I had the grilled chicken, black eyed peas, mac n cheese and corn bread. Coming from Memphis, I had HIGH expectations and they met them. Definitely recommend! Shania was a great waitress, too!! 🙂

The food was very good, I got the wings in the dream fire flavor ! The smokiness and flavor was A1, Yellow rice was good and they served it with a brown gravy that was also good and unique . Mac n cheese was good as well and yes there was a cheese pull lol . The owner was very hospitable and checked on everyone to make sure they enjoyed their experience. Overall I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some good soul food in downtown Miami !

There is beautiful art throughout the restaurant and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The service was great, our server Will was extremely helpful and kind. And most importantly the food was delicious and well seasoned! We ordered the smoked wings, conch cakes, and a few other entrees and all were great. Highly recommend

I had a wonderful time here. The food was amazing! From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. I enjoyed a performance while I was dining and sang along to some of my favorite songs. Ms Tessie Porter thank you for singing happy birthday to my mom. You’re a fantastic singer and have a great voice! If you’re looking for good food and a great time, I 10 /10 would recommend Lil Greenhouse grill. 🙂

Whoever has been in the management position for last 6 months to a year replying to these complaints should be fired. We want good service. No one care bout "the community" when they go to eat. Horrible representation this place has. I will never come back.

Where do I start? I was just coming back from a cruise and was looking for a black-owned soul food restaurant and found this place. What a gem! It felt like home..: the service was excellent, the food was great, and the atmosphere was a vibe. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner while I was there she’s so sweet, kind, and inspiring. She was doing an interview, I overheard her story, and it made me feel like I could do anything…. literally tearing up because of how proud I am of her. Anyway, this place is amazing and I can’t wait to come back.

Really enjoyed my first visit to Lil GreenHouse Grill. I tried the conch fritters while I waited for my food to go. They were yummy! The servers were kind and had great recommendations. The Mac and Cheese and Corn bread are the worth the 2nd trip alone! Shared with a few friends and we will definitely be back.

Smoked chicken wings…with baked Mac and cheese 10 stars. Have to visit again before I head back home

After a long day we wanted to grab late lunch, I googled restaurants near me and this location came up. The area is very interesting not in a good way. It’s a mix of safe and unsafe. We were not greeted when a female server saw us. As if she didn’t want to attend us. I walked a bit closer to the tablets that’s when they saw us and sat us down. NO TYPE OF SERVR SRVICE EXPERIENCE AT ALL. I myself have been a server before and we depend of tips and make sure the experience is worth for the customer. This server she really didn’t do her job. We got an appetizer she brought no plates. No napkins. We had to ask her. I told her we will order in a bit, she came in seconds back to take our order before even touching our appetizer. We order the food didn’t take long. We had to ask again for napkins. She would only bring 3-4 napkins knowing we have finger food. Randomly she brought the check while we were still eating. DISRESPECTFUL & UNETHICAL. I ask another female worker looked like a manager. What time they close, she said at 6pm. It was early 4pm. We honestly felt so uncomfortable, not welcomed, not wanted and mostly rushed to eat ,that we didn’t even finish our food we paid and left. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN TO THIS PLACE NOR I RECOMMEND AT ALL. Piece of advice don’t judge others by the way they look especially by judging others race.

I was a little skeptical getting out at the location. But I wanted to try it so I took the chance. Am I’m sooo glad I did. If I could give this place a million stars I would. When we first walked in we were greeted to a friendly smile. The waitress was very attentive almost boarding annoying. But was at our every call. I ordered the smoked wings with green yams n cornbread. My husband ordered grilled salmon w Mac n cheese n baked beans. And watermelon medley. When I tell you everything was delicious. I mean everything was the best I’ve ever tasted at any soul food place I’ve eaten. The green were cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the smoked wings. OMG the wings I’ve never tasted the combination of smoked lemon pepper wings. Let’s say I’m hooked. I’m already planning my next trip to Miami. And it definitely my first stop.

