Such a de-light-ful little place. Super cozy. The apple brown sugar latte was delicious!

A really great local coffee shop! Do not overlook this place. You will miss out on the best.

The latte was watered down but the vegan oatmeal cream pies are divine🤤! Update: I visited this place again and my coffee order was made incorrectly two different times and I tried to call back to fix the issue because I had already left the store and I was left abandoned on the phone for 20+ minutes. The quality of service and drinks has really gone downhill and sadly I will not be returning to this place. Edit: for some reason, I cannot reply to the owners but yes, I ordered almond milk. I do not consume dairy. However, I order almond milk at other places and never have the issue with the watered down taste.

If you're looking for the ultimate coffee shop experience look no further. The smell that engulfs you when you enter this place is killer!! My wife and I tried the pick 3 toast and all 3 were very delicious. She had the apple brown sugar latte and enjoyed it. The building itself is very spacious and not crammed at all. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will 100% be back.

I visited Light House Coffee for the first time today and was impressed by the charming atmosphere and ample seating. I enjoyed the highly recommended Banana Sundae Latte, which was delicious. I also had the Garlic, Herb, and Cheese on crisp toasted bread, which was flavorful and made for a satisfying light snack on a busy day.

Cute place and friendly staff. I couldn’t focus on my work because of the amount of gnats flying around my avocado toast. Toast was really good but I ended throwing away after three bites.

I love lighthouse, when I started lsu last year this place helped me feel at home and like a cozy place I could study. The workers are always super sweet and talkative and the iced cereal milk latte is amazing, they always get out my coffee to me in less than 5 minutes and it’s awesome especially knowing I can count on the quick pick me up before my morning shifts or classes! I’ve recommended lighthouse to several family members and friends and they’ve all been pleased.

Seating and service are great but the music is way too loud to get any work done, even with noise canceling headphones :(

The drinks were great! The only unfortunate thing was that food may take a while to fulfill. If it happens to you, take it to the cashier and they'll give you a hand.

I'm from Houston, TX and was visiting my in laws who live close to Lighthouse coffee. I'm dairy free but didn't want to buy a whole container of creamer for a few days so would pop down to light house every morning we were in BR. My go to quickly became a cardamom latte with oat milk. Such a unique offering but I loved it! I would have loved even a bit more cardamom flavor without more of the sweet flavor. I happened to come across an article about the owners commitment to hiring and helping refugees and love this place even more for it. The garage bay windows when opened on a nice day really add to the vibes. The addition of microfoam to lattes would put this place in my top 2 faves, the other being in Katy, TX. Can't wait to come back!

This nice worker started talking Spanish to my grandma who doesn’t understand English. Also the food was great I was in a bad mood that day but the food made it so much better

Nice place. The only thing is, they don’t have whipped cream. This is the first time I’ve encountered that at a coffee shop. Other than that, 5 stars!

My first "office" of the day, I arrived here early enough to pick a good seat close to the power outlets. Cortado on the menu and when my name was called out a few minutes later, this is perfect. Served precisely the way it should be in a short glass and with another glass of fizzy water. This is a real barista and not one of those "button pusher" types! Over the course of the next hour, Light House Coffee filled up and got chatty. Lots of people talking, a few people working or studying, everyone drinking great coffee. My coffee did its job and over the three hours, I did mine. A lovely busy spot that isn't one of those Green Siren outlets. You will want to get here early to ensure you can get a seat.

Atmosphere and service are great, but I spent $15 on 3 pastries that were stale. I don’t usually leave reviews but these tasted like they’d been sitting there for days. So dry we couldn’t finish them

Service and atmosphere was wonderful. The iced matcha latte was so bland though. Didn't taste like anything besides watered down whole milk.

I LOVE this place. The food and drinks are amazing, and I love studying here. I love their avocado toast. However, after being swarmed with flies the last few times I went to study and got toast, idk if I will be back! They didn’t seem to be bugging people without food but we had at least 30 at our table LITERALLY swarming us.

Hands down the neatest coffee I've ever had - cereal latte! Great place to get work done or meet with a friend. Great atmosphere and cool folks working there.

This is a very cute coffee shop, great latte, homemade syrups- I tried the lavender and it was delicious! Their toasts are delicious, and they have Gluten Free options as well. It was exceptionally crowded, and full of students, and that wasn’t what I was looking for environmentally, but otherwise a great place!

Loved it. The Nutella Latte was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had.

The drinks are so creative, the vibes immaculate, avocado toast is like no other, I wish I could visit more.

Visited a friend at LSU from out of state last November and discovered light house. I think we went 4 times within my week visit. Obsessed with menu and atmosphere, all baristas were so nice and awesome. Now that fall weather is starting I am craving the apple chaider and so sad I can’t stop in and grab one! Next visit!

Decided to visit this coffee shop instead of my usual everytime I’m in town. Very disappointed with my latte and the chocolate chip cookie I ordered- which was dry and crumbly. Not sure if they have an in house baker? But it was not good. Lady who checked me out was lovely so giving it two stars for the service.

Light House was a phenomenal local coffee shop for its first few years of existence. Unfortunately its beacon doesn’t burn quite as bright anymore. Multiple subpar experiences recently. Perhaps it’s time to focus on atmosphere, serving great drinks, and exceptional service again instead of trying to expand and taking on the challenge of roasting beans.

The coffee and the food were excellent. A bit too crowded but that means it’s a good place! Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

I had the cinnamon roll latte and it was pretty good. The atmosphere is really nice. We were there for a meeting, they have a nice little meeting room in the back that is cool and allows you to meet in a simi private space. The only issue I had was that my latte wasn't as hot as I would have wanted it to be but it was still good.

This coffee spot was outstanding, with a clean, quiet, and welcoming feel. They make their own in-house syrups and have a lovely toast menu. The coffee was smooth and tasty, just the right amount of sweetness. While we did not eat off the menu today we plan to return and try something else tomorrow before traveling home.

I usually dont buy coffee in stores but this is an exception! This was my first time visiting this coffee shop and it was great. I ordered a signature drink called the Cinnamon Roll Latte and it was perfect in every way possible. I really like cinnamon so this drink hit the spot. I also ordered a prosciutto fig because i was hungry and it was also really good.

The food was really good, but the coffee was just okay. The atmosphere left the most to be desired. It wasn't very comfy for a coffee house and wasn't conducive to getting work done.

Good atmosphere for studying, hanging out, or catching up. Variety of drinks, coffee is good- more on the acidic side. Environment is a little bit louder than other shops however it is a larger space and very well known… if you’re looking to study here, i recommend getting here early cause tables fill up fast!
