inform their server, as the cuisine features intense Thai seasonings and chilies. With dietary accommodations, diners can enjoy the outstanding culinary experience and service that left me impressed and eager to return.

I don't think I have to say much about this establishment. Just visiting the restaurant and witnessing the wait time, the bustling dining area and the aromas will tell someone everything they need to know. Oh..and wait till you actually bless your taste buds with the first bite!! I am definitely a Thai food fanatic, and Larb Thai-Isan is by far the most authentic and tastiest Thai restaurant in Broward County, if not the entire South Florida metro area. Ever since I discovered this gem, there's no turning back. Nothing compares!

We have been here quite a few times; however, we will not be back after the last time. Just like every other time, we ordered two chicken pad thais. When I got my plate, I noticed the chicken portion was significantly less than usual, enough for me to notice. When I raised it to one of the servers, she said they give everyone the same portion, but what may have happened is they made my husband's portion and my portion together, and he must have gotten my portion of chicken. Instead of just remaking mine, she took both our plates and had them redistribute the food. She was extremely rude and did not handle it well. I should have just left and went somewhere else. After that, we waited for our check, and we were totally ignored. I am not saying the customer is always right, but it's important how the servers handle situations, especially when someone is questioning the quality of the food. As regulars, we will NOT be back.

This is my go-to spot for Thai food, and honestly, the only Thai place in South Florida worth the drive. They have an extensive menu with authentic Thai dishes, and the flavors are always on point. Be warned though—their spice levels can be intense, so if you’re not into super spicy food, make sure to let them know ahead of time. What keeps me coming back is the consistency in food quality and the amazing customer service. The servers are super helpful and kind, always willing to explain the menu or recommend dishes, especially if it’s your first time trying something new. It’s a spot I highly recommend if you’re craving flavorful Thai cuisine with excellent service.

Today, my husband and I were made to feel totally unwelcomed! Racism was on full display!!! We were first to arrive at the restaurant and waited 30 minutes until opening. I convinced my husband to check out this restaurant due to the hype on Instagram. What a mistake!!!! Upon opening, we were seated along with the Asians and caucasian customers. However, we were totally ignored by ALL of the servers who proceeded to place water, plates and utensils at the other tables occupied by the Asians and caucasians. In fact, ALL the servers walked right past our table to do so. The servers then took the orders from the other customers, while we were ignored. When I showed my irritation, we were offered water (no plates or utensils). It was obvious we were not appreciated or welcomed there. So we left!!!! If it is the intent of the owner and/or manager to dissuade non-Asian and non-caucasian customers from going to your restaurant, then your servers are definitely following that script. How sad!!! Suffice it to say…we left!!! Why spend money at a restaurant where you’re not wanted. We went to the Cubano’s Restaurant, a wonderful, welcoming place where the food was AWESOME!!!

I'm impressed! the food was delicious 😋 had the curry duck to share and drunken noodles. I'd reorder them. Loved the Thai tea too. Some places make it too sweet, this one was perfect. It might be a bit of a drive from Kendall but it's worth it. I like starting with an order of chicken wings or the TomKai soup with Shrimp. Then I for my main course I get the pork krow paw or the rest curry chicken or beef depending how I'm feeling. For dessert you definitely need to get the mango sticky rice.

We ate here today and have to say the food was delicious, BUT the service was NON EXISTENT. We sat outside cause they had a lot of people waiting for inside tables. The woman who sat us took our order right away. We did have a short wait and time to read the menu. We ordered the papaya salad and duck salad to start. I got the Khao Soi, my mom the lettuce cups and husband the duck curry as mains. Someone came and brought us water. Almost immediately, my Khao Soi came out. No salads, no other food. About 5 mins later, the duck salad showed up. 10 mins later, the lettuce cups and curry. That was the end of our service. No one came back to check on us, ask if we needed more water, which we did especially because it was hot outside. For at least 45 mins not one person stopped at our table to check on us. Meanwhile, the staff seemed to know a guy that was seated at another table outside. The staff kept coming out very quickly and checked on him and brought him things but would run away before we could get their attention. Or maybe that was on purpose. There were 2 other tables seated outside as well, and we noticed no one checking with them either. When we were almost completely finished with our food the papaya salad came out. We thought it was forgotten. It was dropped, and they ran off again! Finally we got a female staffs attention for some water and needed a to go container. Someone brought more water but no container. After waiting at least another 15 mins, no one came back. Forget dessert. So we had to go inside and ask for a container and the bill. I am so disappointed because the reviews of the service are the opposite of what our experience was. If they didn't have enough staff to wait on us then they shouldn't have seated us. We would have just waited for an inside table. Not sure yet if we will give it another try.

