Everything was excellent last night. Dinner, service, atmosphere and tenor Rafael Cuvelo was magnificent. But chairs were very uncomfortable. They need cushions

Got seated on metal lawn chairs inside. I can understand if we were seated outside but inside metal porch chairs? The water tasted terrible like it came from a dirty glass. Lasagna tasted reheated and not fresh and didn’t even include a house salad. Table bread was chewy and cold. Service was fine. For the price would not go back Olive Garden is better imo

First time here! I’ve been an Avalon Park resident for 20+years. Tonight’s food was amazing. Loved the atmosphere and our waitress Sophia was great. Chris S (who works here) told us to come and I’m so glad he did! We’ll be regulars. Thank you for a great evening 💛😊

So I’ve dined in here once and gotten take out twice. I’m writing this review because 2 nights ago I ordered the meatballs as a side (for my one year old daughter) First of all there are only 2 and they’re huge - it doesn’t tell you how many or the size so that’s annoying. I was expecting a bunch of little ones she could grab onto and eat. Anyway I tried a bite mainly to see if it was cool enough for her to eat and not going to lie they were actually disgusting and the texture was weird. Like too soft, idek. Anyway I also ended up cutting it in half and it wasn’t even cooked in the middle of course because they’re gigantic. I am including the image of them not being cooked, the menu where it doesn’t specify size or amount, and then a pic of one as a whole even though the picture doesn’t do how big it is justice. On another note: I would give this place a 5star based off of my other two visits. They have an AMAZING pizza called Bianca… which is delicious the way it comes but if you want something a little more adding bacon on it is also to die for. And then my husband is absolutely obsessed with their stuffed mushroom ravioli! Which I will admit is delicious. Also comb they were and still are out of cheesecake according to the online and the other night when we tried to order it so that’s annoying because how do you run out of a dessert. But anyway I’d still eat here but never order meatballs or spaghetti with meatballs cuz they just aren’t it.

Local resident..1st time trying.. ordered a bunch of different items to try todo. Will not order again.. maybe taste better for dine in.

Real Italian food, amazing service. I sat at the bar and the atmosphere was great. I loved the liquor selection and how it was set up/decorated. The portions are monster size, huge. One of the servers told me “yeah, we feed our customers here!”, and he was not joking. I work in the area so I will definitely be back!

I have been here at least 6 times. The food has always been great. The service has always been great. I recommend that you make reservations. I have actually made a list of all the different dishes. I’ve had there, I have yet to be disappointed.

Charming family run Italian restaurant! They have some of the best pasta at this price point in Orlando. The sauces are seasoned perfectly and the pasta was perfectly al dente. Must get the homemade Tiramisu as well! Very reasonable prices, service was friendly. It wasn't too busy on a Sun night. I'd definitely come back! Edit: Came back when they moved to a new location, and the food is just as good as remembered. The aglio e olio was under seasoned, but everything else was very good. Service was slow probably due to not enough staff on a busy night. I hope they also open for lunch around 11am in the future!

This is a family owned business and they keep the restaurant very clean! Meals are expertly prepared, very engaging and friendly staff, of which, some are family. Their efforts to make sure you have an enjoyable experience is very evident and appreciate by us for sure. We’ll definitely go back!

We had high hopes for this place after deciding to come in to try their menu. My wife ordered the Fagioli soup, and it's the most bland soup she's ever tasted as a foodie...she had to add salt to it and even so ended up leaving it after a few bites. I had the Caesar salad which I'm surprised to say it's the first time I ever leave food unfinished. The salad seemed as if they poured an entire bottle of dressing on it, turning it in into a soup; I was genuinely disappointed. The restaurant has a massive black sign outside saying "Pizza", that's the reason we came in after getting wine next-door, but they DO NOT have NY style pizzas which is on their online menu or any variety of pizza at all. If you search under their menu for "Menu Pizza" you'll encounter 4 options, which the special pizza is barely made and wasn't available when we were there according to our server. So for a restaurant that advertises online NY style pizza but DOES NOT server any and the massive sign outdoors "Pizza", this restaurant is a disappointment. On the bright side, right next door you have the FoodHall with delightful options.

