After so many years of hearing of Laspadas, I finally went to try it & they definitely stand up to their reputation. The sub was sooo good!! I told the woman making my sub that it was my first time and she was so sweet, gave me a recommendation and even left me an unexpected note. Thank you!! You made my day 😊 Will be back again!

Used to be good. Had less than acceptable experience. May give them another try to see if just one off. Employees too busy talking to each other than taking care of customers. Quantity of meat on sandwich was pretty lame, tables were dirty. Taste and freshness was good and this visit was late in the day (730p) while store was pretty empty.

I hate to say this but unfortunately it was absolutely horrible. I live in Laurderdale by the sea and I have gone to the Laspada's there for over 25 years at least.go Iit is a totally different experience. Everybody's so nicer they actually get your order correct and you leave with everything you ordered however I didn't realize that they've forgot to include some of the things I ordered until I got back to my home in Broward county. They don't thrown the meat like Laspada's tradition. I'll definitely never be going back to that location again only the one I ordered by the sea.I highly recommend if you try it plan but make sure you go to the one at Laurel by the Sea Florida on Commercial Boulevard and A1A. I'll definitely never go back to that one

Great service. Immediately upon entry you're greeted with enthusiasm. The employees all find ways to accommodate for any requests. The menu is easy to read and the theme is easy to understand. Definitely worth it. Will be coming back. For sure.

Food was amazing and so plentiful! We couldn't finish even half of the sandwiches and they were so nice by wrapping them up for us so we could take them home. Service was very friendly and very quick. They had the sandwiches made in front of us almost immediately. It was so cool to watch them slice the meat and throw big thick stacks of meat across the make line so that the person could catch them on a bun. We were so impressed with the whole outfit. We had three Italians and a meatball and the meatball was amazing in a way that I've never tasted meatball sandwiches before. We liked that they had three different types of cheese sitting right in front of you so we could see it before you chose what to put on your sandwich.

Wow. $14 for maybe 5oz of cold cuts. And the atmosphere sucked. Sad to say but Publix subs offer a better value and they are more friendly. The guy slicing looked so miserable. Long time Cusotmer but not coming back.

Lasdpadas Hoagies ?we have ordered several times from them over the past few months. Most times, it's the monster Hoagie with extra provolone and mayo .It comes with ham,Turkey Roast beef, and just about the best sub or Hoagie roll around ! They will put just about any topping you want on it but will also omit or take off what you don't want on it and the taste ? That's another story, you know It's a good sub or Hoagie when your eyes roll into the back of your head and you have an out of body experience when you take your first bite of it ! I kid you not!! It's off of South University Drive in Davie, Florida, on the west side in the plaza right by Mission BBQ .If you haven't tried Laspadas Hoagies yet? Trust me, you really need to !!oh and by the way ? Their meatball subs are the best also !!

Ordered two tuna small Subs. Our favorite place for tuna. Today the bread was old falling apart and tuna is different now it was darker and more fishy than before. Tried to call the Davie store and no one answers. Very disappointed this is not the Laspadas I know.

Beat hoagie in Florida! Their meatball sub is so good, my Italian father regularly requests extra sauce. Great chicken salad as well. Also, the portions are ginormous.

It's with a heavy heart that I share my recent experiences at Laspadas, a place that once represented the pinnacle of sub sandwiches for me. Unfortunately, a series of changes have not only diminished the quality of their offerings but have also impacted the overall value for money in a way that's hard to justify. The most noticeable change is in their portions; the meat, once piled high with generous, thick slices, has been noticeably reduced in both size and amount. This adjustment significantly detracts from the hearty and fulfilling experience I used to look forward to with each visit. Compounding this issue is the downsizing of their bread loaves. What used to be robust and capable of supporting a lavish filling is now smaller, affecting both the satisfaction of a complete meal and the practicality of eating the sub without it falling apart. The alterations to their pricing structure add insult to injury. Not only have prices increased, but there's also an added cost for extras that were previously considered standard. These changes, combined with the reduced portion sizes, present a double whammy to value-seeking customers. To make matters worse, the service, which used to be a beacon of warmth and efficiency, has seen a decline. The once-friendly faces now seem to carry a sense of indifference, significantly impacting the dining experience. This slew of changes at Laspadas has left me disheartened. What was once a bastion for sub lovers now feels like just another place cutting corners at the expense of quality and customer satisfaction. My hope is that this feedback prompts a return to the values that once made Laspadas a standout choice.