I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Went for lunch, waited 50mins for my dine in food and another 15min ON TOP OF THAT FOR 2 to go dishes. Ordered 2 barbecue chicken plates with yellow rice, 1 with green beans 1 with Mac n cheese….Chicken was hard on both plates as if it was reheated, Mac n cheese taste like it was from the 4th of July, only thing edible on both plates was the yellow rice. Also ordered salmon with yellow rice and collard greens “completely horrible” the salmon was dry, the greens were definitely canned and the taste was dreadful, not to mention the cornbread was very bland (I don’t ever recall having tasteless cornbread EVER), again only thing on the plate edible was the yellow rice UNTIL I attempted to dress the salmon with the watermelon n pineapple 🤮🤮🤮🤮 BAD IDEA as the fruit had began to go bad giving off a weird taste close to beer!! I REALLY HATE TO BLAST SMALL BUSINESSES BUT I’M UP PAST MY BEDTIME WITH A BAD STOMACH ACHE!!!! II HAD EATEN AT THIS RESTAURANT PRE-COVID AND IT WAS SUPERB BUT TODAY I DONATED $138 AND FELT EMBARRASSED AFTER REFERRING CO-WORKERS WHO WERE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AS WELL!!!! And the seafood cakes WERE MEDIOCRE but my coworker did eat 2 as we sat nearly an hour waiting for food. SORRY but it had to be said!!!

Omg Best ribs and Mac n cheese I've ever had. What's?!? Food is 6 out of 5 stars Service was great. Very friendly staff. 4 stars for atmosphere because the place can use a few touch-ups, but otherwise quaint and cool. Bob Marley photo made me very happy to see. Such a good human. Anyway, I took my food to go, and had it for lunch in my office. It was a lot of food. So, I ate it again for dinner. Very fairly priced for a meal that turned into two meals. $32 I will be back to try the other menu items.

I love this place. Black owned and operated, can’t be but proud to patronize. I ordered the seafood cake, collards, and yams- yummy. Great service and excellent food with generous portions. I love the Flop drink too. It’s a small establishment so wheelchair bound individuals might find it difficult to move around and to enter. Family friendly too. I recommend to everyone to explore their vast menu selection.

Ordered through doordash. Got the Ribs with Mac&cheese and mashed potatoes and bbq chicken with rice and collard greens. Ribs and collard greens were delicious. I should’ve gotten another side of greens instead of the mashed potatoes. The cornbread was not bad a little dry but overall a solid meal. I would return again.

Absolutely LOVELY!!! Everything is cozy and warm and the staff is very friendly and just ready to give you the experience. My man and I have was in town and I was in the mood for some comfort food and wanted to try some place new! We came across little green house and everything looked worth the try! The host was very lovely when she greeted us and sat us to our table: I order the smoked wings (THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS/ FLAVORFUL/ and the buffalo sauce was so good with a kick! I was stuck between ordering the short ribs and the salmon until the hostess told us she orders her salmon almost every night and also added the teriyaki sauce on the side which (it isn’t needed due to the salmon already being grilled perfectly) added also some extra flavor! The sting beans were also my favorite! My man got the shrimp /mac n cheese / yams and said it was also really good as he is a picky eater! Their peach mimosa was also really good! Overall just go visit! Cozy , warm, comfortable vibes! Great food and GREAT reasonable PRICES and plates well worth it as well as the experience! And as great as the food was I was surprised to not get anything on my rose dress lol! I can’t wait to go back !

From Missouri so have both St. Louis and KC for Bbq and also aint too far from Memphis so believe me when I say that these ribs were some of the best outside the midwest I have ever had. Ordered the rib tips as a starter because I wanted to try the shrimp and grits. It was the bomb. Customer Service makes you feel at home.

The food and atmosphere were incredible. I had a great time singing, dancing, and enjoying the small crowd there on an early Friday evening. I had the Grilled Salmon with Mac n cheese, cornbread and collards which were all very flavorful. The cornbread was soft and sweet, the collards had a slight spice and were yummy, the macaroni was creamy and tasteful, and the Salmon had a nice char to it. The only thing I did not enjoy was the Peach Cobbler. It was not good.