We've been going to Mangia since right after they opened by Walmart.. This is hands down our favorite restaurant in the area. The food is amazing, the base menu is simple and satisfying but their specials are one of our favorite reasons we keep coming back. Always different, always amazing. The staff here is phenomenal as well. We've always had wonderful service, last time we went was shortly after they reopened in their new location, the manager was our server while training a new server and didn't slip a bit. We just went tonight and our server actually recognized us from when we came back at the old location, and was absolutely wonderful. The simple fact that they remember two random customers from probably 6-9 months prior and giving just that sort of attention to detail speaks wonders. Both times we've gone to the new location the service was outstanding, specials were known right off the bat, recommendations made, even down to asking my wife if she'd like a minor alteration to a drink based on her taste. The atmosphere of the place is decent and only thing I gotta say is slightly off 5 star. It's a new location so I get still establishing but some of the decor is a bit out of place and our table tonight three chairs were armless and one had arms. Was a little odd but it was just two of us so it didn't matter to us. Also, we had four sets of utensils on our table despite being a two top. But nothing that was overly off putting. Despite some odd decor choices, it's got the feel of upscale fine dining without feeling stuffy. The quality of the restaurant overall is top notch and on par with some of the best in Orlando but it's got a local area vibe that radiates energy and has a real "you're family" classic Italian charm. If you haven't been here, try it out. If you have, come back and try a new special. Mangia is the sort of place that is worth the drive out to Avalon to try and being here in Avalon lucky to have it around.

The establishment left a positive impression upon my arrival, having transformed into an elegant and romantic Italian restaurant that delivers on its promises. The service was exceptional and highly accommodating. It is uncommon to find an Italian restaurant where the majority of the staff are native speakers, which contributes to an authentic ambiance and is reflected in the quality of their cuisine, which was impeccable. Even their pizza was exceptionally delicious. I eagerly anticipate my next visit and highly recommend this establishment.

We came in for a date night dinner. Great atmosphere and the food was outstanding. Downside was one waitress for about five or six tables so we had to look for her a few times. Also a bit pricey in my opinion since there are so many other Italian dining options in the area.

First time at Mangia. I couldn't be happier. The service was great and the food was outstanding. We went there for my birthday dinner and will definitely be going back.

I love the place, I will be back

This is the first time at the new location and was excellent. I got the Orecchiette Baresi and stuffed mushrooms which was very delicious. The service is top notch. It was my Birthday dinner and the manager/owner insisted on a desert, so I got the tiramisu which is also phenomenal. I’m glad to have such a great restaurant in close proximity to my home! Will be back soon.

2 or 3 weeks ago, on Sunday, my wife and I went here for the first time. When we were sitting there were 3 people attending us ( one with water, other with the menus and not sure what the third one brought, probably the silverware). After that, we were waiting for more than 20 minutes!!! and nobody came to ask us if we wanted anything to drink. I asked for a manager and she was surprised and ashamed. She offered and gave us a gift card for the next time. Food was good, though. Today, June 19th, we came again. We entered and there was nobody there. Waited for a minute and nobody came. We left. A restaurant like this needs to have people in front waiting for customers all the time, even if it is a slow day. If you are not going to have someone there all the time, then you need to have some alert system when a customer gets in. I still have my gift card and I am not sure at this point, if I will ever spend it. I gave them another opportunity and they failed…again

Just went back for Father’s Day to the new address. Was just as good. Wonderful staff clean. Friendly. Dinner was delicious This is my third visit and it is just as good as the first. Wait staff is very knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. Always friendly. Can’t wait for my forth visit.

They make their own fettuccine and mozarella. The food is so good and the service is excellent.

We just ate at the new location and it was a wonderful experience. Everytime we come the food is Amazing. We've tried several of their pastas, lambchops, pizza. The muscles are always fresh and delicious and they make their own mozarella for the caprese.

I have been looking for years in the US for a place like this, specially one that have a good Carpaccio! Unbelievably good!!!

Authentic carbonara without a 12hr flight drew me in but everything else on the menu keeps me coming back. Highly recommend quattro formaggi pizza and/or arancini.

This first generation Naples family owned restaurants checks all the boxes! After going to Italy and enjoying the amazing cuisine returning home was disappointing to find this good food. Look no farther, your chef Rosario is the best! The service is amazing and you even get a taste of authentic cafe outside seating. Don’t forget to try the tiramisu martini! We have been at least a dozen visits and have never been disappointed. Get out of your Winter Park comfort zone and come out to Avalon park it is well worth the drive!

Flew in from Texas and accidently found this place. LOVE the atmosphere. The service was fantastic and the food was DELISH! Justin and Paulo gave us a warm welcome and enjoyed the friendly conversation, and learned a little Italian.

The food was mediocre; their website would lead you to believe they have booths and a nice atmosphere. In reality, this is one step up from your average takeout place. The weight staff are largely college kids, some of which have clearly not been trained very well. We had a gluten free need, and the waitress really didn’t even know what that meant—asked if it was an allergy. Overall, was a very mediocre experience, and is quite pricey for that.