Food was delicious! When they tell you the “hot” may be too much you should probably listen to them! Got the pad tai hot and it was delicious, but definitely would have perfect if it was medium (personally). Green curry was so flavorful and filling. Huge portions! Service was fast, ordered take out there and was told the wait would be 30 minutes, only could have been waiting 15 minutes max before they brought it out.

I visited Larb with my sisters, excited to try it out after seeing a TikTok video. Unfortunately, that excitement faded quickly. Upon entering, I was immediately approached by the cashier/waiter, who aggressively accused me of recording the kitchen—something I wasn’t even doing. From where I was standing, I couldn’t see the kitchen, so I’m left wondering, what are they hiding back there? There was no sign prohibiting recording, and the rude approach left a bad taste before we even sat down. Sadly, the food didn’t make up for the poor service. The Thai coffee was a 1/10—tasted like old brew with milk, not at all what I expected as a coffee lover. The wings were okay but not worth the price: $8 for just two wings, I’d rate them a 4/10. The duck salad got a 3/10, and the crab fried rice was flavorless, earning a 1/10. The pad see ew? Overcooked, bland noodles—a disappointing 1/10. Being from Miami, we drove 40 minutes to support the business, but it was definitely not worth the trip. I’ll stick with Lung Yai as my go-to Thai restaurant. Overall, a very disappointing experience that I wouldn’t recommend.

I should’ve known this place was going to be a disappointment the moment the hostess demanded—yes, demanded—my sister to put her phone away, without even asking politely. That set the tone for what turned out to be an underwhelming experience. The food was utterly bland and lacked the vibrant flavors you’d expect from authentic Thai cuisine. If they want to create an immersive experience, they need to step up their game and make it feel like we’re actually in Thailand—not some commercialized version of it. We came here because of the hype on TikTok, but let me tell you, TikTok lied—or the people raving about this place must be flavor-blind. Authentic Thai food is supposed to burst with flavor and culture, but what we got was a poor imitation. We started with the Duck Salad and Chicken Wings. We specifically asked for the Duck Salad to be a little spicy, but instead, it was just overwhelmingly salty. The chicken wings were double fried but completely devoid of flavor. Then came the Pad See Ew Beef—what a letdown. The noodles were overcooked, the beef was subpar, and the entire dish lacked any punch. But the biggest disappointment was the Crab Fried Rice. There was barely any crab, just a lot of rice and eggs with no real flavor. I’d generously give this spot a 2 out of 10, and that’s only because I have to put a score on it. If you’re after authentic, culturally rich Thai cuisine, save yourself the trouble and head to Miami instead.

Visited this restaurant twice with friends we love the food and atmosphere, it takes a while to get seated if you have a big party plus your meals don’t come out all at once, but non of those things matter to us because the food is being freshly made so we understand that everything will not be out at the same time compared to eating at chain restaurants where most of your food is frozen. If you love Thai food it’s worth giving it a try, bring your patience and understand you will have a wait especially if your party is big. I plan to go back so I can try most of the menu.

This place seems to have a big following and people on social media say this place it the best so I went with my girlfriend. The place was full and we waited for a table for about 20 minutes which was a good sign. The inside of the restaurant was very hot and they had a big box fan set up in the back of the dining room by the restrooms. We were seated at a very tiny table for 2 and waited another ten minutes before the waitress came and asked what we wanted to eat. I expected her to ask what we wanted to drink, but she didn't so we ordered Thai beer and the food as well since we had lots of time to study the menu. She seemed nice and warned us not to order anything too spicy because we wouldn't be able to send it back. This was fine. I understand it must happen a lot. We ordered everything hot. She also said that it will come out when it is ready and in no particular order. The appetizer came out fairly fast. It was spicy enough for my liking. Then my entree came out about a half hour after we finished the appetizer. There was no spice at all and it tasted too sweet. I ended up finishing up my meal before my girlfriend's entree came out twenty minutes after mine. She said her food was okay. At this point I had quite a stack of plates in front of me because at no time did they clear any of the dirty ones throughout the entire meal. I also ordered two more beers and the empties were still on the table until the very end. I got the check after having been there for an hour and a half. Most of that time was spent waiting for the food to come out. That makes me realize why there is a long wait to get a table. Overall, we agreed we will continue our search for a better Thai restaurant. Later on in the evening my girlfriend became sick and vomited. She had stomach issues the next day as well. I figured I must have had a bad experience because of all the good reviews and then I looked for the bad ones and I saw that they were on dirty dining and ordered shut in October of 2023. Not a good sign.