Stopped here w/my daughter before hopping on the Brightline Train and I’m glad we did. I looked at the menu unsure of what to try, when my daughter said, “I’ll just get a burger!” 😕 “Just a burger?” I asked. “Know what? I’ll grab one w you.” 😳😱🤯 Yooooo. That wasn’t JUST anything! That Angus burger had me hi 5’ing my daughter and dancing in my seat. Solid choice!! I know. I know. A burger 🍔. Don’t sleep on it. It’s Great!!! The music vibe is on point. Our server was excellent and I dont know if the other lady is the owner, but she was really attentive to her guests and welcoming. Give this spot a try! You’ll be glad you did. ✌🏾

My dine at this quaint black owned restaurant for lunch; the conch fritters and peach mango sangria were good. The shirmp and grits needed more salt and flavor. He had chicken and waffles. The waffles were good. Customer service was superb.

The portion sizes for the meals were very scarce. The salmon was tiny and dry. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The watermelon chutney was sour or spoiled. The seating was intimate but decent. The service was nice. You kinda feel like family when you're there. I can't comment on the pricing because my date paid for me before I could see the menu. But I did get a chance to sample his salmon burger and it was absolutely delicious.

Everything was delicious. We had the black bean burger, fried chicken special, cornbread, greens, yams and Mac. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The fries were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I appreciate that there wasn’t any meat in the greens. The yams were spectacular!!!! Will be back! Loved that it was Black owned!!!

Hello I wanted to take the time and edit the review that I made about 2 years ago 2 years ago I ate at this establishment and I quit eating at this establishment because I felt the food was not fresh I decided to give it another try 2 weeks ago I had the ribs and I had the half chicken I ordered on a Tuesday and the food was nothing short of delectable I could tell that the food was fresh and it was so good that I ordered again a week later if the owner is reading this thank you for taking the feedback and making obvious changes I respect that so much I will say as a word of advice that that banana pudding is horrible it should be more like a custard but it tastes like Jello pudding with vanilla wafers and honestly the price for that banana pudding was outrageous when you compare to the quality of the pudding other than that my entrees were absolutely delicious and I appreciated the obvious changes made thank you so much

Worked Saturday morning at UMiami medical campus. Found this delicious restaurant nearby and it was phenomenol. The wings are outstanding. Chicken and waffles are the perfect savory, sweet, and crunchy. Shrimp and Grits well-seasoned, though a little loose. Wish I'd saved room for sock-it-to-me cake or banana pudding. We'll be back!

I love the whole vibe of this spot. The drinks, food and music was on point. I actually found this restaurant on tik tok. I recommend going here and I really return on my next vacation from here on out. The wings were very delicious you have to try those, I recommend them. It was by chance I stumbled into this little gem. (I took a wrong turn/route). I'm a believer things happen for a reason. It was like they had almost all of my favorite foods on 1 menu. Seafood, smoked wings, and soul food sides. I was so full, I didn't leave room for dessert (I was going to get the peach cobbler). Loved everything about this place from the time we walked in for reservations at 7:45. We were seated by a beautiful host at the door. She put us in a nice sitting booth not too far from entrance but it was perfect. Our waiter was very respectful, pleasant, and over the top on making surr we enjoyed our meal and time at the restaurant. I ordered parmesean wings, mac,collard,yams but i was full after eating the mac and collards which i love so much. True soulfood restaurant in Miami. My son loved the yams he ordered double with the delicious fried salmon the waiter highly recommended. I love supporting Black owned businesses with great service and Lil greenhouse has the best food and customer service i have ever experienced visiting Miami. I will be back hopefully soon.

The food and ambience was absolute marvelous!