I love Laspada’s the sandwiches are delicious and super fresh. The staff is friendly and funny. Their prices are very reasonable for the high quality. I would even dare to say they are better than Publix’s subs. We miss them in Pembroke Pines.

It pains me to write this, considering I’m the biggest Laspadas fan around. I’ve been coming here since I was a little boy and I’m 27. Been a weekly staple all my life. Considering there was no management around, and it was almost awkward to say anything. I took my loss on the chin and walked out. The older man who made my sandwhich was clearly on hard drugs or drunk. Dropping stuff, eyes glanced over, spacing out while doing stuff, it took him 5 minutes to even wrap the sandwhich. He tossed it to us, went to the bathroom and said have a good day with his eyes closed, hacking his cough on the way to the bathroom. I am disgusted. This was not a sick cough or sick indication, I know what I saw. I went home afraid to see the sandwich and boy was I right. My girlfriend’s simple turkey sandwich was a disaster and my monster fell apart immediately. $27 worth of food that was prepared incredible wrong, and with a gross presence. I asked to add chips to my sandwich and this man just poured them on. 3/10 rating considering Laspadas does have the best quality food, I’ll at least give the place some credit. Someone needs to take a second look at who is making their sandwiches The pictures dont do its justice but this was trash. Laspadas is better than this. Barely any meat, large proportions in the vegetables (primarily onions) to make up for lack of sandwich In this economy I don’t want anyone fired but I think this man needs to explore a different job path

There is one place in Florida that has the greatest subs. This is 1b my God the sub here was amazing. The amount of food I received on my sub is incredible. I needed no sides to my sub to feel full. I was recommended this place by some friends and it did not disappoint.

Number 1 place for hoagies. Has been a staple for many years, noone beats them not even the "PUB" sub! Even with a line time goes by quickly. Love the flying meats!!

This place has the best sandwiches on this side of the Mississippi! The bread was amazing and the ingredients were super fresh. Definitely a staple lunch joint if you’re in the area! Service was amazing too! Even with a line these guys got the sandwiches out fast. 10/10 would recommend!

I've been eating at this location since I was a teenager, so this means at least 20 years, and as of late almost twice a week but this past Saturday 12/9 we bought 4 subs 3 of which were roast beef and there was 1 slice of RB on each sub, are you kidding me!!! AND we were feeding people who've never eaten there, how embarrassing after all the hipe we gave of you to them!! Sadly we will never eat there again!! Back to reliable tastes so heavenly Publix subs. Your location in the last few months has greatly declined in product and customer service!! Do better!! Cause you suck at the moment!! 20 yr customer gone poof, just like that!

Usually love this place and the subs are most of the time incredible. However I’ve had issues recently where not once but twice I order a sub and I’m getting stems in the sandwhich. Not sure if it’s from the tomatoes or the cherry peppers, however it is poor quality that was shocking from Laspadas.

The meatball parm is excellent but if the italian sub is not italian if they use American ham instead of prosciutto. Also the rolls are way to soft, it is like eating a large hot dog roll

This place makes me feel very nostalgic. Reminds me of being in New York and Jersey getting fresh Sandwiches and the service is amazing. Thank you to Rodney, Lori, and Darren for the incredible service plus making me feel right at home. I hope they get a pay increase because they make me wanna come back. Best sandwich’s in the south hands down.