I have been eating dishes from Thailand since 1970. However, I have never eaten anything from Northern Thailand and I never will eat it again and my wife disliked all 3 dishes, including the worst tasting Pad Thai. She also has also decided she will never go to a restaurant for Northern Thailand food. We arrived at noon and we were told they ran out of several ingredients as well as noodles. If you like traditional food from Thailand, don’t go to this restaurant you will be disappointed. Moreover, the parking was impossible at this time.

In August 2024, seven of us dined at Larb Thai-Isan in Fort Lauderdale. Despite the packed restaurant and a 30-minute wait, the food arrived quickly. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, starting with crispy fried calamari and aromatic grilled chicken skewers. The fried spring rolls were a hit, while the lettuce wraps had a savory mushroom and pork filling. The green papaya salad was solid, but the tom yum soup stood out with its bold, sour, and spicy flavors. The Larb with minced pork had a surprising liver flavor, and the crab fried rice was packed with wok hei. The Khao soi had crispy noodles and a rich broth, while the drunken noodles, fragrant with Thai basil, reminded us of Cantonese chow fun. The Pad Thai was sweeter and less remarkable, but the pineapple fried rice’s curry aroma won us over. The red curry was the favorite, and the salty Kra Pao with minced pork pleased those who love bold flavors. We ended with mango sticky rice, a perfect sweet finale. After tip, each of us paid $47, leaving completely satisfied.

I unfortunately did not have a great experience at this place. The service was horrible, I had to remind our waitress that we ordered drinks, we were never checked in on to see if we needed anything else, and the service took so long even though the restaurant was only half full. Another confusing thing was that they were out of a lot of things from the menu. They had a whiteboard with about 10 different menu items that they were out of, even coke Soda, which I found odd. I was also very disappointed in the food as well and couldn't even finish it. I got the drunken noodles, and it tasted like black licorice. My husband got the chicken pad thai and it was so bland. So disappointed in the whole experience from start to finish.

I agree with other guest review this is over hyped by social influencer. To be fair, I'm not an expert of thia food. I do eat a good amount of southeast Asian food, cooked by friends I know. Usually the food I crave has automatic flavor and complex blend of many herbs. This completely lack that. With a long line sitting in the sun, very crowded atmosphere. Very chaotic atmosphere. Several times the wrong food came to us that was going to a different table. We had to ask several servers for refill on drinks that very slowly came. I'm Asain myself and have lived in Asian, I found some of the servers very difficult to communicate with, and short tempered when I was having difficulty understanding them. I generally do not do negative reviews, but the difference between the social influences and my experiences was completely opposite, and I feel compelled to review this as I experienced it. Spring rolls were OK actually, 3 small spring rolls for $5, I would do that again probably need two orders to satisfy my appetite for appetizer. We ordered the crab fried rice, which was decent I would eat this again without the rest of my experience. Drunken noodles was just OK, pad thai and that completely was bland, arguably the worst pad Thai I have had in florida. My mango sticky rice had very good rice, but the sauce was condensed milk, was slightly bitter, this dish is better with a higher quality sweet condensed milk with a touch of vanilla extract added.. generally my preferred south east Asian food would have lots of fresh herbs, and aromatic seasoning that take hours to prepare correctly. I would have no problem waiting an hour for that nor my bill for $140 with tip for the three of us. I know better places in florida dishes that are closer to what I was hoping this was, places that are less expensive, larger portions and no 1 hr waiting in sun outside. And no crazy chaotic atmosphere where I feel like someone is going to spill a dish on me. I'm not sure I would return. If I was driving by and there was zero line I would consider a second try perhaps with lower expectations..I also agree, south Florida needs an authentic south east Asian restaurant. Also last point I'll point out. Larb is a raw dish with meat, green onions, garlic, fish sauce, several different spicy peppers, cilantro. Lemon, and lime. The raw meat portion can be fish, beef, pork or other. This dish is dangerous to eat raw. Any fish even saltwater needs to be frozen for 1 week before it's safe to consume. Natives that consume raw larb that is not safely processed have high numbers of all sorts of internal parasites. Parasites that can increase chances of liver and kidney problems, gout, and some cancers. I was actually hoping they had a larb menu which I didn't notice. But I might have missed in the chaotic atmosphere

Larb Thai-isan in Ft. Lauderdale for an unforgettable culinary journey! The pineapple fried rice was a symphony of flavors – sweet, savory, and downright awesome. The red curry took my taste buds on a delightful adventure; it was amazingly good. Now, let's talk about the beef jerky and moo ping – they were nothing short of "to die for," a perfect blend of tenderness and spices. Larb Thai-isan, you've won my heart with your exceptional food and drink. Highly recommended for an authentic and delectable Thai dining experience! P.S save room for the mango sticky rice. you're welcome in advance. I was in food heaven and forgot to take pictures. Sorry, it was that good!!!