I had the pleasure of enjoying the Conch Fritters, Shrimp & Grits, and The Grapefruit Mimosa. The flavors in everything I tasted were very well balanced. The large shrimp in my entrée were succulent and paired well with the grits that were the perfect viscosity, not too runny & not too thick.👌🏿👌🏿 I really liked the watermelon chutney that accompanied the Conch Fritters, which were piping hot when they reached our table. My dining host had the grilled chicken sandwich, and it is a hearty portion that is beautifully grilled and seasoned. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Nicole, who was so warm & sweet. She has done a great job of having her staff extend the same warmth & southern hospitality. The space is cozy and the decor highlights many of the great musicians and artists known to frequent Overtown, aka The Harlem of the South. Be sure to pop in and tell them Drissy sent you. 🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿

All I can say is, whoa. The conch fritters were so good, I forgot to take pics. The seafood cakes were delightful and perfectly cooked. We had the yams and mashed potatoes as our sides - oh my goodness. This definitely feels like a family-run establishment, and you can taste the care put into every dish. Service was fantastic. I AM TRULY SADDENED! I used to come here all the time for their amazing weekend brunch! The food was always amazing, and the service was on point. I recently called because I couldn’t remember what their brunch hours were and was informed that they no longer did brunch. Okay, so let’s go look at the menu and boy, was I in for a huge shock! I guess after Mr. Chimetime left them a review it went to their heads. The menu prices are insane and from the recent reviews I’ve been reading, the food is no longer up to par with what they use to be. It is a huge shame because I really looked forward to going back to this place but when will establishments learn that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” IN RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE LEFT FOR ME: I guess you didn't bother to read the entire review! What about doing away with the brunch? And what about your food no longer being up to par after the price increase? Those are the thing that mostly warrant the 1 star!

When we come to Miami for a concert we look for smaller local restaurants. Lil Greenhouse Cafe is a wonderful place to stop. The food was delicious. The sauces like the dreamfire on the shrimp were tasty.

Went there,’Friday night 7pm. They were slammed. Waited 40 minutes for wings didn’t think they would come. When they finally did come along with they came with sides on the house. Guys really worth the wait. Didn’t think it would be so good but I ca see why the place is highly reviewed. I’m a tired chef and I know good places and bad. This place is legit. Just left Miami - found this spot on TikTok & I must say the experience was horrible. While eating there was a roach on the wall. After showing the waitress - she said I’ll discount you. She took 8 dollars off the bill. I paid the bill and even still tipped her but honestly I believe that she should have gotten a manager and they should have made it right. I’ll just post the payment but I also have proof of comment. In addition I left my AirPod case called back in there and they said it wasn’t there but FindMy said otherwise. The wings were alright. The fried lobster we didn’t even finish and the shrimp were alright a little two sweet! Cabbage steamed unseasoned and the Mac and cheese was mash potatoes texture. Needless to say I won’t listen to TikTok anymore! If the manager wants the other video message me and I’ll send to you directly.

Definitely will try them again. The collard greens and the shrimp salad was amazing. The mac and cheese was good. I like how the chicken had grilled onions all over it to give it that flavor! The burnt ends were kinda tough. Cornbread was too crumbly but still good.

Everything I've tried is phenomenal. The BBQ chicken and banana pudding are personal faves, but the turkey burger, smoked wings, and ribs, and all the sides are on point! I love taking people there for lunch. Always a hit.

My husband & I came into Miami from DC to celebrate our 12 yr wedding anniversary & I found this amazing spot! The food & service were phenomenal! Our server Ky (I believe that was her name) was so welcoming, charismatic, extremely knowledgeable of the menu & gave us excellent recommendations. We had the Rib Tips, Fried Salmon Bites, the Seafood Cakes, Firecracker Shrimp, & I did the Fried Snapper as my main course. We met the owner also & she was a complete doll! & Met the chef also. The way she greeted her staff was beautiful! She spoke to them like a big family. You can tell theres alot of love & respect in that establishment. The vibes & everything was perfect. Not to mention, it's located in Historic Overtown. Do yourself a favor, whether you're visiting or a resident. PLEASE check this spot out.

