Stopped by this morning on my way to work. Glad i got to try them out Got 1 pound of barbacoa and it was on point. Favor, tenderness, customer service and price. I will be a return customer

Seriously was some of the best tasting barbacoa I've ever had. The place is a run down shack out in the sticks. Worth the drive, worth heating the tortillas when you get home. I got a pound of meat, a pack of flour tortillas, 2 salsas and 1 avocado. Delicious. Cash only. I'm sure they don't want to pay credit card fees and I don't blame them. The kids working there are all in school and sports, so make sure you TIP them so they can achieve their current goals in life.

There’s no doubt it some of the best Barbacoa around, but in this day and age, there’s no reason for them not to accept credit cards

Barbaoca is just dam good it waking up to see this guy on the weekend's for Dam near 20 yrs always on point the tamales sometimes are not as fantastic as they could be. But better than most

The best barbacoa in the world PERIOD. It doesn't get any better than this. His menudo is on the same tier as his baracoa, and I was a person who wasn't a fan of any menudo before. I've been coming here for well over 10 years, give it a try, won't disappoint.

Best place ever to get barbacoa! No other place compares to this one. The hot sauce is absolutely amazing. Been going there since I was a little kid. Still as amazing now as it was back then.

We having been getting Barbacoa exclusively from Larry for almost 20 years. Whenever we have family over that is all they want on Sunday mornings. Larry takes the time to make a great quality Barbacoa. No one else’s comes close to Larry’s. Thank you Larry and staff for the great food.

First time visiting Larry’s Barbacoa - purchased Barbacoa excellent for $15 lb- Tamales just bought 1/2 dz to try out to find out these Tamales where Bland. Each item is sold separately.

Was drivin through an found this place.. It was pretty good. I got one pound of barbacoa with some of the works pico, avocado, salsa flour/corn tortillas l. One dozen pork tamales they were flavorful too.. The barbacoa was not greasy an it was meaty.. The lady that helped us was very friendly.. It’s a to go only place but they have picnic tables an a convenient store in walking distance.. Definitely will be coming back through this way.. CASH ONLY!!! SmiLe..

I thought always that Laredo had the best barbacoa but this is the best awesome!! I just wish they had it in Missouri

Simple place. Walk up to counter and place your order. Lady in front of me in line ordered 4dozen tamales and two big containers of barbacoa, they had her order out immediately and were already helping me. Yes, the barbacoa is very good (and it is all meat - not mixed). Update: Just came back and it’s still very good barbacoa. I had the tamales and they were a little too coarse for me. Very happy with this place and hope I can make it out this way again someday.

Best barbacoa I've ever had in my entire life!

The best barbacoa without question in Bexar County. Service is exceptional, and the barbacoa is phenomenal. Make sure to bring cash when you visit as that is their method of payment. Good job Little Larry!

This place is NOT “permanently closed” it is open SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM 5am to 2pm!

Just tried them for the first time some of the best Barbacoa I’ve had by far no fat all meat!!!!!!! Must try them out!!!!! Recommend 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Will be going back every weekend!!!

Definitely the best barbacoa and tamales around. Also sells delicious lengua tacos and menudo. You can't go wrong getting food from here on Saturday or Sunday morning. Cash only and come early bcuz this delicious food sells out quick

Been going to Larry's for years and grew up on the Southside of San Antonio so feel I have a good idea of what is good and what is not with regards to barbacoa. Larry's, is without a doubt the best you will ever have. His all meat is actually all meat. Others will sell you what that have deemed all meat and nothing compares to Larry's.

This is a small teeny place order at one of the two wall up windows. It was pricey $40 for our order but WORTH it. The barbacoa and tamales have a lot of flavor and Is soft and fresh!

Barbacoa the way it should be! I am not sure if you can understand how good this place is with out me being able to download a taste sensation file for a nonexistent app on your phone. you must try this place! BUT BE WARNED, once you do you will judge all other barbacoa by Larry's barbacoa; and the others will be found wanting.

My husband and I have been going here for barbacoa for years. We moved a little farther away from the area. But we still make it a point to drive about 30 minutes each way. If you have never been you don't know what your missing. I do however suggest going early. If not you run the risk of not getting any.