This thai is northern spec. If that's your thing, it's probably worth the wait. For the rest of us who are not that familiar with regional Thai food, there are much better restaurants around that don't have the wait. Not worth it in my opinion.

Food looked way better than the taste. Everything was super underwhelming. The influencers hype it… I would have rated a 2 star based on food but the servers were so rude. We brought in a happy meal for our 4 year old because he obviously doesn’t eat Thai food. It wasn’t a problem until after we placed our order that the manager came over and said you need to take that food out of here. My wife explained that we wanted to try their establishment but we needed to feed our son something and a little happy meal wasn’t hurting anyone. He said “we have a sign that says no outside food!” My wife said where is the sign? There was no sign because he walked away. They were being so rude and we ordered over $100 worth of food… It ruined our meal. Obviously where these people come from they don’t understand etiquette or hospitality because it’s a very rural country. I feel for them and their culture. Won’t be back

OMG! I literally started crying of happiness when I entered the restaurant! I was in Thailand for moments... I become emotionally happy of the logging I felt of Thailand!! Undoubtedly my number 1 thai restaurant so far and I reviewed a phew of them! After waiting for about an hour to be seated (I did not mind the waiting), the food was fast served, and the flavors once again transported me back to the Reign of Thailand and once again I was emotionally crying of happiness!! The special fried rice was absolutely delicious, and the signature Larb salad is just 100% authentic, trust me I know this salad very well! I just have to say it's like being there once again... Back in THAILAND!!

Excuse me. I'm a Thai person who comes to eat here. I would like to say that your food is very delicious. We have come here with family many times. And today is the day that we feel very disappointed with your service. We come to eat and pay!!!! Not here to ask!!! Smiling, you can ask nicely and our husband talks nicely, but you show annoyance. We are Thai people. We can tell. Order must be asked. Is there anyone coming to take the order? There were people walking by 10 times and no one asked. Until I had to ask myself if I was ready, would there be someone to take the order? After receiving the order We waited for food for about 1 hour. The food comes one at a time, which comes as a family. Another person ate until it was all gone. But the other person hasn't come yet, which is???? Finally, I asked if my husband hadn't eaten yet. Is????I understand that you're busy!! But there is no equality - care. Thai people do not have it. Don't look at Bluely among yourself. Thank you ##Sorry, I am Thai and came to eat here. The food was pretty good. We first came in and sat down for about 2 min and the waiter name AOR rushed us. She didn’t ask for our spice level and she said “next” several times to get our order from each of our family member. She said next and then next half a second later really loud not giving us time to put our order in. We literally sat down for two mins to look at our menu. It was our first time there and we saw it on instagram and was excited to try the food out. All of our food was not spicy and we learned later on our receipt that all of our plates were labeled “not spicy”. Thai food and us being Asian we wanted our Thai food to have a little heat. We tip her and she asked us if we can tip her more. I would gladly tip more if it was well deserved. I looked at other tables if there were a reason why she is rushing us. There were a few tables empty, no one waiting except for us, and some people were done eating and just looking at their phones . So there was not a legitimate reason for why she had to be rude and loudly saying next to get our order. Other waitresses and waiter were really nice and friendly, the food was seasoned well, and the atmosphere was cute.

This restaurant is one of the most Thai authentic food I have found. There are many varieties of food and dessert that you can choose beside Pad thai and Mango sticky rice. I went here with my friends. We ordered a lot of food but the price is affordable. My favorite food is Bamboo shoot with pork and coconut ice-cream. The server is very friendly too. Im a regular at Larb, thanks to the misleading post from the tiktoker about the wrong type of coffee. They don’t sell Vietnamese coffee. Larb is a thai restaurant, they only sell thai coffee and thai tea. Due to the tiktok post, it makes our wait longer that it used to. A usual wait before the tiktok post is already took 30-40minutes during their peak times. Now it just create more angry customer because they have to wait so longer. Please check what the actual restaurant have on their menu and don’t assume vietnamese and thai are the same and don’t fully trust what a tiktok post especially he can’t even tell between thai and vietnam. And be patient and courteous towards the worker! Please also understand that because the food is good hence the wait time, if you can’t wait please go somewhere else so the rest of us can get in and enjoy their food!