One of my favorite spots! I go whenever I get the opportunity. Great service and even better food. Definitely worth the hype. Rodney somehow manages to make your food swiftly and have a meaningful conversation without skipping a beat. Never disappoints :)

Laspadas hanged there sub rolls, worst thing they could of ever did! New rolls are dry tasteless after a.customer for over 10 years i have to say there subst suck now wont go back. Its all about the roll. And they lost it.

Do not order from here for delivery. I repeat - do not. Whoever is making those orders is not reading.I ordered a Turkey sub with cheese, lettuce, mayo, tomato, onion, sweet peppers….to be delivered a dry sub with only meat. And cheese. I also ordered salt and vinegar chips…..they gave me a LARGE original lays bag. What a joke. I’m so mad I spent money at this location. I love Laspadas but this location - that’s a no for me.

Great sandwiches and service. I had a veggie hoagie with cheese. Fresh veggies with a biggest and reddest tomatoes I have ever seen.

The sandwhiches are always amazing. Everytime my parents come to visit my dad has to stop at this place at least twice. At lunch time the wait time may be a little bit longer. My only complainant would be if you get anything on the side check the bag because both times they forgot to put the sides in the bag.

Been going here for a few years. Better then Pub Subs in my opinion. Cold cuts are cut when you order and alot of fresh veggies to top your sandwich. The bread is great too. Never disappointed.

Come for the food, stay for the show. Meat flying across the store and landing perfectly in a bun is a sight to behold. It's sliced fresh and the assembly line is so fast you won't wait long to enjoy your creation.

Too many flies to count. Landing on all the sandwiches that are being prepped. Flies, flies everywhere. The workers just swat them away. What do flies do when they land? I'll let you Google that.

We typically love this place, but today I went in for 2 simple subs. I was greeted and assisted with my order and once the sandwich maker asked me for my topping as I told him about the first he actually started putting the toppings on my other roll!! Then I asked him can we do one sub at a time as he is getting us both confused. The manager came over gave me an excuse and told me that he could do one at a time. The sandwich maker must have been new as I asked for the subs cut into threes. Once I got to the register the sandwich maker takes the sandwiches back and apologized for not cutting them in 3 which I thought was kind. He took the sandwiches put them on new buns and cut them in threes. The issue is the meat was already cut previously so the new cuts left the sandwiches in a complete mess when trying to eat them. And to put the cherry on top I went to pay as the cashier was on the phone taking another order after he told me my total. I stuck my card in and the receipt pops out and the cashier says “ oh no you paid for someone else’s order I have to void this!” I said but wait it’s gonna take 3-5 days for that refund to get back on my card so you want me to pay twice?? What if I don’t have another $20, then what? The cashier said “Oh well!” I could have lost it!! Instead I decided to let everyone know that the sandwiches are usually amazing but the customer service here is trash!!!! This was the Sample location by the way!

Amazing Tuna Amazing Italian Workers have great attitudes and are fast and friendly. Kinda pricey but definitely worth it.

What makes their sandwiches great is the sweet/hot pepper compote or whatever it's called. Good quality ingredients

I was convinced to go here when I came to the area and it didn't disappoint me either. The sandwiches were delicious (added extra mayo, mustard, peppers) and don't forget the Macaroni salad and pickle. Wish I had gotten 2!!

They are still better than subways and firehouse subs. Even after all these years it is still busy like crazy, but worth it. Andrea is hands down so helpful i always take a little long making up my mind and she helps me and points me in the right direction. Definitely will continue coming back. Great customer service.

When they say,"The Best Damn Hoagies", they mean it and if anyone dares to call a hoagie a sub, that should be considered blasphemy. There is absolutely no comparison between a hoagie and a sub - None Whatsoever! Depending on when you arrive, I'm telling you right now you must have plenty of patience. The line of customers sometimes extends outside the front door and for good reason - the hoagies Are That Damn Good!