My first experience at this restaurant and it’s been amazing. The food was as good as anything I had when I lived in Italy. The carbonara was flavorful. We also had the Capricciosa pizza and they were generous with the toppings. I am going to be a regular from now on.

New location same family style Italian food.... Avalon Park across from the Market place. BEST Italian food in Orlando. Pablo's creative Espresso Martini Tiramisu second to none. The Lamb chops and Risotto to. die. for!! I could go on and on ....and on... Hahaha. We just love them.

Not a fan Bar: was offered only what was on the shelf and then see others get something we were told they did not have. The bartender was our waiter who we barely saw. Asked for bread to come out with meal no bread. I’m huge on customer service. I want to see a restaurant in the community win. However I will not support if the restaurant itself doesn’t treat Everyone the same . I saw the table next to us get treated with so much love and respect. 2024 and still no change someone has got to do better!

The food was delicious, not salty and the proportions good for three. We had the stuffed mushrooms (our favorite dish of the evening) followed by a burrata, which was tasty. Our entrees included chicken marsala and puttanesca with salmon (both were perfectly seasoned and pasta perfect!). For desert we had the limoncello cake (subtle lemon taste, creamy yummy Ness) and Coretto Affogato (Ice cream with shot of espresso and Amaretto) which was a delightful surprise! I had a hard time finding the restaurant as it's name is not found on the awning and I thought it was the old Mulberry restaurant. In addition, Italian music would have definitely made the experience a whole lot better, in my opinion. Needless to say, we will be heading there with our extended family tomorrow and in the future. The staff, from hostess, waitress, busboys/bus girls were very attentive. Thank you for a very good experience. I'm off to complete a 3 mile walk after dinner 😂

I just want to say this place succeeded my expectations. I walked in greeted very nicely by the hostess and the chef. I came in a little earlier as they said it would take about 15-20. Makes sense because this was about dinner time on a Sunday night, which the chef informed me was a very busy time. To recompense me for the long wait, they gave me a cheesecake on the house which was outstanding. I want to personally thank the chef whom I believe his name is Nick, but don't quote me on that. Pizza was great and the friendly staff were amazing. Will defiantly be recommending to others and will absolutely be ordering again.

The best italian restaurant that I have ever been. The food is always delicious and the staff is wonderful. We have been coming here for more than a year now and it never disappoints. The mushroom risotto, the carbonara, and the canoli are for sure the best things you can order.

My fiancé and I have been going to Mangia since they opened. Very disappointed at the takeout service given tonight. Called in two meals, one being lasagna and was told it would be a 40 minute wait. We go into pick up the order and are told the lasagna is sold out and it would be an additional 30 minutes for anything else. No call was given ahead to let us know our meal was not available as well as no offering of any kind for the mistake/additional wait time. Unfortunately we will not be going back to Mangia. Responding to owners response: Yes, you offered to make a replacement at full price, again no offering for additional wait time, such as a drink, dessert, nothing. I would say that’s not fixing your mistake the best way possible.

This place is the best restaurant in all orlando that you can go. Every server on this place are exceptional and the ambient is out of this world. The food is amazing and you will no go wrong with the gnocchi a la sorrentina or the lasagna. Please please please go and get a tiramisu cause this is the best tiramisu that I have try in all my life.

My wife and I shared a Dinner at an amazing Italian spot in Tampa back in 2015. Since that time we have been searching for another Italian spot with amazing food and service. Mangia popped up for us while searching for a spot near home and wow. Pizza, Arancini, Shrimp fra Diavolo, Bakes Ziti and Spahegtti and Meatballs and still had Spazio for more. This is exactly what I’m looking for when I’m ready for Italian food made by family and served by family with love. Thank you.

Our waitress was excellent! However, when we arrived, restaurant was pretty empty and it took more than 10 minutes to be greeted by host. We waited another 10+ minutes when a waitress came over and said she would take the table since original waiter didn’t want to serve the table. This was the second consecutive time we were treated poorly at this establishment and will not return nor recommend to any more friends and family.

Nice, pleasant atmosphere. Steady flow of customers. Food was amazing!!! We didn’t leave a crumb. Probably would have licked the plate if that was socially acceptable. Sofia was our waitress and was wonderful! This is our new favorite place.

The best pizza in town … hands down!

Food is delicious and authentic! I love how this restaurant did a complete transition from the nyc Italian American fare to full on Italian cuisine! Their food is made from scratch and fresh just like Italian food should be. Love most of the dishes, especially the Carbonara. Only issue is sometimes food can be a hit or miss. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and they definitely tasted off, as if the ingredients weren’t as fresh. The torta della nonna cake was also very cold (like it had been frozen) and dry. Also I’ve had pretty dry and hard risotto that wasn’t great. Other than that the service is great and the restaurant is classy. Their calamari is also delicious and the lobster ravioli is to die for!