We had the loveliest of experiences at this establishment. We called in to order and redeem a Groupon. Shania provided exceptional service on the phone and once again when we arrived at the location. We met Nicole, the owner, a simply beautiful woman with an amazing personality. We also met Chef Kareem. His food was delicious to the last bite!!! Quaint, cozy location with a beautiful outdoor patio open now. We ordered takeout but stayed to watch in. Excellent prices and large portions. We are excited to return!

DELICIOUS soul food in the historic Black neighborhood of Overtown!! We had the shrimp& grits, rib tips, mac& cheese, corn bread, collard greens, yellow rice, black eyed peas and the Flop. The service was friendly and efficient. Next time we are in Miami we plan to work our way through the rest of the menu across our 5-day visit. Yum!

My mother and I went here last month on a visit to Miami. I intended to write a review then, but got busy and forgot. I was reminded of this great food when my mom mentioned she hadn't had better crab cakes/seafood cakes, than the ones she had here. I have been trying to find tea as good as there's, but that has been impossible. The ice tea here is a 100 out of 10. It is sweet and delicious--not too sweet and definitely not Lipton's. Whatever it is, it has me wanting to catch a plane just to get some more. That tea is BANGIN!!!! Ky was our server, and she was awesome! She was welcoming, kind, courteous, checked on us, and wanted to make sure we had a good dining experience. Mom had the seafood cakes. I had the barbecue wing dinner, the greens, and the cabbage. All were absolutely amazing, and the presentation was gorgeous. The place is small. However, it is full of love. The bathroom was also very clean. I tried another more renowned establishment in the city on a prior visit, and it did not compare to the quality of service or the taste of food here. Skip the big names and come where you will be treated well and served great food! And try some of that tea! I cannot wait to return to Miami. This will be one of my first stops!

I’ve eaten here inside before but decided to do takeout this time around. Food is consistently wonderful and delicious. I seriously haven’t found anything comparable to the quality, price, and service in this great little restaurant. I really love its location in the middle of historic Overtown.

Came here after a Fever Concert nearby. I must say that the place is cozy and nice. It has a relaxed vibe, excellent food and service. We were greeted with enthusiasm and it’s servers were very knowledgeable and made sure we were taken care of. You can tell the chef is dedicated to his craft. The food was so good and well-seasoned! Had to take it home for after my food-coma. Definitely recommend!

Mac&cheese ‘ Deliiiiicios , A don’t get me started on the wings 💓👑💕 the waitresses were nice and the owner was amazing , definitely a vibe . And definitely our new Soul spot and Miami 🌹

Although nothing was great, we would definitely go back if we get hungry while visiting downtown! Everything was freshly made and seemed homemade.

our waitress Shania was such a sweetheart, she absolutely made our dinner here better! Chicken and Waffles were incredible, Loved the Conch Bites. . I've never had Grits before but now I'm hooked! Also we may or may not have ordered two of the Banana Pudding desserts because of how amazing they were!

Came here because we were looking for a quick bite to eat before going to the airport and found it on Google. We were not disappointed ! The ambiance is very relaxed and you can tell it is a family oriented place. The dining area was super clean and the hostess/waitress greeted us warmly and quickly seated us without reservations. I ordered a mimosa and he got a beer. I ordered the Seafood cake meal with baked mac and cheese and yams and he got the wings with conch fritters. It was delicious and came out quickly! We will definitely be returning and telling other people about this place.

All the way from NC, I googled, checked reviews and decided to give them a try. Will was the BEST, young Waiter I’ve ever encountered. He let me try some banana pudding, gave His opinion on food was was Phenomenal! I wish We had time to go get some to take home today Will definitely be back!

I have to admit this place has some amazing food no doubt but just imagine ordering a dinner and half way through the meal you take a bite of a long piece of hair ! Not to mention the waitress implies the chef is bald and she doesn’t know what’s going on! I ask for a refund and she hands me $6 after I paid $40 for the meal!!! I will never ever go back. Like wow I threw up in my damn mouth so disgusting man just wow

Vibes 10/10 Food 10/10 Music 10/10 If you are ever in Miami come here!!! I’ve been here multiples times and have never had food so good.