Shrimps on my pasta tasted so bad not fresh at all. Brushettas also were completely burnt and their answer to us was that it was the way they make it🤦‍♀️. Manager and the guy who welcomes you both with a really bad attitude as well. Never again.

Honestly this was the BEST Italian restaurant me and my family have been to! We’ve eaten on the beach and in small mom and pops but this tops everything! Our waitress knew all of the dishes and specials all by memory and was just so sweet and attentive the whole night, she was genuinely the best waitress I’ve ever had. She even came to the table with a candle and a tiramisu for my sister and we all sang happy birthday together. There was fresh bread the whole time and each dish was just the best. 100% will be coming back weekly!

From the food is the best Italian food I've had in orlando and the staff makes you feel at home. Had the pleasure of dining here on New Year's Eve it was a great to end 2023 with a fantastic meal.

I'll keep this simple: I am really looking forward to another meal at Mangia. There were eight of us at the table and everyone enjoyed everything we were served: bread, salads, main dishes and wine. Personally, my Fresca salad and Shrimp Fra Diavolo were both delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive!

Mangia is a hidden gem! The service is very friendly. The restaurant is very clean. The food is amazing! The wine was also of a higher quality than expected.. it was an all around wonderful experience and so close to us.we are looking forward to our next visit!

Been here twice, repeated Veal Marsala, the bread,wine list Vongole,tiramisu,Italian beer,not enough space to describe, it's walking in to Naples, Sofia and Simon, brother and sister, it's family owned, brother in law drove from Deland, said items on menu no other restaurant has, he had lamb chops and rissotto,my sister had chicken Piscataway, wife had Fruti di mare, oh so satisfying, can't wait to go back, buenisimo...

We loved eating at Mangia. The food was top-notch. My kids had the grouper, and my husband and I had pizza. Both were absolutely delicious. The service was amazing. We love that this is a family owned restaurant with the family being from Italy. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend anyone who hasn't been there yet to try it.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for a nice Italian dinner last night and I must say that I loved the food, wine, and the ambiance. I ordered the pasta alla boscaiola, it was delicious! The sausage was very flavorful, the sauce was rich and creamy, and it had just the right amount of peas. We also ordered the bruschetta and the bread was nice and toasty and the tomatoes and onions fresh and seasoned well. My boyfriend ordered a shrimp pasta and it had a great kick to it (which my boyfriend loves because he loves spicy food), the shrimp was very juicy, and the sauce wasn’t too heavy. We also ordered dessert and the tiramisu and cannolis were delicious. Overall, it was very authentic and the servers were really nice. We’ll definitely be coming back! Make sure to bring your appetite, we were so full afterward.

Everything is awesome about this place

Food and service were exceptional. This isn’t just the best Italian cuisine I’ve had in Orlando, but the best Italian cuisine I’ve had ever. This was my second trip and it didn’t disappoint, authentic and fresh, delicious food, 10/10!

The pizza was great! We had a Marg. and it was not only a great size but tasted great. We shared a chicken marsala, and although we liked the sauce a lot, we would have preferred lightly breaded chicken and thinner noodles. We substituted for the parpadelle noodles, which are house made, but felt they were too thick for us to enjoy despite them tasting good. I liked the pasta e faggioli a lot. We both agreed it was better than many we have had in other places. We finished off the night with a slice of cheesecake for dessert, and it was quite rich, pleasantly dense, and flavorful. It was a good meal!

We tried Mangia last night for first time. Food is absolutely amazing. Service was excellent. Great atmosphere. Owned by family from Naples. Authentic fresh Italian food at very reasonable prices! Our new favorite dining spot!

If you want authentic delicious Italian food prepared and served by Italians you have to visit Mangia, from the moment we entered we were warmly greeted, out food came out fast hot and delicious , our server Simone checked on us frequently to make sure everything was in order. Even if you don’t live near that area, you need to do yourself a favor and try this place, you’ll not be disappointed.

My husband and I ate here for lunch the other day. The service was beyond! Thanks Simone! The food was absolutely amazing. My husband had their mushroom special (I forgot the name) and I had the chicken piccata. Best chicken piccata I have ever eaten and my husband cleaned his plate! I even had to take home a loaf of bread. Can’t wait to go back and try the Pizza. Need I say more? P.S. Don’f forget to order a cannoli!
